Chunin Exam arc
Kurama no Kyubi: Now, Naruto will finally gain some control over Kurama's chakra, and hopefully he'll manage to befriend the beast, though I'm not holding my breath on that. Now, then, let's get to the reviews and start the chapter.
ImagineBreaker7: Your last two chapters were great I love how Sasuke and Sakura got stronger and I can't wait to read your next chapter. I wonder how everyone will react when they see that Naruto has control over Kurama?
Kurama no Kyubi: He won't have full control over Kyubi's chakra, only some of it, since Obito would only want him to slowly work himself upwards, so one tail per week of training, that's three tails by the time of the finals.
Guest: by the oracle arc in the legend of zelda series I meant the oracle of ages and the oracle of seasons and also you should give Naruto and company A further history lesson on what happened in the three time line before they merged back into one
Kurama no Kyubi: I know you meant the Oracle Games, what I was wondering was what you meant by saying that I'd missed them.
midnathething: Um... I do believe Akatsuki actually means dawn/daybreak. At least, that what the Narutopedia entry on Akatsuki said.

Kurama no Kyubi: Okay, well I only thought that Akatsuki meant "Red Moon", since if you split the word into two, it becomes aka – meaning red – and tsuki – meaning moon – but if you're right then I could go back and changes what Izuna said.

Guest: let me take a wild guess at who's come to town in your last chapter Erza and Jiriaya all here in time to give our young hero some training in the art of war. here's some inspiration for a new piece of gear that Naruto should potential obtain in the future the wire gloves which hold the power to manipulate objects and enemies through use of strings it can also be used as a weapon to turn naruto enemies into sashimi sort of like that guy in the hellsing manga series who uses wires to turn all enemies sashimi.
Kurama no Kyubi: Well, your guess is right, but the reason for why they're there is totally wrong. And thanks for the idea, but since I suppose those strings can also be used as a means to cross large gaps, I will rather give them to someone else, since Naruto's already got the vine-whip.

Chapter 16: Kurama
Naruto was lying on his bed as he was stroking Dimitri's back as said Dodongo was sleeping on his stomach. He then turned his head to look at the meteor that was- or rather, that used to be there, but wasn't there any longer as he thought back to what happened after his date with Farore.
Flashback
Naruto and Farore entered the former's apartment, holding hands as they were done with the date. Farore had wanted him to show her his apartment, which is why they were there.
Naruto showed her around the place, though since it wasn't all that big, it didn't take very long, and shortly after they had entered, they were in Naruto's room. Farore then noticed the meteor before speaking up.
"So, do you like the gift I gave you?" She asked.
"What?" Naruto asked as he looked at her before she pointed at the stone, and Naruto's gaze followed her finger "Wait. It was you who sent that thing down? I could've been killed! Dattebayo!"
"Sorry. That was an accident." Farore said.
"So, why'd you give me a meteor?" Naruto asked.
"Well, it's not really the meteor. Rather what's inside it." Farore said.
"Inside it?" Naruto asked before Farore walked over to the stone, picked it up, and simply crushed it in her palm, causing Naruto to wince at her strength.
Farore then turned around, holding out her hand, and in-between all the rubble from the meteor was a small purple stone, and Naruto took said stone before looking at it.
"That's the Earth Element. With it, your sword will become much stronger. It will also give you the ability to harm those who can become intangible, like those Tani-nins." Farore said.
"Really?" Naruto asked, and Farore nodded before the blond yelled "Then why didn't you tell me this before?"
"Heh heh heh… Well, you see… heh heh heh. Ehh… You hadn't heard my entire message yet, so I couldn't tell you anything… heh heh heh…" Farore said as she was laughing nervously.
"Well, anyway. I guess that this goes into one of those holes in the Hakko Chakura To?" Naruto asked, and Farore nodded.
"Hai, that's right." She said.
Naruto then grabbed his sword from the bed, and saw three small holes that went in a straight line beneath the green gem, which he had learned was the Wind Element. He then attempted to put the purple stone into the hole beneath the green one, but it wouldn't fit, so he put it into the hole beneath there again, where it fit perfectly.
"It fit!" Naruto said in slight surprise.
"Well, of course it did." Farore said before getting a more serious look on her face "Naruto-kun, I need you to remove your dress."
"Huh? Why?" Naruto asked as he put down the sword before he started blushing as he realized what she could have in mind "Wait. You can't seriously mean that we're going to…"
"Of course not! I just need to check your seal!" Farore said as she blushed heavily while Naruto let out a heavy sigh before the Goddess suddenly got a seductive look in her eyes "Though if you want to, I would be more than happy to comply." This caused Naruto to blush so heavily that he'd put Hinata to shame "What? We're both of legal age; I'm a Goddess born several billion years ago, and according to shinobi laws, you're considered adults the moment you graduate the academy." Then steam started coming out of Naruto's head as the blush got even heavier.
