Kurama no Kyubi: Now we've finally reached the semi-finals of the Chunin Exam finals, and it'll start off with the battle between Naruto and Ray, I wonder who'll win.
Guest: well you should still include the history of the events of majora's mask considering the fact that you've brought two character from that game into your story I.E. tatl and tael.
Kurama no Kyubi: Well, they're not really the same Tatl and Tael, those two died a long time ago. But I do see what you mean, and I'll probably do it, especially considering that I am planning on adding more characters from that game.
Guest: well I'd say that in the next fight naruto does have the advantage elementally but considering the fact that ventus managed to overcome sasuke's fire style techniques I'd say that this fight isn't going to be a cakewalk for naruto but still I won't count our gutsy protagonist who' to legit too quit.
Kurama no Kyubi: Elemental advantage doesn't really count for much when fighting the Tani-nins.
ImagineBreaker7: Awesome chapter you seem to like to surprising people don't you? Now you brought back Nawaki? I wonder what Tsunade will think of this? I am going to guess that in the next chapter Naruto will use Kurama's chakra agains Ray. I can't wait to see how that fight will turn out.
Kurama no Kyubi: Well, the look on Tsunade's face's gonna be priceless, too bad none of us will see it, though.
Naruto Obito Halliwell Uzumaki: Great job with this chapter, It is nice to see Nawaki alive. I know you most likely won't use it but it would be cool to see the Black Tower and The Temple of Seasons from the Zelda Oracle of Ages and Zelda Oracle of Seasons.
Kurama no Kyubi: Well, I never really got all that far in the Oracle games, so I don't know about the Black Tower, but I might find a way to put in the Temple of Seasons.
Dark Mello: Great chapter and around good story. I must say I was surprise to see Nawaki back even more that he had the wood release. I cant help but wonder who the other Angels are going to be. I remember in one of your reviews where someone was trying to guess the wood sage. I'm guessing Yamato seeing as he can use the wood release too? Or are you going to keep it kind of cannonish and have it be a girl...at least i think most forest sages are girls. Anyways as far as the werefox form that 'guest' keeps suggesting you could always have him unlock it when he tries to learn the tail beast mode. In the manga/anime there is a small chibi form he takes on for all of two seconds. Just something to consider.
Kurama no Kyubi: Good idea with the Werefox, but I would rather have him master it before that point since that's almost at the end of Shippuden. And besides, I've already decided on Naruto mastering it during the time-skip.
Eternal Dragon Keeper21: Awesome chapter as always, but which chapter are you gonna have the invasion start, and are we going to find out who are the other 4 members of the 7 angels of purgatory are, and are we gonna find out who the other sages are in this story?
Kurama no Kyubi: All of the other Sages will be revealed in the final arc of this story, and you will learn of two of the others of the Angels of Purgatory in the next few chapters during the invasion.
Guest: aren't you going to add vula the red dragon from the legend of zelda the wind waker I mean since you've added jabu-jabu to the mix also you should get naruto and his teammate to search for the pearls of there respective goddess's as a means of growing stronger.
Kurama no Kyubi: Don't worry, I'm going to add all of the different Guardian Spirits of Hyrule, including Valoo.

Chapter 21: God's Thunderstorm: Naruto vs Ray!
"So you're Ganondorf, huh?" Naruto asked as a smile crept onto his face "That's perfect." He then drew his sword and charged at the Gerudo while yelling "Then I can just defeat you here and now!"
A blade of wind formed out of Naruto's tanto before he swung the blade at Ganondorf, but suddenly a purple barrier with dark-red edges formed in front of the Gerudo and the sword just bounced off. The barrier then vanished as a shockwave was sent towards the blond, sending him flying backwards before Kiba caught him.
"Whoa, Naruto!" Kiba said.
"Naruto-kun." Hinata said before she and Kiba looked at Ganondorf with narrowed eyes.
"Who is that guy?" Kiba asked before observing Naruto, who was now covered in wounds 'He did this much damage to Naruto without even breaking a sweat.'
"I'm not here to fight, Naruto-kun." Ganondorf said.
