17. Chapter 16: Preliminaries

Disclaimer: Unfortunately i do not own Naruto or anything. The rights to Naruto belong to Masashi Kishimoto. I also may use some quotes from characters in a game made by Riot Games.

A/N: I fixed up some of the earlier chapters for the newer readers. Sorry for the delay but that was the reason this chapter came out later than usual. Also because I am trying to maintain a 9-10k word per chapter minimum. Also If there is something you don't like about my story or you think it would be better if i removed it you can leave a review and i will take it into consideration.

Bladecraft: Naruto won't be using ice release too much and you will see why later on. Not this chapter.

Also for those who are wondering if this will be a harem, sadly it will not.

Chapter 16: Preliminaries

Area for Preliminary Rounds

"Hokage-sama would like to say a few words to those who have made it." said Anko through the speakers.

"Thank you, Anko. Welcome genin, you all have made it through the Psychological first exam and the Survival second exam. The third exam is the most simple of all the three. It is more of a show than an exam but it is only exam that will decide whether you get promoted or not. Since the third exam is a show, it can't be too long or people will get impatient. Currently there are too many of you guys in here so we will be holding a few Quick preliminary rounds to thin you guys out a bit."

"Hokage-sama I got it from here."

"Alright Hayate." said the Hokage before leafing to the viewing box in a puff of smoke and leaves.

"*Cough* Why hello there. *Cough* My name is Gekko Hayate *Cough* and I will be the proctor the the preliminary rounds. *Cough* Because we are thinning people out would *Cough* any of you like to volunteer to quit?"

"Hayate-san are you ok?" asked Kiba who didn't know Hayate that well.

"I'm fine Inuzuka-san."

"I would like to quit, My chakra is running low and I got injured during the forest." said Kabuto.

"Ok so we have 26 of you remaining. We will match you up 1v1 against another genin and the winner will be able to move on to the 3rd part of the Chunin exams. The rules are simple, there are no rules. We would like it if you would avoid to kill or maim your opponents and you may be stopped if you try to kill for no reason. Any questions? Anyone need to go to the restroom?" said Hayate.

He got no response so he waved at the guy with the Random Number Generator to start the pairings. Letters were getting mixed up on the screen until they found the right letter and stopped one by one.

Inuzuka Kiba vs Akado Yoroi

Kiba was staring his opponent trying to intimidate him but the larger genin wasn't affected at all. Kiba didn't know what the guys specialty was but since he was a rather big guy he assumed he would be a close quarters fighter which was also Kiba's specialty. Kiba knew he couldn't take any risks with this guy since he was a more experienced genin and chances were he was probably stronger than him.

Yoroi was wondering what was going on since Orochimaru-sama told him that he rigged the randomizer for him to fight against the Uchiha to force him to draw on the cursed seal.

'The Konoha-nin probably checked up on their randomizer before the preliminaries started. I don't know what my orders are so I will try to win this one.'

"Why are you wearing sunglasses indoors? They aren't even the cool kind of sunglasses." said Kiba.

"Why do you wear that stupid thick jacket? I'm sure it isn't that cold in here. Then again I guess if you don't take showers on a regular basis then it would feel a lot colder than normal." Yoroi countered.

Kiba got impatient and decided to make the first move.

"Lets go boy!" said Kiba as he and Akamaru rushed towards Yoroi.

Kiba was running on 2 legs for a short while before getting on all fours. Kiba and Akamaru closed the gap between them and Yoroi pretty quickly and threw a few smoke grenades.

Yoroi couldn't see jack shit, his sunglasses weren't helping either. It would have been beneficial for him to remove the sunglasses but he didn't want anyone to see his crossed eyes. When Yoroi first went to the academy in Konoha he didn't have sunglasses so everyone saw his crossed eyes and made fun of him. He dropped out of the class, changed his name to Akado Yoroi and wore sunglasses before signing up for academy the next year. Everything went better for Yoroi after he wore his sunglasses so he didn't want to take them off, ever.

Sadly his sunglasses weren't helping him here as he ate punches to the face, body and he felt something bite his thighs. He made a thanks to Kami for not letting the bite get a little higher up. He realized he wouldn't be able to win if he stayed in the smoke screen so he ran one direction until he got out.

Kiba knew the guy would want to get out of the smoke screen as fast as possible so he had Akamaru wait outside the smoke after the initial assault. His predictions were correct and Akamaru jumped on Yoroi and bit him in the arm. Kiba wasn't sure if he was halucinating but Yoroi seemed glad that the dog bit him.

