Pokeology Part 1
Title: Chapter 1: The Journey Begins Part 2
Warnings: Creature violence, kidnapping, injury, character death.

Author's Note; The Ben Ten timeline for pokeology will be it's own, allowing me to bring in characters from Ben Ten Omniverse.
" So, let me get this straight, you fought a creature that resembled a living skeleton that could use some form of water-type attacks as an alien you call Ripjaws before transforming into Swampfire to heal your injuries." Bridgette summed up after Ben explained his encounter with the creature in the lake and his transformation into Swampfire.
The six friends had arrived at the Tennyson household, after leaving the lake after Ben's battle with the creature he had just described.
Noah meanwhile was looking through what appeared to be a book of some sort. It was very big, like an old fashioned dictionary. " I believe I found the creature that attacked you Ben. It was a Kabutops, an ancient Pokemon. " Noah explained.
" It's rare to find them on earth since they became extinct a very long time ago. The only way I've heard to be able to obtain one or see one is either they escaped from a lab or cloning it from a lab. And, the moves you used as Ripjaws were Crush Claw and Scald." Noah further explained to the Ultimatrix wielder.
" But I thought Pokemon were just a videogame!" Ben said with surprise, as Noah shook his head in the negative " There real Ben, the show and games are based off of encounters and stories of humans with Pokemon." Cody said to him.
" Its strange that you would be able to use Pokemon moves as your alien forms. The only possible explanation for that would be if somehow you had Pokemon DNA." Ben looked up at Cody after the brown haired teen with a skeptical look. " That's crazy!" Ben exclaimed as Cody rolled his eyes " Any crazier then you turning aliens?" Ben opened his mouth to argue but decided against, seeing how Cody had a point there.
" However," Noah began, catching Ben and Cody's interest ", there is a legend that explain what is happening to you: Every century, the Legendary Pokemon Arceus selects a human female on earth to bear him heirs. These heirs of Arceus will become the protector of Earth, and the Pokemon homeworld, Vice Versa, along with being called The Chosen One, the human-pokemon hybrid that will befriend the heir to the Royal Chu Palace. He uses his magic to take some of his DNA with his selected female's DNA to implant an embryo of his child in her, using magic. However, each time he tried, all of his heirs have died. They were either stillborns, miscarriages, or worse, killed upon moment of birth by betrayal of someone close to the mother, mostly because of that invidual who bears the heir was apart of a royal household at some point in history. However, in this current century, there is rumor amongst the most powerful of pokemon and humans that a Son of Arceus has survived, because this time, his mother was a non-royal, or in other words, a everyday person would not attract such attention. The sign of the child of Arceus is in the shape of a birthmark, mostly on the wrist or chest, that resembles the Pokemon in question."
Ben's eyes widen a bit at the last part " I have a scar on my chest that looks like New Jersey, well, that's what my mother told me." Noah looked at Ben surprised. " Ben lifted up his black shirt up enough so Noah could see the "scar". The book-centric teen widen his eyes in shock when he realized that the scar was no scar at all, but a birthmark! And it was most certainly not in the shape of New Jersey!
The birthmark resembled an equine-like being, with four-pointed feet and a cross-like wheel attached to it. The birthmark was grey in color.
" Ben, I think, your…" Noah stammered.
Ben just blinked in astonishment, his mouth moving but no words as he promptly fainted on the couch from shock.
Outside, a cloaked figure was watching the whole scene transpiring before him, hiding in the shadow of a tree across the street. The figure grinned a bit, and his cloak hood shifted a bit, revealing his dark red sunken eyes.
" It appears that my quarry has some, interesting new powers. I will need to conduct more research and strike when it is the right time. " The figure spoke with a deep British accent, before it snapped its fingers and a red light surrounded it, and the light vanished, along with the cloaked figure.
Meanwhile outside the Tennyson household, a motorcycle with a car-like hood was parked outside. It's sides were completely open, and it had a green body, black hood and an Omnitrix symbol on it's sides. The size of the motorcycle was about the size of an SUV, and seating for two people. " Ben is not going to like this. " Rook said sadly as he climbed out of the Tenn-Speed. Rook Blonko was a tall alien, with periwinkle-colored fur covering his body except for his face. He had black and white markings on his face and pointed ears. His eyes were a redish/orange color with yellow surrounding the pupils.
Inside the Tennyson Household, Ben had just woken up after his initial shock and herd a soft knock on the front door. " Coming!" Ben shouted as he quickly got up, pulling his shirt down as he opened the front door, seeing Rook standing there.
Cody, meanwhile, was pretty much in shock when he saw Ben's partner. " Ben, what on earth is THAT!"
[Confessional]
Cody: " Okay, I was gonna say something else in place of "on earth" but, it wouldn't be kid friendly and if my dad found I said it, I'd be grounded for life!"
[End Confessional]
" Ben, I apologize if I disrupted your, um, gathering with your friends." Rook said apolotgetically with a respectful bow. Ben couldn't help but roll his eyes at how formal his partner was. " Rook it's fine. Rook, meet everyone. Everyone, meet Rook." Ben introduced his new friends to Rook.
