The Legend of Naruto
Chunin Exam arc
Kurama no Kyubi: And now we've reached that aftermath of the invasion, so there will be a few things happening in this chapter, though there won't be much – if any – action.
Johnsoncutter: namely the force which just so happened to spirit ventus away and land him in the clutches of evil. well please do consider some the suggestion I've sent out.
Kurama no Kyubi: That force is going to remain secret for now, especially seeing as even I haven't quite figured out what it was yet. Though it clearly has to be something with divine powers.
Johnsoncutter: I don't suppose that the forbidden seven have anything to do with the seven demon lords. as for the certain somebody leaving the village it's going to potentially be sasuke right but his reason and destination on quest for strength won't be the same as the canon right? well Naruto going to be receiving some hands on training in the art of the sword from Erza scarlet and lesson in magic I assume from said fairy tail reference whilst jiriaya teaches him how to use the rasengan in addition to other ninjutsu during their training trip and search for one tsunade will they have some help from her brother during this adventure.
Kurama no Kyubi: Nawaki has other matters to attend to, so he won't have his reunion with Tsunade for quite some time. And who knows, the Forbidden Seven might have something to do with the Demon Lords.
Johnsoncutter: just because Ganandorf possesses the forbidden seven it doesn't mean he's won just yet or has automatically siezed the title of I am the freaking king of the world for I am guessing the those book have an additional protection to ensure that any whom possess them won't be able to use them imediately but it still is a major risk that our hero's will have to face and prepare and face in the squel.
Kurama no Kyubi: Yes, it is a huge risk, but for now he won't pose much of a threat since his forces also suffered some heavy losses during the battle.
Johnsoncutter: well it seems that the only causalities of the war are three great warriors of justice and one apartment of our young hero
Kurama no Kyubi: There's a lot more than just that which was destroyed during the battle, and there were also a lot more casualties.

Chapter 30: Aftermath
Between two dunes of sand near the center of the village were Naruto and Gaara lying on the ground, both being barely strong enough to remain conscious.
"… That pain… of being all alone… it's not trivial… The way you feel… I dunno why, but… I understand it so well… the hurt…" Naruto said, causing Gaara's eyes to widen before he continued "But… I've got people who care about me now… People that are important to me… I won't let you hurt them… even if I have to kill you… I will stop this…"
"Why… why should you care about others…?" Gaara asked.
"They saved me from my pit of loneliness… And they understand me… I couldn't live without them… I love them." Naruto said, causing Gaara to remember something that his uncle, Yashamaru had once said.
"… The feeling that makes you want to strive for and protect those around you who are precious to you…"
"… Love…" Gaara said before thinking 'So that's why he's so strong…'
Then, Jiraiya suddenly landed next to Naruto along with Ibiki.
"Don't worry, kid. We've got it from here." Jiraiya said.
"You're…" Naruto said as he looked up at the white-haired Sannin just before Jiraiya and Ibiki sensed something as Temari and Kankuro landed in front of their fallen brother.
"It's all right… I quit." Gaara said before thinking '… Uzumaki Naruto…'
'… Gaara's never seemed so exhausted.' Kankuro thought before helping his younger brother to his feet "All right…" And they then shunshined away.
'Perhaps… maybe someday…' Gaara thought before closing his eyes, and when he opened them again, he said "Temari, Kankuro… Gomen Nasai…"
Temari and Kankuro then looked at each other with questioning looks before Kankuro said "Uh, Well, it's okay, I guess…"
Konoha, Sakura and Legion
Sakura and Legion were standing back-to-back with their swords at the ready as they were surrounded by Darknuts and were also quite exhausted which one could easily tell from Sakura's heavy breathing. Legion was exhausted as well, but he was pretty good at hiding it, even without wearing his helmet.
"Ninpou:…" A new voice could suddenly be heard before all of the Darknuts were suddenly engulfed in total darkness as the voice said "Kuroshi no Jutsu!"
The sound of a sword slashing through flesh could then be heard as well as armor falling down to the ground. When the sounds eventually stopped, the darkness faded and Sakura and Legion both looked towards a lone figure standing there, a Human in fact.
"Who are you?" Sakura asked.
"The name's Ansatsu Tekashi." Tekashi replied as he walked towards them before looking at Legion "You're the Darknut known as Legion, right?"
"I am." Legion said.
Konoha, arena
Genma, Kakashi, Guy, Obito, Kaiza, and Nawaki were standing before Baki and Kabuto as all of the other Suna, Oto, and Tani ninja in the arena had been defeated.
"… So… all you ended up doing was watching… Kabuto…" Kaiza said, catching everyone off-guard.
"So you knew…" Kabuto said as he removed his mask.
"Hey… So what's the plan?" Baki asked as he looked towards Kabuto from the corner of his eyes.
"I think we should retreat…" Kabuto said.
"Running away?" Kakashi asked.
"For now, yes… I no longer wish to show you my Jutsu so you can just copy it. Although… it does seem like you haven't mastered that eye as completely as a member of the Uchiha clan could have…" Kabuto said before making a hand sign "Well then." And he and Baki both vanished in a puff of smoke.
"We should go and see whether or not those ANBU guys have found Hokage-sama yet." Nawaki said as the others gave a nod before they all disappeared in shunshins.
Konoha, Vaati
Vaati was standing in the middle of the devastated area in which he and Kaiza had fought as he looked down at the red cap before kneeling down and picking it up. He then rose to his feet before putting it on, causing it to once again turn purple.
"Looks like Kaiza beat you up pretty badly." Vaati then looked over his shoulder and towards the source of the voice to see Onox standing there.
"Onox? What happened to your armor?" He asked.
"I ran into a rather powerful shinobi, though I was able to deal with him in the end." Onox said before asking "So how were you able to escape Kaiza's last attack, anyway?"
"I shrunk myself to my original size at the last possible second. Kaiza – being an adult – wasn't able to see me." Vaati said before sensing something and looking in the direction of where Farore and Ganondorf were.
"What is it?" Onox asked.
"For some reason I just started getting a bad feeling." Vaati said.
Konoha, Farore
Farore was standing before the unconscious body of Ganondorf as she glared at him before holding out her right hand and a green ball of energy suddenly formed before her palm.
"Now, DIE!" She said before firing the ball and it caused a large explosion upon impact, however, when the smoke faded Farore raised a curious eyebrow as Ganondorf was nowhere to be seen.
"Huff. Huff. Looks like I made it in time." Farore then turned towards the voice to see Vaati standing there with the Tanikage's unconscious form.
"What? Are you planning on fighting me in place of your master?" Farore asked.
"Iie. I know that I'm no match for you, Farore-sama. All I'm doing here is getting Ganondorf-sama to safety." Vaati said before adding "Pico cori ri ico pi picori ripo coco."
