Kurama no Kyubi: Now that all the Seven Reapers of Death save one has been defeated, it's time to move on to the battle between Naruto and Gaara. Oh, and this chapter actually starts at the point when Naruto first reached Gaara, just so you know.
Guest: well things are going quite crazy in this battle and it does seem that sasuke has maybe start moving away from the canon path but the ultimate test of his new found resolve will be his eventual encounter with ittachi.
Kurama no Kyubi: Yes, you're right. His real test will come when he runs into Itachi.
Guest: Great job with the chapter. Are any of Ninja going to learn magic?
Kurama no Kyubi: Yes, but only those that are required to due to certain plot elements.
Guest: so now naruto can summon Kurama? did he get himself a kitsune or fox summoning contract with Kurama being the boss summon? in other new the referance to fairy tale that you've made so far are erza sacrlet, etherion, darkness dragon slayer kaiza and usion raid by sasuke and Haku as for my suggestion as to mudura or somebody else giving naruto and his friends some lesson in the magic arts in terms of application and defense it is a major nesscessity if you wish for them to counter the magic users that they may have to face and cross swords with amongst Ganondorf's forces amongst other threats.
Kurama no Kyubi: There's actually one Fairy Tale reference that you forgot… well two counting the finale of the Erza vs Leo fight. Also some of the ninja are going to learn magic, but none of them will have the same teacher.
Guest: well it seems that neji will be potentially meeting with Naryu after his battle against ray but that fight is definately going to test all of neji's abilities to the very limit and beyond for with terra at least his element was the most tangible if not the hardest but he could at the very least be hit by neji whereas for ray well nji might as well by trying to hit a flea only said flea can slip through neji's grasp completely and ray isn't going to underestimate neji or cut him any slack thanks to the training he's recieved from Luna but what will neji discover in the deepest section of the library
Kurama no Kyubi: Something not meant to be found by anyone. Also, Neji won't be fighting Ray… not really, anyway.
Guest: as for my elmblem idea please do consider my suggestion as to where Naruto and his friends end up in tellius and my anko comic scene although if we're going for Naruto and his friends being a separate force to combat deain's force at least have them meeting up with ike's group to change a few variables in the war i.e. Greil's death (although he'll be left incapacitated for the entire war.)
Kurama no Kyubi: The only one of Naruto's friends who'll come with him will be Hinata, the others will be with the Greil Mercenaries. And don't worry, they will meet up at several points during the war, though Greil won't be incapacitated during all of it, he'll in fact meet up with the Crimean Liberation Army along with the Laguz, though he won't be fully recovered.
Guest: here's a crazy idea namely involving a Naruto/resident evil cross over which entails Naruto and team seven being assigned a new odd mission which naely involves them investigating rumours about strange creatures, disturbing disappearances and malicous murder's all centered around a seemingly innocent town so our hero commence their investigatation only to find out that they aren't the only one's who want to figure out just what in kami's good name is going on in this town namely in the form of the BSAA which consists of a team of hardened soldiers, chris redfield and Jill valentine who're investigating a possible new type of B.O.W. in this town and soon they encounter albert wesker and his new bio weapon which infects Naruto leaving our hero's to rush in finding a cure.
Kurama no Kyubi: Well I haven't played any Resident Evil games, so I'm afraid this wouldn't be possible. Though would a virus like this really have that much of an effect on a Jinchuriki?
Guest: here's another idea for a naruto cross over namely with god eater's burst it namely involves Naruto finding himself in the world of god eater's (I.E. it's an alternate world which has nothing to do with Naruto' s world's history whatsoever.) right after the conclusion of his fight against sasuke to try and convince him to come home he suddenly finds himself right in the midst of this world which has been devastated by the voracious aragami thus lead him to join the fenrir god eater's branch as one of their newest recruit's as a new type god eater and working with them in order to find a way back home once more whilst getting caught up in the main story of God eater's burst.
Kurama no Kyubi: While it does sound interesting, I'm afraid I've never played any God Eater games before, sorry.
Guest: here's another idea for a super x-over I don't suppose you've heard about or play project x zone now have you? well why don't you this idea out involving these worlds Naruto ,Fairy tail, god eater's burst, one piece, legend of Zelda, fire emblem, sonic the hedge hog, resident evil, street fighters, darkstalkers, devil may cry, tales of symphonia, tales of vesperia, shining force EXA, disgaea, star ocean, dark cloud and persona and it all starts with each world's hero's investigating strange occurring around their own worlds before finding themselves scattered across time and space before they start form an army with a common goal to save their own worlds from a danger which comes in the form of their own natural foes and an unknown third party whom intends to force the world into a union which will have devastating consequences for all world should saidn union come through and come to light.
Kurama no Kyubi: This is a good idea, and I wouldn't mind writing it, but there's just one small problem… I've never played God Eater, Resident Evil, Street Fighter (unless you count Street Fighter X Tekken), Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry (Though I've seen the Anime), Shining Force EXA, Disgaea, Star Ocean, Dark Cloud or Persona. Though when it comes to Project X Zone, I've gotten to just beyond the Tarqaron chapters in that game. If I can manage to find these games or bother in watching Walkthroughs of them, however, then I might write this story.
Guest: now here's an idea for a naruto\fairy tail cross over namely involving during some point in the finale of the sasuke retrieval arc right when Naruto's and sasuke strongest attacks collide Naruto awakens the power a magic beyond compare called soul dive which enable him to travel into the depth of just about anybody's soul and whilst there he can do something to maybe convince said person which in this case is friend sasuke that the path that he's traveling will end despair and thus give them a new found lease on life. but that isn't the only magic he has at his disposal their also the spell overtake which is sort of like the take over spell only this spell has two key differences for one thing the caster can choose to absorb some their target power in order to gain their form or go through with completely taking over their target which leaves some advantages and dis advantages for the caster of that spell namely is the spell is used to take some the target power to take that target's form and abilities it will lead the caster to have to learn how to get used to moving in that form effectively whilst complete take over means that the caster will have to deal with creature they've taken over personality and the risk of said persona taking over and the forms that I think naruto should gain are werewolf, dragon, lizard man and maybe a kitsune and the last bit of magic should be power over light and wind to protect and heal his friends whilst doing harm to his enemies so what do you think about that idea although it will mean that naruto will be spending three years of his training in fiore at the fairy tail guild.
Kurama no Kyubi: Not a bad idea, but I've already got two Naruto/Fairy Tail crossovers in mind and I'm not close to starting on either of them, so I don't think I'll get time to write your suggestion.
Guest: well it seems you've added a face to the face general of shadow Onox and one which seems to startle even the great demonic swordsman of the mist for I recall in the legend of Zelda series that onox had no face at all in the oracle of seasons arc namely in the manga or the game itself the guy was faceless and he only had to form of a dragon of shadows. speaking of which was kaiza raised and taught darkness dragon slayer magic by a dark dragon or is it the result of a dragon lacrima transplant operation involving a lacrima of that particular element and magic.
Kurama no Kyubi: Actually, Kaiza is a 4th Generation Dragon Slayer; he learned it all on his own.
Guest: think I can see why sasuke shouldn't use the technique he used whe he first awakened his triforce's power.
Kurama no Kyubi: It's not a technique.
Guest: here's an idea for a Naruto fanfiction which namely entails out favourite blonde protagonist 's recent success at overcoming mizuki after his revelation but our hero day doesn't end just yet for later that very night he receive and early encounter with his tenant kurama and the fox decide's to test our hero's dedication to following his dream by giving him the power to turn into a fox amongst other abilities which he'll later gain like kitsune-bi for instance please do consider this suggestion.
