After dark, when all was silent in the camp, Finny and Snaptrap went out to find Safi's treasure. Owl was to fly between them and the camp, to notify everyone of any changes. Snaptrap luckily remembered the area where he had found the tube, and Finny's nose guided them to the right hole. Jumping down, they began to dig the sides of the hole with their bare hands. It did not take long to find a wooden case, which they extracted and carefully brought back to the men's tent without opening it. Before the wake-up call sounded the next morning, the prisoners had gathered all the weapons they could find and took the guards by surprise. Keswick scurried around in the Warden's cabin as Kitty and Jacinta guarded the barn owl. Keswick found a radio, which he used to contact T.U.F.F. to come to the rescue.
"We were starting to get worried about you guys!" laughed Dudley as he hugged his friends, other agents arresting Owlson and her guards. The Americans, the meerkat Geli, and the water buffalo Ahadi were ushered into helicopters which would take them to a ship for America; the rest of the Africans were going home. All except Wangero. The Chameleon had found his transformation suit which the guards had taken, and he allowed Wangero to wear this and transform into a penny so he could smuggle her into America; she was his only friend.
While waiting for take-off, BirdBrain apologized to Stefania. "I didn't want to be rivals all over again. Remember when you were moving away and we became friends?"
The female bird nodded, "I never wanted to be rivals in the first place, but you made me mad when we first met, when you called me a dumb jock."
BirdBrain grinned a little, "What else was I supposed to do, the other boys from Algebra would have asked you out fir- oops!" The booby blushed and turned aside.
Stefania started, eyes wide, "What? What was that?" Snaptrap and his friends were standing close by. They nudged each other as Stefania pressed BirdBrain to finish his confession.
"Alright!" he said, exasperated, then looked at the ground while shuffling his feet. "I had a crush on you, okay!?" The female lowered her head and smiled, blushing. BirdBrain looked up at her, expecting rejection. "WHAT!?" he demanded when she continued to smile.
"I liked you, too," she answered quietly. The two birds looked at each other before falling into a laughing fit.
Meanwhile, Dudley was proudly showing off pictures of his family to everyone. "Her name is Zorra," he pointed to the kit, "Isn't she the cutest little thing, Jacinta?"
"Si," everyone was surprised to hear her answer, "the sweetest!" (A.N. Remember, up until now the T.U.F.F. agents did not know Jacinta could even understand English) Keswick was horrified. He had a paranoia of girls (A.N. episode Thunder Dog), but he had thought speaking to Jacinta would help him get over his fears; if she could not understand English, and he did not speak Spanish, then she could not say anything negative to lower his esteem and he could practice speaking to girls. But she had understood every word he ever said to her!? Keswick thought he would be sick!
The hedgehog walked over to him, hands behind her back. "Now you know I understand," she began, and Keswick grew pale as he nodded. Jacinta grinned at him, "No need be nervous! I never turn you away, do I?" Keswick calmed a little as he realized that was true. "I be seeing you for dinner sometime?" she asked, and he grinned a bit stupidly as he nodded, fainting when she walked away.
"GANGWAY!" the doctors wheeled Phil into the maternity ward, Snaptrap trying to keep up behind them. Finny waved from the hallway, holding Rodey in one arm. The travelers had barely been home an hour when Phil went into labor. Snaptrap and Finny had driven her to the hospital, the girls from Las Banditas, the men from D.O.O.M., Sissy, BirdBrain, and the Chameleon following. Finny and the girls took turns holding Rodentia, the rest of the men waited nervously. Francisco held a basket with his and Francesca's eggs in it, turning them over from time to time to keep them warm. Larry stood beside Sissy's chair, holding the end of his tail. Bad Dog and Leather Teddy were pacing in opposite directions, and the rest of the guys sat in their chairs twiddling their thumbs.
After around three hours, Snaptrap came around the corner with a huge smile. "Two boys and a girl!" he declared proudly as everyone rose to congratulate him. "We're going to name the girl Phyllis, and the boys are Phillip and Verminious Junior." He took them to see Phil and the babies. Phyllis was dark brown in color, Phillip was the mirror-image of the grandfather he was named after, and VJ looked just like his dad.
"Oh, bose, they is so cute!" Juanita cooed. The triplets viewed their visitors with wide eyes. Finny set Rodey on the bed beside them. The black rat was bigger than her new cousins, being a year older, but she seemed to approve, allowing Phyllis to grab her finger and VJ to suck on the tip of her tail.
All five of the gators eggs hatched within the next two weeks, three boys named Santiago, Pepe and Sol, and two girls named Serena and Fernanda. The following month Bat and Juanita's daughter Carmencita was born. Two months later BirdBrain had officially resigned from being a villain and became engaged to Stefania. Vicky was rehired by T.U.F.F., leading many missions against the Chameleon and his new partner Wangero. The meerkat Geli was enrolled in Petropolis University, and Ahadi was reunited with his daughter Timira. Everyone else readjusted to their normal lives, all except one.
Josie, Bad Dog, and Mole sat around the skull-shaped table at D.O.O.M. hq. "Where the heck is that bear!?" Josie complained, her arms crossed.
"He had a date wiz la skunk," Mole reminded her.
Josie growled, "We're supposed to be deciding who's in charge of D.O.O.M. Is he still a member or not?" The men shrugged. Just then there was a knock at the steel door. Bad Dog opened it; in came a hare, a snake and a mouse, all goldish-yellow in color. "HEY! KILLER, HITTER, ORO!" Josie ran over and hugged them all. "I thought you guys was still in Texas!"
"We came to see you and try to get the gang back together!" the snake, Killer, smiled.
"Where are Loco and Llorona?"
"They quit gang life when they got married," Hitter the hare answered, "and they have a kid now, Antonio."
Josie pouted; nearly every villain she knew seemed to be giving up dishonest living. Well, not her!