Vaati then held his right hand up in a one-handed hand sign before he and Ganondorf vanished in a gust of wind.
Konoha, Konohamaru, Inari, and Moegi
Konohamaru, Inari, and Moegi had climbed back down the mountain and were now walking by the wall which surrounded the Hokage Tower. As they walked past the gate leading to the now destroyed tower, Konohamaru suddenly stopped in his tracks as he heard something that sounded like a heart-beat.
"Hey, Konohamaru-kun, what is it?" Moegi asked as she and Inari stopped as well. Konohamaru then looked towards the rubble which was once the Hokage Tower before running towards it as the heart-beats got louder.
"Konohamaru…?" Inari asked as Konohamaru started digging through the rubble.
"Hey, help me here!" The Sarutobi said and Inari and Moegi ran over to the rubble before beginning to dig as well.
Soon after, Konohamaru removed a piece of wood to reveal a small arm lying there.
"Hey, I found something!" He yelled and Inari and Moegi came over to him before they proceeded to remove the rubble which was covering the body of the one the arm belonged to.
When they were done removing the rubble, it was discovered that there weren't only one there, but two; one they immediately recognized as Maple who was lying atop an elderly woman.
"Maple-chan!" Inari said.
"Oh no! Konohamaru-kun, do you think that they're…?" Moegi asked as she looked at her long-time friend, but he then shook his head before going down on his knees and placing his hand on Maple's back.
"Maple-chan's still alive, but I don't think the woman is." He said.
"How do you know that?" Inari asked.
"I don't know. It's just this strange feeling that I'm getting." Konohamaru said before adding "Anyway, we need to get her to a hospital." Konohamaru then moved to lift Maple up on his back, but he was stopped by Inari.
"Wait. I-I'll c-carry her." The villager from Wave stuttered as he was sporting a light blush.
"What's up with him" Moegi asked as she and Konohamaru looked at each other.
"I dunno." Konohamaru said.
Konoha, arena, lookout tower
Everyone who'd been there defending the arena were standing around the body of the Sandaime Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. Amongst them were Kakashi, Guy, Obito, Nawaki, Genma, Kurenai, Aoba, Kaiza, and the white clad ANBU.
"No pulse. He's dead, alright." Nawaki said as he was holding his hand over Hiruzen's wrist, checking his pulse.
"To think that even Hokage-sama could…" Guy said.
"No one's immune to death." Everyone turned towards the voice to see Farore walking towards them "That is a very sad, but real truth."
"Farore-sama…" Kakashi said.
"Farore-sama, you were the one of the three Golden Goddesses who created all living things, so can you do anything the heal the Hokage?" Kaiza asked and everyone who didn't know who Farore was gasped in shock as their eyes widened.
"You're wrong on one account; I didn't create life, I merely created the necessary building blocks for it. I let evolution do the rest." Farore said.
"But still, you brought back both Obito and Nawaki-san from death, so can't you do the same here?" Kakashi asked.
"Neither Obito-kun nor Nawaki-kun were dead and besides, this was taken out of my hands even before the Hokage died." Farore said.
"What do you mean?" Genma asked.
"Notice the seal on Hiruzen-kun's stomach?" Farore asked and everyone turned to look at the seal "That's the seal for the Fuinjutsu, Shiki Fujin; a sealing Jutsu in which the user gives up his own life to pretty much drag his opponent with him into Shini-kun's stomach."
"Shini-kun?" Kurenai asked.
"Shinigami-sama." Obito clarified.
"The sealing apparently failed though, but either way, if you even initiate this Jutsu, your soul's already doomed, whether you manage to take your opponent with you or not." Farore said.
"But if you're one of the three Golden Goddesses, then wouldn't that make you the Shinigami's superior? You can just order him to let Hokage-sama go." Guy said.
"Once again I see just how little mortals know of us Gods. We Gods are – like you shinobi – divided into different ranks, the higher the rank, the more powerful the God. In terms that you would understand, these ranks are called; D-class, C-class, and so on with F-class being the weakest. The highest rank is Triple S-class of which there are only currently nine Gods, these Gods are also referred to as the "Holy Kings", and Shini-kun's one of them." Farore explained.
"And what rank are you?" Kakashi asked.
"B-class." Farore stated, causing almost everyone's eyes to widen. She's only a B-class and she wiped the floor with Ganondorf, who's the strongest ninja currently alive.
'She's only a B-class? Then I shudder to think what a Triple S-class would be capable of.' Kaiza thought.
Next day
Naruto opened his eyes to see a white ceiling and upon looking at his surroundings, he concluded that he had to be in a hospital. He felt something heavy at his side and he looked down to see Farore sitting by his bedside, resting her head on his left arm as she was fast asleep if her snoring was any indication.
"So you're finally awake, huh?" Naruto then looked up to see Jiraiya standing next to Farore's sleeping form.
"Ero-sennin?" Naruto asked as he got up in a sitting position.
"I must say that I'm impressed. Not only do you have control over the Kyubi's power, but you even managed to summon him via the Kuchiyose." Jiraiya said.
"Heh heh. It's all thanks to Obito-san's training." Naruto said with his trademark foxy grin before asking "But, what about Sasuke, Haku, Shino, Shikamaru, and everyone else."
"No need to worry, your friends are all right." Jiraiya said.
"Oh, that's good." Naruto said before asking "What about the battle? Is it over?"
"Calm down, calm down, geez. The battle ended yesterday, Suna, Oto, and Tani all retreated after Farore-sama here had defeated Ganondorf." Jiraiya said.
"Really? Does that mean that Ganondorf is…?" Naruto started, but Jiraiya cut him off.
"No. He managed to get away, but a lot of his subordinates were killed, so he'll have to think twice before attacking us again." He said as Naruto put his hand on the sleeping Goddess' head and brushed it through her hair as he looked down on her.
"She's been staying here by your side ever since you were brought into the hospital." Jiraiya said.
"Farore-chan…" Naruto said before looking up at Jiraiya and asking "What about jiji? Is he all right?" The question was only met by silence, however.
Next day
Everyone in the village had assembled as there was a long row of pictures in front of them, each picture showing a Konoha shinobi that had died in the battle, there was even a picture of Zabuza and one of Syrup. In the exact middle was one of Hiruzen which had been elevated a little above the others.
Now, they normally would have used the roof of the Hokage Tower for this, but seeing as said tower had been destroyed, they were using the arena which was used for the Chunin Exam finals instead.
As Naruto was standing there next to Farore – who had surprisingly enough dressed herself in black clothes – he looked down to his left where Konohamaru was standing to see said boy crying. Iruka – who was standing on the other side of said boy – also looked down at him as he put his hand on the young boy's shoulder while remembering a conversation he himself once had with the Sandaime.
