The Legend of Naruto
Chunin Exam arc
Kurama no Kyubi: Here's chapter 15 of The Legend of Naruto, so please enjoy it. Also in this chapter, a certain pinkette will get her second dungeon, and she'll also get her hands on some powerful magic. Oh, and by the way, I've forgotten to mention this, but ever since they received some of their respective Goddess' power, the Triforce marks have been permanently showing like tattoos, though they're usually not glowing. Now onto the reviews… if there are any, that is.
Eternal Dragon Keeper21: Great chapter, I wonder who took those eyes, and it was pretty awesome that Sasuke got to fight his father and the co-founder of the Uchiha clan and was able to earn the Uchiha fan and was able to learn a bit about the truth about his brother and Madara Uchiha. What are the dungeons that Naruto is going to do I know that the next one is Sakura and her search for the book of mudora and we know that the dungeon she is going through is the secret entrance below the library, and that Naruto is still on his date with Farore, but we don't know which dungeon he is going to do
Kurama no Kyubi: Actually, it was stated last chapter that it's been a week since the start of their training, so I doubt that Naruto and Farore are still on their date… or else they'd set a world record for the longest date.
Reishin Amara: red moon...not the sharingan moon...just red...perhaps the moon from road to ninja?
Kurama no Kyubi: "Red Moon" was actually meant as a reference to the Akatsuki, since Akatsuki is basically Japanese for red moon. This is also the reason for why I showed a pair of Akatsuki members at the end.
Guest: well in either event I still think that farore should be the one who should help naruto get rid of orchimaru's seal work I mean she the one who chose him as her champion but you also missed two parts of the legend of Zelda the oracle arc so you could get naruto to meet the deku tree at some point in the story also you should try adding Midna into the mix in terms of acting as another trainer for naruto and friends in the mystic arts and a few little history lessons on the side. as for ventus, terra and aqua you should get them to join up with Naruto and his friends as allies eventually.
Kurama no Kyubi: What do you mean that I missed two parts of the Oracle Series? Or wait, are you talking about Ricky and Moosh? If so, they will join the story at some point. Also I will have the protagonists meet the Great Deku Tree, I just haven't figured out when yet, though it might be in this story's sequel. And thanks for your idea regarding Midna, but if I do add her to the story, it won't be for some time yet.

Chapter 15: The Book of Mudora
Sakura was sitting at a table in the Konoha Library as she looked through a book. Next to her were two stables of books on either side.
"Hey, Sakura. Here's another book." Tatl said as she came flying over, barely able to hold on to the book, which was several times her own size.
"Put it down on the table." Sakura said as she turned the page before sighing in frustration "Agh! I can't find anything here about the Book of Mudora."
"I know you have to find that book. But can't it wait? I mean, don't you have to train for the finals?" Tatl asked.
"No, it can't. Finding this book is more important than some exam." Sakura said before closing the book and putting it on top of the stable closest to her on her right. She then picked up the book which Tatl had just arrived with, and took one look at the cover.
""Hyrule Historia"?" She read the title. (Kurama no Kyubi: No, it's not that Hyrule Historia. This one's actually what the name suggests; a history book for Hyrule.)
Some time later Sakura was in front of the counter with the book in her arms. On the other side of the counter was a blond girl with glasses. Her name was Shiho, and she and Sakura had been friends since even before Sakura met Ino.
"Hope you have fun reading the book. And if I find the one that you're looking for, I'll be sure to let you know." Shiho said.
"Thanks." Sakura said before turning around to leave, but she stopped in her tracks when Shiho called out to her.
"Sakura, wait." She said, causing the pinkette to turn around "I know how much you love reading, but don't you think that it'd be a good idea to train for the finals?"
"Trust me. You're not the first one to say that." Sakura said as Tatl grinned.
"I know that you've got a destiny to fulfill – that mark on your hand says as much – but don't rush it, destiny will tend to itself." Shiho said. She and Sakura had always been close friends, and they never kept secrets from one-another, so of course Sakura told her about the Triforce, the surprising thing though is that Shiho didn't seem to be all that surprised by it.
"I know, but I keep getting this feeling that finding the book can help me in the finals." Sakura said before adding "Plus, I don't really see any way to beat Chilly. It gives me the creeps to even think about her."
"Umm… Sakura…" Shiho said nervously, as the temperature in the room seemed to have gotten colder.
"So you think I'm scary, pinky?" Sakura's eyes widened before she slowly turned around to see Chilly standing at the door.
