Oh the help I had with this chapter! Thankyou MadCoconutWoman!
Heh heh heh. Have fun reading!
Rena ducked the fist flying towards her face and joined back up with Syaoron who was also fighting off their attackers. "Well, looks like we're going to have our hands full for quite a while." Syaoron muttered. "My question is how they got through security!" Rena said irritably. "Probably killed the guards along with anyone else who got in their way." He replied. "Why the hell do they want us!?" Rena asked. "My guess is that that dick head wants to break Sakura completely by taking out her only full blooded relative." Syaoron replied as he kicked one of the offenders in the face, knocking them out. "Oh great! Satoshi really needs to have a sword shoved up his arse!" A hint of sarcasm riding along Rena's voice. "How many of them have you taken out now?" Syaoron asked his wife as he fought two different guys at once. "Nine-oh, make that ten!" She replied as she took out another. "Ahh, I'm still in front of you on thirteen honey." Syaoron sighed.
Sakura looked at Syaoran who had just saved her life for the second time, completely surprised by the quick action he took to get Satoshi away from her throat. Satoshi glared at Syaoran, holding his hand over his mouth that had blood dripping from it. "How dare you stop the ritual!" he hissed. "What you call a ritual is murder." Syaoran spat. "Why you little…" Satoshi lunged at Syaoran, managing to hit him hard in the side of the head. Syaoran's vision went blurry making him unable to see Satoshi's next move, but upon seeing his quick actions Sakura balled herself into him turning the fight back to her. "Sakura, Sakura, Sakura. You're just dying to have your life ended, aren't you?" He snickered. "Sorry Satoshi, but that's not going to happen!" Sakura snarled.
Once again, they entered into a violent fight. Syaoran watched as she swiftly and gracefully fought Satoshi. "I can't wait to see you suffering in the most dangerous prison in the world!" Sakura hissed as she span and went to kick him in the head, but he ducked and struck her in the hip sending pain down her leg. She fell to one knee, holding her hand to her hip with the other supporting her. Satoshi knelt in front her, placing one hand gently on her cheek while the other gripped tightly around her bullet wound that he had caused at the start of their fight. Blood dripped out of her wound like a small waterfall, staining the flowers beneath them with the substance. Sakura screamed in agony as he gripped her arm tighter. "My lust for you is as crimson as the blood running through your veins." His hand left her arm while the one that was gently caressing her cheek slid down to her throat. He stood up, pulling her along with him. Sakura couldn't breathe and she began to feel light headed. She could vaguely make out the psychotic smile on Satoshi's lips. "Time for you to go, my dear." He whispered in her ear before throwing her to the edge of the cliff. Sakura rolled through the flowers and off the cliff, using her one good arm to hold onto the edge for dear life. Satoshi kicked Syaoran to the side and walked over to the edge of the cliff, looking down at the girl. He slammed his boot down onto her frail fingers, making her scream. "Can you hear that!? The sound of her screams send shivers up my spine!" he laughed. "Sakura-hang in there!" Tomoyo shouted as she and Yuui attempted to make their way over to help her but were blocked by their opponents.
Syaoran staggered to his feet, breathing hard. He tried not to be heard as he staggered over to Satoshi, grabbing him and throwing him head first into the ground behind them, pulling the evil man away from Sakura. Syaoran helped Sakura up to safety, pulling her into his arms. "Are you alright? I was so worried." Syaoran whispered glad to have her back safely in his arms. "When I say duck, duck." Sakura murmured. At first Syaoran was confused, but then he heard the sound of footsteps behind him and knew he had to trust Sakura. "Duck!" Syaoran ducked and watched as Sakura flipped Satoshi off the edge of the cliff. She looked over the edge to see if he'd fallen into the rocky abyss below them, but found him hanging from a branch instead. She sighed with relief, glad that it was over. Sirens shouted through the traffic and the backup Yuui had requested for finally arrived along with the police and several ambulances. Helicopters scouted the area for anyone who may have been working for Satoshi that made a run for it and retrieved Sakura's offender from where he was hanging. "Come on." Syaoran murmured, putting her arm around his shoulders and helping her over to the ambulance where they could tend to their wounds.
Rena and Syaoron sat on their piles of unconscious men while they waited for the rest of Rena's team to return. When Yuui, Tomoyo and Kurogane walked in they all looked at each other with one eyebrow raised. "Where's Sakura?" Rena asked. "Syaoran and Sakura were taken to the hospital; Sakura was shot in the arm and has a few head injuries caused by Satoshi, so she's going to be in there for a while. Syaoran has a concussion and a few other minor injuries so he should be out in the next few days." Yuui replied. "Looks like you two had fun…" Tomoyo said while looking at all of the unconscious bodies on the floor. Rena slammed her butt down onto the guy she was sitting on as he began to regain consciousness, sending him back into a deep sleep. "I don't think I'd want to get into a fight with you." Yuui muttered as he pulled out his phone and called for police to come and pick up the thugs on the ground. Rena and Syaoron looked at each other and hi-fived, having accomplished taking down twenty something guys without receiving any wounds.
"We can't find where the girls are being hidden in the woods." Kurogane said as he sat down in a chair at Yuui's desk. "I guess that means that Sakura's going to have to lead us to it." Yuui murmured. "She's been through so much, it's not fair." He sighed. "We should be hearing from above what'll be happening with Satoshi; hopefully he's placed in Serpents Hill." Kurogane muttered. "The worst possible prison and mental facility-that should suit him just fine." Yuui smirked.
Rena entered her sisters' hospital room with the files of all of the girls who had been recently murdered or had been missing-there would have been over a hundred and fifty files, but that didn't seem to bother Sakura at all. "Hey Rena." Sakura greeted; her arm was wrapped in a bandage where it had been shot and stitches in the wound above her eye. "You look shocking." Rena greeted as she sat down next to her sister. "Did you bring the files?" Sakura asked. "Yeah; everything you asked for." Rena replied, leaving three boxes by Sakura's bedside. "Thanks sis, I've always been able to count on you." Sakura smiled. Rena smiled back while fighting back the tears that she'd been holding back for the last six years. "I've missed you so much…" Rena said as she burst into tears and hugged her older sister. "Shh, it's alright now." Sakura said softly as she patted her sisters back, allowing her to vent her tears.
After Rena had finished crying she pulled back and smiled, glad to have her sister back and out of harm's way. "How's Syaoran?" Rena asked. "He's up and working again. He doesn't want me to be reading through these files though." Sakura laughed. "Why?"
"Oh, something about not wanting me to have anything else to do with this case. I'm the one who's going to have to lead the S.W.A.T. Team and police officers to the places that everyone's being kept in." Sakura answered.
"I can understand how he feels; if it were possible I'd like it if you stayed away from the job for a while."
"It's alright-I'll be fine. I just have a few things to settle."
Rena sighed. "Alright-but promise me that you'll stay away from the job for a while once you've dealt with them, alright?"
"it's a promise." Sakura smiled.
This isn't the end yet! What are the things that Sakura needs to deal with? Luckily for Sakura she doesn't have to worry about Satoshi coming after her anymore. Review?