"Then why are you here?" Naruto asked as he got to his feet and took a couple steps forward.
"I just wanted to meet the one who carries the Triforce of Courage, face-to-face." Ganondorf said.
'What's the "Triforce of Courage"?' Kiba thought.
"Well, now you have, so what do you want?" Naruto asked, and Ganondorf smiled.
"What I want? I want to see you dead. So that I can take that Triforce piece you have." Ganondorf said.
"Then why don't you just kill me and get it over with?" Naruto asked.
"Heh. There's no need." Ganondorf said.
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked.
"Your match is hopeless, no one can beat Ray, he is my ultimate weapon." Ganondorf said.
"You'd call one of your own men a "weapon"? You make me sick!" Naruto said.
"Oh, I assure you. In his case, it is quite appropriate." Ganondorf said.
"He's a Hylian, not a weapon!" Naruto yelled.
"Oh? I wouldn't be so sure." Ganondorf said.
Naruto then got ready to attack him again, but Kiba beat him to the punch as Akamaru transformed into a copy of him, and the both of them shot towards Ganondorf like a pair of drills.
"Gatsuuga!" Kiba called out, but then, Ganondorf just grabbed them both by the neck with his right hand before throwing them to the floor as Akamaru turned back to his original form.
Hinata then activated her Byakugan before charging at him and delivering a palm strike to his stomach, however, he didn't even react to it before he simply kneed her in the gut, and snapped his index finger at her forehead, sending her flying backwards.
"Ah! Kiba, Hinata!" Naruto said before Kiba rose to his feet.
"What's with this guy? He grabbed us while we were using the Gatsuuga. How's that even possible?" He asked as Naruto looked over his shoulder at Hinata who was lying on the floor, unconscious before looking back at Ganondorf.
"And he even took a direct hit from Hinata's Juken strike without flinching." Naruto said.
"You're no match for me as you are now, and since Ray's your next opponent, you will never be a match for me." Ganondorf said.
"Ganondorf!" A voice said from behind him, and he turned around to see Farore standing there with Sasuke and Sakura.
"Ah! Farore, the Goddess of Courage, I presume." Ganondorf said, causing Kiba's eyes to widen.
"Leave!" Farore said in a demanding tone which Naruto had never heard from her before.
"Well, I was just about to take my leave, anyway." Ganondorf said before turning around to look at Naruto "Perhaps we'll meet again sometime, Naruto-kun. Though you must first beat Ray, which is impossible." He then walked away while laughing.
"Are you all right, Naruto-kun?" Farore asked as she walked over to Naruto.
"Yeah. I am now." Naruto said before Farore proceeded to heal his wounds as Hinata woke up.
"What… happened?" She asked.
"That guy knocked you out." Kiba said as he helped his teammate stand.
"Hey, Naruto-nii-san!" Came Konohamaru's voice as he and the others came over just as Farore got done healing the blond.
"Konohamaru?" Naruto asked as he looked towards the four "What are you guys doing here?"
"Our entire class came here to watch the finals." Udon said.
"Oh? Really?" Naruto asked.
"You were so cool during your battle against that Neji!" Konohamaru said.
"Well, Naruto-kun. Are these here more of your fans?" Farore asked, catching the children's attention.
'Naruto's got fans? When in the world did that happen?' Kiba thought.
"Are you Naruto-nii-san's girlfriend? Whoa, you look like a Goddess." Moegi said, causing Farore to chuckle at how close to the truth that actually was.
"The name's Farore." She said.
""Farore"? That sounds familiar." Moegi said in thought.
"What do you mean, Moegi-chan?" Udon asked as he looked at the girl.
"I don't know. I just have the feeling that I've heard that name somewhere before." Moegi said.
"Hmm… Now that you mention it, so do I." Konohamaru said.
"That's strange. I've got the same feeling." Inari said.
"Farore-chan?" Naruto asked as he looked at his girlfriend, having a feeling that she knew what was going on.
