Listening to awesome music with MadCoconutWoman! I'm so glad school is nearly done for the year, ugh.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter as it's the SECOND LAST CHAPTER of Sweet Sacrifice!

Sakura arrived early at the BAU surprised to find Yuui sleeping face first on his desk. She poked him in the cheek to see if she'd get any reaction, which she didn't. She decided that she should leave him alone and left his office to go investigate her old desk. It had been left untouched except for the masses of paper that covered it. The framed photograph that had gathered dust was still sitting in the same place where Sakura had put it; it was a picture of her and Satoshi, a reminder of unpleasant memories that could never be erased. She picked it up and threw it in the bin as she didn't need it anymore, and it's not like she wanted it anymore either. She began to clean up the desk by starting with the papers and putting them into a pile.

"Hey Sakura!" Tomoyo greeted as she walked in. "Hey-do you know what happened to the locket I kept in my draw?" Sakura asked, rummaging through her draw in case she'd missed it. "I gave it to Satoshi after you went missing…I told him that he should be the one to give it back to you once you were found." Tomoyo replied guiltily. "Shit…thanks Tomoyo. What's with that look on your face?" Sakura asked, looking up to see an expression of extreme guilt and sadness. "It's just…I gave it to him thinking that that would be what you wanted at the time…even though you gave it to me to look after and keep safely hidden away somewhere." Tomoyo answered quietly. "Don't look so guilty-you were only doing what you thought was the right thing to do." Sakura smiled, comforting her friend. With a change of topic, Tomoyo brought up the teams plans for the day. "So today you're taking us and a whole bunch of other officers including the S.W.A.T. team in to raid the places where all of those girls are being held captive." She read off of her sheet. "I just hope they're all ok." Sakura muttered. "I guess it's just one of those things that you have to pray for." Tomoyo murmured. Sakura looked up at her friend, "Pray? I don't see how praying will help anyone. God didn't do anything for me when I was held captive."

"…Sorry…" Tomoyo said guiltily.

"No…I shouldn't have said that; forgive me." Sakura replied softly.

The two girls looked up when Yuui opened the door to his office and walked out, tripping over as he did so. "Have a nice trip?" Sakura asked. "Oh shut up." He muttered. "You look really tired." Tomoyo observed. "Let's just say that I didn't have the best of nights…" Yuui mumbled. "Kurogane will be in soon." He yawned. "Cool. I guess this is our last case together as a team before I go on leave." Sakura smiled. "You'll come back though, won't you?" Kurogane called out from the other side of the room. He said it in a way as if he was telling her to and Sakura was fine with that; she missed her job. "Of course I will-I miss my job too much." She laughed. "That's good then. We're leaving at nine." Kurogane said. "Alright then." Yuui answered.

Nine o'clock (in the morning) came quickly and everyone was already out at the black cars that served as their transport while working a case. Yuui drove while Sakura gave instructions on where to go, and was on speaker for Tomoyo and Kurogane. She gave them the shortest route to the forest, and led the way to the first location. "This is the entrance?" Kurogane asked. "Yeah." Sakura answered. "Hmph, looks depressing." The tall man grumbled. "Let's go." Sakura muttered, kicking the door open.

They apprehended all of the men and women who were working for Satoshi and rescued all of the girls who were trapped. Ambulances were waiting for the victims, tending to any wounds or injuries they had. "The next place is a few hours away from here, hidden right in the heart of the city." Sakura pointed on the map where it was located. "The heart of Clow huh?" Tomoyo said. "Yes." Sakura replied. "Let's go." Sakura left the place with feelings of disgust for it, glad that the girls were out of there and could return to their families.

Syaoran woke to the sound of his phone ringing; he picked it up and saw the familiar number that belonged to Chii. "Hello?" he answered sleepily. "GET OVER HERE WE HAVE OVERLOAD WITH PATIENTS!" Chii shouted. "Wait-what's going on?" Syaoran asked quickly. "You knew Sakura would be going to raid those stupid places! We're sending them to other hospitals in the area, but even they'll have a massive overload-we need you in ASAP." Chii said. "Alright, I'll be there soon." Syaoran yawned.

He got up and had a shower to freshen himself up and got dressed into what he usually wore to work, gathering the things that he needed for the day. He ate quickly and left in record time, arriving at the hospital and indeed finding many of the ambulances leaving or entering with more patients. He went straight inside and set himself to work, examining the injuries and hooking them up to IV fluids if they needed them or needed a blood transfusion. It was going to be a messy day of work.

It was roughly ten p.m. when they'd gotten all of the girls out and away from the last prison-like place where they were being held captive. Everyone was exhausted from their tiring day of work, and some of the sites that they had seen would surely stay with them for months. Sakura wasn't bothered even the slightest bit; all she cared about was getting the girls out of there safely and to a hospital to be examined. "Sakura, you can go home now if you want." Kurogane told her. "I'll just go to the hospital-I don't have a key for the house." Sakura replied. "I thought Syaoran had the day off?" he asked. "Not with this many patients going in." Sakura replied. "I guess that's true." Kurogane murmured.

Yuui dropped Sakura off at the entrance and watched her walk through the sliding doors. She stopped briefly and spoke to one of the nurses she knew well, getting directions to Syaoran's office so that she could go and wait there while Syaoran finished up. She walked down the hall and turned left, finding his office easily. The door was slightly open, so she pushed it open further and found him sleeping on his desk. She walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder. "How was your day?" he mumbled, opening one eye. "I've seen better days. Yours?" she answered. "Tiring." He answered. "How long till you finish?" Sakura asked. "I'm finished for the night."

"Let's go home then."

"Alright." He yawned.

That's the end of this chapter. ONE MORE CHAPTER TO GO. I'M ROLLING DOWN THE HILL LIKE A BOSS. Review?