Flashback
A young Iruka was standing before the memorial stone, crying as he failed to notice the aging Hokage approaching him.
"It has already been a year, eh… It's not easy to hide one's grief and pretend to laugh. I have heard from your homeroom teacher that at the academy you're the butt of everyone's jokes." Hiruzen said before Iruka turned around.
"I-I'm not sad at all! It is honorable for shinobi to die in the line of duty!" He yelled before pointing at the stone "Both tou-san and kaa-san… helped defend this village from the fox monster at the cost of their lives… they're heroes! And I am their son! I'm not sad because I'm never alone! And these, these are tears of joy…" Hiruzen then suddenly bent down and hugged him.
"Enough… A boy hugs his knees only when he feels truly alone… However, as you say, you are not alone… for all of Konoha's shinobi carry the Will of Fire within them." He said before pulling away.
"… "Will of Fire"?" Iruka asked.
"The burning desire to defend this village. So long as one bears this Will of Fire, each and every one of those who live in this village are family… My dear Iruka… do you possess it…?" Hiruzen said and Iruka looked at the stone before speaking up.
"Yeah." He said and Hiruzen smiled.
Flashback end
Iruka kneeled down next to Konohamaru before bringing the crying boy into a hug.
Memorial stone
Kakashi was standing at the memorial stone as ANBU captain, Yugao approached from behind him with a bouquet of flowers.
"That for Hayate…?" Kakashi asked before Yugao walked over to the stone and put down the bouquet.
"The funeral service for everyone who died in the battle has already started… you better hurry…" Kakashi said as he started walking back towards the village.
"And you, Kakashi? Paying respects to Rin…? Instead of constantly inventing new excuses for why you're late, why don't you just come here earlier?" Yugao asked.
"… I do… first thing in the morning… It's just that once I get here… I can't stop thinking about what an idiot I used to be…"
As they were talking, Jiraiya was standing by the three stumps on the training field as remembered when he and his teammates first became a team under Hiruzen.
Flashback
"There are two bells. The fact that there are only two means…" Hiruzen said as he was holding up two bells in front of Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade.
"… One student will end up tied to the stump…?" Orochimaru guessed.
"Good guess, Orochimaru." Hiruzen said.
"All right! I'm up for it!" Jiraiya exclaimed, however, later, he was the one that ended up tied to the stump.
"Ha ha ha… Jiraiya, I win the bet! You're the one on the stump, like I guessed." Tsunade said.
"Shut up, Tsunade! Ya tomboy freak!" Jiraiya yelled.
"What didja say, you egg-head perv?" Tsunade yelled as she grabbed Jiraiya by his collar.
"All right, all right. Break it up now… Tsunade, you and Orochimaru can go home." Hiruzen said.
"Yes, sir." Tsunade said as she walked away before Orochimaru followed behind her.
"… Sheesh… It's downright embarrassing for a ninja to fall for such obvious traps over and over again." Hiruzen said after a while.
"But…" Jiraiya started, but he was cut off by his sensei.
"You could learn a thing or two from Orochimaru." He said.
"Sarutobi-sensei, you're always "Orochimaru this" and "Orochimaru that". But for when I go researching, I use transparency Jutsu. I haven't been caught yet." Jiraiya said.
"… Sheesh… All right, let's see just how good these spying Jutsu of yours are… I'm going with you next time…" Hiruzen said while blushing.
"… You old perv, Sarutobi-sensei…" Jiraiya said
Flashback end
Jiraiya looked down on the ground.
Arena
Maple – who stood in-between Inari and Farore – looked at the picture of Syrup as tears streamed down along her face.
"Syrup-sama…" She said before Inari put his hand on her shoulder, hoping to comfort her, and then she instinctively turned around, clutched Inari's arm, and buried her head in his chest, and the boy brought his other arm around her back.
"There, there…" He said.
Naruto – who watched this – then looked at the picture of Hiruzen before asking "Iruka-sensei… why do people… risk their lives for the sake of others…?"
"When one person dies… they pass away. Along with their past, their current life, and their future… Many people die on missions or through war. And when they die, it happens startlingly quickly… and simply. Hayate is one such example… Those who die have dreams and goals… but they all have something else just as important. Parents, siblings, friends, their fellow villagers, people who are important to them… Bonds form between them and those who are precious to them from the time they are born, through trusting and helping each other… These strings that connect them, as time passes… grow thicker and stronger… There's no logic or reason to it. People just do things like that… because they have precious things to protect…" Iruka explained.
"Yeah… I think I'm starting… to get that now… But… it's painful to die, too." Naruto said.
"Well, the Sandaime Hokage did not die in vain. He did leave all of us something important… Well, don't worry about it… you'll understand eventually." Kakashi – who had finally arrived – said.
"Hey…! Give me some credit. I understand." Naruto said.
Later when the funeral service was over, Naruto ran over to his sensei and teammates while waving goodbye to Iruka.
"Well then, Iruka-sensei!" The hyperactive blond said.
"Yeah." Iruka said as he looked at Naruto's retreating back while thinking 'Sandaime Hokage-sama… it seems all the little tree leaves of Konoha have splendidly inherited the Will of Fire of which you spoke… Those little embers that alight upon the tree leaves will eventually blaze strong and fierce… and will come to light and protect this village once more… with a new Hokage…'
"Oh, Naruto-kun! Wait for…" Farore said, but then she suddenly felt some kind of force on her shoulder.
'Farore…' She heard a voice say, and her eyes dilated as she recognized the voice.
One week after the invasion
Within a make-shift council chamber were every member of the council present. They were sitting at a horse-shoe-shaped table and at the front of the room was a table with four seats behind it where the elders were sitting, though they were missing one seeing as the Hokage was dead. Sitting on a chair in the middle of the room was Ventus, who was the only Tani-nin that hadn't escaped and on his lap was Tatsumaki.
"What can you tell us of the Tanikage's abilities?" Konoha elder, Homura asked.
"Nothing. I've never seen him fight before." Ventus said.
"In that case, can you tell us what the security on the village is?" Konoha elder, Koharu asked.
"Tani's ninja system is set up so that if you don't directly work on something, you won't know anything about it. In other words; only those that work on security would know the answer to that." Ventus said.
"Then what about Tani's location? We've gotten several reports from ANBU we've sent to investigate, but none of the ANBU ever returned and the reports were never clear." Inoichi said.
"Knowing Tani's location wouldn't help you much since none of you would ever even get close enough, no matter how big an invasion force you were to send." Ventus said.
"NANI?! And what's that supposed to mean? You threatening us?" One of the civilian council members yelled.
"Quite the contrary." Ventus said calmly.
"Care to elaborate?" Hiashi asked.
"A while back, Ganondorf found a book containing powerful magic; it was one of the Forbidden Seven." Ventus said.