Kurama no Kyubi: I might.
Guest: here's an idea for a cross over have you heard about and/played the sly cooper game series and this cross over idea namely entails Naruto/sly cooper interms of our young blonde shinobi ending up in sly's with his rival sasuke as a result of the grand finale of their fight at the end of the sasuke retrieval arc which leads to both shinobi finding themselves in a whole new in in a whole new form whilst in that world such as Naruto becoming an anthromorphic wolf as for sasuke an anthromorphic hawk but both of them find themselves on near opposite sides of sly's world namely in terms of our blond hero ending up in paris right when sly is running from Carmelita fox as she's pursuing him and Naruto finds himself getting caught in the cross fire and as a result finds himself joining forces with sly and the rest of his gang to take down the fiendish five whilst trying to find a way for him to return home
Kurama no Kyubi: No, I've never played Sly Cooper, though I have heard of it and seen it in GameStop several times. But wouldn't it make more sense for Naruto to be an anthromorphic fox?
Guest: here's another idea for a Naruto crossover it happens to entails the the world of Jak and Daxter but of course with a few characters from Naruto's world in the story line namely our bold dlonde hero himself Naruto uzmaki the young beastgen as a brand new fiction race of humaniods who're mostly human albiet with a few animal traits (I.E. tails, ears and wings.) and the ability to shift between two forms in addition to their humaniod form namely feral and anthromophic and possess incrdible physical abilities like ecelerated healing rates, great speed, incedible strenght and sharper senses than most humaniod and the beastgen species that our young hero is a fox beastgen who also happens to an apprentice to the resident green sage samuos who takes his duty seriously in his training to become an eco sage and also happens to friends with Jak and Daxter and sometimes find himself getting draged along for the ride in whatever escapade they happen to get into.
Kurama no Kyubi: I've never even heard of Jak and Daxter before.
Guest: well I still think that the witches twinrova should reveal that they were the masterminds behind sasuke's clan's unfortunate fate by order of gonandorf as potential finale for this deadly duo. and speaking of gear to be obtain I think that Naruto should eventual pick up the cane of pacci and a shield that can reflect magic.
Kurama no Kyubi: Don't worry, someone will inform Sasuke that they were the masterminds behind it, but I haven't quite figured out who yet. Also there will be a shield that can reflect magic, but Naruto won't get it. Oh, and could you explain to me what the Cane of Pacci does?

Chapter 26: Battle of the Jinchuriki: Ichibi vs Kyubi!
Naruto landed at the edge of a roof-top, seeing Gaara standing on another roof-top, looking towards him with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Uzumaki Naruto…" Gaara said.
"I finally caught up with you, Gaara. Dattebayo!" Naruto said.
The blond then leapt from the roof he was standing on and as he approached Gaara, he lashed out with a roundhouse kick. However, Gaara's sand blocked the kick, but then Naruto put his other foot on said sand and used the sand as a stepping-stone as he jumped over the other Jinchuriki.
When he landed behind Gaara, he swung his left arm at the brown-haired pre-teen, but the sand blocked his attack again.
Not far from the battle was Temari hiding behind a water tank, observing the fight.
'Ever since his battle with Terra, I could tell that he was slowly losing it. If this battle continues for much longer, I'm afraid that Gaara will become uncontrollable.' She thought.
"Man, that sand of yours is a real nuisance." Naruto said as he was standing a few feet away from Gaara, who had now turned around.
"My sand is the ultimate defense; nothing you do can get through it." Gaara said.
"Yeah, just keep telling yourself that. It doesn't change the fact that that so called "ultimate defense" was broken two times already today." Naruto said.
(Boss #21: Jinchuriki of the Ichibi, Gaara.)
Gaara then sent a wave of sand towards Naruto, who jumped into the air to dodge it, but then the sand followed him, and seeing as he was in the air, it would be impossible to dodge, or would it?
Naruto grabbed his sword as the Earth Element started glowing before a whip of earth formed out of the blade and he swung it towards a pole that was sticking out of the wall. The whip wrapped around the pole, and he swung under it before making the whip let go of the pole as he weaved a cross-shaped hand sign.
"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." A clone then appeared in the air just under his feet, and he used it as a stepping stone to leap towards Gaara before the clone was hit by the sand and crushed.
As the blond approached the Suna-nin, the whip turned into some kind of armor which covered the blade perfectly except that there were multiple spikes coming out of it.
"Tsuchi Sosa: Destruction Cut!" Naruto called out before landing on the roof just in front of Gaara as he swung the sword, but then sand came and blocked the slash. Naruto then smirked, however, as he simply swung his sword straight through the sand, giving Gaara a cut across the armor of sand over his stomach.
The brown-haired boy then leapt backwards as he held his left arm over where Naruto had hit him. As he landed though, he felt a warm liquid touch his hand and he looked at it to see that it was his blood.
'Blood?! My blood! I'm bleeding!' He thought as his eyes widened, that attack hadn't only cut through his sand shield, but his sand armor and went straight into his skin as well. He then screamed out in pain.
"Heh. Looks like your "ultimate defense" isn't so ultimate after all." Naruto said before he noticed that Gaara was shivering "Huh? Are you scared now that your sand can't defend you?"
Purple markings suddenly started covering Gaara as his eyes suddenly became yellow with a black cross in the middle.
"I'm going to kill you… you who have so many friends… I'm going to kill you and erase that… and then I will truly exist… and I can feel alive." Gaara said before a wave of pain coursed through his body and he clutched his stomach as he fell down on his knees before his right arm and half of his face turned into Shukaku's 'Now… let me feel it!'
'It's begun…!' Temari thought from her hiding place.
'It's just like what happened to him back when he fought Terra…' Naruto thought before Gaara charged at him, being directly in front of him only a mere second later.
Naruto managed to activate Farore's wind just in time, however, and quickly took cover behind a chimney as Gaara slammed his palm into the roof, causing parts of the roof and walls to be destroyed.
"Do you fear me? Uzumaki… Naruto! Do you fear my existence…?!" Gaara yelled.
'Man, this guy's strength is insane! How am I even supposed to beat him?' Naruto thought before recalling what Haku had said.
"Gaara is a Jinchuriki, meaning that he's definitely one of the enemy's greatest cards, you have to go and stop him."
"Naruto, only a Jinchuriki can understand another; you are the only one who can beat Gaara."
'No. I've got to do this, I can't let the others down.' He thought.
Konoha, Sakura
Sakura ran across the streets of the village as she was trying to find her teammates, and it didn't help that she didn't have any sensory Jutsu… maybe she should ask Ino to teach her some.
As she rounded a corner, however, she spotted six Darknuts walking towards her.
"Darknuts?" She said in surprise before drawing her sword and holding it at the ready "Great, as if I didn't have enough problems already."
One of the Darknuts then swung his sword down at her, but she blocked it with her own as she attempted to push the Darknut backwards, but then she noticed that another one was swinging his sword at her, so she was forced to jump backwards to avoid it.
Just as she landed, however, she looked up to see that another one of the Darknuts was standing above her and he was already swinging his sword at her. She then jumped to her right and rolled over the ground before coming to a halt in a crouching position as the Darknut's sword hit the ground, cracking it.
The fourth Darknut then slashed his sword horizontally at Sakura, but she jumped over it before swinging her sword downwards, but it just bounced off the Darknut's helmet. She then landed on the ground before leaping backwards.
'It's just like with Legion-san. My sword can't penetrate their armor.' She thought before her eyes widened as she noticed something. One of the Darknuts had come up behind her and she looked over her shoulder just before blood was spilt.
