Here you go. I'm just going to leave this chapter here and run before all of you start shooting at me for being so late and yeah... I don't own Hetalia or Supernatural and never will. Bye!
"Yeah, I'll have a burger and a slice of that pie you were telling me about." Dean said, smirking up at the waitress. He watched her walk off, short skirt swaying around her legs, before turning to look at his brother. "So, we've wrapped up everything in Kearney so where we headed to next?"
Sam shrugged, not looking up from the laptop in front of him. "I'm not finding anything to strange on the news lately. Except that group of girls that went camping and never came back. But honestly, that could just be a normal missing person's issue. Nothing about it seems supernatural or demon oriented."
"Well keep digging. I'm sure you'll find something." Dean said, looking out the window of the booth they were currently sitting at.
"Why don't you dig around a bit instead of making me do it all the time?" Sam asked, a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"Hey, calm down." Dean said looking back at his brother. "I was just joking with you. You're the one with the computer anyway, so what do you expect me to do?"
Sam looked at him over the laptop, but didn't say anything else. Dean looked up again when the waitress brought their food to them. Sam immediately stabbed his fork into the salad while Dean gripped the excessively large burger and raised it to his lips.
"Hello, Dean." another voice said, a trench coat clad figure appearing beside him in the booth. The man spluttered, dropping his burger, the condiments smearing all over his hands.
"Damn it, Cas." he said, picking up a napkin to wipe off the ketchup and mustard from his hands. "You really can't just appear like that in public."
"I don't understand." the angel said, regarding the man with wide brown eyes. "I just did, so why can't I in the future."
"Not want I meant Cas…" Dean said. "I meant you shouldn't or people will get suspicious. It isn't exactly normal to suddenly appear out of thin air."
Sam stared at the two, after recovering from his own surprise, and rolled his eyes at them. "Did you want to tell us something?"
"Yes. You should both look to see who's driving in now." Castiel said.
Both men automatically turned to stare out the window at the diner parking lot where a bright red Ferrari was pulling in. Sam turned his head back to the angel. "Did you lead him here to us?" he asked.
"No, but I have been watching out for him since he separated from you. I just wanted you to know he was coming, so maybe you can talk to him again." the angel said, watching the young boy step out of the car. Surprisingly to the other two, another man stepped out of the passenger side.
"Wait, he's not alone?" Dean asked, his eyes moving over to Castiel confused.
"No. That's why I wanted you to talk to him. So you wouldn't have to worry about him anymore." Castiel looked back at him.
Sam cleared his throat as Lovino walked in with his companion, obviously not noticing the familiar men. With him was a taller, lean man with curled brown hair and shining green eyes. He was babbling about something in a heavy Spanish accent, to which Lovino mostly ignored, rolling his own hazel eyes.
Dean, started to stand up but Sam stopped him. "No, Dean think about this. Do we really want to get involved again? We know he's alright so shouldn't we just leave him be?"
Dean stared at him, more surprised than anything else. "No. I want to try to talk him out of hunting again. Look at how young he is. I'm not letting him get killed like his brother. That was our fault Sam, we're the ones that got them involved. They shouldn't even know about all the shit we do, let alone hunt. I can't sit back and let him get himself killed, alright?"
"Dean, I don't think you can stop him." interjected Cas. "He's determined and he's shaping up to actually being a good hunter. He's as stubborn as you when it comes to this. He's not going to quit just because you tell him to."
"Well, I can't just sit back and let him do it! I have to try, Cas!"
"Are you bastards talking about me again?" a new, familiar Italian accent chimed in. The three bickering men looked over to the scowling teenager. He crossed his arms, looking between them all. The other man he had entered the diner with was behind him, staring over Lovino's shoulder at the group. "You should mind your own business. I'm fine."
"Really? Fine?" Dean asked, disbelievingly. "Are you sure, Lovino? You still hunting?"
"Yes, I'm still hunting! I'm not going to stop either! Especially not because YOU want me to…" The short boy, glared a little harder at Dean before Sam caught his attention.
"I know my brother seems a little overbearing and ridiculous, but he's really just concerned about you. He just has too much heart, you could say."
"Oh, what do you know about it?" Dean asked, picking up his burger again. Cas sat beside him, nodding in agreement to Sam's words.
"Lovi, who are these people?" the Spanish man asked, entering the conversation.