"But here I was under the impression that the Forbidden Seven were all sealed somewhere deep beneath Konoha." Shikaku said.
"That's not entirely correct." Ventus said.
Memorial stone training field
"What do you mean that he only took one of the books?" Sakura asked as she, Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, Shikamaru, Kakashi, Obito, Nawaki, Tekashi, Kaiza, Legion, Jiraiya, and Erza were at the training field.
"When the Forbidden Seven were first hidden in the Great Library – instead of putting them all in one place – they were hidden at several different locations, miles apart from one-another, each book being surrounded by six fake ones. As soon as someone were to take one of the books, however, whether it be the real one or a fake, the other six would suddenly vanish and reappear exactly one hundred years later, ensuring that no-one would get a second chance." Legion explained.
"Then, wouldn't there be a 6-to-1 chance that he picked a fake one?" Shikamaru asked.
"Unfortunately, it wouldn't be that simple." Jiraiya said.
"What do you mean?" Neji asked.
"Think about it. Only one who's born with some kind of connection to a God would be able to even reach the books. Ventus is the only son of Farore-sama, so why didn't they send him instead?" Jiraiya said.
"I dunno." Naruto said.
"It's Ray's powerful sensory abilities." Kaiza said, catching everyone's attention "His sensory abilities are even far beyond those of an Uzumaki sensory shinobi."
"So, you're saying that he was able sense the difference between the real book and the fake ones?" Sakura asked.
"That's exactly what we're saying." Nawaki said.
"Though, this isn't the first time that one of the books have been stolen." Legion informed.
"What do you mean?" Sasuke asked.
"Once, about 400 years ago another book was stolen from the library. We have as of yet to locate it." Legion said.
Make-shift council chamber
"So you're saying that Ganondorf somehow found this book?" Choza asked, and Ventus nodded.
"It was from Makai that Ganondorf learned of the Forbidden Seven." Ventus said.
""Makai"?" Shibi asked.
"The book's name." Ventus said.
"It's got a name?" Koharu asked.
"Yes. All of the Forbidden Seven has names; this one was named after the Demon World because of the unique spells it contains." Ventus said.
"And what spells are those?" Hiashi asked.
"The ability to create demons." Ventus said, causing everyone to gasp "So far Ganondorf is only able to create low-level monsters like Deku Babas and Octoroks. The strongest monsters he's been able to create so far being Gohmas and a Queen Gohma, though he made them from spiders, so it was easier."
""The ability to create demons"… Hmm. Now that I think about it, I've heard of something like that before." Konoha elder, Danzo said.
"I wouldn't be surprised, after all, the book did become known world-wide under another name 400 years ago." Ventus said.
"Another name?" Homura asked.
"The Book of Zeref." Ventus said and everyone's eyes widened.
Memorial stone training field
""The Book of Zeref"?" Erza said in shock.
"Then that means it must've been Zeref who stole the book." Kakashi said.
"Yes. That's what I've been suspecting as well." Legion said.
"Wait, who's this Zeref guy that you're talking about?" Naruto asked.
"400 years ago, during a time when Dragons reigned in the world, there lived a Black Wizard with unimaginable powers, possibly even greater than those of the Shodai Hokage and Uchiha Madara; this Black Wizard was Zeref." Jiraiya explained.
"But I thought Zeref was the one who…" Erza started, but she got cut off by Obito.
"Zeref didn't write the book, he merely found it and was somehow able to decipher its contents." He said.
"Are you saying that the book's written in code?" Sakura asked.
"No. It's written in an ancient language that even those who knows and can read it still won't be able to read all of it. It's the same language as the one written on the Uchiha stone tablet underneath the Nakano Shrine." Nawaki said.
"So you need a Sharingan to read it?" Sasuke asked.
"No. The Sharingan is only a short-cut." Nawaki said.
"But what about the one that Ray stole? Which book is that?" Kaiza asked.
"To be perfectly honest, I don't really know. I know the names and which kind of spells each book has, but I don't know where any of them were hidden." Legion said and some of the others let out sighs of disappointment before Legion caught their attention as he added "However, the books are very powerful, and even when not used their spells could still take some effect, though it wouldn't possibly reach the surface which is why they were hidden so far under-ground."
"Wait, could it affect the Uchiha tombs under the Nakano Shrine?" Sasuke asked.
"Hmm… I believe so, yes. But only barely. Why?" Legion said.
"When I was in the tomb a month ago, the dead Uchiha rose up in the form of Stalfoses and Redeads." Sasuke said.
"Really? Then it's worse than I thought." Legion said.
"Why's that?" Naruto asked.
"If what Sasuke-san says is true, then the book which Ray took must be Necronomicon; a book which can revive the dead." Legion said, causing everyone to gasp.
Make-shift council chamber
"Thank you for all your help. You may go now." Danzo said before motioning for the two guards at the door to escort Ventus back to his temporary apartment, and the guards then walked over to Ventus before escorting him to the door.
The reason they didn't take him to a cell was because Farore had asked for him to be released, though Danzo still had guards watching him.
'If what Ventus told us is true, then in just a few years, Ganondorf would be able to create giant monsters from the simplest of tools.' Danzo thought to himself.
Outside
Outside the make-shift council chamber was Farore sitting on a bench as she thought back to what happened a week earlier.
Flashback
Farore walked up to the top of the Hokage faces on the monument to find the one that had called out to her earlier. It was an adult man who looked to be in his fifties, he had long hair that reached his mid-back which looked like it was constantly on fire, said fire being an unusual purple color. His garments consisted of ancient Greek-style clothing except that it was black.
"Ah. Farore." The man said as he looked out over the village from atop Hiruzen's head.
"Hades." Farore said with venom in her tone as she took her place atop Minato's head "What's a Triple S-class like you doing here?"
"Oh, I'm just enjoying the view." Hades said.
"Liar." Farore said as she crossed her arms under her chest.
"What? You don't trust me? And after everything that I've done for you." Hades said.
""Everything you've done for me", my ass. You've wanted nothing but to see me dead since day 1. You might be able to fool the Olympians, but not me." Farore said before adding "You still didn't answer my question, by the way. What the hell are you doing here?"
"Your actions during the invasion didn't go entirely unnoticed. You – my dear Farore – will be put on trial one week from now in this world's time. Along with myself, the jury will consist of five of the current nine Triple S-class Gods." Hades said before vanishing in a burst of purple flames.
Flashback end
Suddenly the door to the make-shift council chamber opened and Ventus stepped out along with the two guards. Farore then rose to her feet with a smile as Ventus looked at her, but said smile faded as Ventus and the guards walked away before she could say anything.
'Ventus-kun…' She thought before turning to the door to the council chamber and walked in.
As she entered the room, everyone's eyes turned to her.