Konoha, Naruto vs Gaara
"Come on, Uzumaki Naruto! Show me the power you used against Kaminari!" Gaara yelled.
Naruto then stepped out from behind the chimney as the Wind Element started glowing, causing a sword of wind to extend from the hilt.
"Here I am, Gaara." He said, catching Gaara's attention.
The two Jinchuriki then charged at each other, Naruto's wind enhanced sword vs Gaara's sand arm. As they passed each other, Naruto swung the blade, causing a deep cut across Gaara's arm, and when they both stopped running, Gaara laughed like a maniac as he turned to look at Naruto, who also turned around.
"A-ha ha ha… I see! … So that's what it was!" Gaara said.
"No way… Naruto was able to match and counter Gaara's enhanced state attack?" Temari said in surprise.
"… I just realized… why… I'm enjoying myself so!" Gaara said before clutching his right shoulder with his left hand as he continued "This pain… If I can defeat one strong enough to wound me, rob him of all that he is… I'll feel even more alive than ever!"
'Naruto's managed to wound Gaara twice in this battle alone… Is he… a monster too? Nah… The real monster is inside Gaara… But only his right arm transformed…' Temari thought.
"Ha ha ha! More, I want more!" Gaara said before a tail suddenly grew out from his rear-end.
'A tail?' Naruto thought.
"Ready for me?" Gaara asked before charging at Naruto again.
'He's even faster than before!' Naruto thought before he jumped up just in time to avoid the other Jinchuriki's attack, but then Gaara skidded to a halt before charging back towards Naruto.
As the blond – having flipped around in mid-air – approached the roof, Gaara was right in front of him, about to punch with his right arm. But then – reacting quickly – Naruto stabbed his sword into Gaara's hand and pushed onto the roof as the sword went into the tiles, causing the sand arm to be stuck there.
Naruto used the sword to balance himself as he then lashed out with a roundhouse kick to Gaara's cheek, sending the brown-haired boy into the roof as he skidded on his side across the tiles before coming to a stop due to his arm still being stuck.
Gaara then rose back to his feet as the sand detached from his shoulder, causing the sand arm to fall off.
"Impressive. To think that I'd face two people in the same day that could stand against me when I'm in this state. This just makes me want to kill you even more." Gaara said before his left arm got covered in sand to form Shukaku's left arm.
Naruto then pulled his sword out of the detached sand arm, seeing as there was not really any point of keeping the sword there as Gaara wouldn't be using that arm again anyway.
'That sand of his seems to act in much the same way as my own chakra cloak... which means…' Naruto thought before making a cross-shaped hand sign "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"
Two clones then appeared next to the original, and all three then charged towards Gaara, however, the brown-haired Jinchuriki then cocked back his left arm before thrusting it forward towards the trio.
One of the clones then jumped up and stabbed his sword into the sand arm before he landed on the sword in a crouched position. The other clone then jumped up on the first one's back before jumping into the air as the first one dispelled himself and the second one followed up by throwing several shuriken at Gaara.
But then Gaara's right arm was once again covered by sand and he blocked the shuriken before using that arm to destroy the clone. His arms then retracted back as his attention turned to the original Naruto, who was now right in front of him, trying to stab him in the chest with his sword, however, Gaara then crushed the blond into the roof-tiles, but his eyes widened when the blond puffed away in a cloud of smoke.
'Nani?!' Gaara thought before sensing something behind him and he looked over his shoulder to see that Naruto was just behind him, and was too close for him to use his tail.
What Gaara didn't know was that all that had just happened was part of Naruto's plan. First he created three Kage Bunshins, having one of them instantly Henge himself into a shuriken when he was created. Then one of the clones would render Gaara's sand arm useless before the other one would use the first one as a stepping-board and jump into the air before throwing several shuriken at the brown-haired Jinchuriki. The clone that was transformed into a shuriken would be hidden just above one of the other shuriken so Gaara would see it, and it would also go past the Suna-nin before transforming back as he activated Farore's Wind at the same time as the original Naruto so that the two would switch places.
Naruto then placed an explosive tag on Gaara's back before jumping up into the air, using the other Jinchuriki's head as a stepping-board. When he was in the air, he flipped around before landing a few feet away from Gaara just before the tag blew up.
'While still in the version 1 state, a chakra cloak has a very distinct weakness; its back. If you can get close enough to the back, then the tail can't block your attacks.' Naruto thought with a smile 'This match is over.'
Konoha, Sakura
The Darknut that had attempted to attack Sakura fell backwards onto the ground as blood flowed out from a deep cut that had appeared across his stomach. Over the Darknut was another Darknut standing in a position which indicated that he had just swung his sword.
"You all right, Princess?" The Darknut asked as he turned around, giving Sakura a clear view of his face seeing as though he didn't have his helmet on.
"L-Legion-san…!" Sakura exclaimed.
"Leave the rest to me, Princess." Legion said before jumping over Sakura despite the heavy armor he was wearing, and when the pinkette turned around, she was greeted with quite a sight.
Legion swung his sword at one of the Darknuts, almost cutting it in half before stabbing another one in the heart, the sword coming out on the other side. He then used his left foot to push the Darknut off his sword before grabbing around the helmet of another one with his left hand and he threw that Darknut to the ground before crushing his head with his foot.
"Legion-san, watch out?" Sakura called out, and Legion looked over his shoulder just in time to see the final Darknut behind him, swinging his sword downwards.
Before anyone could do as much as blink, however, Legion had already turned around and was blocking the other Darknut's sword with his own before pushing back so hard and fast that the Darknut didn't get any time to react, and his sword was knocked from his hands as his head was cut off.
'Wow! The Darknuts that I couldn't do anything against… Legion-san killed them like it was nothing!'
Konoha, Arena, Kage box
"Looks like things have taken an interesting turn of events. Who would have thought that a rouge Darknut would show up here of all places." Ganondorf said as he placed a piece which looked like a Darknut down on the board "This time it won't just be six."
His right arm was then engulfed in darkness before he held it up as a black cloud formed in the sky above the arena before a blast of darkness was shot from his hand and went straight into the cloud before countless blasts of darkness shot down, and as they hit the ground, the darkness faded to reveal an army of Darknuts.
Konoha, Sakura
"Did you really make the right decision in killing them? Weren't they your own people?" Sakura asked as she looked at Legion.
"A long time ago, I swore an oaf to protect the Royal Family of Hyrule at all costs, even if it meant killing my own people. Besides, it's for the best. These people were forced to become Darknuts due to their hatred, they should've been dead ages ago. There'd be no saving them." Legion said.
"But you were saved, weren't you?" Sakura said.
"At that time, I had only been a Darknut for a short time, I could still be saved. These guys have likely been like this for centuries or even millennia." Legion said before putting his sword on his back.
"Hey, wait a minute. Shouldn't you be at the library? What if someone were to use the commotion from the battle to sneak in?" Sakura asked.
"Heh. There's no need to worry about that, Princess. Before I left, I activated the library's defense mechanism. Besides, while there are a lot of books down there containing forbidden spells, none of those spells are really of any consequence, and they're all rather easy to deal with if you just know how. The real problem would be if one of the Forbidden Seven would fall into the wrong hands, but that's impossible." Legion said.
"Why's it impossible?" Sakura asked.
"The Forbidden Seven are protected by powerful sealing Jutsu that could only be broken by the most powerful sealing masters of the Uzumaki clan. And as if that wasn't enough, the Forbidden Seven are located in the deepest parts of the library.