"I'm only joking. I won't do it with someone I just finished my first date with… I might after the second date though… I did with Obito-kun." Farore said, and Naruto started calming down before her last words hit him.
"Wait, what?" He yelled so loud that the entire village heard him.
"Oh, right. I used to date Obito-kun a while back, but it didn't work out in the end." Farore said.
'Could it be that you were moving too fast for him?' Naruto thought with a deadpanned expression on his face.
"Now get rid of the dress, and the shirt too while you're at it!" Farore said, getting serious again.
"Alright, alright." Naruto said as he got said garments off of himself, causing Farore to gasp when she saw his muscles, it was such a shame that he hid them under that orange jacket he used to have, he might've actually managed to score some girls… okay, scratch that, it's a good thing that he hid them.
"Now charge your chakra so that the seal becomes visible." The Goddess demanded, and Naruto did as told, not wanting to argue with a girl that just mere moments ago destroyed a rock from outer space with just her palm.
The seal then appeared, and shortly afterwards another seal appeared above it, causing Farore to raise an eye-brow. She then knelt down before Naruto before putting her hand on the seal.
"Is something wrong?" Naruto asked nervously.
"No. It's just that someone has put a seal above the seal on Kurama-kun. It's most likely Orochimaru." Farore said.
"Can you remove it?" Naruto asked.
"A seal of this low level? No problem." Farore said before simply tapping the seal, and it vanished "There. Done."
She then raised to her feet before engulfing Naruto's lips in a kiss, catching the blond of-guard, but it didn't take long before he started returning the kiss.
Flashback end
The next day, Naruto had learned the real reason of why she wanted to see his apartment, cause she had rented the apartment just next to him. Good thing there weren't anyone else living in the area, the reason for that being that Naruto was there, course you'd think that the Land Lord would've thrown the blond out a long time ago, but he was actually one of the few people who saw the boy for who he truly was, a young boy who'd unwillingly and unknowingly become the container of the strongest of the Biju.
Naruto then rose up, causing Dimitri to wake up before he got dressed in some clothes that Obito had given him. In fact, they were the exact same clothes as Obito had used back when he was a kid. Of course, he had replaced the Uchiha Fan with the Uzumaki Spiral. After he'd finished getting dressed, he ate breakfast before leaving as Dimitri was sitting on his head, and Navi was sitting on his shoulder.
As he exited the apartment, Farore exited hers.
"Naruto-kun, good morning." She said.
"Good morning, Farore-chan." Naruto said.
"If you're going to kiss, then do it." Navi said, teasingly.
"Give it a rest, Navi." Naruto said.
"Well, then, Naruto-kun. Should we get going? Don't want to keep Obito-kun waiting." Farore said as she walked past Naruto while grabbing his hand, neither noticing that the Land Lord was on the roof, looking down at them with a smile on his face.
"Tekashi-sensei." A voice came from behind him.
"I retired a long time ago, Obito. You don't need to use that honorific anymore." The Land Lord, now identified as Tekashi said.
"True. But I'm still going to use it. You were after all one of senseis teammates. Kuroshi no Tekashi." Obito said.
"Perhaps. But I'm no shinobi any longer." Tekashi said.
"True. But there's still a way that you could still serve this world." Obito said, catching Tekashi's attention.
Konoha, street
Naruto and Farore were walking down the streets of Konoha, they weren't getting as many stares as they got at first. It had been a weak since their date, and the people of the village had gotten used to the two walking together, though none of them knew that Farore was a Goddess of course. They had also gotten used to Naruto's pet Dodongo, and Fairy friend.
Course at first, most of the stares they were getting were due to Farore's weird clothing style. So since then, she's dressed in more modern clothing. She was now wearing a green t-shirt with a white circle on the front which had her symbol in it, and on the back she had the Uzumaki clan crest, apparently she was expecting her relationship with Naruto to go far. She also wore green shorts which stopped just above her knee-caps, and to finish the look, she wore a pair of green shinobi sandals. Also, she still had her hair in a ponytail since Naruto had complimented it during their date.
"Wow. I guess seeing really is believing." Naruto and Farore turned around to see Shikamaru and Choji standing there.
"Shikamaru? Shouldn't you be off somewhere training?" Naruto asked.
"It's a drag, but tou-san gave me the day off from training." Shikamaru said.
'Wait. It's a drag to get a day to relax?' Naruto thought.
"You must be Nara Shikamaru, heir to the Nara clan." Farore said before turning to Choji, who was currently munching down his chips "And Akimichi Choji, heir to the Akimichi clan."
"You know us? Did Naruto tell you?" Shikamaru asked, but Farore shook her head.