"Wh-what are you doing here?" Sakura asked as Chilly walked over to the counter.
"I'm here to pick up a book I ordered, if you must know." She said before looking at Shiho "Get to it, blondie!"
"S-sure…" Shiho said before walking in through a door behind the counter to look for the book.
"So, I see that you like reading?" Chilly said as she looked at Sakura out of the corner of her eyes.
"Yeah…" Sakura said slowly.
"Well, I'm a bit of a book-worm myself." Chilly said before noticing the book in Sakura's hands "What book is that?"
"It's called "Hyrule Historia"." Sakura said as she kept looking down at the counter.
"A history book? Boring. I, myself prefer action, horror, and erotic novels." Chilly said. Sakura wasn't all that surprised about her liking horror novels, but erotic? She surely didn't know many girls who were into that stuff.
'Great. I'm gonna be fighting a sadistic perv. So she'll probably humiliate me in every sense of the word before she kills me. Just great.' Sakura thought.
"So what kind of novels do you like?" Chilly asked.
"Umm… Well… I guess I like books of the drama, and romance genres… not the erotic kinds of romance though." Sakura said.
"Just as I thought." Chilly said.
"Huh? Excuse me?" Sakura asked as she looked at her.
"You're a boring girl, just as I thought. I can't believe someone like you got the Triforce of Wisdom." Chilly said before looking at Sakura, and she leaned in to her ear and whispered "You're better off surrendering right now, cause before I win, I'm gonna make you swear to be my personal sex slave for the rest of your life just to end the suffering."
"Here's your book." Sakura and Chilly turned to look at Shiho, who had returned with a red book which was titled "Icha Icha Violence".
"Ah, thank you. I've been waiting for this book forever." Chilly said as she grabbed the book before leaving, leaving a trail of ice behind on the floor.
"You're right. Just thinking about her would give anyone the creeps." Shiho said as the temperature returned to normal before she noticed how pale Sakura looked "Hey, Sakura, is something wrong?"
"Huh? What?" Sakura asked as she looked at her.
"I asked you if there was something wrong." Shiho said.
"Oh. No, nothing's wrong. I'm all right." Sakura said as she gave a nervous laugh 'Oh, great. Don't tell me she's a lesbian too… I'm doomed.' (Kurama no Kyubi: Actually, she's bisexual. And probably have many other sex slaves already… and she's only 12…)
Later in the night, Sakura was in her home, lying under the sheets on her bed with the book open on the pillow as she was reading through it, the only source of light she had being Tatl. Good thing Fairies glowed so brightly.
"Say, Tatl?" Sakura said, getting the walking light-bulb's attention.
"What?" She asked.
"Do you really think that Chilly meant what she said?" Sakura asked as she turned a page.
"You mean about making you swear to become her sex slave?" Tatl asked, having heard what Chilly had whispered to Sakura. The pinkette then bit her lip before nodding, and Tatl said "I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if she actually were to pull through with it. I don't think you'll need to worry, though. I'm sure that the proctor will stop the match before you can get beaten up enough for that to happen."
"Yeah, but wouldn't Chilly have taken that into consideration?" Sakura asked.
"Yeah, probably. But then I don't see why she'd make the threat, knowing she couldn't pull through with it. Maybe it was a bluff to make you forfeit the match?" Tatl said.
"No, she doesn't seem like the kind to do that. She probably has something planned." Sakura guessed.
"You could be right." Tatl said in thought.
Konoha Library
Shiho was walking through the dark library, holding a lantern as she was checking if everything was as it should be. However, as she rounded a corner, she noticed that a book had fallen out of a shelf. She picked up the book, but as she returned it to its right-full place, she felt a slight breeze coming from the other side of the shelf.
'Could it be…?' She thought before putting the book and the lantern down on a nearby table as she pushed the shelf a little away from the wall, and her eyes widened as a hidden door was revealed.
The next day
The following day, Sakura once again came to the library.
"Hey, Shiho. I'm here to return Hyrule Historia, as well as continue looking for the Book of Mudora." Sakura said as she approached the counter.
"Oh, hi Sakura. Already finished it?" Shiho asked as Sakura nodded.
"Yup. I stayed up all night to read it." She said.
""Stayed up all night"? That's unlike you, Sakura." Shiho said.
"Yeah, but I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about… stuff." Sakura said, recalling Chilly's threat the previous day.
"Well, anyway. Sakura, I've got some good news for you." Shiho said.
"Oh? Like what?" Sakura asked.