"Oh! That reminds me." The green-haired Goddess said before looking at her blond boyfriend "Naruto-kun, I ran into someone outside of the arena earlier, he said something about wanting to see you. He might also have something that could help you win against your next opponent."
"Really?" Naruto said, and Farore nodded "I'll see you all later, then." He then ran off.
"Hey, Naruto-nii-san, where are you going?" Inari yelled.
Participant box
Ray was still standing in the participant box as he waited for his match with Naruto. As he looked over the destroyed battlefield, he recalled something that happened many years ago, even before he met Terra and the others.
Flashback
A 6 year old Ray was standing on the cliff over the Tanikage mountain faces, and in front of him was a small red reptilian creature with wings. There was also one more person there, a woman who was enshrouded in a blinding light that was sitting on a nearby rock.
"A baby dragon?" Ray asked curiously before looking at the woman "Why give me such an easy opponent?"
"Ray-kun, you must never underestimate a foe, no matter how strong or how weak they are." The woman said.
"But it's just a baby dragon." Ray said as he looked back at the reptile before said reptile suddenly jumped up and bit Ray's arm, causing the boy to fall down on his rear-end "Itai, itai! It's got my arm!"
"Heh heh heh." The woman laughed before holding out her right hand, and a light suddenly shot out and sent the dragon flying. She then rose to her feet and walked over to the boy, who was rubbing his arm where the dragon had bit him "Remember, Ray-kun, even a cornered rat would bite a cat."
She then leaned down and helped Ray get back to his feet before pushing the boy towards the dragon, who had managed to regain his balance.
"Now, try again, Ray-kun." Ray then took a few steps forward before he gathered static electricity in his left hand. He then charged at the dragon before delivering a palm-strike to its right side.
"Electrical Discharge!" The dragon then went limp and fell down as Ray stood up and looked down at it "I kinda feel sorry for him."
"Yes, but all creatures has to die sometime, that's just how life is. It might be sad, but there's nothing we can do about it. Even the Gods can't escape this fate." The woman said as she walked over to Ray.
"Maybe, but I still think that it's sad." Ray said as he looked at the woman, who then stopped before him before smiling down at him.
"Ray-kun, if there's something you've set your mind to, then do it. If you're gonna talk, then talk, if you're gonna fight, then fight. Just remember that your actions could affect the state of the whole world." She said, deciding to change the subject.
"My actions could affect the whole world?" Ray asked, and the woman nodded.
"That's right. You see, you've got a special power that no one else in the world has." The woman said.
"You're talking about my lightning powers?" Ray asked.
"Well, yes and no. Right now, there are two other people in the village with similar powers to your own, but I still chose you to be my disciple for now. Do you know why?" The woman asked, and Ray shook his head "It's because, you are a very special boy."
Flashback end
'Luna-sama… I will show you just how strong I've gotten from your training.' Ray thought.
Konoha, arena grounds
Outside the arena – on the arena grounds – was Naruto walking around, trying to find the one who'd Farore had said wanted to meet him. There was just one problem… he'd forgotten to ask what the man looked like.
"Hey, are you Naruto?" Naruto then turned around to see an old man with long white hair, who had a huge scroll and a shield on his back.
"Huh? Are you the one that Farore-chan told me about?" Naruto asked.
"That's right. Women adores me, men wants to be me! I am the great Gama-Sennin of Mount Myouboku, the legendary, Jiraiya!" Jiraiya said as he did a series of weird poses.
"How lame. What are you? Some kind of pervert?" Naruto asked.
"How rude. I'm not just a normal pervert, I'm… a mega pervert!" Jiraiya exclaimed the last part.
"Uh-huh… So what do you want, Ero-Sennin?" Naruto asked as he crossed his arms over his chest, causing Jiraiya's eyebrow to twitch at the nickname while Naruto could hear his mother laughing like a maniac within his mind, and he could be wrong, but he could've sworn that he felt Kurama give a slight chuckle.
"Well, you know that Ray guy you're going to fight, right?" Jiraiya asked.
"Yeah, what about him?" Naruto asked.