"Iie. He doesn't have to, I can read your faces like a book. They tell me all I need to know about you." Farore said.
"Hey, what's with this girl?" Choji asked as he looked at Shikamaru.
"A great evil is approaching, and the world will need a hero for the first time in a long while. And that hero will need strong friends to stand by his side." Farore said as she closed her eyes before opening them again, and Shikamaru suddenly saw a bunch of images pass before his eyes.
Vision
He saw a forest with children clad in green, running around. Then a large tree could be seen followed by a young girl with green hair in what appeared to be two ponytails, but the ponytails were completely spherical. Just then, however, everything burned down and two yellow eyes became visible as an evil laughter was heard. Then he saw a cave in the forest before he saw a green stone lying under a green statue of a woman he assumed to be the Goddess, Farore.
Vision end
Shikamaru then held his palm on his face as he let out a grunt, making it almost look like he was in pain.
"Hey, Shikamaru, are you all right?" Choji asked as Farore turned around and started walking again.
"The name's Farore, by the way." She said as Naruto looked at her before looking at Shikamaru in confusion, before running over to his girlfriend.
"Wait, Farore-chan!" He said.
'Farore?' Shikamaru thought.
"Hey, what was that all about?" Naruto asked as he caught up with the green-haired Goddess.
"What was what about?" Farore asked, acting completely innocent.
"You know what I mean! What did you do to Shikamaru?" Naruto asked.
"That is none of your concern, Naruto-kun. So don't worry about it, alright?" Farore said as she continued walking, and Naruto followed her.
"What do you mean, "that's none of my concern"?" Naruto asked.
"I am not having this conversation any longer." Farore said firmly as they continued walking, however, they didn't notice that Ventus was looking at them – or rather – he was looking at Farore.
Konoha, Memorial Stone Training Field
Shortly afterwards had Naruto and Farore reached the training field, though there were no sign of Obito. Then, the air in front of them suddenly became distorted as it started resembling a vortex before Obito appeared out of it.
"Ah! Naruto-san, Farore-sama, you're already here, I see." He said.
"And what are we? Chopped liver?" Navi asked as Dimitri let out a complaining growl.
"Of course not, Navi-chan, Dimitri-kun." Obito said before turning to Naruto "Now then, I would like for us to start off with a sparring session to see just how well you've progressed."
"Alright! I've been waiting for this!" Naruto exclaimed.
Farore then lifted Dimitri off of the blond's head before disappearing in a green flash, and reappearing on the branch of a nearby tree, letting her legs dangle off of it. She then put the Dodongo down in her lap as Navi came flying over and landed on her shoulder.
"Well then, Naruto-san. Are you ready?" Obito asked.
"Oh, you bet I am!" Naruto called out before charging at him.
The spar – if you could call it that – didn't last very long as shortly after, Naruto was lying on the ground before Obito, who hadn't even moved an inch from where he first appeared, he hadn't even used any techniques.
Obito then looked towards the branch that Farore was sitting on.
'It's time to bring the training a step further, Naruto-kun needs to learn how to control Kurama-kun's powers.' The Goddess spoke to Obito's mind.
'Do you think he's ready? It could be dangerous, especially since we're not inside of Turtle Island.' Obito spoke back through the telepathic link.
'Don't worry, Kurama-kun won't do anything stupid as long as I'm here. Plus, I've already put up a barrier around the training field, so he won't be able to get out.' Farore said.
'All right. I'll tell Naruto-san the good news.' Obito said before Farore suddenly looked in the direction of one of Konoha's gates 'Is something wrong, Farore-sama?'
'Iie.' Farore replied before she started smiling 'Those two have arrived in the village.'
'Those two? ... Oh, I see.' Obito said as the telepathic connection was cut off. He then looked down at Naruto before kicking him in the side.
"Naruto-san, get up." He said, and Naruto quickly rose to his feet "It's time for you to learn how to control Kurama's power."
"What? Really? Alright!" Naruto exclaimed before thinking 'Jiji's going to be so surprised when he sees it.'
"But before we begin, there's something that I want you to keep in mind." Obito said, catching the blond's attention.
"What is it?" Naruto asked.
"Even if you manage to gain control over his powers, I want you to only use them as a last resort; when all else fails." Obito said.
"Uh… What?" Naruto asked, causing Obito to sigh while face-palming.
"It means that you can only use his powers when nothing else works." Navi said as she came flying over to them.
"Oh? Then why didn't you just say so in the first place?" Naruto asked as he looked at Obito, who – along with Navi – slumped his head while letting out a heavy sigh.
'He practically did.' Navi thought.
"So, what do I do?" Naruto asked as Farore walked over with Dimitri in her arms.
"You must first enter your mindscape, and from there you must find Kurama's cage, remove the seal, and fight the Biju." Obito said.