"Huh? Hey, who's the kid?" One of the civilian council members asked.
"Her name's Farore. I'm the one who asked her to come." Danzo said.
""Farore", you say? So she's the all-powerful Goddess who beat the snot out of Ganondorf." Tsume said, causing the eyes of everyone on the civilian side of the council to widen.
"A-a-a Goddess…?!" One of the civilians uttered.
"Yeah. From what I hear, she's apparently the Goddess of Courage of the three Golden Goddesses." Shikaku said.
The civilian council member who first got out of his shock then rose to his feet and said "Well, in that case; Farore-sama would it be all right if you could do us a favor?"
"Hmm? And what's that?" Farore asked as she walked into the middle of the room.
"Well, you see; as you probably know, less than 13 years ago, our village was attacked by the Kyubi no Yoko, but it was in the end stopped by the Yondaime." The man said.
"Yes, and what about it?" Farore asked as she crossed her arms under her chest, already having an idea where this was going and she wasn't alone.
'He can't seriously be thinking what I think he's thinking. If so – and if what Shikamaru told me is true – then things are about to get pretty ugly…' Shikaku thought.
'Heh. He's got no idea that he's digging his own grave.' Hiashi thought with a light chuckle as he had his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes were closed.
"The demon somehow managed to survive and took on a Hylian body before starting to live in our village; no doubt planning to destroy us all as soon as he gets the chance. So if possible, I would like to ask you if you could kill him; he goes by the name of Uzumaki Naruto." The council member said.
"Sorry, I didn't quite catch that, could you please repeat yourself?" Farore asked as she tilted her head to the side with closed eyes and was sporting a smile, though every shinobi in the room could instantly tell that it was fake.
"I said that I would like if you could kill…" That was as far as he got as both the part of the table that was in front of him and his chair was blown to splinters and he suddenly found himself pinned to the wall with a very angry Farore's fist deep into his gut.
"Care to say that again?" The pissed-off Goddess said.
"I suppose that this wouldn't be the best time to tell you this, but Farore-sama and Naruto are in a romantic relationship." Danzo said, causing every civilian members' eyes to widen.
Farore let the guy she had knocked out fall to the floor as she walked back to the middle of the room before staring at Danzo.
"So why did you want me to come here, anyway?" She asked.
"I would like for you to tell us what exactly happened the night that the Kyubi attacked. As a Goddess, I'm sure that you would know." Danzo said.
"And yet another misconception among you mortals. Even Gods don't know everything, you know, and my knowledge of what happened that night is fairly limited, but I'll tell you what I know." Farore said.
Naruto
Naruto was walking through the streets of the village, thinking of what Legion had told them as he was holding Dimitri to his chest. As he walked, he noticed Ventus with Tatsumaki on his shoulder and the two guards that had been assigned to the Demi-God.
"Ah. Hey, Ventus!" He called out as he waved to the green-haired boy.
"Naruto…" Ventus said as he stopped in his tracks and looked at the blond.
"So are you heading back to your apartment?" Naruto asked.
"Temporary apartment." Ventus corrected and as he saw Naruto's questioning look, he elaborated "I'm not planning to stay here for long, I'm going to be leaving tomorrow."
"Really? You could really be of help to Konoha, you know." Naruto said.
"Iie. Konoha doesn't need the help of a villain who helped destroying it. What it needs are heroes who would give everything to defend it." Ventus said and Naruto tilted his head to the side.
"And I've got no idea what you just said." He said.
"Don't worry, someday you will." Ventus said before walking past the blond boy as the guards followed him.
"Ventus!" Naruto said, causing Ventus and the guards to turn around as the blond looked over his shoulder "You said that you'll be leaving tomorrow; are you returning to Tani?"
"No. I can never set foot inside that village again." Ventus said before turning around again and continuing towards his temporary apartment with the two guards following behind him.
Kiba
Kiba was at a training field, punching the air as he was trying to do that fire thing that he'd pulled off during the battle, though he'd had little luck so far. As he was doing that, Akamaru was sitting on the ground, watching him.
"Training hard?" Kiba and Akamaru both turned to the source of the voice to see a woman who looked to be in her late teens sitting on the middle stump with her right leg over her left, her right elbow on her knee and her head lying on the palm of her hand.
She had tan skin, red hair in a pony-tail which went all the way down to her ass, red eyes, and she wore red clothing which were quite revealing. Kiba could even see much of the woman's cleavage, which caused him to blush.
"Uhh… Wh-who are you…?" He stuttered, causing the woman to chuckle.
"Can't you see the resemblance? I'm Farore's older sister." The woman said.
"F-Farore-sama's sister?! Then that means that you're…" Kiba said as he pointed at the woman.
"Bingo! I'm Din, the Goddess of Power." Din said.
"But what are you doing here, then?" Kiba asked.
"I heard how you fought to protect my younger sister, so…" Din said before vanishing in a burst of flames and she reappeared again just in front of Kiba and put her right arm over his right shoulder while leaning down to his left ear and whispered seductively "… I thought I should give you a reward."
"A reward…?" Kiba asked before he suddenly heard Din's voice coming from inside his head.
'Inuzuka Kiba-kun, look into my eyes and realize your destiny.' As she said that, she Kiba slowly turned their respective heads towards each other, and as soon as their eyes met, a blur of images passed through Kiba's mind.
Vision
Kiba saw what appeared to be some kind of temple with five towers, four of which had the symbol of a different season. He then saw a girl in her late teens who had long red hair in a pony-tail, tan skin, and red clothes who was dancing and in her right hand, she was holding some kind of rod.
Then he saw a large volcano before seeing what it looked like inside the mountain. There were a bunch of rocks lying on the lava which one would be able to use in order to get through the place, and in the middle was some kind of shrine where the tani-nin Terra was standing.
Then he saw an orange pearl with Din's mark on it lying underneath a red statue of a woman he figured must've been Din herself.
Vision end
When the vision ended, Kiba took a few steps back before falling down on his rear.
"Itai." He uttered while rubbing his rear before looking around to see that Din was nowhere to be seen "Hey, where'd she go?"
Din
Din was walking through a street in the village as she thought 'Kiba-kun, now that you've seen a bit of your destiny, it's time for you to leave this village and find it.'
The next day
Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Dimitri were at the village gates as they were saying their goodbyes to Ventus and Tatsumaki.
"Good luck on your future battles against Ganondorf and whatever other threats that you'll be facing." Ventus said.
"What about you? What are you going to do from now on?" Sakura asked and Ventus looked down on the ground.
"I don't know." Ventus said.
"So, have you said goodbye to Farore-chan yet?" Naruto asked, and Ventus froze for a second before answering.
"No." He said.
"Really? But you're mother and son, aren't you? You should go see her." Naruto said and Dimitri let out a grunt of agreement.