"If you're going to fight him, then you're going to need a shield. Take this." Jiraiya said before grabbing the shield on his back and throwing it over to Naruto, who caught it, and looked at it with a raised eyebrow.
"A shield?" Naruto asked.
"That's right. It'll be of great help to you during this fight." Jiraiya said.
"I don't see how a wooden shield's going to help." Naruto said as he looked at the mega perv.
"Wait, Naruto!" He heard his mother's voice.
'Kaa-san?' Naruto thought in surprise.
"That's an Uzumaki Shield, it's inscribed with powerful Fuinjutsu which makes it unbreakable. There's also only seven of them in existence, you're very lucky to be in possession of one. I wonder how Jiraiya-sensei came across it." Kushina said.
"Alright, then. I'll take it." Naruto said out loud after some thought.
"Hmm? What happened to change your mind, kid?" Jiraiya asked, having been under the impression that Naruto didn't want the shield.
"Oh, well… I just thought the design on the shield was pretty cool. It's the same as the mark on my back, see?" Naruto said as he turned around to show the Uzumaki clan crest on his back to Jiraiya.
"Indeed, it is. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to leave." Jiraiya said before walking off as Naruto looked after him before returning to the arena.
Tree-tops outside the village
In the tree-tops outside of the village where four people. One of them was obviously Veran, who was standing on the tip of a tree, another was Koume, who was sitting on her broom, another was a man clad from head-to-toe in heavy armor, who was standing on a thick branch, and finally was the woman from Ray's flashback, who was sitting on the tip of a tree as though it was some kind of chair as she was holding a crystal ball which showed the arena.
"The hour is almost up, they should start with the next match soon." Koume said.
"So, Luna, who do you think will win? Your star pupil or the Kyubi?" Veran asked.
"It's gonna be a close match, but I fear that Ray might not be ready to take on a Jinchuriki." Luna said.
"You're forgetting that the bot still doesn't have any sort of mastery over his Biju's powers." Koume said.
"You may be wrong there, Koume-sama. Uzumaki Naruto-kun may still hold some surprises in store for us." Luna said before the armored man's head jerked slightly to the north.
"Someone's coming." He said before Kotake came on her broom.
"Kotake?" Koume asked.
"Weren't you supposed to take care of that brat, Kakashi? Or has he already been dealt with?" Veran asked.
"Sharingan-kun was saved by a group of unlikely people, two previously thought to be dead." Luna said.
"Nani? Why didn't you tell us?" Veran asked as she looked at the glowing blond.
"You never asked." Luna said.
"Who came to his aide?" The armored man asked.
"It was Kuroshi-kun, Obito-kun, and Nawaki-kun." Luna said.
"So two of them never even got any alias? I don't see how they could've been of any help." Veran said.
"Obito-kun and Nawaki-kun were both reported K.I.A before they could amount to anything, but they were both saved by the Goddess, Farore-sama." Luna said.
"It's true, I heard them mentioning her." Kotake said.
"The four of them are headed here right now, they could prove troublesome. Especially since all but one are Kekkei Genkai wielders." Luna said.
Konoha, arena, battlefield
The one hour brake was finally over as Naruto and Ray were in the now restored battlegrounds, seeing as though the witch, Syrup, had used her magic to restore it. The two 12 year olds were facing each other as they were standing in front of Genma.
"Are you both ready?" Genma asked.
"Yeah, I'm ready." Naruto said, and Genma looked over at Ray, who only nodded.
"Then… Hajime!" The Jonin said before jumping backwards.
"It would probably be best for you to back down, I'm even stronger than Flare-san." Ray said.
"Heh. You should never underestimate me. Dattebayo!" Naruto said.
"Who said I was? I saw how you won against Flare-san, and I'm quite aware that you must've gotten a lot stronger by now. I also know of the beast living in your belly. I would never underestimate someone like that. However, there's still the fact that you can't touch me, nor do you have a way defending yourself from my own attacks, so even if you win this battle, the cost may turn out to be too great." Ray said.
"Yeah, yeah. Are you done talking?" Naruto asked.
"Yes." Ray simply said.