"I have to fight him?" Naruto yelled before adding "Isn't this a little risky? What if something bad happens?"
"Don't worry. I've erected a barrier around the training field in case Kurama-kun gets out. So he won't be able to attack the village." Farore said.
'You're not worried about me?' Naruto thought with a dumbstruck expression on his face.
"All right, Naruto-san, get to it." Obito said.
"Umm… How do I get into my mindscape, again?" Naruto asked.
"That's the simple part. All you need to do is to sit down in the lotus position, then close your eyes." Obito said.
"Okay…" Naruto said before asking "What's the lotus position?"
"I'll show you…" Obito said, but he was cut off when Farore spoke up.
"This is the lotus position." Naruto and Obito looked towards her to see that she was sitting in the pre-mentioned position.
Naruto then sat down in the lotus position, and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a large sewer with water up to his knees.
(Dungeon #5: Mindscape Labyrinth.)
"Naruto-san, can you hear me?" Came Obito's voice.
"Yeah, I can. What now?" Naruto asked.
"First, you need to find Kurama's cage. But be careful, it won't be easy. You're mindscape is rather large." Obito said.
"Oh? How do you know?" Naruto asked.
"The size of one's mindscape depends on the amount of chakra you have. Someone like you, who have God-like reserves, would naturally have a large mindscape. But beware, the part of your mindscape that holds Kurama-kun is only a small part of it. Same goes for the Temple of Time copy." Farore said.
"Okay. So where am I now? It looks like some kind of sewer." Naruto said.
"You're as close to Kurama's cage as we could get you. Though it's still only on the outskirts of that part of your mindscape. Be careful, Naruto-san." Obito said.
"Alright." Naruto said before he started walking.
Konoha, Hokage Tower
Two people were walking through the Hokage Tower as they headed to the Hokage's office. One of them was a tall man with long white hair and a large scroll on his back. The other one was a young woman who wore armor and had long scarlet red hair.
They eventually reached the Hokage's office, and the man knocked on the door.
"Come in." Came Hiruzen's voice, and the two walked in.
After entering, they closed the door behind them as Hiruzen looked up from his paper work.
"Jiraiya, I haven't seen you in a long time." He said as he recognized the man instantly.
"Yes, it's good to see you again too, Sarutobi-sensei." The man, now identified as Jiraiya said.
"And who's the young lady?" Hiruzen asked as he noticed the young woman.
"Well, this here's…" Jiraiya began, but he was cut off as the young woman bowed slightly while speaking up.
"I am Erza Scarlet from the Magic Guild, Fairy Tail, Hokage-sama." She said.
"Erza Scarlet, you say? I've heard of you." Hiruzen said before turning to Jiraiya "Jiraiya, did you return because of Orochimaru's presence in the village?"
"Iie." Jiraiya said as he shook his head before saying "I came because there's something that I need to tell you."
"And what's that?" Hiruzen asked.
"As you know, the reason I left the village was to keep tabs on Orochimaru." When Hiruzen nodded, he continued "But a while back, Orochimaru joined an organization of nine S-class criminals called "Akatsuki". Some time after, however, Orochimaru left the Akatsuki as the other members went off in pairs."
"Hmm… Yes, I believe I've heard of the Akatsuki. Back in the last Great Ninja War, some of our rivals hired them as mercenary soldiers." Hiruzen said.
"Right. And I've heard that they also go out and take on bounty-hunting missions. But, when a group like that gets together, it's not to do charity work." Jiraiya said before continuing "I followed the trail of two of the Akatsuki for a while, and it eventually led me to the Kingdom of Fiore. That's where I met Erza-chan and her team, which had previously spotted the two Akatsuki members in a bar, and followed them because they seemed suspicious. Their trail eventually led us to a large cave where we ran into the two Akatsuki members."
"And who were they?" Hiruzen asked.
"Hoshigaki Kisame of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of Kiri, and Uchiha Itachi." Jiraiya said.
"Itachi, you say? So the Akatsuki's got someone like him?" Hiruzen said.
"Yes. But that's not all." Jiraiya said before looking at Erza from the corner of his eyes "Show it to him."
"Yes. Re-quip!" Erza said and a red round shield formed like the Uzumaki clan crest appeared in her hand, and she put it down on Hiruzen's desk.
"An Uzumaki Shield?" Hiruzen said in surprise.
"That's right. A shield originally created by the Uzumaki clan, inscribed with powerful Fuinjutsu to make it indestructible, despite the fact that it's only made of wood. Only seven of these shields were created before Uzushio fell, and since then, the shields have all but vanished from the world. Until now." Jiraiya said.
"You say you found this in a cave in Fiore? How did it get so far away from Uzushio?" Hiruzen asked.
"I suspect that divine intervention was part of it." Jiraiya said.