Yoroi was glad nobody knew of his special ability to absorb chakra so when the dog jumped up and bit him he was glad. He put his free arm on the dogs skull and began to draw chakra from the dog.

"Stupid dog, because of your stupid owner you will die here." said Yoroi to the Akamaru.

Kiba got really angry when Yoroi said he was going to kill Akamaru. Kiba with precise aim flicked a soldier pill into Akamaru's mouth and put one into his own. Akamaru started to shake and his fur turned into a red color and his hair got wilder.

Genin Viewing/Waiting Area

"Hey! Isn't that doping? You guys ran us through a drug test for steroids and this guy pops one in his and his puppies mouth!" yelled Naruto.

Hayate heard the blonde and answered his question.

"It was a soldier pill,*cough* it is allowed. It gives a person a*cough* chakra boost and lets them*Cough* fight for a long time."

Naruto was satisfied with the answer and shut up.

Back to the fight

Akamaru shook off Yoroi and growled at him as he stood next to his partner, Kiba.

Gijū Ninpō: Jūjin Bunshin(Beast Imitation Ninja Art: Beast Human Clone)

Akamaru transformed into a clone of Kiba and they stacked up on one another.

"Time to end this."

Kiba stared right at the bigger genin while Akamaru shunshined behind him.

Jōshō Teikiatsu Kiba(Rising Cyclone Fang)

Kiba and Akamaru began spinning and moving in a counter clockwise direction. They moved faster and faster until they made a cyclone funnel. Instead of the cyclone funnel pulling things into the bottom it created a reverse vacuum pushing Yoroi upward. Kiba and Akamaru also rose with Yoroi giving him a lot of cuts and scratches. As soon as Kiba and Akamaru pushed Yoroi to the top of the stadium and grinded him there for a second before Kiba and Akamaru stopped spinning. Kiba and Akamaru grabbed his hands and sling shotted him downward before spinning again and slamming Yoroi into the ground.

Giga Suramu

When Yoroi hit the ground it created a large crater and kicked up a lot of dust. When the dust settled people saw a grinning Kiba with a happy Akamaru on his head and a very broken Yoroi in the crater.

"Get dunked bitch." said Kiba.

"Winner Inuzuka Kiba. Medics please peel Yoroi from the floor."

Kiba ran up the stairs happily as the ramdomizer chose the next match.

"Dude Kiba that was bad ass!" yelled Naruto.

"I know right, I asked my mom if that move could be possible but she said it wouldn't work on a competent ninja so I used it during these exams since everyone here is like a genin."

"But still man, It was super cool." said Kenji.

"YOSH! KIBA-SAN YOUR FINISHING MOVE WAS FILLED WITH THE FLAMES OF YOUTH. IF I CANNOT CREATE A MORE HIP AND COOL MOVE BEFORE THE CHUNIN EXAMS END THEN I WILL RUN AROUND KONOHA 5 TIMES. AND IF I CANNOT COMPLETE THAT I WILL DO 1000 PUSH UPS WITH MY PINKIES. AND IF-"

Lee was cut off by Tenten smacking him over the head with a giant paper fan.

"That move was too troublesome." said Shikamaru who was impressed with the move but it looked like a lot of effort.

"That move looks too calorie intensive." said Chouji who had chips somehow.

Sasuke glared at Kiba since that move was very impressive and he wouldn't be able to copy it. Also he was planning to do a bad ass move similar too it but now he would keep it to himself.

"Man Kiba I thought you killed the poor guy." said Shinin.

"Im surprised I didn't." said Kiba.

With the Jonin

"I gotta admit that was a cool move." said Asuma in between puffs.

"YOSH, KURENAI YOUR STUDENT IS OVERFLOWING FROM THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH! HIS FLAMES BURN BRIGHT, I NEED TO TEACH MY STUDENT A FLASHY FINISHER LIKE THAT AND IF I FAIL I WILL CLIMB THE HOKAGE MOUNTAIN 20 TIMES WITH 1 HAND."

"Kurenai, did you give him the idea for that move?" asked a suddenly interested Kakashi.

"Uh, he told me he and his mom were working on something, I guess this was it."

Matchup Screen

Samidare vs Toki

"Samidare from*Cough* Amegakure and Toki from Takigakure,*Cough* please come down." said Hayate.

The fight between the Taki-nin and the Ame-nin went pretty well, they were both Suiton users and they were fairly matched.