(Boss #13: The walking thunderstorm, Ray.)
Naruto then grabbed his tanto and shield as he got ready to fight. However, before he got the chance to do anything, Ray appeared before him in a flash of lightning as he thrusted his left hand forward for a palm-strike.
"It's too late. Electrical Discharge!" Ray said, but then Naruto managed to move his shield in front of himself just in time to block Ray's attack, rendering it useless 'Nani?'
Ray then jumped backwards as he observed the shield while scanning it with his sensory skills before thinking 'The shield is full of Fuinjutsu seals! To think I didn't notice that earlier… So he does have a way of defending himself from my attacks, after all.'
"Tsuchi Sosa: Whip!" Naruto called out, swinging his sword as a whip of earth came out of the blade before he caught Ray's left wrist. He then swung the sword-turned-whip, causing Ray to crash into the wall of the arena before being dragged along it, and he was then finally thrown towards the wall on the opposite end of the battleground.
He managed to regain his balance in mid-air before landing on the wall, and kicking off of it, causing him to shoot towards Naruto at the speed of lightning. However, Naruto reacted quickly enough as he activated Farore's Wind and jumped out of the way as a second later, Ray crashed into the opposite wall.
"Whoa. That was a close one." Naruto said as Ray put his feet on the ground.
"Your Goddess girlfriend saved you by giving you some of her powers, but you can't hope to win against me that easily." He said.
"I weren't planning on that." Naruto said before adding "But then again, seeing as I have the affinity for wind, that would give me an advantage over you, elementally."
"Well, you've got a point there. But unfortunately, I'm not your average Raiton user. In fact, I'm not even using Raiton techniques." Ray said.
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked.
"My techniques are from a much higher family of lightning techniques. They're even higher than the Kekkei Genkai, Ranton. Do you understand what I mean?" Ray said, and when Naruto didn't respond, he said "This is the power of the Gods!"
""The power of the Gods"?" Naruto asked skeptically.
Ray then weaved a series of hand signs which Naruto didn't recognize; first it was one that looked like the tora sign, except that it was the pinky and middle fingers that were pointing up, then there was one in which he had his hands clasped together with the index fingers pointing up… or rather, pointing down, then there was one in which he held his arms extended towards Naruto with the palms out, and the wrists touching, and the fingers were all pointing straight out.
Then an electric-blue ring appeared around his elbows before a smaller one appeared around his wrists, and then one appeared around his hands, seemingly tracing a line in-between his fingertips. Then the was a small one that appeared several inches in front of his palms before some kind of silvery energy seemed to pass through the arms.
"Thunder Wave!" Ray called out, and a wave of thunder bolts was sent towards Naruto.
"Oh, great. I doubt this shield can defend me from all of those." Naruto said before he used the speed given to him by Farore's Wind to quickly run out of the way, and he made it just in time.
Ray then grabbed his Lightning Rod and threw it at Naruto, hitting the blond's tanto so hard that it fell out of said blond's hand as the Lightning Rod was propelled into the air by the impact. Then – before Naruto could react – Ray appeared right in front of him, so that he couldn't possibly defend himself with his shield.
"Electrical Discharge!" Ray called out, hitting Naruto in the gut just before Ray's Lightning Rod landed in the middle of the battleground as Ray jumped over to the other end of the battleground. Naruto, however, found that he was unable to move as electricity continued to course through his body, though he was still standing.
"You're probably wondering why you weren't knocked down by that, aren't you? The Electrical Discharge is more of a paralysis technique, though if I were to use it on someone very young, it could prove fatal. The reason why Kankuro-san was knocked down was because of the speed I slammed my hand into him with. As for Aqua-san, well, since she's more or less a walking puddle of water, my attack would have a much greater effect on her." Ray explained before adding "Now then, I say it's time to finish this."
He then started weaving another series of unknown hand signs; starting with one that looked like the tori sign except that all of the fingers were standing up, and the thumbs were pointing in the direction of Naruto, the second sign looked like the hitsuji sign except that while the left hand was pointing up, the right one was pointing down, and finally he held out both arms towards Naruto with the right hand above the left one as the index and middle fingers of his right hand was pointing up, and the index and pinky fingers of his left hand was pointing down. (Kurama no Kyubi: Anyone who can figure out where I've got that last one from, deserves a cookie. Note that the others are self-made.)