"While checking if everything was in order last night, I discovered something." Shiho said.
"Discovered what?" Tatl asked.
"There's a secret passageway leading to a hidden basement beneath the library. If the book you're looking for is anywhere in Konoha, my guess is that it'd be somewhere in there." Shiho said before stepping out from behind the corner as she walked towards the secret passageway was "Follow me."
Sakura then left the book on the counter as she followed her. They rounded the corner, and stopped before a book-shelf. Shiho then went to push it slightly away from the wall, just enough so that a person could get through.
"It's pretty dark down there at first, and I doubt Tatl is bright enough to illuminate everything for you, so take this." Shiho said as she gave Sakura a lantern.
"Thanks, Shiho." She said before walking through the door and down the stairs until she came to another door, which she then opened and passed through.
(Dungeon #4: Library Basement.)
As she had passed through the door, she came to a dark corridor, and she walked through it until she eventually reached another door which she then walked through.
Sakura then entered a large, open room which was several stories high with her and Tatl being near the top, looking down from a ledge. The walls were all lined with book-shelves that were filled with books.
"Whoa… This place is huge." Sakura said as she looked over the ledge to see if she could see the bottom, which she apparently couldn't "Has all of this really been hiding beneath the village all this time?"
"Whoa. Look at all the books." Tatl said as she looked around "There's a lot. This place would definitely give Tael a head-ache."
"Yeah, no kidding. And Naruto wouldn't be any better off." Sakura said before adding "Though, saying that there are a lot of books would be an understatement. I've never even heard of a library with this many books before."
"Hmm… Good point." Tatl said before looking around and asking "So, where do we go now?"
"Hmm…" Sakura looked around to see that the way to the left was a dead-end seeing as though the ledge just went into the wall so she turned to the right and started walking "This way."
The place was rather huge, but Sakura and Tatl did manage to get through it. It didn't take long until they discovered that there were some shelves which had an open space just big enough for a book to fit, and they needed to find the right book which they'd then put into the open space, and the shelf would open up like a door. Doing this was obviously necessary to progress in the dungeon seeing as the doors led to a series of other rooms which eventually led back till another part of the main room.
There were also a number of floating platforms which could also bring them to other parts of the main room. And after a while, they had spotted a platform hanging in the exact middle of the room, being suspended in the air by four huge chains. Eventually, Sakura and Tatl had reached one of these chains, and they ran over it towards the platform.
As they reached the platform, they noticed that there was a pedestal in the middle of it with a green book on top of it. Before Sakura could walk over to the pedestal, however, a force-field suddenly appeared around it as another force-field appeared around the entire platform.
"What the…?" Sakura said before what appeared to be a knight in armor dropped from above, and landed just in front of her.
"It's a Darknut!" Tatl exclaimed as the Darknut swung his sword downwards.
Sakura rolled to the left, dodging the sharp blade before drawing her own sword, and swinging it at the Darknut. However, the armor seemed to be too strong, seeing as though it didn't even get a scratch.
The Darknut then swung its sword again, but Sakura successfully managed to block it with her own. The Darknut then pushed its sword, forcing Sakura to jump back, causing her to end up at the force-field.
The Darknut then jumped into the air and as it came down, it swung its sword downwards towards Sakura, but she rolled forward, completely dodging the attack. And when the Darknut had landed, she swung her sword upwards, cutting it across its back, and causing the armor on its chest and stomach to fall off.
The Darknut then turned around as it swung its sword, and Sakura tried to block it with her own, but this time the Darknut swung the sword with such force that Sakura was thrown backwards, and straight at the force-field surrounding the pedestal.
"Thieves. I will not have you steal any books from this library." The Darknut said to Sakura's and Tatl's surprise.
"Nani? I've never heard of a Darknut that can talk before." Tatl said.
"We're not here to steal anything. We're looking for a book which Nayru-sama told us to find." Sakura said as she climbed to her feet.
"Lies. There are no way thieves like you could have any kind of connection with Nayru-sama." The Darknut said.
""Nayru-sama"?" Tatl asked in surprise.
"What is it, Tatl?" Sakura asked.
"Darknuts are evil beings, originally created by the Demon Lord, Ganon." Tatl said.
"Then why would one of them refer to one of the Goddesses as "sama"?" Sakura asked.
"I don't know." Tatl said.
The Darknut then swung his sword at Sakura again, but she managed to dodge it before swinging her own sword at the Darknut. However, the Darknut easily managed to block her sword before he latched out with a kick to her gut, sending her into the force-field, causing her to cough up blood.