""The deepest parts of the library"? You mean those chambers all the way at the bottom where those vents took me?" Sakura asked.
"No. In fact, that's not even half-way down. The deepest parts of the library are protected by countless barriers that will only let those with divine protection like you and your teammates through. Anyone else would be immediately pulverized the moment they touched them. Not even I can get passed them." Legion said before catching the glimpse of something from the corner of his eyes, and he turned towards it to see what appeared to be a countless number of Darknuts "Looks like we've got company."
"Ah!" Sakura then held her sword at the ready.
"I'll take care of them. You get out of here." Legion said as he drew his sword and assumed a battle stance.
"No! I'll stay and fight too!" Sakura said as she assumed a battle stance of her own.
"Princess?" Legion said as he looked over his shoulder at the pinkette.
"Everyone's always had to protect me before, but it's time for that to change! From now on, it's time that I started standing on my own two feet!" Sakura declared as she activated Nayru's Love.
'Uzu-sama… She's so much like you.' Legion thought with a smile before looking at the horde of Darknuts coming towards them "All right, then. IKUZO!" The two of them then charged at the Darknuts.
Konoha, Great Library, Ray
Ray was in a hallway deep down in the library, the walls being lined with book-shelves. He then came to a stop before what looked like some kind of barrier that was in the opening of a door which led to a staircase.
"Looks like Terra wasn't able to stop Hyuga, after all." He said as he could sense Neji's presence in the library. He then turned around and formed a hand sign in which his hands were clasped together like with the mi sign except that his middle and pinkie fingers were extended.
"Raijin Bunshin!" He said and suddenly four clones of himself formed out of him before vanishing in bolts of lightning "These should keep him busy for a while." He then turned around to look at the barrier.
"Now then, let's get going." He said before walking towards the barrier.
Great Library, Neji
Neji walked onto the platform where Sakura had found the Book of Mudora before his head suddenly jerked down and he turned around just before a lightning bolt went through the chains he had used to reach the platform, severing it.
Another three bolts of lightning then shot up, severing the other three chains and causing the platform to plummet down towards the floor before crashing.
"Itai. What just happened?" Neji said as he rose to his feet before spotting the four Rays that were now standing in front of him 'Clones?' He then activated his Byakugan 'I can't tell them apart even with my Byakugan.'
"There's no point, the original isn't here." One of the clones said in a tone which sounded similar to Ventus. (Kurama no Kyubi: I'll refer to him as Ray-V.)
"That's right! So what are we waiting for? Let's get this battle started already!" Another one said in a tone which sounded similar to Flare. (Kurama no Kyubi: I'll refer to him as Ray-F.)
"Does it kill you to have some patience once in a while?" Another one said in a tone which sounded similar to Aqua. (Kurama no Kyubi: I'll refer to him as Ray-A.)
"But can you blame him for being impatient? Personally, I can't wait to rip those eye-balls of his out of their sockets!" The last one said in a tone which sounded similar to Chilly. (Kurama no Kyubi: And I'll refer to him as Ray-C.)
"Enough squabbling, we've got a job to do." Ray-V said before Neji got into a fighting stance as the four clones charged at him.
Konoha, Obito vs Luna
Obito fired multiple balls of fire towards Luna, but she expertly dodged them before vanishing in a flash of light and reappearing behind the Uchiha.
"Kh…!" Obito barely got time to turn around and cross his arms over his chest before being hit by a beam of light which sent him flying backwards before he landed on his feet and skidded to a halt.
'She's stronger than I thought. At this rate, I'll have no choice but to use my left eye.' He thought.
"Hmm? Well, it looks like Ray-kun's almost reached his objective, I can no longer sense his presence which means he's got to be beyond the first layers of barriers." Luna said as she stared in the direction of the library from the corner of her eyes.
"What do you mean?" Obito asked before Luna looked back at him.
"My star disciple, Ray-kun is currently within the Great Library looking for the Forbidden Seven." She said, causing Obito's eyes to widened.
"Nani?!" He said, but then he smirked as his eyes narrowed "In that case, I'm afraid that your star disciple is already dead. Only those with divine protection can pass through those barriers unharmed."
"The term "divine protection" is rather miss-leading. It doesn't refer to someone who's being protected by the divine, but rather someone who was born with a strong connection to a God. And that includes both you… and me." Luna said and then Obito thought back to when she showed him her wings.
"Luna, tell me; what exactly are you? There are only two intelligent species in this world that has wings; the Rito and the Fairies, and you're obviously neither." Obito said.
"There is no need for you to know that. Not yet, anyways." Luna said before extending her right arm with the palm out before a beam of light came out of it and shot towards Obito, but the Uchiha managed to dodge it just in time.
'Fine. If that's the way she wants it, I guess I'll have to beat it out of her instead.' Obito said before his right eye changed 'Mangekyo Sharingan!'
Konoha, Hokage Mountain, Konohamaru, Inari, and Moegi
Konohamaru, Inari, and Moegi were hiding behind a tree as the Sarutobi looked around the trunk to see a mirror standing in the middle of a small clearing with the Scorpion; Scorpio, the Water-Bearer; Aquarius, the Goat; Capricorn, and the Crab; Cancer guarding it.
'It's just like Inari's father said…' Konohamaru thought as he recalled what Kaiza had told them.
Flashback
"Inari, Konohamaru-san, Moegi-san. I have something that I need you three to do for me." Kaiza said as he had his back to them while standing on the backs of the chairs.
"What is it?" Inari asked.
"Amongst the enemy forces, there's a group called the "Seven Reapers of Death", among them is a very troublesome woman named Luna." Kaiza said.
"Oh! You need us three to take her down?" Konohamaru asked enthusiastically.
"Um, no. Not quite." Kaiza said as he face-faulted before continuing "You see, Luna-san won't really be here."
"What do you mean?" Moegi asked.
"Luna-san uses very powerful light magic, and by shining her light into a mirror, she can create a very convincing reflection of herself which would even fool the best Dojutsu users. Also, it doesn't matter how great the distance between her and the mirror is, in fact I'm betting that she's still back at Tani." Kaiza said.
"Then how would she be a problem if she's not even here?" Konohamaru said.
"Her magic travels at the speed of light, so it can reach just about anywhere in the world as long as there's a light source, and when her eyes are closed, she sees through the eyes of her reflection." Kaiza said.
Flashback end
'He said that the mirror had to be somewhere high up… seems like it was a good idea to start looking here.' Konohamaru thought before hearing some of the women guarding the mirror begin to speak.
"When's Leo-taichou and Taurus going to get here, anyway?" Aquarius asked.
"Be a little more patient, they're bound to show up any second now." Capricorn said as she looked at Aquarius before looking out into the forest while thinking 'It's strange though, they should have been here by now. I'm afraid that something might have happened to them.'
"Konohamaru-kun, those people look pretty strong. How are we going to get past them?" Moegi whispered.
"I don't know." Konohamaru whispered back before thinking 'Kh… This sounded so much easier when we first went to find that stupid mirror.'
"And what do the three of you think you're doing?" The three children then froze before looking up to see Iruka standing over them with an angry look on his face, causing Konohamaru and Moegi to let out sighs of relief.
"Iruka-sensei, I'm so glad you're here." Konohamaru whispered before pointing around the tree "Do you see that mirror over there?"
Iruka then looked around the tree to see the mirror that Konohamaru was talking about before turning to the two academy students and one civilian.
"I don't have time to explain right now, but if we shatter that mirror, then one of the enemy ninja will be taken out of the picture." Konohamaru said.
