Chapter 2 New Adventures Part 2

Reader's Questions and Answers: I'll answer some review questions in the reviews I get for this story, and to clear some things up.

Question 1:

Question: When is Ben going to show Gwen and Kevin his new powers?

Answer: I plan on Ben showing his new powers to Gwen and Kevin sometime later towards the end of Chapter 3 or in the beginning of Book Two of Pokeology.

[T-Force Earth Base: Time: Early morning]

The sun was just rising above the forest that hid T-Force's earth base. The rays that filtered through the gaps between the tall trees and shrubs and foliage were broken and scattered like light being filtered through a stained glass window in a church.

Ben was currently eating some cereal in the booth inside the Rust Bucket. Everyone else was either still asleep or just starting to wake up. He could hardly sleep last night, too excited about learning how to summon his armor like Cody could. Once he finished eating, he put the empty bowl in the sink and rushed outside, seeing Cody patiently waiting for him back at the training field.

Ben was wearing his workout clothes, which were black form fitting pants that had acid green racing stripes down the sides and a black form fitting T-Shirt. Julie and the others were already up and also at the training field.

" This should be interesting." Gwen said as she sat down next to Bridgette and Julie, the two girls nodding in agreement.

"Alright Ben, summoning your armor can be tricky at first. I know this personality as I did an all-nighter just trying to get the transformation activated." Cody said as he remembered his father coaching him through the steps and all the meltdowns Cody went through after he kept failing [Author's note: Cody was five at the time.] to activate his armor.

Cody then raised his right arm and a bright red birthmark began to glow on his right wrist. " I call upon the powers of the desert! " he exclaimed as sand began to swirl around him like a dust devil, winds howling around him as sand whipped around his form. " Lend me your strength!" He shouted out, his voice becoming slightly deeper. Then the sand was transformed into his armor. Cody's Groudon armor resembled the Pokemon God of Earth and the Desert, complete with his red and black-striped shield and his sword made out of lava and dark grey stone. His eyes were narrow slights, almost dragon-like and they were a fiery red. Smoke was seen rising from his body and lava was seen in small cracks in his joints His helmet resembled Groudon's head in both shape and appearance. Cody then noticed the others were looking at him. " What, that's how I normally transform." Gwen and Bridgette just rolled their eyes at their friend. "BeetleBorg Nerd…" Gwen all but chuckled a bit under her breath.

[The BeelteBorgs was an old Power-Ranger like show Stinkfly3 introduced me too through episodes on YouTube. We figured Cody could be a big fan of them and so he transforms like them.]

"Okay… that is wicked cool!" Ben exclaimed like an excited little kid, his eyes twinkling with delight as he saw Cody's Groudon armor for the first time. " Now how the heck am I going to figure out how to summon my armor?" Ben asked himself, starting to become deep in though. " I would recommend some mediation, it helped me when I tried to connect with my elemental power to summon my armor." Cody suggest through his helmet.

Throughout the afternoon, Erupt (Cody's name when in his Groudon Armor) and Ben were meditating, as Erupt teaching Ben some techinques on summoning his armor. The sun was high in the sky, its heat powering Erupt's armor, making the lava in his armor glow brighter.

"Breath in, and breath out…" Erupt instructed to Ben.

Ben was currently deep in his meditation, gently searching through his mind to find his Pokemon half, which was sealed deep inside his human conscious. He then found in his minds eye, a seal of stone with the Arceus birthmark on it with Celtic knot designs surrounding the figure of Arceus.

Ben gently brushed his mind against it, and he was met with a backlash of power, causing him to gasp in pain. The Arceus figure began glowing faintly, trying to fight off Ben's intrusion. More shockwaves of power began to emit from the seal, as crack eventually began to form in the seal.

Ben became more persistent, fighting against the power surge despite the pain it was causing him as eventually, the seal caved in and shattered. A primal roar echoed through Ben's mind. Just then, a whirlwind of white light surrounded him, and consumed the teen. Julie and the others stood up, watching the scene with worry and excitement.

Erupt got up and watched with wary eyes, ready to react. Soon, the light faded and revealed an armored figure in Ben's place. The armored figure was mainly white, golden and grey with sharp battle spikes on his arms that appeared to be used as weapons. He had a shield that resembled Arceus's rings and had a golden and white center with a illuminate jewel of rainbow colors in its center. His sword was razor sharp with battle spike emerging from the sides. The armor was muscular in appearance. He had wing-like blades emerging from his back that glowed a bright golden light.

"Ben…"Cody said cautiously, just as the armored figured rose up to his feet, before turning his helmed head towards the son of Groudon…

….and charged right for him with a fierce battle cry and a drawn sword…