Although Samidare was from Ame he wasn't one of the Ame-nin who favored genjutsu, he was a ninjutsu specialist just like his opponent Toki.

Toki was part of the brother duo of his team. In Takigakure if you are someones brother and are less than 2 years younger or older than them you will almost be guaranteed to be on the same team. Toki was the brother of Hoki who was older by 1 year. Although they are brothers they are very different, Hoki was a close combat specialist and had a bulky build while Toki had an agile build and was a nin/genjutsu specialist. His team was considered the 2nd strongest team Taki sent out for this chunin exams. The strongest team was unfortunately taken out by Naruto.

During the fight they spent a lot of time just firing suiton jutsu at each other to get a feel of each others strength with Suiton ninjutsu. They realized they were fairly matched so Toki started putting Samidare in a subtle genjutsu to screw his aim up. After a while Toki claimed the victory by hitting Samidare head on with a water bullet. Samidare tried to counter with his own but the disorienting genjutsu made him fire it to the side.

Shinin vs Suna no Kankuro

Shinin's fight vs Kankuro was on of the shortest fights during the preliminaries. Shinin was a very average ninja, at the age of 13 he was still at the strength of an average genin. Shinin didn't know too much ninjutsu and focused on hand to hand combat so as soon as the match started he rushed at Kankuro. He thought he won the match when he stuck his Kunai in Kankuro's gut but he later found out it was just a puppet. He found out too late as he puppet caught him and forced him to surrender giving the match to Kankuro.

Aburame Shino vs Tsurugi Misumi

Shino's match vs Misumi was also a very short one but it took a little longer than Shinin's fight. Misumi jumped on Shino as soon as the proctor said begin but as he began to choke Shino and threaten to break his neck he felt like his chakra was slowly disappearing. Shino had no plans of surrendering so Misumi broke Shino's neck only to find that Shino burst into Kikaichū beetles and sucked Misumi dry. Although Misumi lost the match for sure before Shinin did, It took time for Shino's bugs to drain Misumi.

Hoki vs Kenji

Hoki looked very confident going into the fight, his little brother just won his fight and he was going against a fellow close combat specialist. Hoki saw Kenji and noticed he wasn't overly big or muscular, the kid didn't look threatening at all which boosted his confidence even more.

Kenji looked at Hoki and noticed that he was a little bit on the heavy side. Not as big a Chouji but he was a pretty big fellow, he knew he could outspeed him in the speed department. He also noticed how confident Hoki looked, he countered that by looking kind of unaware and looked nervous. He knew if Hoki was that confident and saw him looking like he was Hoki would underestimate him which gave him an advantage.

When Hayate told them to begin they both pulled out their favorite weapons. Kenji pulled out his tanto and his enlarged kunai while Hoki went for 2 regular kunai knives. The two close combat specialists jumped at each other swinging their weapons. If a person was watching the fight from where the rest of the genin were they would see that they were at least evenly matched. In the fight however both of the fighters were holding back but Kenji was holding more back since he wanted to seem weak.

They both separated from each other to catch a break. Hoki then decided he was tired of holding back and threw both Kunai at Kenji wjo easily blocked them. Hoki then performed a few handseals.

Takigakure-Ryū: Mizukiri no Yaiba(Takigakure Style: Watercutting sword)

Hoki produced 2 swords made of water in his hands and smirked.

Kenji didn't know how those swords worked so he made a plan that he would stay back for a bit and swich into mid range combat.

Raiton: Inazuma (Lightning bolt)

Kenji fired of Lighting bolts one at a time towards the Taki-nin forcing him to dodge.

"Why are you being a pussy? Fight me in close quarters." taunted Hoki.

"I guess it must suck to be a one trick pony, when things don't go your way you cry." replied Kenji.

"Fucking bastard, Get over here!" said Hoki.

Kenji kept running backwards to keep a small distance in between them and fired random projectiles and jutsu at him. He noticed that the water swords were solid and could deflect Kunai, he also noticed they were very sharp since they left nicks in the kunai. Then it hit him, how could he have been so stupid. The counter the the swords was something he did regularly.

Kenji had been practicing a new technique that was really hard to dodge. He threw multiple shuriken that seemed to scatter and not be aimed at anything at all and formed some hand seals.

"Wow no wonder you are a close range specialist, your shuriken are way off." Taunted Hoki.

Kenji smirked when he finished his handseals.

Raiton: Hazumu Vorotu (Bouncing Volts)

A thin lightning shot out of his hands and on the shuriken electrifying them and creating a very thin wave of lighting that was difficult to be seen.