"What do you mean?" Hiruzen asked.
"Inside the cave, we found a temple dedicated to the Goddess, Nayru." Jiraiya said.
Naruto's mindscape
Naruto was walking through his mindscape, it felt like he'd been walking for hours, and there were still no sign of Kurama's cage. He then came to a fork in the road with two different directions to choose; one to the right and one to the left.
"So… where do I go from here?" He asked out loud before – after some hard thinking – he headed to the left "I hope that this leads to Kurama's cage."
After a while, however, the dark, sewer-like corridors turned into a bright white hallway with countless doors on either side.
"Huh? Where am I now?" Naruto asked.
Konoha, Memorial Stone Training Field
"Oh, no!" Farore said as she was sitting in front of Naruto.
"What is it, Farore-sama?" Obito asked.
"Naruto-kun took a wrong turn in his mindscape and found the Hall of Memories." Farore said.
"The Hall of Memories, you say?" Obito asked.
"Yes. If he stays in there for too long, he could get trapped forever." Farore said casually.
'Yet you don't seem to be too worried.' Obito thought before speaking up "Do you think it's possible for him to find out about his parents?"
"That isa possibility. But he would have to find his very earliest memories, and it's a rather long hall. He would have to find the end of it." Farore said.
Naruto's mindscape, Hall of Memories
"Huh? Have I already reached the end?" Naruto asked as he'd reached the end of the hallway, looking at the door which was on the wall in front of him. He'd tried entering a few of the doors, so he knew by now that they contained things from his past, and the further down the hallway he went, the further into his past he got. The first door had shown him the battle against Flare, the second one, the defeat of Gato and his men, the third one, the bell test, the fourth one, his graduation, the fifth one, a spar he had with Sasuke a long time ago during a sparring class in the academy, the sixth one, when he was thrown out of the orphanage and eventually met Tekashi.
"Alright, here goes." He said before opening the door which he assumed to lead to his earliest memory, it's amazing that it would still be intact after all these years.
Suddenly, he appeared in a room within a cave as everything except himself were devoid of colors. He noticed that there were four other people in the room, two men, and two women. One of the women was lying on a bed made out of rocks, apparently undergoing child-birth, Naruto figured that the woman must've been his mother. He also recognized one of the men, he looked just like the mountain image of… the Yondaime Hokage? What the hell was he doing there?
The woman cried out in pain as Naruto noticed a very miniature version of himself coming out of her, crying. And then the Yondaime said something which caused Naruto's eyes to widen.
"I'm a father." He said.
The woman then started screaming even more, which caused Naruto to raise a curious eye-brow before he noticed the seal on her stomach which seemed to be falling apart. The Yondaime, Namikaze Minato then went to repair the seal, but shortly after, all hell broke loose.
A masked man appeared, killed the other two people in the room, and held chibi Naruto hostage. Minato managed to save him, but was forced to escape as the blanket that chibi Naruto was in was littered with explosive tags.
Naruto don't know what happened to his mother or the masked man afterwards, since he was forced to come with his father, or rather, he was forced to come with his baby self.
They appeared outside a house before Minato brought chibi Naruto in, and put him under the blankets on a bed before leaving as Naruto sat down by the wall. Shortly after, Minato returned with his wife and put her down on the bed before leaving again, and from the sounds, Naruto suspected that Kurama had been let loose.
Some time after wards, Minato returned, and quickly grabbed his wife and son before disappearing again as the whole place was destroyed in a massive explosion. Naruto then simply watched as Minato and his wife, Kushina argued.
"I know what you want to say, but Jiraiya-sensei spoke of the world undergoing a revolution, and with it, a great disaster. Tonight I've confirmed two things. The first is that masked man, the one who attacked you… he is the harbinger of that disaster. And Naruto will be the one to stop him. The Jinchuriki who will blaze the trail to our future. I just… know it." Minato said after a while, causing Naruto's heart to skip a beat, his father, the Yondaime Hokage really believed in him that much.
"But… Minato." Kushina said before Minato went through a series of hand signs.
"Shikifujin!" He called out before – after some more arguing with Kushina – a spiritual arm shot out of his gut, and grabbed Kurama's leg before going back to him with a bunch of the fox's chakra, causing Kurama to shrink down to half his normal size.
Minato then summoned a ritual alter, and put chibi Naruto on it, but Kurama attempted to impale him with his claw, however, Minato and Kushina used their own bodies to block it. They then went on to giving their last words to Naruto before Minato finished the sealing.
"Hakke no Fuin Shiki!" He said, and suddenly everything started to go white.
"TOU-SAN!" Naruto yelled as he attempted to run towards them, but he only got further away before he was suddenly thrown out of the door, and landed on his rear.