"That's right, but we can't get anywhere near the mirror as long as those guards are standing there." Moegi said.
"I see, so you would like me to draw their attention, is that it?" Iruka asked.
"It'd be much appreciated." Konohamaru said.
"Fine. But you're still in trouble. And that goes for all three of you." Iruka said before turning to Inari "And you, do your parents even know where you are?"
"Well, tou-san's the one who told us to shatter that mirror, and ka-san's sleeping." Inari said, causing Iruka to face-palm, he would probably need to have a talk with the boy's father later on.
"Well, I guess I should get going then." Iruka said before turning around and vanishing in a shunshin.
Shortly after a couple of kunai with explosive tags attached to them came flying into the ground before the tags blew up. The four Tani-nin then looked towards where the kunai had come from to see Iruka standing on a branch before turning around and jumping further into the forest, and the Tani-nin jumped after him.
"Do you think he'll be all right?" Inari asked.
"Don't worry, he's our teacher at the academy. Now then, let's go shatter that mirror." Konohamaru said before the three of them ran into the clearing.
Konoha, Obito vs Luna
Obito managed to dodge a beam of light, but he accidentally tripped in the process, causing him to fall onto his rear-end on the roof as Luna appeared above him with the palm of her hand just mere inches away from his face.
"I had fun, but now it's over for you, Obito-kun." She said.
Konoha, Hokage Mountain, Konohamaru, Inari, and Moegi
Konohamaru and Inari grabbed kunai that Kaiza had given them before slashing straight through the mirror as Moegi simultaneously used her talons to do the same, and they unknowingly formed the image of the Triforce in the mirror before it shattered into countless pieces.
Konoha, Obito vs Luna
Luna was about to fire her attack at Obito, who was probably seeing his life flashing before his eyes, but then she suddenly vanished as though she wasn't any more than a mirage.
"Obito!" Obito looked towards the voice to see Kakashi landing on the roof before he rose to his feet.
"You're late, Kakashi." He said.
"Hmm? What happened to Luna?" Kakashi asked as he looked around and Obito recalled some of what Luna had said earlier.
"My star disciple, Ray-kun is currently within the Great Library looking for the Forbidden Seven."
"Never mind about that! We have to hurry!" Obito said before jumping in the direction of the library while adding "Follow me." 'I hope that we'll make it in time.'
Konoha, Great Library, Neji
Neji was squaring off with Ray-V as they stared at each other, the former panting heavily while the latter didn't even seem winded.
Neji had figured out a thing or two about this weird cloning Jutsu. Apparently, Ray could make clones of himself which would act and behave like people he knew, but that wasn't all, they were also able to use the powers of those people as well as the lightning powers of Ray.
Early on in the fight, Neji had noted that Ray-F and Ray-C were constantly bickering, so he exploited this and managed to trick them into taking each other out. Next one was Ray-A, who was actually rather easy to defeat, just a Juken strike to the heart in fact.
And now there was only Ray-V left, who proved to be the most troublesome of the four. And it didn't help that the clones didn't seem to tire.
However, then Ray-V just smiled before vanishing in a burst of electricity.
"What the…? Why did he just leave like that?" Neji questioned before thinking 'Could it be that Ray's accomplished whatever it was that he came here for?'
He then looked towards a hole in the floor which had been formed by Ray-F's attack earlier in the battle and he jumped down.
Konoha, Naruto vs Gaara
Naruto stood there, watching as the smoke from the explosion faded, but then he saw something rise out of the smoke. In fact, it looked like sand that was piling up on itself all on its own.
'Ah, you've got to be kidding me…!' Naruto thought before he leapt backwards and landed on the street as the building he had just been standing on crumbled due to the weight of someone… or something.
When all the dust finally cleared, it revealed none other than Shukaku, the Ichibi no Tanuki himself standing on the rubble of what had once been a house.
"Ahhh! What the hell is that thing?!" A Konoha Chunin who was on a nearby roof screamed.
Gaara then suddenly came out of Shukaku's forehead before making a sign as he said "Tanuki Neiri no Jutsu!" His head then slumped forward as though he was sleeping, which he now was.
"YOSHA! I'm finally free!" Shukaku said.
"This doesn't look good…" Naruto said as he was looking up at the monstrosity.
"Hmm? I think I'll kill you first, midget!" Shukaku said as he looked down at Naruto.
"Naruto!" He heard Kurama's voice in his head.
'Sorry Kurama, I don't have time to talk right now.' The blond thought.
"That's Shukaku no Ichibi, he's a Biju just like myself. Naruto, you've got no other choice but to do "that"." Kurama said.
'"That"? Are you sure?' Naruto asked.
"Yes, now do it!" The Biju demanded.
'Alright, alright, I'll do it.' Naruto said before biting his thumb and weaving a series of hand signs before slamming his right palm down on the ground.
"Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" Then the entire area was engulfed in a cloud of smoke, and when the smoke cleared it revealed Naruto standing atop the head of Kurama.
"You ready for this, Kurama?" The blond asked.
"Oh, I'm more than ready, Naruto." Kurama said.
"Wah! That's the Kyubi no Kitsune!" A nearby Konoha ninja screamed.
"No way! Konoha has one too?" A nearby Suna-nin exclaimed.
"And look atop its head! That's the demon brat!" Another one said as he pointed at Naruto.
"It's strange though, I could've sworn that it was at least twice as big back when it attacked 12 years ago." A third one said.
"Looks like we've got ourselves an audience, Naruto." Kurama said.
"Yeah, yeah. Just hurry up with this so that you can get back into my stomach, already." Naruto said.
"Gladly." Kurama said before staring at Shukaku "Long time no see, Shukaku."
"Kurama? This is great. When I first heard that Suna would invade Konoha I was hoping to get the chance to kill your Jinchuriki, but now I can kill him and beat you up at the same time, that's even better!" Shukaku said.
"you will beat me? I've no idea where you got that idea you one tailed Tanuki. Or did you forget that I've got eight more tails than you?" Kurama said.
"And there you go again! You always say the same thing, that the number of tails determines who is stronger than who. Well, I'm finally gonna beat your lights out and prove you wrong!" Shukaku yelled.
"Umm… Are they arguing?" A Suna-nin asked with a dumbfounded expression on his face.
"Looks like it…" Another Suna-nin said.
"Then come and prove me wrong, I dare you. Or are you too afraid to fight me? Even after all you just said?" Kurama teased.
"Oh, I'm gonna prove you wrong, all right!" Shukaku said before taking a deep breath and he then slammed his fist on his chest "Futon: Renkudan!"
A ball of highly compressed air was then shot towards Kurama, and due to being so close to Shukaku, he wasn't able to dodge in time and was sent skidding backwards, destroying many of the buildings in the process.
"Kurama, you okay?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah. Don't worry about me, kid." Kurama said before puffing up his cheeks "Kyubi Fire!"
A wave of fire then came out of Kurama's mouth, blocking two other Renkudan that had been fired by Shukaku. The large kitsune then charged forward towards the tanuki before swiping his clawed hand across Shukaku's face.
Shukaku then went in for an uppercut to the underside of Kurama's head, knocking it upwards and causing Naruto to fall back as he lost his balance. The one tailed Biju then followed up with a punch to the right side of Kurama's head before turning around and hitting Kurama in the side with his tail, causing the nine tailed Biju to almost lose his balance, however, he managed to regain it before he could fall over.
"Kyubi Fire!" Kurama said as he then looked up at Shukaku as he breathed out a wave of fire at his fellow Biju.