"No, I wouldn't be able to face her. Not after everything I've done." Ventus said before turning around and walking towards the trees. However, he hadn't got far when he suddenly froze upon seeing something, or rather someone standing before him.
Konoha graveyard
Maple was standing before the grave of Syrup as she thought back to what her master's last words were.
"Maple, listen… I want you to go to Mount Crenel. There you will find Shizen of the Five Grand Witches, she can help you become stronger…"
"Syrup-sama…" Maple said quietly to herself.
"Hey, Maple-chan!" Maple turned towards the voice to see Inari coming towards her with a bouquet of flowers. When reaching Maple, he put the flowers down in front of Syrup's grave before putting his hands together and closed his eyes in prayer.
"What are you doing here?" Maple asked.
"What? I can't pay my respects?" Inari asked before he opened his eyes, put down his arms and looked at Maple "Have you figured out what to do from now on?"
"What…?" Maple asked as she looked at him.
"I mean, your master's dead, so from now on you won't have anyone to look after you." Inari clarified before Maple turned to Syrup's grave.
"No… Syrup-sama told me to go to Mount Crenel and find Shizen-sama. But, I have no idea where Mount Crenel even is." She said before turning to Inari "And what about you? What are you gonna do?"
"Me? I've decided to stay here and become a ninja." Inari said.
"You, a ninja?" Maple asked as she lightly chuckled.
"Hey, what's so funny?" Inari asked.
"Ah, nothing." Maple said as she turned away from Inari with her arms crossed over her chest before asking "Have you told your parents and grandfather?"
"Hai. They were surprised, but accepted my decision." Inari said.
"Well, I think I'll stay here for a while as well." Maple said as she looked over her shoulder at Inari.
Konoha gates
"Okaa-san…" Ventus said as Farore was standing a few feet in front of him.
"Ventus-kun…" She said before walking towards him, and when she was standing directly in front of him, she slapped him so hard that his head made a 90 degree turn and at the place where Farore had hit him was a red hand imprint.
Farore then brought him into a hug as tears started welling up in her eyes.
"I thought you were dead… We looked all over for you, but never found you." She said as tears started streaming down her face and Ventus returned the hug.
"Me too… I was looking everywhere, trying to find you, but I never did. Okaa-san… I-I love you." Ventus said as tears were flowing down his face, and Naruto and the others were looking at them with smiles on their faces.
Land of Valleys, Tanigakure
Ganondorf was lying on a hospital bed in the Tani hospital as he was still wounded from his battle with Farore. As he was lying there, he thought about his battle with Farore, trying to find any flaws or openings in her techniques before the door opened, catching his attention as Orochimaru came in.
"Kukuku. She sure did a number on you, didn't she?" The snake Sannin said.
"Humph. Like you're one to talk." Ganondorf said before looking back at the ceiling while asking "Have you found it?"
"If by "found it", you mean having acquired it, then no. However, we have been able to locate it." Orochimaru said.
"Oh? Then where is it?" Ganondorf asked.
"In the ruins of Uzushiogakure no Sato." Orochimaru said.
Tanikage monument
Flare and Chilly were standing before Luna atop the cliff above the Tanikage faces.
"Flare-kun, Chilly-chan, it's time for you to finally master the Level Magics of fire and ice respectively." Luna said.
"Nani? FINALLY!" Flare exclaimed.
"But Luna-sensei, neither me nor Flare has ever been able to master them." Chilly said.
"True. But since Ventus-kun stayed behind in Konoha and Aqua-chan disappeared last night, we need more people with Level Magic." Luna said before turning around and walked towards a large statue of the Yondaime. She put her palm on the base of the statue and suddenly it moved to the side to reveal a square-shaped hole in the ground with a set of stairs going down.
She then walked down the stairs as Flare and Chilly followed after.
Land of Fire, Konoha, east gate
A few hours after Ventus and Tatsumaki left were Naruto, Dimitri, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Inari, Maple, Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon all assembled at the village's east gate to say goodbye to Tazuna, Tsunami, and Kaiza.
"Well, Inari, good luck on becoming a ninja. I'm sure that you'll do great and become strong." Kaiza said.
"Thanks, otou-san." Inari said before Tsunami knelt down before him and brought him into a hug.
"Make sure that you take good care of yourself and eat properly." Tsunami said.
"I will." Inari said as he returned the hug before Tsunami pulled away a short while later and rose back up to her feet.
"By the way, Inari." Tazuna said, catching the boy's attention as he pulled out a flute "This belonged to your real father before he passed away. From what I understand, it's been in his family for generations, so he would probably like for you to have it."
"Thanks." Inari said as he took the flute.
"Now then, I will just return to the Land of Waves to gather men and material needed to help you guys reconstruct the village, so you can expect me back in just a few days." Tazuna said.
"Take good care of Inari, will you?" Kaiza said as he looked at Kakashi.
"We will." The Jonin said before asking "By the way, Kaiza-san, what are you going to do from now on?"
" Hmm? What do you mean?" Kaiza asked.
"I mean; you were once a ninja of Tanigakure, weren't you? You left the village once Ganondorf became the Tanikage because you didn't like his ideals, but now that he's got one – possibly two – of the Forbidden Seven, I imagine that you can't just sit idly by." Kakashi said.
"You're right. Truth be told, I've been asked by Farore-sama to join the Seven Angels of Purgatory, so I'll just return home to get some things before meeting up with Obito-san." Kaiza said.
"Well, then, we should get going." Tazuna said before beginning to walk away.
"Good-bye." Tsunami said as she bowed before following after her father along with Kaiza.
"See ya." The former Tani-nin said.
As Naruto and the others then waved good-bye to the trio, the blond suddenly felt something on his shoulder and he turned around, but nothing was there.
"Naruto? What is it?" Sakura asked as she and Sasuke also turned around to see that there was a woman waving them over to her before turning around and walking away, a woman who Sasuke instantly recognized as being Din. The three of them then looked at each other before running after her.
"I wonder if I made the right decision…" Inari thought out loud.
"What are you talking about? This way we can see each other more often." Konohamaru said.
"Yeah!" Moegi said.
"Umm… Excuse me…" Maple said as she had walked over to Kakashi.
"Hmm? What is it?" The Jonin asked as he looked down at the apprentice witch.
"Well, before she died, Syrup-sama told me to go to Mount Crenel to find Shizen-sama, but the thing is that I don't know where Mount Crenel is. So could you help me?" Maple said.
"Sorry, but if you were to go to Mount Crenel as you are now, you'd just end up dead. The witch, Shizen isn't looking for the company of any Human or Hylian, she prefers to be surrounded by the forces of nature, so she would kill you the moment you set foot on the mountain." Kakashi said.
"Then what am I supposed to do?" Maple yelled at the man.