"Itai." He said as he rose to his feet while rubbing his rear "That's it. I have to get out of here and find Kurama's cage. Tou-san to Kaa-san believed in me, I can't let them down." He then turned around and ran in the direction he'd come from, and shortly after wards returned to the sewer-like corridors.
Konoha, Memorial Stone Training Field
"YAY! Naruto-kun came out of the Hall of Memories!" Farore exclaimed before bringing the blond into a tight hug as Obito chuckled lightly.
Konoha, street
Chilly was walking through a street in Konoha while reading the book that she'd borrowed from the library earlier in the day, all the while giggling perversely.
"I can't believe that you're actually into that stuff." Terra said as he came up behind her.
"I don't want to hear that from you." Chilly said.
"Hey, I'm a feminist, not a pervert." Terra said.
"There's a difference?" Chilly asked.
"Terra-san, Chilly-san." Ray said as he appeared in a bolt of lightning.
"Ray." Chilly said.
"What is it?" Terra asked.
"Agahnim-sensei has called us to a meeting." Ray said.
"A meeting?" Terra asked as he and Chilly looked at each other, both wondering what the meeting could be about.
Konoha, Tani-nin rooms
When the three of them had gotten to their rooms, they found Ventus, Flare, and Aqua there as well.
"What are you guys doing here?" Chilly asked.
"Vaati-sensei called us in for a meeting." Ventus said.
"Yeah! So what are you three doing here?" Flare asked.
"We were summoned by Agahnim-sensei for the same purpose." Terra said.
"So there's something that they want to tell all of us?" Aqua asked.
"Must be. And it seems that we'll soon find out what it is." Ray said just before Vaati and Agahnim entered the room, but Ventus' eyes widened when Orochimaru came into the room as well.
"Orochimaru!" He said as powerful winds started blowing around him before he turned to Vaati "What's the meaning of this?"
"You know who that person is, Ventus-kun?" Aqua asked, and Ventus nodded.
"He's the one who gave me to Ganondorf-sama." He said.
"I know about your strong hatred for this man, Ventus. But I would like if you could put them aside for now." Vaati said.
"Ganondorf-sama has decided to enter into a temporary alliance with the shinobi villages of Otogakure and Sunagakure." Agahnim said.
"An alliance? What for?" Chilly asked.
"To finally crush Konoha." Agahnim said, causing various reactions in the Genin. Ventus clenched his fists in slight anger, Terra closed his eyes in regret of what he might end up doing, Flare became excited, Chilly became giddy, apparently looking forward to it, and Ray was indifferent.
But Aqua was the one who took it the worst as she remembered the time that she spent with Sakura and the others before seeing an image of when she and Sakura held hands to wish each other good-luck in the finals in her mind, and suddenly, it was almost as though a sword had cut through the middle in-between them.
Naruto's Mindscape, Kurama's cage
Naruto came into a large room which was split in two by humongous metal bars in the middle. The boy looked up to see the seal on one of the bars.
"That must be the seal. So I'm supposed to remove that?" He asked himself before walking over to the bars, and when he reached them, he asked "How am I supposed to get up there?"
"Hmm? Naruto, what a surprise to see you come in here on your own." Kurama said from behind the cage as he first noticed the boy.
"Oh, hi Kurama." Naruto said.
"Tsk. What do you want, kid? You're not getting any of my power if that's what you want." Kurama said.
"That's strange, cause you seemed awfully willing to do just that when I was eaten by that plant." Naruto said.
"That's just because Farore came and told me to help you." Kurama said.
"Ahh… So you have a soft spot for Farore-chan, have you?" Naruto asked teasingly, causing Kurama to blush.
"O-of course not! It's just that she's a Goddess, so I didn't have a choice in the matter." Kurama said.
"Well, anyway. How do I get up to that?" Naruto asked as he pointed at the seal.
"You want to get up to the seal? What are you plotting?" Kurama asked as he narrowed his eyes.
"Ah, well. I'm here to try and gain control over your chakra, Kurama." Naruto said with his trademark foxy-grin as he scratched the back of his head.
"You think you can get control over my powers, Naruto?" Kurama asked.
"Hey, a guy can always dream, can't he?" Naruto asked.
"Well, if you really want to die, and be the cause for your village's destruction, I won't stop you. This is your mindscape, kid, everything's yours to control." Kurama said.
"Really?" Naruto asked before a ladder suddenly appeared before him, and he climbed up it before reaching the sealing tag, and he ripped it off.
Kurama then grinned as he burst through the gate, sending Naruto flying back as all of the walls in the sewer-like area collapsed, turning it into a seemingly never-ending field of knee-high water as Naruto landed in said water.
"You better be prepared, Naruto." Kurama said before lashing out with his right front-paw, but Naruto instinctively leapt backwards.
(Boss #9: Kyubi no Kitsune, Kurama.)