Shukaku crossed his arms over his chest to block the flames, but they still managed to cause him to skid backwards due to the force they hit him with. When he then stopped skidding, he inhaled deeply before slamming his fist on his stomach once more.
"Futon: Renkudan!" Shukaku then fired several air bullets at Kurama, but the nine tailed Biju just jumped to his right to avoid them, destroying several buildings in the process.
"Hang on tight, kid." Kurama said before he ran towards Shukaku, who continued to fire off air bullets.
Konoha, Great Library, Neji
Neji ran through a long hallway before eventually reaching an open door which led to a staircase that went further down. In the door opening, however, was what appeared to be some kind of barrier.
He then activated his Byakugan to try and see if Ray was further ahead, but as it turned out, he couldn't see past the barrier despite it being barely visible when he looked at it with his naked eye.
He then deactivated his eye, seeing as though it'd be more or less useless and rather walked up to the barrier before holding out his hand, slowly bringing it closer to the barrier before it went straight through. Sighing, Neji then retracted his arm before running through the barrier and down the stairs.
Konoha, Farore, Dimitri, Kiba, Akamaru, Hinata
The small group of two Hylians, two animals, and one Goddess had reached the apartment building that Naruto and Farore were living in as they were standing outside of Farore's apartment.
"So this is where Naruto lives?" Kiba asked as he looked around before adding "What a dump."
"Kiba-kun!" Hinata said in a tone which surprised Kiba and Akamaru as Farore just chuckled.
"Anyway, you guys will need to stay out here and stop any Suna, Oto, or Tani ninja that shows up." The Goddess said before entering her apartment, closing the door behind her.
"Why would any enemy shinobi look for anyone around here, anyway?" Kiba asked as he looked at Hinata, who just shrugged in response.
In the meantime, Farore walked over to her bed before sitting on it as she got into the lotus position and started concentrating as she closed her eyes. Her body then started emitting a green glow before a green beam of light suddenly shot up through the ceiling and straight into the sky.
This didn't go unnoticed by Kiba, Hinata, Akamaru, and Dimitri as they stared at the light shooting upwards as they were bathed in its green glow.
"Oh, so that's why." Kiba said before Hinata noticed something.
"Kiba-kun!" She said, activating her Byakugan just before several Suna and Oto-nin appeared on either side of them, and the four of them got into their respective battle stances.
It being a narrow walk-way, made it so that they were surrounded as Kiba and Akamaru looked towards the ones to the left while Hinata and Dimitri looked towards the ones to the right.
"You ready, Akamaru?" Kiba asked and Akamaru barked in response.
"Let's do this, Dimitri-kun!" Hinata said – oddly enough feeling strangely confident about the battle – and Dimitri growled in response.
"Nani? Just a couple of kids and their pets? This is gonna be easy." One of the Suna-nin said.
God Realm, Palace of the Golden Goddesses, Looking Pool
Din was looking into the pool of water, observing Kurama and Shukaku's fight before she suddenly felt something and looked up just in time to see an ethereal version of Farore appearing out of nowhere.
"Well, if it isn't Farore. I haven't seen you for a month and when you finally show up, you don't take your body with you? What's up with that?" Din asked.
"Shut up, teme!" Farore yelled before looking around as she asked "Where's Nayru-nee-san?"
"She said she was going down to the Great Library for some reason." Din said as she leaned back onto the wall and closed her eyes.
"The Great Library? Why?" Farore asked with a questioning look on her face.
"Heck if I know. I can hardly tell what that girl's even thinking at times." Din said.
Mortal Plane, Elemental Nations, Land of Fire, Konoha, Great Library, Neji
Neji walked down a bunch of stairs that were in a circular pattern and were lined with book-shelves. He then reached the bottom which was dimly lit by torches, and in a circle at the center of the round room were seven pedestals, though there weren't anything on them, and seeing how far down this was and how much effort had been put into defending this place, there obviously had to have been something on them.
'What's with these pedestals, and why aren't there anything on them?' The Hyuga thought as he walked towards them before activating his Byakugan to see traces of chakra surrounding the top of each pedestal, and he realized that the chakra must've been from either a sealing or a barrier Ninjutsu "Could it be…?!"
Neji figured that whatever had been here must've been stolen, and judging from the fact that there were still traces of chakra, it must've been recently, meaning that there's only one person who could've done it; Ray.
However, this wasn't all that was on Neji's mind right now since a usually over-looked ability of the Byakugan was that they could see how old someone's chakra is, and this chakra was over 2.000 years old. Today, even the most powerful of shinobi wouldn't be able to make a barrier or a seal which would even last a century, much less a millennia. So just who in the world could've made this seal or barrier?
Something then caught Neji's eyes and he looked towards a seemingly random book-shelf before walking towards it. He pushed it out of the way to reveal a wall with an image of the Triforce behind it, and in each of the Triforce pieces was the symbol of that piece's respective Goddess. Outside of the Triforce were six other symbols; two next to the edges of each of the Triforce pieces.
Neji noticed that one of the symbols were identical to one he'd seen on the back of Gaara's hand. Beneath the Triforce there were an image of a sword in a pedestal, and in a triangular formation around the sword's hilt were the images of three instruments; a violin, a harp, and a flute. Above the Triforce was the image of a red bird which held an upside-down triangle in its talons, and just to the bird's right was an ocarina while to its left was a harp.
Finally, in-between the three pieces of the Triforce was a large circle with four smaller circles within it like a ripple pattern.
Neji walked up to the wall before putting his hand on it, and that's when he noticed a very thin line in the middle of the wall which went down from the top to the bottom, and he then put his other hand on the wall before pushing, causing the wall to open like a double-door to reveal another staircase.
He then walked down the staircase until eventually reaching another door which had the images of the clan crests of the Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki in a triangular formation with the Uchiha crest at the top, the Senju crest to the bottom left, and the Uzumaki crest to the bottom right.
He opened the door to reveal a completely dark room, however, when he entered the room it suddenly lit up to reveal itself to be rectangular, and in the middle of the room was what appeared to be a coffin of pure gold.
Neji noted that atop the coffin were the same images as on the wall earlier and just a few inches from each of the coffin's corners were some kind of weird pole which seemed to erect a barrier around the coffin.
The Hyuga then walked over to it, before reaching out with his hand, but as he touched the barrier, he felt a slight sting before retracting the hand. He then activated his Byakugan, but wasn't able to see through the barrier at all.
"Hyuga Neji, welcome to the deepest part of the Great Library." Neji then turned around at the voice to see a woman who appeared to be in her mid-twenties and had long blue hair which went all the way down to her butt, and she was dressed in blue clothing unlike anything he had ever seen before.
"Who… are you?" He asked.
"I'm Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom." The woman said, causing Neji's eyes to widen.
"The Goddess of Wisdom?! Nayru-sama?" Neji said in surprise, and the Goddess nodded.
"That's right. But Neji-kun, we don't have much time, so if you've got any questions before I get to the point, you will have to ask now." Nayru said.
"Understood." Neji said before staring towards the coffin from the corner of his eyes "There's just one thing I want to ask. Who's is that?"
"This tomb belongs to O'otsutsuki Hagoromo, the one you would know as the Rikudo Sennin." Nayru said, causing Neji's eyes to widen before looking at the Goddess.
"The Rikudo Sennin? But why would his tomb be here of all places?" Neji asked.
"It was the Great Library's original function. To serve as a tomb for the Rikudo Sennin and a hiding place for the Four Magical Weapons so that no one would ever be able to find them and potentially steal their power. Over time, many other artifacts have also been hidden here, including the Forbidden Seven; seven spell-books which holds unimaginably dangerous spells." Nayru said.
