"Gumball!" Fionna kneels next to the fuchsia puddle with the gold of the former prince's crown being mixed with the candy flesh. She glares at the Flame Prince, who is smiling deviously. "How could you?" She muttered but realized why he did it. His anger of being pushed around by the candy prince, the thought of being betrayed by the same person twice. She doesn't know whether to feel sorry for him or kill him too. Not like she has the chance of killing him anyways. Tears cascade down her pale cheeks, falling off her bloodless lips. "He was my friend... We did everything together." Marshall puts a sympathetic hand on her shoulder, softening her cries. "You know," She sniffles. " I remember how we met. Glob, it was so long ago, but I remember. I had never been adventuring in a life or death situation, so I was scared. But I heard all this commotion from this place I'd never been before. The Candy Kingdom. I didn't know why I'd never been there, it looked very welcoming. I was just a little girl, but I had so much passion for fighting the bad guys. So I decided to find out what was going on." Fionna smiles a little as she starts remembering more.
"I came in running, and I saw this huge white bunny, like, almost twice my height I had to follow him in order to slay him, of course. He went to the candy foyer so I followed, and saw this little man terrified, crouched behind the large purple sofa, he was begging for his life, trying to make the large bunny have mercy. I honestly laughed at how defenseless he was, so I jumped up and kicked that bunny in the face! Then I decapitated it, but the thing is, it wasn't one single bunny, after it's head came off, more came out of it's body, it was so weird. But they were tinier, only like, a foot tall. They were trying to exit the room, but I wouldn't let them and then Cake turned into a giant blanket on the floor and trapped all the bunnies and I told her to dispose of them while I helped clean up. So I help this guy up and he's still shaking. I laugh at how the Prince (or so it seemed like) of the Candy Kingdom was so scared of a bunny. but it was a pretty terrifying bunny."
"I helped him up and he noticed the larger bunny's head was still there, looking at him and he was so freaked out by it. So I told him I'd get rid of it. Later that night I skinned it and you know what I did with it?" She pats her head "That evil bunny skin sure made a good hat." She smiles, looking down at the deceased Prince. "For a while... He was terrified every time I would visit him, but he got use to the hat and now.. It's all I have left of him, that single memory of when I met him." She frowns at PG. she whispers, "Why did you have to go crazy? Why did you have to hurt all those people?" She turns around and sees that Flame Prince is in the hallway and Marshall is right beside her, on the verge of tears.
"Come on, Fi. Let's go home." He cradles her and they fly outside the room.
"I hope you're happy." Fionna spits at Flame Prince. He just smirks back in victory.
"I'm ecstatic." He replies. The 2 vampires float down the maze of hallways and stairs. They see Peppermint butler who asks what happened to the plan and they just shrug off the question and fly home.