"That's not my name!" he snapped in response. "And just some guys I worked a case with. Don't worry about it…" Lovino's face went completely red, when the man smiled at him then walked around him and offered his hand to Dean.
"I'm Antonio Carriedo. It's nice to meet you."
"Dean." he said, taking his hand. "Winchester. That's my brother Sam and our friend Cas." he said, motioning to each in turn.
"Thank you for taking care of my Lovi for me." the man added. "But I can take care of him now." He turned back to look at his Italian companion, smiling sweetly.
"Sh-shut up!" Lovino snapped, his whole face brilliant scarlet. "And that's not my name!" He stormed away, stomping his feet a bit too much to pass of as mature as he normally attempted.
Antonio, looked down at Dean and Sam again and said, "Cute, isn't he?"
As he walked away, to join Lovino at the booth he dropped down in to, the brothers looked at each other across the table. "Was he…" Dean started, while Sam began, "Are they…"
"If I learned anything from watching TV, it would appear they are in a relationship." Castiel added in his usual tone of voice.
Both Sam and Dean looked at him in surprise, then glanced over at the two in the corner booth. Antonio was reaching across the table and lifting the others chin as he violently stabbed at his food, still madly blushing.
"Yeah…" Sam said. "I can see it."
Dean just shook his head and bit into his burger. "Damn, that's good…" he said after chewing and swallowing the chunk of bread, beef, and normal burger toppings.
"Never would have pegged him for gay…" Sam said, thoughtfully, looking over at the two in the corner booth again.
"Can we not talk about it?" Dean asked.
Sam looked back at his brother again and shrugged. "Okay, whatever."
Castiel, looked between the brothers again, eyes lingering on Dean for a moment, before saying, "I'll be going now. My work here is done." Before the men could protest, Castiel disappeared again.
Dean sighed, before diving in to finish his burger. Sam did the same with his salad. For once, the brothers were quiet, without arguing about something.
Finally, after paying, they stood to leave. As they walked out the door, Dean hesitated, looking back at the teenager again. Sam waited for him a few steps ahead.
"I'm still worried about the kid, Sammy." Dean admitted finally walking out and towards the Impala.
"Well, Dean." Sam said. "We can't run his life. Whatever happens, happens, I guess…"
"I know that!" Dean said. "I just don't want him to end up like us. He just lost his brother. You know how torn up inside we were. Both of us have been through that shit. It's not fair."
"Well, nothing in life is fair. It's not fair that mom died, and dad became a hunter. It's not fair that we were forced to learn how to hunt. It's not fair that we were handed that life. I agree, it's not really fair for him either. But he had something that we didn't have. He had a choice. Both he and his brother chose this. We can't overlook that."
Dean stayed silent as he stood beside the door of the Impala, key in hand, but obviously thinking. Sam stood by his door patiently, not interrupting his brother's train of thought. Finally, the older man looked at him. "You're right. There's nothing we can do about it now. He's chosen his own lifestyle."
Sam nodded. "Exactly. And you never know, maybe he'll get tired of it and retire. It's not unheard of. Maybe we'll even see him again someday."
Dean smiled a bit. "Yeah, you're right. I'd like to see the kid a few years down the road to see how he's doing."
As the man stared to unlock the door, Sam asked, "Since I taught you something today, can I drive?"
"In your dreams Sammy boy, in your dreams." Dean said, slipping into the familiar driver's seat of the Impala.
Sam got in on the other side, sighing. "Can I pick the music then?"
"Not a chance." Dean said, turning on the radio and blasting the inside of the car with ACDC from the speakers.
Then, the Impala pulled out of the parking lot, and tore down the road, leaving the young Lovino inside to live his own life. The brothers headed out in search of their next case, each wondering if they would ever cross paths with the stubborn little Italian again.
Hope that ending makes up for the crazy long time it took to actually sit down and write this. Sorry, I'm just dealing with a lot right now. Anyway, that's the final chapter. I'm considering a sequel focusing mainly on Antonio and Lovino, though Sam, Dean, and Castiel would be in it. I don't know. I'd have to see what y'all thought of that. So tell me in a review. If I see enough people would be interested, I'll add it to my list to write, and tell y'all on here. Even if you wouldn't be interested in that, tell me what you thought of the chapter or the story as a whole. I love all the supporters of this story. Anyway, I guess this is the end for now. Check out my other stories if you want. Thanks for reading this far. Y'all are all awesome. Bye, everyone! Don't forget that review button!