'Could it be that the Shodai knew this and that's why he built the village here? To protect the library?' Neji thought.
"You're right about Hashirama-kun having known of the library, but that's not the reason he built the village here." Nayru said, causing Neji's eyes to widen again.
'How could she possibly…' Neji thought.
"Know what you were thinking? Your eyes told me everything I needed to know." Nayru said.
"Anyway, what did you mean earlier when you said that it wasn't the reason why the village was built here?" Neji asked.
"Well you see, the Great Library is quite larger than you might think. It isn't just a series of mazes underneath Konoha, it stretches out across the entirety of the Elemental Nations. Though, it's usually impossible to find one of the entrances unless you know where to look, the one at the Konoha Library being the only exception." Nayru said before adding "Was that all?"
"Yes." Neji said.
"Well, then…" Nayru said as she closed her eyes before continuing "Look into my eyes and see a piece of your destiny."
Neji then looked into Nayru's eyes as she opened them again, and when they were fully opened his eyes widened and his irises dilated as a bunch of imaged blurred before his eyes.
Vision
He saw a mountain-side road somewhere and there were five people there he didn't recognize; one had pink hair and slitted pupils, another had black hair and no shirt on, another had long black hair and slitted pupils, another was a woman with blond hair, and the last one was a young girl with long blue hair and slitted pupils. Neji also noted that there were three cats present, one blue, one white, and one that looked like a panther.
Then he saw the image of a woman with long blue hair that was playing on a harp as she smiled before he saw a man with blond spiky hair and Ray standing on a stone bridge in front of a large waterfall as yellow and silver lightning coursed through the air around them respectively. He then saw the image of a cave before he saw a temple deep within said cave, and then he saw a blue stone lying under a blue statue of a woman he assumed to be Nayru.
Vision end
Neji then took a couple of steps back as if from the force of the vision.
"It might be a little hard to comprehend at first, but in time you will fully understand the vision, just like the others will." Nayru said before turning around as she added "Now I must be going." Then she suddenly vanished into thin air.
Konoha, Kurama vs Shukaku
(Boss #22: Ichibi no Tanuki, Shukaku.)
"Futon: Renkudan!" Shukaku fired off more of his air bullets, bombarding Kurama as the nine tailed Biju managed to hold himself in place by jamming his claws into the ground. Naruto on the other hand found that he had to lie flat on his stomach and hold onto Kurama's fur in order to not fall off, however, then he noticed an air bullet which shot past them and headed straight for one of the Konoha shinobi.
"Kurama!" The Uzumaki said.
"Got it!" Kurama said.
The Konoha shinobi cowered behind his arms as he waited for the air bullet to hit him, but it never did. Gathering up the courage, he opened his eyes and lowered his arms to see that one of Kurama's tails had blocked the attack.
'Shukaku… you used to love those of the mortal plane so much that you would never harm them unless they threatened you or someone close to you.' Kurama thought before charging towards Shukaku as he recalled the last time he'd seen the over-sized tanuki.
Flashback – 74 years ago
Somewhere in the dessert of the Land of Wind was there a large storm as two titans clashed.
"Futon: Renkudan!" One of the two called out as several air bullets were sent flying towards the much larger one.
Watching the battle from her hiding place behind a rock was a strangely green-haired Gerudo girl who looked like she was in her mid-teens, though in actuality she was in her mid-thirties. (Kurama no Kyubi: No, she doesn't use a Genjutsu to make herself look young, it's actually her natural appearance.)
The battle went on for hours, but eventually, Shukaku ended up under Kurama's hand-like foot which alone almost covered his body.
"Ichibi, can't you see that you're weak? There's no way that your single tail could ever beat my nine." Kurama said as he pushed the tanuki into the sand.
"Ya me ro!" The woman called out as she came out of her hiding place, drawing both Bijus' attention.
"A-Akira-chan?" Shukaku said as the woman – now identified as Akira – climbed up on his chest before turning to face the mountain-sized Kurama as she held her arms out to the side and stared up at the Biju with a determined look in her eyes, not a hint of hesitation.
"What's this? A Gerudo?" Kurama said as he looked down at the woman, who stared right back at him with her yellow eyes.
"Could this girl be your Jinchuriki? Pah! How pathetic, being sealed inside an inferior creature like that." Kurama said.
The giant beast then removed his foot from Shukaku's stomach before turning around and walking away as Akira turned around and ran over to Shukaku's neck before hugging him as well as she could.
"Shuka-kun, you all right?" She asked.
"Yeah. Don't worry, I'm just fine, Akira-chan." Shukaku whispered to the woman as he rose up into a sitting position and held his hands over her so that she wouldn't fall.
Flashback end
'Shukaku… what happened to you?' Kurama thought before dashing to the right, avoiding several air bullets as he continued charging towards his fellow Biju.
When he finally reached the tanuki, he pushed him onto the ground with his foot, crushing a building in the process '… What happened to you…?'
'They took her…!' Shukaku spoke through the Biju telepathic link, course Naruto could hear it as well, and he was pretty sure that Gaara also could hear it, despite being asleep.
Flashback – 69 years ago
Akira was lying naked on a rock with a flat surface. A seal was visible on her left breast, over her heart as the sealing marks had more or less snaked around her entire body. She also had dark rings around her eyes, much like Gaara.
Around her were several men; some of which were trying to hold her down as she was writhing and squirming, trying to get away. There was also a sealing urn in the room, presumably used for sealing Biju and other powerful, un-killable beings. One of the man were currently holding his hands on her breast, working on releasing the seal.
"AKIRA-CHAN! NO! AKIRA-CHAN!" Shukaku was yelling as he fought against the extraction to try and remain inside the woman, but in the end it was futile, and the extraction was a success, Akira's death was immediate.
Flashback end
'I swore that I would get revenge for Akira-chan's death, even if it meant that I would have to kill everyone else in the world!' Shukaku said as he then grabbed Kurama's leg "So I'm not gonna lose to you, Kyubi no baka!"
He then threw Kurama through the air, causing Naruto to lose his hold on the kitsune's fur as he was thrown off, but Kurama noticed this and caught his Jinchuriki with his tail before crashing into the ground and skidding along it, destroying many buildings in the process.
When he eventually came to a stop, he rose to his feet and put a slightly dizzy Naruto back on his head.
"What just… happened?" Naruto asked before noticing the damage caused "Um… Could you be a little more careful here? I don't want the entire village to be blown up, ya know. Dattebayo!"
"Unfortunately that's impossible in a fight between Bijus, even if he is the weakest of us." Kurama said.
"Okay, but isn't there any way to stop him, without getting the whole place wrecked?" Naruto asked.
"Well, you could try and wake up his Jinchuriki, that way Shukaku would be forced back into his seal." Kurama said.
"Really? That's all?" Naruto asked.
"Unfortunately, it's not as simple as it sounds. In order to wake him up, you would need to punch him on his head. But for that, we would need to get close enough which is almost impossible now that he's so mad." Kurama said.
"Then what do we do?" Naruto asked.
"Well, there might be away that you can… Oh, shit." Kurama said as he noticed something.
"Huh? What is it?" Naruto asked before looking towards where Kurama was looking to see Shukaku gathering a lot of red and blue particles until they formed into a huge black ball.
"What's that?" Naruto asked.
"A Bijudama." Kurama answered.
"A Biju-what?" Naruto asked.
"A Bijudama. It's the ultimate attack of any Biju, and if enough force is put into it, it could even blow up a small country." Kurama said before adding "And from the size of that one, I'd say that that's what Shukaku's planning to do."
