The first book explains that though the beliefs of the user shape his or her approach to magic, all magic works by certain principles which stem from the life force of the user. Life force flows in natural currents throughout the universe. Its different forms and shapes are determined by perception.

The second book explains the mechanics of three independent magic systems spirit magic, divine magic and wizardry and details ritual magic, a system common to shamans, priests and wizards.

She was about done with the second book when the library doors open. Cassie kinda assumed it was Mahad making sure she was actually studying. Well more or less correct on that, it was Mahad, but Atem was also with him.

She didn't have much time to see the people she knows here. She usually was always found in her room or the library or the training ground, so it wasn't that hard to find her but no one ever came to see her except Mana or Mahad, or maybe, well on occasion Atem just to pass on information or food. Everyone here knew that she was living here, just no one ever really came to see her. But one thing was on her mind regularly, is Yugi and Grandpa here. Were they okay, where they, and so many other question are racked on her mind.

Due to how bad it was even with some sort of treatment it wasn't going to do much, it could possibly give her an additional month at best. She opted to go without treatment. There was no point in prolonging her death.

He went on to say that everyone in Khemet was eligible and again no one was first in line for that he does not believe in firsties.

"The Gods work in mysterious ways. Cassie and Yugi were brought to us for a reason and I believe they were picked by the gods for the new king and queen." Aknamkanon said.

Cassie and Cleo were getting along okay. It was such a sudden thing that it happened and both never had a chance to actually meet and get to know each other. The former king even knew that they had never met, but was confident both would get along very well. Both were trying to getting to know each other. It just was taking a little longer than the former king and everyone else was hoping for. At least everyone knew they were trying. Several more weeks pass and both were getting along quite a bit. Atem proceeded to leave the room once again, everyone assumed it was to speak to his father. Cleo muttered that she hoped he would not flip out over what just happened. About half an hour passes before Atem and surprisingly the former king. Everyone was just kinda staring at each other for that period of time. And in the end, everyone was surprised that the former king came in, and were all wondering the same thing, 'what was he going to do/say'. Former King Aknamkanon admitted he was wrong with the sentence thinking about it now and apologized. He regrets that he did not see how stupid he was for the slightly harsh sentence and would change it in a heartbeat if he could go back in time and change it. At the time it seemed sketchy that some random guy was walking around the kingdom and everyone agreed. It did make sense to some degree, it was just unusual for some person to wonder.

After the group deliberated some more, Cassie's father did forgive the former king. He wasn't a man to hold grudges against people and understand they make mistakes. Then it was announced that dinner was ready and even Cassie's dad was invited. He deserved it and the former king and the current king even agreed. It was another night of epic food, talking and slight drinking.

After dinner everyone decided to go back to their respected rooms. Cleo decided to take full advantage of their alone time. Cassie was laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling when Cleo got up on the bed, straddling her waist.

"You wanna go there." She said.

"Maybe" Cleo said with a serious face.

She made a face at Cleo, thrusting her hips up. The other female let out a slight moan in protest. The younger female smiled, knowing what she wanted and proudly gave it.

The following morning, everyone was called to watch the killing of Cassie's mom. Frankly, Cassie would have preferred not to watch something like this, but was unable to. She would be surrounded by friends and family during this, and frankly she didn't care her own mother was going to be sacrificed to the Parana shark. Her father wondered who was being sacrificed, he was surprised at who it was when Cassie told him. She explained what went on after he died. Boy was he pissed to hear what went on. He wasn't the one to go straight for the death sentence, but there were certain exceptions, not so much this was one of them. But she did deserve some sort of punishment. Well at least something was done about it and her mom was sacrificed.

"I truly am sorry for this Cass." Atem said. "Throw her in."

"Its okay Atem." She said as her father and Cleo hugged her.

Time, more or less speaking, went on in the afterlife, seeing as they do not age in any way now and were stuck at whatever age they died at. Everyone was happy and cheerful, not just saying that, everyone was truly happy with everything.

Even for Mr. Blake, Cassie dad, found someone to love. Though she was just a maid, he still loved her. Everyone seemed to approve of this, though he was considered a different rank than her, no one wanted to per se question that. The two became a very happy couple.

When it came to Solomon Moto, he was reunited with his wife.

As for the small group of friends from Domino high school Cassie and Yugi left behind way back in Domino, they somehow found their way to the afterlife. All were greeted by familiar faces and lots of love. None were forgotten by each other, despite living in different places. Joey, Tristan, Ryou (That's what he wanted to be called now) and even Tea found someone to call their significant other. For Ryou, it was no other than the Thief King. Tea, and Tristan oddly enough each other. And finally Joey, he, to be expected never the less, Seth. Many people called it, somehow knowing those two would hook up. Seth was so much like Kaiba, despite Kaiba being the supposed future incarnate of Seth.

Overall, everyone was happy. Everyone here was glad to be surrounded by the people they cared about. Nothing more, nothing less. When it came to crime and other things like that, it was significantly minimal to say the least. People seemed to work things out on their own and there was peace throughout the land.