Naruto then held his hands in the Kage Bunshin hand sign before two other Naruto's appeared, and they all charged at Kurama.
"Naruto-kun. In order to gain control over Kurama-kun's powers, you need to grab onto his chakra and pull it out of him. However, you can only grab chakra with chakra." Came Farore's voice.
'Grab chakra with chakra? How do I do that?' Naruto thought.
He didn't get much time to think about it, however, as Kurama's cheeks suddenly puffed up before the fox fired out a powerful flame. Naruto and one of his clones managed to dodge it, but the other clone disappeared in a puff of smoke as the flames hit him.
'That's strange. How come I suddenly thought that the flames were about to hit me?' The original Naruto thought before thinking 'I can't worry about that now.'
Both Naruto's then drew their respective tanto as said one tanto was covered in wind while the other one was covered in earth. Kurama then brought his right front-paw down on the original, but he blocked it with the tanto, as the earth covering the blade formed into a shield. The clone then jumped up, and cut through Kurama's leg, causing him to wince in pain as the original threw his leg away before jumping up and delivering a downward-strike to Kurama's nose.
However, Kurama then simply blew Naruto away by sending a gust of wind out from his nose. The blond then crashed into his clone, dispelling it, before crashing down on the ground before he bounced a few meters along it.
"Do you see now how futile your struggle is? Even if you have the Triforce of Courage, you're never gonna win." Kurama said before raising his head as blue and red particles started coming together before forming a black sphere. Kurama then ate said sphere before spitting it at Naruto at a high speed.
Naruto then closed his eyes as he hid his face behind his arms, waiting for the massive ball of condensed chakra to hit him, but nothing happened. And when he opened his eyes to look, he saw his mother standing there, holding out her right hand as the Bijudama was sucked into some kind of sealing formula. It then appeared somewhere behind them and blew up.
"K-kaa-san!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Kushina!" Kurama yelled in anger.
"You're wrong, Kurama. The Triforce of Courage is Naruto's key to victory in this fight. Dattebane!" Kushina said.
"Kaa-san, where'd you come from?" Naruto asked.
"You know who I am? Did jiji tell you?" Kushina asked as she looked over her shoulder at Naruto, who shook his head.
"Iie. I took a wrong turn back there, and ended up in this room with all these doors which led to moments from my past. And one of these doors led me to when I was first born." Naruto said.
"I see. So you know all of what happened that day?" Kushina asked.
"Not quite, but I've got a rough idea." Naruto said.
"Well, then. In that case, I can use most of the time Minato gave me with you to help you win this fight. Dattebane!" Kushina said.
"Alright, thanks. Dattebayo!" Naruto said as he moved up beside his mother.
""Dattebayo", huh? You really are my son." Kushina said before weaving a series of hand signs "Fuinjutsu: Te!" Her hands the started glowing before holding out her right hand "Take my hand, Naruto." Naruto did as told, and suddenly his hands started glowing too "It's an Uzumaki clan Fuinjutsu which increases one's physical strength."
The two of them then charged at Kurama as Naruto said "Alright, you stinking fox, show me what you've got! Dattebayo!"
Kurama then brought his right front-paw down on Kushina, but she stopped in her charge before holding her arms up as she pushed against the giant hand-like paw.
"Naruto! Hurry!" Kushina said.
Naruto then leapt into the air before delivering a punch to the Biju's nose that was so hard, it sent him skidding backwards.
Kurama then prepared to fire another Bijudama, but Kushina intervened.
"Oh, no, you don't!" She said before launching chains of chakra from her body and wrapping them around the Biju's neck before bringing its head down onto the ground.
Naruto had then gotten behind the huge creature as he grabbed one of his tails before flinging him over on his back.
The blond then made his chakra come out of him, and it grabbed Kurama's chakra before pulling it towards him, making the battle into a chakra tug-of-war.
As Naruto pulled he was cheered on and encouraged by his mother until nearly all of Kurama's chakra had entered him.
"Y-you…!" Kurama said before he formed another Bijudama.
"You still have that much power? Wow, you really are incredible." Naruto said before raising his hand and bringing it down, causing some kind of wooden gate to fall down on Kurama's neck, sending his head to the ground before others came down until a large cage had formed. (Kurama no Kyubi: I don't really know what to call those things that come down there, so could anyone tell me, please?)
'This is the Rikudo's… Naruto, you…' Kurama thought before losing consciousness.
"I… I did it. Dattebayo!" Naruto said.
"Good job, Naruto. Dattebane!" Kushina said as she walked over to her son.
"Kaa-san… heh heh." Naruto said as he showed his foxy-grin.
"What is it?" Kushina asked.
"Oh. I just thought how cool it was to fight alongside you." Naruto said, causing Kushina to blush.
"R-really?" Kushina asked.