Hoki thought he simply electrified the shuriken so he dodged the badly thrown shuriken and was shocked when his body was paralyzed. He didn't even noticed the lightning wave that connected the shuriken. He couldn't do any hand-seals or anything, he was paralyzed.

Raiton: Inazuma

Kenji shot out a lightning bolt that hit Hoki in the chest effectively knocking him out.

Cheers broke out from the Konoha nin as one of their own won another match.

The Taki team didn't know what happened since Hoki was one of the best close quarters genin. They knew the other guy was also a close range fighter but they were surprised when he decided to switch to mid range. The Konoha nin seemed to be wasting a lot of chakra so they were expecting Hoki to win by tiring out the Konoha-nin until Hoki got caught. The third member who was the one who wanted to ask out the dead female of the Taki Trio was the last of the Taki nin that still needed to fight.

Genin Waiting/Viewing Area

"Good job man, switching to something you are less comfortable with to gain an advantage. If you keep up the versatility and keep doing stuff like that you will probably make it to chunin." said Naruto to his teammate.

"Thanks Naruto-taichou."

The other genin congratulated him except Sasuke of course. Sasuke didn't feel that his jutsu was worth copying since he only displayed 2 C-rank techniques.

Match up Screen

Tenten vs Suna no Temari

As Tenten was walking to the stairs to go down to the arena Naruto stopped her for a second and whispered in her ear.

"Tenten, I have heard of War Fan users in Suna. They use the War Fan to create a large amount of wind, I recommend you focus on Kenjutsu more than your long range throwing weapons. Against her your throwing weapons will be useless, use Kenjutsu and fight her close range and use some elemental ninjutsu if you know any. Good Luck."

"Thanks Naruto."

Naruto walked over to the sand-nin and also wished her good luck.

"Do I get a kiss before the fight?" said Temari.

"Maybe next time." said Naruto.

Before the fight began Tenten unsealed her Katana that her father gave to her. The Katana looked very nice it had a Blood red handle with black wraps, a black triangular shaped guard, the sheath of the blade was black with random red flowers.

Tenten secured the sheath at her side and when Hayate told them to begin she unsheathed her blade while she dashed at Temari. Temari tried to blow Tenten away with a blast of wind but Tenten dodged to the side and kept running at Temari. Tenten noticed that the all her scrolls got blown away when she narrowly dodged the wind blast. After dodging a few more wind blasts Tenten found herself in melee range and began swinging her Katana, Temari dodged what she could and blocked the rest with her large fan.

Tenten felt she had the advantage in close quarters since Temari would be unable to swing her fan around and blow her away. What Tenten didn't count on was Temari trying to smack her with her fan. Temari swung her fan around like a makeshift bo staff or an awkward 2 handed mace. Tenten had the advantage in speed but Temari had power. Tenten couldn't parry Temari's blows too well because of the force behind the fan which could knock her back enough for Temari to bust out the wind techniques.

Temari made a wide horizontal swipe with her closed fan and Tenten dashed forward hoping she had enough time to get a blow in. She felt a pain in her midsection as she realized she was too slow. She felt around her mid section for a second to see if she was alright and when she confirmed it she went back after Temari. Tenten wasn't really sure what she could do to win since she couldn't fight her at a long or mid range due to her wind techniques with her fan and when she attempted to fight her in close quarters combat Temari could fight her by using her fan as a club of some sort. She realized that being on the defensive wouldn't help her and she needed to be the aggressor.

Tenten dashed at Temari with her blade raised and swung downward. Temari blocked the swipe with her fan and smirked. Tenten wasn't finished there, right as her blade made a connection with Temari's fan she pulled it back quickly and spun around clock wise as she crouched to try to sweep Temari with her blade. Temari jumped back to avoid getting her feet chopped off and was met with a flurry of shuriken. Temari channeled chakra into her fan and opened it to use it as a makeshift shield for small projectiles. What she didn't expect was the katana with chakra channeled into it cutting through her fan and almost stabbing her. With great reflexes she closed her fan and used the fact that Tenten's blade was stuck in the fan to wrench it from Tenten's hands. Tenten lost her weapon but she wasn't going to allow Temari to keep hers after losing her Katana.

