Pokeology Part 1

Chapter 1: The Journey Begins Final

Just then, Cody noticed some rocks moving, and an injured Ben emerged climbing out of the rocks, wounded, but alive and victorious. He had cuts all over him, a large gash on his forehead and ribcage.

" Khyber won't be harming us anymore." Ben said weakly, his body swaying a bit as his vision blurred and the ground rushed up to meet him.

" Ben wake up!" Julie pleaded with her boyfriend, who was currently unconscious and laying on the ground. She knew it was pointless but she couldn't help but try to get her boyfriend to wake up. He had just passed out after being badly injured in a final fight with the hunter Khyber. Cody had managed to catch the teen before he passed out and had Gwen take out a couple of bed sheets from the Rusk Bucket to lay Ben down so they could tend to his injuries.

Julie was currently gently dabbing a gauze against the gash on Ben's ribcage, trying to clean up the blood and tissue that was already getting infected. She was hoping that the disinfectant she was using would help Ben recover, but Khyber's hunting rifle apparently had some sort of virus laced in it's amminution, as the disinfectant wasn't working.

Cody could see that Julie was growing frustrated and really worried, as he looked down at her, seeing her holding Ben's hand gently, as Ben was starting to breath heavy like he was trying to get water out of his lungs.

Khyber must of somehow obtained the toxins found in a Hounddoom's stomach. I remember my dad talking to me about this once. Ben's showing the signs of being struck by a Houndoom's fire, with his wounds not healing.

" Julie, it already appears obvious, but Ben's wounds aren't healing. I know someone that might be able to help." Cody said to Julie.

Reaching into his pocket, Cody pulled out a small, white glass flute. Bringing it up to his lips, Cody gently blew into the flute, and a soft gentle melody soon filled the forest. Julie tensed a bit when she saw the bushes rustle a bit as a large feline like Pokemon emerged from the bushes, followed by four more Pokemon.

The feline-like Pokemon was the size of a fully-grown lioness, with a spikey black mane and on it's head and covered most of it's body while the rest of it's body was blue. It's front legs were black in the front, with golden-colored ring markings on the back. It's tail was long and thin and ended in a four-pointed golden star shape on the tip.

Once Cody was finished playing the melody, he put the white flute away back in his pocket, and nodded to the lion-like Pokemon. " Nala, its good to see you and T-Force again." Cody said the Luxray, who nodded to him. " It's good to see you again as well, Cody. Me and my team heard you use the white flute we had given you incase of emergencies." Nala spoke in a feminine yet strong voice.

" And I believe this would count as an emergency. " Cody said softly as he moved a bit so Nala and her team could see an injured Ben lying down on the blankets, his wounds getting worse instead of better. They were already discolored, the flesh oozing with yellowish puss and fluid as his body tried to heal. His face was contorted into an expression of pain.

" Oh my, this is indeed an emergency!" A fairy-like voice shouted from the team, as a young Blissey rushed passed Cody and towards Ben. The Pokemon had a large, ovoid body with an pink upper body and white lower body with pink hair-like curls on the side of her head. White, wing-like tuffs grew from her shoulders and hips, giving the impression Lucky was wearing a dress.

Rook was watching the whole scene unfold before him, leaning against a nearby tree. He knew Cody's friends were here to help Ben but he still couldn't help but feel protective of his partner, like an overprotective big brother.

" Lucky, I'm thinking the move Softboiled would be a good one to use right now. " Cody said with urgency in his voice. " I was just about to suggest that." Lucky replied as she gently took Ben's left hand. " Julie, I would recommend stepping back." Cody suggested as she nodded, allowing Lucky to perform whatever magic that would help heal Ben.

"Softboiled" Lucky said in a soft voice as her body began to glow, a soft white light surrounding her body as she saw her healing energy travel towards Ben, the hero's body also starting to glow the same soft white light as Lucky. His wounds then began to glow as well, and they were slowly closing on their own, before closing up completely. Seeing that Ben was completely healed, Lucky stopped using her move as she gently placed Ben's hand back down by his side.

Ben was slowly waking up, mumbling a bit in his sleep as he turned on his right side. He was still tired from his transformation into Humungousaur and fighting Khyber, even though he had been healed by Lucky. " I don't want to go to school today mommy." Ben spoke in his sleep, making Julie giggle a bit at her boyfriend talking to himself in his sleep. She gently placed her hand on her shoulder and gently shook it, saying his name softly. Ben woke up with a snort as he looked up at her with sleepy eyes. " What?" Ben said with a yawn, sitting up feeling the soft breeze blow against his bare upper body.

Ben's face redden in embarrassment as he yelped in surprise " Where's my shirt!" He did not like feeling this exposed! " Relax Ben, we needed to take your shirt off so we could heal your injured left side." Julie said as she also began to blush but was giggling as well. Cody was trying to hold back his own laughter, covering his mouth with his hand. Even Rook was grinning in amusement at his partner's current dilemma.

Deciding that Ben had been "tortured" enough, Cody flung the black shirt at Ben as he started laughing hard, letting his amusement out. He climbed back into the Rust Bucket before closing the door.

[Confessional; Inside the Rust Bucket's bathroom]

Ben:*is glaring at camera*" I am SO going to get back at Cody someday for embarrassing me like that! My girlfriend saw me half naked damn!" *Eyes suddenly become wide and his face reddens more but he then grins a bit* "Wait, my girlfriend saw me half naked? Perhaps I shouldn't be that upset then…."