"By the way, kaa-san. You were Kurama's Jinchuriki before me, right?" Naruto asked.
"Yes, that's right." Kushina said.
"How'd you endure it?" Naruto asked.
"Well, for one thing, almost no one knew. Plus, before I was made the Jinchuriki, the one who was the Jinchuriki before me, Mito-sama, told me that no matter how hard things got, as long as I had love, I would make it." Kushina said before turning to Naruto "Tell me, Naruto. Do you have someone that you love?"
"Yeah." Naruto said before thinking of all of his friends "My teammates, Kakashi-sensei, jiji, Iruka-sensei, Teuchi-ossan, Tekashi-san, all my friends…" He then thought of Farore "And… Farore-chan."
"Hmm… "Farore-chan", huh? So my boy went and got himself a Goddess, did he?" Kushina asked while winking at her son, causing Naruto to blush heavily.
"Uhh… Well, you see…" Naruto said as the blush only deepened.
"Well, as much as I'd love to spend more time with you, you should probably return to the outside world and tell them the good news." Kushina said.
"But I want to talk to you more." Naruto said.
"Don't worry. It seems Farore-sama has made it possible for me to remain here." Kushina said before looking at Kurama "Besides, I've got something to talk to old grumpy over there about."
"All right. See ya later, then. Dattebayo!" Naruto said.
"Yeah. Dattebane!" Kushina said.
Konoha, Memorial Stone Training Field
Naruto then opened his eyes before looking around to see that Obito, Navi, and Dimitri where there, but there was no sign of Farore.
"Naruto-san, how'd it go?" Obito asked as Navi and Dimitri jumped at the blond, hugging him.
"I did it! Dattebayo!" Naruto said, causing Obito to smile "By the way, where's Farore-chan?"
"She went back to her apartment, saying that she had a reward for you when you returned." Obito said.
"Oh, okay." Naruto said.
Konoha, outside Naruto's apartment
When Naruto had returned to where his apartment was, he told Navi and Dimitri to get in, and that he'd come over after receiving Farore's reward.
"Alright. See ya tomorrow." Navi joked as she rode Dimitri into the apartment, leaving a blushing Naruto.
The blond then walked over to the next apartment before knocking on the door.
"Come in." Came Farore's voice, and Naruto entered the apartment before closing the door behind him, and he walked through the apartment to see that it was a mirrored version of his own, and when he came to Farore's room, his eyes widened as he saw that she was lying on her bed, stark naked.
"Like what you see?" She asked, causing Naruto to get a nose-bleed before she grabbed the blond's collar and pulled him down onto her.
During the next few weeks, Naruto trained in mastering control over Kurama's massive chakra with the help of Obito, Farore, and Kushina. And in the end, there was only one day left till the finals.
"Alright, that's enough for today." Obito said after a long training session.
"Nani? But we're not… done training… yet…" Naruto said while panting heavily.
"Yes, we are done. You need to get some rest before tomorrow, or else you won't even make it past the first round." Obito said.
"Come on, Naruto-kun. Just take the rest of the day off." Farore said.
"A-alright. Hey, Farore-chan, what do you say to go and grab some dinner?" Naruto asked as he looked at the Goddess.
"Hmm? You mean as in a date?" The Goddess asked.
"Umm… Yeah." Naruto said.
"YAY!" Farore said before grabbing Naruto's arm, and dragging him along with her "Let's hurry over to Ichiraku, then."
Konoha, Suna-nin rooms
In the Suna team's room was Gaara staring out of the window before he suddenly felt a stinging pain in the back of his right hand. The pain then increased as he started grunting in pain while looked down on his hand as a mark was suddenly burned into it. The mark looked like the Yin-Yang symbol except for the fact that it was bronze colored. Gaara had seen it before… on the back of his father's right hand.

Bio: Having been born to Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina the day of the Kyubi attack, Naruto became the third Jinchuriki of said beast. Because of this, his life wasn't too great; people would always stare at him with hate-filled eyes, and he was even thrown out of the orphanage at age 4. But despite all this, Naruto strived towards finding peoples' recognition, and one day becoming the next Hokage. And due to his great determination for this, Farore – the Goddess of Courage – became to like the boy a lot, and even saw it fit to have the Triforce of Courage awaken within him. After graduating from the academy, Naruto finally got to get some friends, and his journey towards gaining everyone's recognition began.
Kurama no Kyubi: Looks like Naruto finally got himself laid. If anyone wants me to add a Lemon scene into this chapter, then say so, and I'll probably update it. Also, if anyone thinks that their under-age, then Farore's already proved them wrong in this same chapter. Now it seems that the finals will finally get underway, so stay tuned. But before that, what does that vision that Farore gave Shikamaru mean, and does it indicate that he's got some part in the legend as well.