"What? He's going to destroy the whole country?" Naruto asked.
"No, idiot. The Land of Fire's too big for that, but he would be able to destroy this village and most of the forest." Kurama said.
"Nani? You've got to do something!" Naruto said.
"Heh! I'm way ahead of you. Hold on tight." Kurama said, and Naruto then looked up to see a black ball of both positive and negative energies. Kurama then raised his head, causing Naruto to stumble slightly, but he was able to stick to the Biju using chakra.
Shukaku and Kurama then both ate their respective Bijudamas before opening their mouths again, sending the balls of extremely dense chakra towards each other at raging speed.
"Bijudama!" They both called out and the two mountain-leveling attacks collided with Kurama's hitting the underside of Shukaku's, causing both Bijudamas to shoot into the air before blowing up in a massive explosion high up in the sky.
"Naruto. Dattebane!" Naruto heard the familiar voice in his head.
'Kaa-san, what is it?' He thought.
"If you can get close enough to Shukaku, I think you could use the Chakra Chains to reach the Jinchuriki. Dattebane!" Kushina said.
'What? But I can't even use Chakra Chains.' Naruto thought.
"That's true, but I think that if you tried to call out my chakra like what you do with Kurama, you should be able to use them. Dattebane!" Kushina said.
"Okay, I'll give it a shot." Naruto said before turning to Kurama "You get all that?"
"Loud and clear!" Kurama said before charging towards Shukaku, who then weaved a series of hand signs.
"Futon: Taju Okina Tatsumaki no Jutsu!" The tanuki called out before several huge tornadoes appeared randomly around the place as he weaved another series of hand signs "Futon Sunaarashi no Jutsu!"
Sand then seemed to appear from thin air before forming a huge sand storm, blocking all vision as it forced Naruto and Kurama to close their eyes as not to get sand in them. Good thing both had sensory skills.
The tornadoes picked up the sand from the air, becoming even more dangerous as they roamed in circles around Shukaku.
Kurama continued to run with his eyes closed, jumping out of the way of a tornado whenever Naruto warned him. Course, Kurama's got sensory skills as well, but only one that senses things through the wind would be able to sense the tornadoes.
"All right, I think that's close enough." Naruto said after a while and he concentrated on his mother's chakra before a Chakra Chain shot out of his stomach and headed straight for where he knew Shukaku was, and the chain managed to hit the Biju in the forehead, just beneath where Gaara was.
Naruto then pulled himself towards the Biju as Kurama disappeared in a puff of smoke. When the blond reached his fellow Jinchuriki, he planted his feet on Shukaku's head and gave Gaara a strong punch to the face, waking him up.
"What the…? I can feel a pull on my body almost as though I… No, you've got to be kidding me! I can't return to that brat's mindscape now!" Shukaku yelled as he was pulled back into Gaara.
The sandstorm then faded as the tornadoes vanished, and all the sand fell down to the ground as Naruto and Gaara where facing each other as they were each standing atop a dune of sand, both of them being pretty exhausted which you could tell from their heavy panting. As one they then leaped forward, intent on punching each other's lights out.
Konoha, Naruto's apartment
One of the Suna-nin fell backwards as Hinata had hit him with a Juken strike before an Oto-nin attempted to stab her with a kunai, but she redirected his attack with the side of her arm before hitting him full-force with a Juken strike to the gut.
Dimitri rammed into a Suna-nin's legs, causing him to lose balance and fall over the railings and down to the ground. Another Suna-nin then threw a kunai at him, but it just bounced off his back, and he then jumped up and bit into the Suna-nin's arm, causing the guy to flail his arm around while screaming.
Kiba punched an Oto-nin in the gut, sending the guy flying backwards before blocking a punch from a Suna-nin. Then Akamaru bit into the Suna-nin's leg, causing the guy to back of a little.
"You little mutt!" He grumbled, but then Kiba delivered an uppercut to his jaw. As the guy then landed on his back, Akamaru let go of his leg.
The four of them were surprised at how easy this was. They knew that minor village Chunin and Jonin were weaker than the standard for the greater nations, but this was just ridiculous. A Chunin from a minor village had no business being defeated by Genin from one of the major villages this easily.
Another Oto-nin then appeared before Kiba and the Inuzuka moved in to punch the guy, but as his hand traveled through the air, sparks suddenly started being ignited around his fist before fire appeared out of nowhere. His fist then impacted with the Oto-nin's gut, and said Oto-nin was sent backwards as burn marks appeared on his stomach.
"What the…?" Kiba asked as he looked at his fist, not having a single clue as to what just happened. Then, however, a Suna-nin landed just behind him.
"Ah! Kiba-kun! Watch out!" Hinata said as she looked over her shoulder, but then an Oto-nin appeared behind her and she looked back around as said Oto-nin attacked.
The next that happened, however, was that Tekashi suddenly appeared seemingly out of nowhere behind the Suna-nin with a kunai to said Suna-nin's throat before killing the man by slashing the kunai through his throat.
Then Nawaki appeared in-between Hinata and the Oto-nin before delivering a palm strike to the Oto-nin's chest and a wooden spike covered in blood came out from the man's back. Nawaki then threw the guy aside as the wooden spike retracted itself back into his palm.
"You guys all right?" The Senju asked as he looked over Hinata, Kiba, and the two animals.
"Umm… Yeah. Th-thank you." Hinata said.
"These guys are all Chunin, how come they were so easily beaten by a pair of Genin and a couple of animals?" Tekashi asked.
"Farore-sama must've casted her Shiki Spell." Nawaki said.
"Shiki Spell?" Tekashi asked as he looked at the Senju.
"It's a spell which boosts an ally's morale while lowering an enemy's. Of course, the fact that these guys were underestimating them also helped." Nawaki said.
"Hey! You mind telling us just who the hell you are?" Kiba asked.
"Ah, yes. We probably should, shouldn't we?" Nawaki said.
In the meantime inside Farore's apartment was the Goddess still sitting on her bed in the lotus position before the light emanating from her suddenly vanished and her eyes snapped open.
She had met with her sisters primarily to ask if she could be allowed to help in the battle, however, Nayru had said that as a God she cannot interfere in the affairs of mortals, cause if she did then the other Gods – if they found out – would surely punish her and possibly even strip away her divine powers.
However, having spent the last month living with shinobi, she was able to find a hidden message in her oldest sister's words. She could join the battle, but had to refrain from using too much of her powers so that the other Gods wouldn't notice.
She then got out of her bed and walked towards the door, ready to join the shinobi on the battle field.
Konoha, arena, Kage box
"So Gaara lost in the end after all, huh?" Ganondorf said as he looked down at the Raccoon-looking piece which was in his hand before clenching said hand, crushing the piece before he rose to his feet and smirked "Then it's finally time for me to join the battle."

Bio: Before Gaara was born, his father – the Yondaime Kazekage – had the Ichibi no Tanuki sealed within him, however, this in turn also caused the death of his mother. As Gaara grew up, he noticed how everyone was treating him because of the monster within him. Then one day, he was attacked by his uncle – the only one he'd ever trusted – who then told him that he had never been loved, not even by his own mother. Afterwards he started believing that his sole purpose for living was to kill others, and only by killing someone stronger than him could he prove his own existence.
Kurama no Kyubi: And now things are heating up as the two strongest people present are about to join the battle, but whether we'll see them in action during the next chapter or not, I cannot say. Also before I forget, keep in mind that next chapter starts off nearly at the beginning of this battle, so that means that at the start of the chapter, none of the main players in the battle has yet to be defeated.