"SAKURA!" Tatl exclaimed as she flew over to the pinkette.
"Sakura, are you all right?" Tatl asked as she approached the girl who was currently on her knees as she attempted to climb to her feet.
"Yeah, don't worry. I'm all right." She said just before the Darknut noticed the mark on the back of Sakura's right hand.
'That mark…' He thought before to Sakura's and Tatl's surprise, he kneeled down as he said "I'm sorry, I didn't realize who you were. But from that mark on your hand, there can be no mistake. You're the wielder of the Triforce of Wisdom, and the rightful heir to the throne of Hyrule."
"He sure changed his attitude quickly enough." Tatl said as Sakura got up on her feet, and the force-fields vanished.
"Umm… You can stand up now… I'm not that used to having people bow before me." Sakura said, and the Darknut reluctantly rose back to his feet.
"So… do you have a name?" Sakura asked.
"You may call me Legion." The Darknut said.
"Legion, huh?" Sakura said as she sheaved her sword.
"It's a name given to me by Uzu-sama." Legion said.
"Hey, Sakura! Come here!" Tatl said as she had flown over to the book, and Sakura then walked over to her before looking at the book.
"This… this is it… It's the Book of Mudora!" She exclaimed as she grabbed the book before looking through it.
"I can't believe we finally found it!" Tatl said.
However, celebrations were cut short as one of the chains suspending the platform was suddenly detached from the wall, causing the platform to slightly tilt in that direction. Another chain was then detached from the wall, causing the platform to tilt even more, and while Sakura was able to stay on it, using her chakra, Legion fell off and fell into a hole in the floor, which was then closed by an iris.
The third chain was the detached from the wall, causing the platform to crash into the wall, and Sakura fell off and into a hole in the floor. She and Tatl found themselves going down a pipeline before they eventually came out of a hole in the wall which was then closed by an iris as they landed on their rear ends.
"Itai…" Sakura said while rubbing her behind as she rose to her feet before looking around "Where are we?"
"I don't know, but we seem to have gotten separated from Legion." Tatl said.
They then started walking around where they had appeared now. It seemed to be a maze of rooms which were even beneath the Labyrinth Basement, but they eventually managed to reach back to the main room, though they seemed to be at the very bottom.
As they walked into the room, the door behind them was suddenly blocked by a book-shelf, before a hole in the middle of the room opened up, and a large floating stone with an eye came out. Just then, many of the different books flew out of their shelves and started orbiting the rock as though it had its own gravitational field.
(Boss #8: Great Floating Rock, Arrghus.)
Suddenly several of the books were sent flying at them, but Sakura jumped out of the way before grabbing for her bow, but then she remembered that she didn't have it.
'Kuso. I left the bow at home!' She thought before more of the books were launched at her, and she ran out of the way as a trail of books was left imbedded in the floor behind her.
"Princess!" Sakura and Tatl looked up to see Legion come down from above just before he swiped his sword straight through several of the books, destroying them before rolling over the floor as he landed.
"Legion-san!" Sakura exclaimed.
Several books were then thrown at them as Sakura, and Legion jumped in opposite directions to avoid them.
"This is a tough opponent. My sword didn't even leave a dent in that thing." Legion said as he had hit Arrghus when he destroyed the books as he came down.
"If even you couldn't damage it, then what hope do we have?" Sakura asked.
"Do you still have the Book of Mudora?" Legion asked and Sakura nodded "Good. Then I'll distract this thing while you look through that book, see if you can find a spell that could help."
"Right!" Sakura said.
"Wait, Legion. An Arrghus' weak spot is its eye." Tatl said.
"Yes. I'm aware." Legion said.
"Good luck." Sakura said, and Legion only nodded before charging at Arrghus as he held his huge sword at the ready.
Sakura then pulled out the book before looking through it as Legion continued destroying the books, but Arrghus just summoned more books to come to him.
"Sakura, you need to hurry. I don't know how much longer he can hold out." Tatl said as Legion was losing his armor as the books hit him.
"Here's something useful!" Sakura exclaimed as she had found something that seemed powerful.
"Now, let's see." She then held her left hand in half a hand sign as she charged her chakra as a gust of wind circled her and a silvery blue glyph suddenly appeared on the floor under her feet.
Seeing this, Legion jumped back as one of the books hit him in the head with enough force to knock his helmet off, and Tatl gasped when she saw that he actually had a head since she herself had thought that Darknuts were beings that were created from pure darkness, so basically there shouldn't be anything within the armor.