[End Confessional]

Ben was putting his shirt back on as he heard Lucky introducing Noah, Bridgette, Rook, Julie, and Gwen to the rest of her teammates. " How's everyone been doing?" Field the Torterra asked in a gruff and deep voice. " Oh my gosh, its like, awesome to meet you guys!" Warroir the Gyrados exclaimed in a diva-ish voice. " What's up yal!" Gnaw the Bibarel said with a southern accent. " Hiya everybody!" Gust the Starraptor said in a high-pitched and birdy-like voice.

"And you have already meet Nala." Lucky said happily, having finished introducing her teammates. " Thank you for the help, Lucky, I feel better already." Ben said with a gracious nod. " No need to thank me, its what us Blisseys are know for: helping anybody who needs help!"

Later on, Ben's extended team and T-Force were at Turtwig Hut, the earth base for T-Force. It was in the shape of Field's former evolutionary form, a Turtwig. It was in the shape of a Turtwig's head, with a small weather vein at the top made into the shape of the small leaves and twigs seen on top of said Pokemon's head. The window's were where the Turtwig's large eyes would be, large and around, letting in lots of natural light.

The inside of the hut was rather roomy, with log beams curving up the walls and supporting the main were two wings jutting out from the side of the main chamber. To the left was T-Forces sleeping chambers. The main middle chamber was the meeting room and space where they relaxed or ate between mission. And the right wing was guest quarters, along with a medical chamber where Lucky kept various supplies such as berries and herbs to help heal patients that needed help.

Ben was sitting in the meeting room with Nala and the rest of T-Force, while Lucky was in her medical chamber helping Ship heal from his wounds that he got in the fight with Khyber.

Ben was currently explaining his history to T-Force, such as how he got his powers, and his current battle with Khyber that resulted Lucky in healing him afterwards.

" Oh my gosh, that's like, the most amazing story I have ever heard!" Warroir shouted with delight, enthralled by Ben's tales of other worlds and exotic planets filled with alien life.

" I agree Warroir, I mean, alien planets and space battles, how cool is that!" Gnaw said with a toothy grin, her mind coming up with fantasies of new worlds.

" Alright, now that have properly introduced ourselves, me and my team are here to investigate rumors of a lone son of Arceus has survived birth. This is big news on my homeworld, Vice Versa, the home world of Pokemon." Nala explained.

" You see, Ultimatrix Wielder, the son of Arceus, once found, will be given the task of guarding the princess of the Royal Chu Castle, which resides the royal Raichu line that rules Vice Versa with fairness and justice. Of course, the current princess, Princess Shockie, was accidentally captured by a Pokemon professor named Professor Oak, and the Chosen One who is currently protecting her is not the true Chosen One. But she is alright with her current situation and will return to Vice Versa when she is needed or if our ruling queen, Queen Samantha, steps down." Nala clarified.

Ben was listening carefully, knowing now he was the lone son of Arceus, with the birthmark on his wrist. I have a lot more at stake now, not only being the wielder of the Ultimatrix, but also protector of the Royal Chu Palace bloodline! Ben realized in his mind.

Cody then came walking back into Turtwig Hut, his laughter having finally died down. Ben looked up at him, as he began to get suspicious as to how the Total Drama contestant knew T-Force. As if reading the Ultimatrix Wielder's mind, Cody sat down on one of the cushions in the meeting room, sitting Indian-style. " Ben, I met T-Force when I really young, about five years old. I was being attacked by some Hounddoom, who were apart of a rouge group called "The Rouges" on Vice Versa. I was living with my father there before coming to earth. They fought the Rouges off and Lucky helped me get back to health. " Cody explained to Ben.

"Wait, don't tell me your-" Ben was putting two and two together when Cody Ben his left wrist, there was a mark on it that in the shape of the legendary Pokemon Groudon, lord of the land and volcanos. " My father is the Legendary Pokemon Groudon, creator of continents and countries. And also the brother to Arceus. You see Ben, the Legendary Pokemon are kinda like the Greek Gods, minus a titan father devouring them and all. Including having affairs with humans, as the two of us are evidence of."

" So, that would make you and me cousins?" Ben asked Cody, who nodded yes to the hero. Ben suddenly felt like he was going to faint, all this information was making him dizzy as Cody helped the hero lie down on the soft cushions they were sitting on. At that moment, Julie had just walked in with a fully healed Ship, her eyes widening in shock when she saw Ben lying down and Cody waving his hands like a fan, trying to cool Ben down. " Two Words: Information Overload " Gnaw explained the situation to her, as she nodded in understanding.

" Man, this keeps getting weirder and weirder: First, I find out that I'm part Pokemon, the lone son of Arceus, along with protecting both Vice Versa AND Earth, and guarding the Royal Chu Palace bloodline! Can this day get any more complicated?!"

Nala's interest perked up, hearing Ben saying he was the lone son of Arceus. " Did you just say you're the lone son of Arceus?"

Ben just simply groaned in frustration and lied down before mumbling " Me and my big mouth!"

[Authors Note: Well Ben, looks like your family tree just got bigger and more confusing! Sorry there wasn't much action in this chapter, but I needed a chapter to fill in the plot holes and reveal some new information. Anyway, how will Ben handle the information he just learned from Nala: Will he follow his destiny and live up to his title as Son Of Arceus, or simply his alien heros as Ben Ten? Another important question that needs to be asked is how will his best friend Kevin Levin and cousin Gwen Tennyson, along with his Grandpa Max, react to the news of him being the Son of Arceus?