"I think that you should probably wait with going there till you're strong enough to climb the mountain and reach her." Kakashi said.
"And how am I supposed to do that without someone to teach me?" Maple asked.
"Well, you could always join the Ninja Academy." Kakashi suggested and Maple was about to speak out against that idea, but her train of thoughts were interrupted when Inari spoke up.
"Hey, where'd Naruto-nii-san and the others go?" He asked and the others looked around, but couldn't find them.
"That's strange. Naruto-nii-san even left behind Dimitri-kun." Moegi said as she knelt down to the red dinosaur and patted him on the back.
Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Din
Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura where in an alleyway, looking at Din who was standing before them.
"What do you want?" Sasuke asked.
"What? We haven't seen each other in so long and that is all you have to say?" Din asked.
"Answer my question." Sasuke demanded.
"Watch your tongue, gaki!" Din said in a very intimidating tone, causing all three of the Hylians before her to take a few steps back "And as for why I'm here; well, i guessed that Farore-chan neglected to tell you guys, but she's been put on trial." This caused everyone's eyes to widen.
""Been put on trial"? What for?" Sakura asked.
"For interfering in the affairs of mortals, in other words; you." Din said.
"If you guys have a law like that then doesn't that mean that you'd be putting yourself in danger just by telling us this?" Sasuke asked, but Din shook her head.
"Iie. We're allowed to come down to the mortal plane and talk with mortals, and we can even form relationships with them. But we can't help them out in wars or anything major like that." Din explained.
"But… if she hadn't helped us, then we wouldn't have had anyone who could stand up against Ganondorf!" Naruto yelled.
"You really think that the Gods care about that? I'm sorry to say it, but most of us are actually pretty thick-headed morons that only cares about our own race." Din said.
"So, umm… Din-sama, what's the punishment for interfering?" Sakura asked.
"Worst case, they'll strip her of her powers." Din said, causing Sakura to let out a sigh of relief.
"Well, at least she'll still be alive." She said.
"Don't you get it? A God suddenly losing his or her powers is like a bird suddenly losing its wings, they won't be able to survive. If Farore-chan is stripped of her powers, she'll start becoming weaker and sicker as time passes on, and the longer time passes the worse it'll get until – in a year's time – she'll die. It's basically a death sentence." Din said, causing everyone's eyes to widen.
'Farore-chan…' Naruto thought as images of his divine girlfriend flooded his mind.
"There's no need to worry yourselves though, this is only the worst case scenario. Not to mention that the jury will be formed of five Triple S-class Gods, three in which are quite fond of her." Din said.
"What's a Triple S-class God?" Sasuke asked.
"Triple S-class is the highest rank for us Gods. I myself am a AA-class, so I wouldn't stand a chance against any of them." Din said.
"Who are those five Triple S-class?" Naruto asked.
"Well I could tell you, but I can guarantee you that you'd only know of one of them." Din said.
"Tell us anyway." Naruto said.
"All right. They're; Nayru-nee, the Goddess of Wisdom, Odin-sama, King of the Asgards, Zeus-sama, leader of the Olympians, Hades, ruler of the Underworld, and the Sun God, Ra." Din said.
"You're right. I only know of Nayru." Naruto said.
"What about a lawyer? Farore is getting one, right?" Sasuke asked.
"No worries there. The other Gods were kind enough to let us choose a suitable lawyer." Din said.
"Who is it?" Naruto asked, causing Din to smirk.
God Realm, Heaven, God's Palace
Farore was sitting on a bench in a long hallway, the walls, floor, and ceiling of said hallway being plated in pure gold. After she had said her good-byes to Ventus, she had immediately gone off to the God Realm, and she'd still been in the transit between the Mortal Realm and the God Realm if Odin hadn't come to pick her up.
"Farore-sama." A man with long blond hair and dressed in a white robe said as he approached her "Your lawyer's here."
Farore then got to her feet and smiled brightly as she saw the man behind the one in the white robe. It was a tall human with spiky black hair that reminded her a little of Sasuke's and he had one bang going down in front of his forehead. His attire consisted of a blue business suit and matching blue pants.
The man in the white robes then left as Farore said "Guess I'm in your hands then, ne, Phoenix-san?"
Mortal Realm, Land of Fire, Konoha, Sakura's room
Sakura was sitting at her desk in her room as she was looking through the Book of Mudora until she spotted some text which really caught her eye. She then closed the book before rising to her feet and she ran off.
"I'm going out for a bit." She said as she ran past her father and out the door before hurrying in the direction of the training field.
Jiraiya
Jiraiya was giggling like a pervert as he stared at the women's bath through a telescope.
"You still engage in such foolish activities…?" Someone behind him asked.
"Technically, it's research." Jiraiya said as he looked over his shoulder to see Homura and Koharu "If it isn't old man Homura and mistress Koharu… And just what business do the chief counselors have with me?"
"What business, you say…? You ought to know, without me having to spell it out." Homura said.
"Why such grim faces? I heard the talks with Suna went well." Jiraiya said.
"… At this point, our relationship with Sunagakure is not an urgent matter. Right now, Konohagakure's strength is at a frightful low… Under these circumstances, our number one priority must be to anticipate and prepare for any further crises." Homura said.
"… We don't know when or if our neighbors will make a bold move. Therefore – until the village has restored its strength – we have decided to gather the top ninja from each team and assemble an emergency executive council to handle the situation. … But first… we need a strong and trustworthy leader. At the present time, there are seeds of trouble scattered all about… Ganondorf and Orochimaru aren't our only problems." Koharu said.
"Understand this… one fundamental policy cannot ignore… we need our Godaime Hokage as soon as possible." Homura said.
"And so yesterday, in an emergency meeting with the Daimiyo of the Land of Fire, Jiraiya, it was decided that it would be you." Koharu said.
"Sorry, but no thanks. I'm not suited for such a…" Jiraiya started, but he was cut off by Homura.
"The decision has already been made. Besides, if you – touted as one of the Sannin – are not suited for it, then who is?" The aging man said.
"If it's one of the Sannin you're after, there's still one other… Tsunade…" Jiraiya said.
"… She may indeed be an appropriate candidate, but…. We do not know her whereabouts at all." Koharu said.
"I'll track her down and bring her back. Would that be acceptable?" Jiraiya said.
"… However…" Homura started, but he was cut off by Jiraiya.
"As opposed to unwilling, apathetic me, the sharp, go-getting Princess Tsunade is much better suited for Hokage." Jiraiya said and after getting no reply, he said "Well?"
"… All right… We'll put it under consideration immediately… However, we shall attach three ANBU to you for your Tsunade search party…" Homura said.
"Don't worry, I swear I won't run away. I don't need chaperones. Just… there is one fellow I'd like to take with me on my travels. I'd like to see what he can do." Jiraiya said.