When Temari wrenched the blade from her hands she did a quick roundhouse kick to kick Temari's fan and knock it away from both of them. Temari and Tenten stared each other down. Both of them were trying to intimidate the other. Both of them were skilled long range fighters and had decent short range fighting ability with their respective weapons but neither of them practiced Taijutsu much. Tenten learned a little Taijutsu from Gai but she didn't really train in it. Temari was in the same boat, she was used to having her fan with her always so she never looked too much into Taijutsu. Nobody in her family actually paid much attention to Taijutsu. Kankuro used his puppets, Gaara had his sand, She had her Fan, and Her father had his Gold Dust.

Both Tenten and Temari just stared at each other for a few seconds breathing hard. From a distance it seemed like they were trying to intimidate each other again but both of them weren't even paying much attention to their opponents. Both Tenten and Temari were trying their hardest to remember some of the Taijutsu katas they were taught in the past since they didn't want to go in swinging their fist like a common thug. When they remembered enough of their katas to look presentable they ran at each other.

Tenten and Temari lunged at each other fists raised. Their fists met in mid air as they looked into each others eyes. Somehow they could feel what each other was feeling and thinking. It was said when two shinobi of equal skill fight and their fists meet they can read each other's minds. The same thought ran though both of their heads.

'This is going to be a fight I will remember.'

As soon as their feet touched the ground again they engaged in a fierce Taijutsu bout. Their punches and kicks looked like a blur from afar. Tenten was the first one to throw a punch after reengaging. Tenten opened with a Left jab into a right straight but Temari ducked under them and attempted to sweep Tenten who leaped back in response.

Tenten really wished she had he scrolls on her right now since Temari no longer had her fan but her scrolls were too far away. Tenten saw Temari form hand seals so she got ready to dodge.

'Damn she has ninjutsu that she can use, I wish I spent more time getting better all around as a ninja rather than specializing so much.'

Fūton: Reppūshō

Tenten jumped aside as the pressurized air passed by her. Tenten decided it would be a lot safer if she fought Temari using Taijutsu since she still was able to perform Ninjutsu without her fan.

Tenten closed the gap and engaged Temari in hand to hand combat. The fatigue was showing in both of the girls, their moves were getting slower and slower. Tenten was being affected by the fatigue more.

Tenten threw a sloppy right that Temari easily dodged and countered with a powerful right straight on Tenten's face. Tenten staggered backwards due to the punch and the fatigue and tried to cover up as well as she could.

Tenten exerted a lot more energy than Temari did so she felt the fatigue more than Temari. During most of the fight Temari stayed in one position while Tenten spent a lot of energy running and dodging wind blasts.

Temari closed the small gap in between them and just tried her best to land some shots inside of Tenten's guard. Temari got a few good shots off while Tenten desperately tried to fight her off but it wasn't working too well.

Tenten knew she probably wasn't going to win the fight. She lost in long range, mid range, and short range combat. She still wanted to keep fighting as long as possible because she could still get lucky and win.

Tenten threw some really sloppy punches towards Temari who easily side stepped to the right effectively dodging them and landing a left hook into a right straight to Tenten's face which caused her to stagger backwards again.

Temari saw her opponent was rocked and kicked her hard in the stomach in an attempt to get Tenten to drop her guard. She succeeded in making Tenten drop her guard and gave Tenten a powerful left straight which knocked her out.

Temari was relieved that her opponent was as rusty as her in Taijutsu and she expended a lot of energy trying to close the gap inbetween them and dodging her wind blasts which gave her the edge she needed to win.

"Winner, Suna no Temari." said Hayate.

The medics took Tenten to the hospital to check if she sustained any injuries during the fight.

When Temari came up the stairs nobody really said anything since the majority of the Genin were from Konoha and one of theirs lost. As she walked by she felt something on her arm and turned to see Naruto looking at her.

"Congratulations Temari-chan, I didn't know you could swing a fan like that. Beautiful and deadly, a good combination."

Temari's face was bright red while she tried to thank Naruto.

"T-Thank Y-you, N-Na-Naruto-kun." stammered Temari.

Naruto smiled at her and walked back to his group.

Temari just stared at him until Kankuro walked up to her.

"Ha! Sis has a crush on that Uzumaki brat." said Kankuro.

Temari smacked him over the head with the fan.

Match up Screen

Kaito vs Yamanaka Ino

"Ino-Chan good luck!." said Naruto with a big grin.

"Thanks Naruto-kun." said Ino before jumping over the railings.

In the Arena

"Kaito of Amegakure vs Yamanaka Ino of Konohagakure."

Kaito was approximately 5'3" in height and 130 lbs. His build wasn't skinny but he wasn't muscular either. By looking at him you would probably assume he would be a ninjutsu or genjutsu user.