What sounded like roaring thunder could then be heard as many people looked up to see clouds gathering in the sky as bolts of lightning traveled between them.
"Raijin lvl 10!" Ray called out just before a large bolt of lightning shot down; covering the entire battlefield as chunks of earth could be seen being blown off the ground and into the air before getting destroyed by the lightning.
Stands, Konohamaru and the others
"Naruto-nii-san!" Moegi yelled.
"Think he could've survived that?" Udon asked.
"What are you saying? There's no way Naruto-nii-san could've been killed by something like that!" Inari yelled as he rose to his feet.
Kaiza then looked from the corner of his eyes to see Zabuza and Haku sitting on a pair of seats a few rows down on the other side of the stairs, and he rose to his feet.
"Kaiza?" Tsunami asked.
"Sorry, but there's something that I've got to check." Kaiza said before walking past his wife and the kids before continuing towards Zabuza and Haku. When he reached them, he saw that the seat next to Zabuza was empty, so he sat down.
"It's an intense fight, isn't it?" He asked.
"Yes. I have to admit that your former village has some unique shinobi." Zabuza said.
"Did you meet with Luna-san?" Kaiza asked, making sure to keep his voice so low that no one but him and Zabuza could hear him.
"Yes, we did." Zabuza said, keeping his own voice at the same volume.
"What did she tell you?" Kaiza asked.
"Something that I doubt you'll like." Zabuza said.
Stands, Farore and the others
"Naruto-kun…" Hinata said.
"This battle's over, there's no way that Naruto could've survived that." Kotetsu said.
"Yeah. Even a Jonin would be hard-pressed to survive it. Naruto didn't just lose, he died." Izumo said.
'"Died"? There's no way Naruto could've kicked the bucket from something like that! Come on Naruto, you can do this, I know you can!' Kiba thought.
Stands, Syrup and Maple
"Hmph! And after I went into all that trouble of restoring that battlefield too!" Syrup said as Maple looked up at her.
'Eh… Is she sulking?' She thought.
Kage box
'Heh. I told you, brat. No one can defeat Ray.' Ganondorf said.
Battlefield
"This battle's over." Ray said before his eyes widened as he sensed a powerful chakra.
The lightning bolt then faded to reveal a heavily damaged battleground which was filled with cracks, almost like a dry desert. There was of course still much electricity flowing around just above the ground. But what caught everyone's attention the most was the fact that Naruto stood there, seemingly unharmed as a dome of red chakra surrounded him.
Upon closer inspections, Ray also noticed that Naruto's eyes were now red and slitted, his canines had grown into fangs, his nails had lengthened into claws, and his whiskers had gotten thicker. Ray then noticed that Naruto had indeed been injured by the attacked, but his wounds were… healing themselves?
The chakra then condensed around the blond to form a cloak which looked like a fox.
Kage box
"Hokage-dono, what is the meaning of this? It's alright for your Jinchuriki compete, but mine can't?" The Kazekage asked.
"Settle down, Kazekage-dono. This is the Hokage's village, after all. Let him do as he pleases. Though I must say that I'm surprised, I didn't expect such a young boy to have such control over his Biju's chakra." Ganondorf said.
"Yes, this came as a surprise to me to." Hiruzen said.
Battlefield
Naruto then went down on all four like a fox before vanishing, and shortly afterwards, he appeared in front of Ray before slashing with his claws, but Ray managed to dodge it barely before jumping back. He then landed with his feet on the wall before he shot himself towards the Jinchuriki.
However, Naruto was able to dodge it, and as Ray landed on the wall on the opposite end, the blond thrusted his right arm forward, causing the chakra arm to shoot towards Ray, but the Tani-nin easily dodged it.
"Lightning Shuriken!" Ray called out as he fired off a bunch of shuriken-looking lightning towards Naruto, however the blond just roared, and the attack was dispelled.