Memorial stone training field
Sakura had put the book down on the middle stump as Naruto, Navi, Dimitri, Sasuke, Tael, Tatl, Kakashi, Obito, Tekashi, and Erza were standing around her and the stump.
"Take a look at this…" The pinkette said before she started reading a paragraph from the book out loud ""With the Six Stones of Power, the Chosen Ones must gather, and only with the help of the Earth, Wind, and Waves can they unlock the Door of Time and reveal the Evil's Bane.""
"Hmmm… You lost me at "Six Stones of Power"…" Naruto said which earned him a punch to the top of the head, courtesy of Navi.
"Idiot. It's obviously some kind of prophesy." Sasuke said before turning to Obito "… It is a prophecy, right?"
"Yes, that's right." Obito said.
"But what could it be referring to?" Tekashi asked.
"Well, the "Chosen Ones" are obviously the Triforce wielders. But what are these "Stones of Power"?" Kakashi said.
""Six Stones of Power"…" Obito said deep in thought before speaking up "It may be a reference to the Spiritual Stones."
""The Spiritual Stones"?" Sakura asked as she as well as the others looked at Obito.
"The Spiritual Stones are powerful magical stones, each belonging to one of six different tribes. They are the; Kokiri's Emerald, Goron's Ruby, Zora's Sapphire, Gerudo's Garnet, Shiekah's Amethyst, and Hylian's Topaz." Obito explained.
"Then, do we have to search for these stones?" Naruto asked before adding "But they could be anywhere!"
"Don't worry. These stones are hidden in safe places." Obito said.
"But then, where are they?" Erza asked.
"No idea." Obito calmly stated.
"Then how do you know that they're hidden in safe places?!" Sakura yelled.
"Easy there. Even though I don't know where they are, there are some people who do." Obito said.
"Who?" Sasuke asked.
"The Six Sages." Everyone turned towards the source of the voice to see Jiraiya entering the training field.
"Ero-sennin?" Naruto said, wondering how Jiraiya knew that.
"That's right, but how did you know that, Jiraiya-sama?" Obito asked.
"Hey, I'm the leader of the world's greatest spy-network, give me some credit." Jiraiya said.
"So then we have to find these "Sages"? But where are they, anyway?" Naruto asked.
"You're in luck, kid. I'm about to go out and look for one of 'em myself, wanna come along?" Jiraiya said.
"Really? Then count me in!" Naruto said before Jiraiya looked towards Erza.
"You come along as well, Erza-san." He said.
Great Library
Neji was in the Great Library as he looked through several books to try and make sense of what he saw in his vision, hoping that at least one of the books would help him.
"Hmm? Neji, what're you doing down here." Neji turned towards the source of the voice to see Shikamaru standing there.
"I could ask you the same thing." Neji said as he put a book back into the shelf before pulling out the one next to it.
"It's kind of a drag, but Farore-sama gave me some kind of vision a while back, and the librarian informed me that if I want to find out what it means, I'd have a better chance down here." Shikamaru said.
"Same here. Only it was Nayru-sama." Neji said.
"What? The two of you too?" They turned towards the source of the voice to see Kiba and Akamaru "Man, and here I thought Din-sama had given me that vision because I was special or something."
"Strange." Neji said as he looked at the book which he was still holding in his hand, drawing the others' attention "Why is it that each of the Golden Goddesses came to each of us? And why us? Do they have some sort of plan involving the three of us, or is it just coincidence?" He then looked at the other two, three if you count Akamaru "I think that we should go and find the places we saw in our respective visions. If anything, that's where I believe that we're gonna find the answers."
Konoha gates
At the Konoha gates were Jiraiya, Erza, and Naruto. They had each packed for the journey and were ready. And on Naruto's shoulder was Navi sitting while Dimitri was resting atop his head.
"Alright, you guys ready, then?" Jiraiya asked.
"Hai!" Naruto and Navi exclaimed, causing Jiraiya to smile before he turned towards the forest on the other side of the gates.
"Then we're off." He said before they started walking.
Konoha walls
Standing atop the village's outer wall, was a pair of men dressed in black cloaks with a red cloud pattern and straw hats.
"They've escaped complete annihilation. But it appears they've suffered heavy losses." One of them, one with a large bandaged sword on his back said.
"For such a prosperous village, it's pathetic." The other one said.
"That's unlike you… So you still have lingering affection towards your homeland? Even you have nostalgia…?" The one with the sword asked.
"No… none at all." The other one said ad he stared down at the village with his Sharingan.
Land of Rice Paddies, Otogakure
Deep within the underground maze of Oto was Orochimaru sitting on a thrown-like chair as Kabuto was standing by his side.
"Orochimaru-sama, I was wondering…" Kabuto said.
"About what?" Orochimaru asked.
"What is it that you and Ganondorf believe you're going to find in the ruins of Uzushio?" Kabuto asked.
"You don't need to worry yourself about that." Orochimaru said.
"Is it one of the Forbidden Seven?" Kabuto asked, causing Orochimaru to frown for a second, this kid really was perceptive.
"It's one of the things that's over there, yes. And if we can get our hands on it, that'll mean that we've got four of the books, the others being; Makai, Necronomicon, and…" He then held up a book which was obviously one of the Forbidden Seven "…this, which we found deep underneath the Land of Rice Paddies."
Chapter preview
Itachi "It's been so long… Asuma… Kurenai…"
Asuma "There's no mistake… Uchiha Itachi."
Kisame "My long sword is called Samehada. It doesn't slice… it cuts you to ribbons!"
Kakashi "Don't let your guard down… He's someone who rose to ANBU captain by the time he was 13."
Itachi "Next time on The Legend of Naruto: Akatsuki."
Kakashi "This thing you seek… is it Sasuke?"
Itachi "No… The legacy of the Yondaime Hokage…"
Character information
Name: Rock Lee.
Age: 13
Affiliation: Konohagakure.
Affinity: none
Likes: Guy-sensei, Training.
Dislikes: Bullies. (Kurama no Kyubi: Couldn't think of anything else.)
Bio: Lee was born without any ability to use either Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, but even so he aspired to become a ninja and prove that even without the main techniques of the shinobi, he could still become a splendid ninja. When he graduated from the academy, he was put on team one along with Hyuga Neji and Tenten under the guidance of Might Guy, who he came to idolize.
Kurama no Kyubi: I'm sorry the chapter took so long, but I find these slow, action-less chapters rather hard to put on paper, or screen in this case, also it doesn't help that I recently bought Pokémon X and the Wind Waker HD. Also this chapter marks the end of not only this arc, but also the second season as well. Now before I forget it, you should also note that I will now move on to my other stories and won't come back to this one in a while, but I'll make sure that it'll be well worth the wait.
