Chapter 2 New Adventures Final Part
Warnings: Sword Fighting violence
Characters: Ben, Cody, Julie, Bridgette, Gwen, Noah, and T-Force.

"Ben…" Cody said cautiously, just as the armored figure rose to his feet, before turning his armored helm towards the son of Groudon…
…and charged right for him with a fierce battle cry and a drawn sword…
"Ben, snap out of it!" Erupt shouted at Ben, who was struggling to control his Pokemon half as he battled Erupt. Ben swiftly lunged forward, aiming his sword at Erupt's upper torso. Erupt quickly dodged the sword, parrying his own sharp blade against Ben's.
Upon impact, sparks flew as the swords collided. The two combatants momentarily parted from each other, both swords were held out in front of the swordsmen, the tip of their blades pointing upwards.
"Ben, I know its overwhelming but you need to control your power!" Erupt shouted once again, tensing as he saw Ben raise his sword arm high and slash down diagonally towards Erupt's torso, aiming for the son of Groudon's neck. Which Erupt blocked with his shield, grimacing as he felt the powerful impact travel up his arm. Ben snarled in frustration, his primal side taking over as his Pokemon half fought Erupt to protect himself while Ben struggled to regain control of his body.
Erupt flicked his wrist so the back of his blade was presented, blocking a another slash from Ben's sword, turning his sword to the blunt side just below his eye level. Erupt then saw Ben raise his arm for a strike, and Erupt took his chance. He quickly got between Ben's sword arm and chest, using the hilt of his sword to trap Ben's sword. He could feel Ben's piercing glare through the hero's helmet armor.
"Ben, listen to ME! You need to get control of your Pokemon half!" Erupt snarled at Ben, as he could feel Ben slowly overpowering his grip and his advantage of battle slowly turning towards Ben. "I-I'm trying Cody!" Ben's voice sounded through his helmet.
Erupt then felt Ben kick the back of his shins, causing him to fall down, as he quickly turned onto his back to defend himself just as Ben used his right foot to pin Erupt to the ground. Erupt felt fear jolt through him as he saw Ben raise his sword, both of his hands gripping the hilt of the sword, and aiming for the lower left side of Erupt's chest, where his heart lied. Ben then brought his sword down as Erupt braced himself, but the killing blow never came.
The sword was just an inch from piercing his armor as Erupt looked up at Ben. His eyes widen when he saw Ben had regained control of his body, the teen gripping his head as he stepped off of Erupt, dropping his sword. Ben then fell to his knees as he felt intense pain rack his body as he finally, regained control of his body.
A white light surrounded Ben as his armor disappeared, the teen exhausted as he fainted, but his fall was softened when Julie rushed over and catch Ben in her arms. Cody was panting, exhausted as well. Cody deactivated his armor, walking towards Ben. Lucky rushed over towards the three humans, worried about Ben.
"Thank Queen Samantha he was able to regain control." Cody said with relief as Noah helped Julie bring Ben inside T-Force's base, where he could rest and recover.
" Cody, who is Queen Samantha?" Gwen asked, hearing Cody. Cody looked up at her " Queen Samantha is the Raichu Queen of Vice Versa, the ruler of the homeworld of Pokemon." Cody explained.
Meanwhile, back in T-Force's medical chamber, Ben was slowly waking up from his ordeal with his Pokemon half. He was still tired but feeling much better. His mind then flashed back to when he activated his armor and lost control of it. He jolted up right, concerned for his cousin as he then became relieved when he saw his cousin was unharmed.
"You gave us quiet a scare Ben. I had a little bit of trouble controlling myself when I first activated my armor, but my father was there to help me learn how to control it." Cody admitted.
" You two were impressive to watch though, your swordplay was amazing!" Noah admitted, despite the fact the sword fight between Ben and Erupt was intense and somewhat frightening, it was exciting to watch.
" I guess sword fighting is kinda like hand to hand combat for me, just the sword is an extension of my hand. " Ben admitted. His sword felt so natural in his right hand, like it was an extension of his arm. Cody nodded "Alright, we'll continue more sword combat training and some more practice with summoning your Pokemon moves." Cody finished explaining..
Another day had passed, the sun was setting just below the forest treeline, as Ben and his extended team settled down for the night to rest from the hectic day.