"This power… it is…!" Ray said before Naruto sent his arm towards him again, though he once again managed to dodge it. And this time, he charged towards his Lightning Rod before pulling it up as he ran past it, and he pointed it at Naruto before a lightning bolt shot at the blond, sending him into the wall.
"You might have some control over your Biju's powers, but that doesn't mean that I can't beat you." Ray said.
"Is that so?" Naruto asked as he got to his feet and hands before a second tail suddenly grew out.
'Nani?' Ray thought in surprise before Naruto vanished and reappeared right in front of him.
This time he wasn't able to dodge it, so he was sent flying into the wall. He then got to his feet before preparing the Thunder Wave again, but as he had just gotten done with the hand signs, Naruto was gone. He then looked from the corner of his eyes to see that Naruto was in the air beside him, ready to kick him, and that's exactly what he did, sending the silver-haired Genin flying before he crashed into the ground.
Ray then rose to his feet again and turned around to attempt another attack, but then he saw the blond smirk as a third tail came out, causing Ray's eyes to widen.
"Still think you can win?" Naruto asked.
Ray then smiled before raising his hand, and his next words surprised all of the other Tani Genin "I give up."
Many of the Konoha ninja then tensed up, expecting Naruto to go on a rampage – something they've been expecting since the blond started using the Biju's chakra – but then, the chakra cloak vanished before Naruto's appearance turned back to normal.
Ray then walked over to Naruto before holding out his hand "That was a good match, Naruto-sama."
'Where'd the "Sama" come from?' Naruto thought before he took Ray's hand while saying "Yeah."
"The winner is Uzumaki Naruto!" Genma announced, and everyone in the audience started cheering.

'Ray only refers to those he respects as "sama". You must've really impressed him, Courage Boy.' Ventus thought as he looked down at the two shaking hands.
Battlefield
Soon after had the next two competitors – Sakura and Temari – come down, and were now facing each other.
"You can do it, Sakura-chan! Dattebayo!" Naruto yelled from the participant box.
"Are you ready?" Genma asked.
"Yes, I'm ready." Sakura said.
"Me too." Temari said.
"Then… Hajime!" Genma said.
Temari then waved her fan, intending to end this battle quickly, but Sakura leapt out of the wind's reach before drawing her sword and slashing it through the air, causing a crescent-shaped wave of energy to shoot towards Temari.
Temari blocked it with her fan, however, before she was about to wave it again, but then she noticed that Sakura was nowhere to be seen. She then looked up to see the pinkette coming down with a downward slash at her.
Temari managed to block the slash with her fan, but Sakura pushed her to the ground, and before Temari knew it, she found the tip of Sakura's blade at her throat.
"The winner is Haruno Sakura!" Genma announced, and everyone in the audience started cheering.
Sakura then put her sword back in its sheathe before she walked back towards the stairs as Temari rose to her feet and followed her as she was going in the same direction.
"Next up is Uchiha Sasuke vs Gaara. Come on down, you two." Genma said, and Gaara simply just used a sand shunshin to get down as Sasuke jumped down.
"Heh. I've been waiting for this, Gaara." Sasuke said as he and Gaara faced each other in the middle of the battleground.
"So have I, Uchiha." Gaara said.

Bio: Asuma is the son of the Sandaime Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, so naturally great things were expected from him. However, after the Third Great Ninja War, he argued with his father, eventually leading him to leaving the village and becoming one of the Twelve Guardian Shinobi – twelve shinobi that answer directly to the Land of Fire's Daimyo. However, a coup was staged to overthrow the Daimyo by several of the members, and after a hard battle, Asuma ended up killing the leader of the coup, Kazuma. Seeing as there were only two members remaining, the Guardian Shinobi went their separate ways, and Asuma returned to Konoha where he eventually became the leader of team 10.
Kurama no Kyubi: Now we're finally approaching the end of the Chunin Exams, and after that it'll be the invasion. Will Kakashi and the others get back in time to warn them? Well, there's only one way to find out.