" I wish I could properly introduce myself to you all, but I have an urgent message to deliver to Ben." Rook said seriously, as Ben suddenly began getting a feeling a dread forming in his gut.
" Ben, come with me, we will need a private room for this." Rook said gently as he and Ben walked into the basement, closing the door. Cody couldn't help but become worried.
" Ben, I am sorry to say, but, your girlfriend Julie has been kidnapped by Khyber. Her home had been ransacked and I found claw marks all over the house. " Rook said as he lowered his head. " I tried to stop him, but he overpowered me. I –" Rook was cut off when Ben gently placed a hand on Rook's shoulder. " You did what you could Rook, don't beat yourself up over it." Ben said in a somber voice.
Eventually, Ben came back up the stairs, with a serious expression and Rook was right behind him, who had a worried look on his face, concerned for his partner.
"Rook, keep in touch with the Plumber's base." Ben said suddenly as he raced out the door, determined to save his girlfriend.
" But Ben!" Rook tried to protest, but the hero was already out the door.
" Rook, what's going on?" Bridgette asked with worry.
Rook sighed, as he proceeded to explain once again.
Meanwhile, Ben was currently Wildmut, a large, dog-like alien with orange fur and didn't have any eyes, tracking Julie's scent. He had reached some caves on the edge of the forest that were outside of Bellwood. He also picked up Khyber's scent, along with the hunter's pet, Pnunsian. Wildmut snarled, vowing to give Khyber hell if the hunter ever dared to lay a finger on Julie's head.
On the highway, Rook was currently driving the Rust bucket, an old RV, with Bridgette, Noah, Cody and Gwen as it's passengers. They were all worried for Ben, hoping he wouldn't try to take Khyber on alone. Wildmutt stopped when he saw the Rust Bucket pull over, and his partner and friends climb out. " Stay back guys, you don't know what your dealing with, except for Rook. " Wildmut warned. " Ben, I can help you free Julie." Cody said, as Rook nodded. Wildmut growled a bit " Fine. Lets just get Julie out of harms way."

Wildmut then reverted back to Ben, the hero cautiously walked into the cave, with Cody and Rook following him.
Rook used his Plumber's badge as a light, the glow from it lighting up the pitch black tunnels. Ben's whole body was tense, ready for a fight and dreading what Khyber could of done to Julie during her time as his captive.
That's when they heard Julie shouting at Khyber, trying to get him from harming Ship, the little Galvin-Mechamorph was crying in pain. Ben felt his blood boil, as he threw his plan out the window and charged down, fury in his eyes. When he reached the cavern, he saw Julie tied up like a hunting trophy to a wall and Khyber firing his plasma rifle at the wounded Galvin-Mechamorph pup.
" LEAVER THEM ALONE!" Ben shouted at the top of his lungs, as he leaped into the air and did a flying roundhouse kick, sending Khyber into the wall of the cavern. " So you finally came, Tennyson. " Khyber growled, firing his rifle again, which Ben narrowly dodged.
He saw Phunsian charge at him, the vicious dog-like alien lashing it's hooked tail at the Ultimatrix wielder. The hooked tail got Ben's chest, ripping his shirt and flesh. Ben cried out in pain, but he growled at his foe, before he quickly activated the Ultimatrix. A large scaled tail slammed Phunsian into the cavern walls, as Humungousaur letted out a furious roar, standing in front of Julie and Ship, protecting them.
Humungousaur then roared at Pnunsian and Khyber, the roar powerful enough to momentarily frighten the hunting dog. Khyber brought out his rifle again, firing it. Humungousaur roared in pain as he felt the laser beam struck his side, causing a nasty gash." BEN!" Julie cried out as she saw her boyfriend get injured. " WE NEED TO LEAVE NOW!" Rook shouted as he grabbed Julie and Ship, rushing them out of the cave. Cody for some reason was staying behind. Humungousaur was snarling and roaring at Khyber, blocking the hunter's path. Some of the cave ceiling began to cave in however, pieces of rocks raining down onto the warriors. Humunogousaur noticed this, and he slammed his tail hard into a pillar of stone that supported the cave.
Without it's support, the cave ceiling was collapsing even more, boulders crashing down. " BEN GET OUT OF THERE!" Julie screamed, struggling against Rook's grip, they were just outside the cave, however they saw the tunnels collapsing,
Khyber screamed out in pain when a large boulder crashed on him, crushing his lower body. The hunter struggled to get out, but more rocks were falling onto him. Humungousaur was frantically dodging and trying to get out of the falling cavern, but he roared out in pain as boulders pinned him, the cavern collapsing on top of him.
" BEN! No, he can't…" Julie started to tremble in Rook's arm. Even Rook was in shock, not believing what happened.
Just then, Cody noticed some rocks moving, and a injured Ben came climbing out the boulders, wounded, but alive, and victorious. He had cuts all over him, with a large gash on his forehead and ribcage.
" Khyber won't be harming us anymore." Ben said weakly, as Cody caught the wounded hero before the teen passed out.