"Princess, use it!" Legion yelled.
"I call upon the heavenly bolts of lightning to come down and destroy my enemies! ETHER!" She called out, and suddenly a silvery blue lightning bolt formed above her head before shooting at Arrghus at the speed of lightning, destroying the books, and hitting the large rock in the eye, killing it.
"Well that was surprisingly easy." Tatl said.
"You did good, Princess." Legion said as Sakura and Tatl turned to him.
He had spiky, black hair which stood straight up, evil-looking red eyes, and also a scar which went over his left eye just like with Kakashi. He also seemed to have seen countless battles.
"I must say that I'm surprised. I thought that Ganon had created the Darknuts from pure darkness. I didn't expect there to be a body inside all of that armor." Tatl said.
"Yes, that is the common belief isn't it? But in truth the Darknuts used to be ordinary people who at some point or another was overcome by hatred, and eventually turned to the darkness. The Demon Lord, Ganon saw this, and used it to manipulate us into serving him, even stripping us of our emotions, morals, and even our personalities." Legion said.
"But if you were originally a normal person, then Legion couldn't have been your real name, could it?" Sakura said.
"You're right, it's not. Then name "Legion" was – as I said – originally given to me by Uzu-sama. However, I've been a Darknut for so long that I don't even remember what my real name is." Legion said.
"You don't remember your real name? How sad…" Sakura said.
"Ha ha. That's exactly what Uzu-sama said just before she gave me my name." Legion said before adding "Don't worry though. While I hardly remember anything from before I became a Darknut, I don't think too much about it."
"Say, why don't you come with us up to the village?" Sakura asked.
"I can't. I have a duty to fulfill here, so I can't leave yet." Legion said.
"But weren't you here to protect the Book of Mudora?" Sakura asked, and Legion shook his head.
"Not quite. While it was one of my duties, my main objective is to make sure that any book in this library may never fall into the wrong hands. And there are even some books which hold terrible forbidden magics that could cause disasters on a global scale, the Forbidden Seven." Legion said.
"If those books hold such terrible magic, then can't you just destroy them?" Sakura asked, but Legion shook his head.
"Once, a long time ago, the man who wrote those books, cast a powerful protective spell over them, making them completely and utterly indestructible." Legion said.
Konoha, memorial stone training field
In the memorial stone training field were Naruto and Obito currently sparring… or rather, they were just done sparring as Naruto was lying exhausted on the ground, and Obito was standing above him, looking down at him.
Obito then looked towards a branch high up in a tree to see Farore sitting there. She'd been watching them train the entire week, and right now had also made herself invisible for anyone but Naruto, Obito, Navi, and Dimitri. On her lap was Dimitri lying comfortable as she rubbed him across the shell on his back, and Navi was currently sitting on her shoulder.
'It's time to bring the training a step further, Naruto-kun needs to learn how to control Kurama-kun's powers.' The Goddess spoke to Obito's mind.
'Do you think he's ready? It could be dangerous, especially since we're not inside of Turtle Island.' Obito spoke back through the telepathic link.
'Don't worry, Kurama-kun won't do anything stupid as long as I'm here. Plus, I've already put up a barrier around the training field, so he won't be able to get out.' Farore said.
'All right. I'll tell Naruto-san the good news.' Obito said before Farore suddenly looked in the direction of one of Konoha's gates 'Is something wrong, Farore-sama?'
'Iie.' Farore replied before she started smiling 'Those two have arrived in the village.'
'Those two? ... Oh, I see.' Obito said as the telepathic connection was cut off.
Konoha, gates
At the gates of Konoha were two people entering, one of them was a man with long white hair and a large scroll on his back, and the other was a young woman with long, scarlet red hair and she also wore armor.

Obito "Naruto-san, get up."…"It's time for you to learn how to control Kurama's power."
Naruto "Alright, you stinking fox, show me what you've got!"
Obito "You must first enter your mindscape, and from there you must find Kurama's cage, remove the seal, and fight the Biju."
Kurama "You think you can get control over my powers, Naruto?"
Farore "Naruto-kun took a wrong turn in his mindscape and found the Hall of Memories."
Navi "Next time on The Legend of Naruto: Kurama."
Minato "Tonight I've confirmed two things. The first is that masked man, the one who attacked you… he is the harbinger of that disaster. And Naruto will be the one to stop him. The Jinchuriki who will blaze the trail to our future. I just… know it."…"Shikifujin!"
Naruto "TOU-SAN!"