Ino stood at 4'10" and 95 lbs, ever since she stopped dieting she gained 15 pounds and her figure looked even better than ever. After Ino stopped dieting her body slowly went from her academy stick thin figure to a figure which got a large majority of male genin her age double taking at her.

When she went to the academy, all the other girls that came from civilian families would talk about civilian models and how those models got their figures. The preteen girls looked up to the models as what they wanted themselves to look like. What they didn't know was most guys prefer more women with more meat than stick thin model like women. Also being stick thin was not a figure for a Kunoichi, which is why only 3 girls out of the 36 students of Naruto's graduating class actually made it to genin. After Ino stopped dieting she noticed she had a lot more energy which was very important for those who are pursuing a shinobi career.

Hayate called for the match to begin but both of the fighters decided to start off with some good ol' trash talk.

"Why don't you surrender right now? I don't want to hurt a pretty little thing like you. Maybe after this we can go out on a date. Whaddaya say?" said the smug Ame-nin.

"Eww as if I would go out with you. I am way out of your league kid."

This got the Ame-nin angry as he flashed through hand seals.

Suiton: Suidan no Jutsu

The Ame-nin's mouth filled up with water and he spat out a highly pressurized water in the direction of Ino.

Ino flashed through her own hand seals of a defensive jutsu Naruto taught her.

Doton: Shōheki(Enclosing Wall)

Naruto taught her the weaker version of the Doton: Doryuheki since at genin level fights a Doryuheki would be overkill and for non jinchuriki it could cause them to lose the fight because of the chakra consumption. Naruto also taught her the Doton: Doryuheki but he explained that she should only use it against more powerful attacks.

The highly pressurized water smashed into the wall doing no damage to the wall. If a person looked closely the wall got even bigger than it was before the Suiton jutsu hit. That was because the water was made of very dry earth so when the Suiton jutsu hit the wall it absorbed enough of the water to the point where it would expand but it would still remain solid.

The Ame-nin was preparing some more hand seals to fire another jutsu after the wall went down. To his surprise when the wall crumbled there was nothing behind the wall. He turned around expecting Ino to some how have gotten behind him but when he turned there was nothing. He decided she was using some kind of invisiblility jutsu if those existed and he focused on trying to feel her chakra signature. The boy was not a natural sensor so he had to try extra hard to try to sense something.

As soon as the boy closed his eyes Ino came out of the ground behind him and kicked him really hard in the balls.

"OW!" said the boy as he rolling on the ground in pain.

Ino then grabbed the boy's legs and spread them out.

"If you don't surrender I will smash your pathetic excuse of a reproductive organ."

"P-p-please d-don't I-I-I s-s-surrender."

"Winner Yamanaka Ino!" said Hayate.

When Ino happily walked up the stairs and the Ame-nin was carted off to the hospital all the guys looked at Ino in fear, well except for one.

"Ino-chan! I guess the jutsu I taught you really helped you." said Naruto.

"Naruto-kun to celebrate you should give me a kiss."

"EHRRRM!" came from Ami and Hinata.

"Oh, yah no kissing any of us until we talk after these preliminaries." said Ino.

The other 2 girls smiled and went back to what they were doing before.

Match up Screen

Hyuuga Neji vs Hyuuga Hinata

When this came up Hinata looked scared which made Naruto wonder what was her relationship like with her cousin.

Other jonin knew that Neji was from the branch family and Hinata was from the main family but they didn't know how those two branches acted towards each other. Only Gai and Kurenai knew what could possibly happen. Gai and Kurenai were fearing for Hinata because they both knew that Neji hated her with a passion.

Naruto ran up to Hinata before she walked down the stairs and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Hinata-chan, I don't know why you are scared of him but do your best. I believe you can beat him if you try your best, maybe use some Suiton jutsu to keep him at a range."

"T-thanks N-Naruto-kun."

In the Arena

"Alright, begin!"

"Hinata-sama please forfeit, fate has declared you will lose this fight."

"Neji-niisan I c-cannot forfeit this f-fight, someone i-important to me is w-watching."

"You are a failure of a Hyuuga, do you think you can stand against me? Have you forgotten that I am a genius of the Hyuuga clan?"

"I-I care not for your opinion N-Neji-niisan all I care about is the o-opinion of the one watching me. I will not lose!"

Hinata began to form hand seals and Neji had a confused look on his face.

Suiton: Mizurappa(Wild Water wave)

Neji was not expecting Hinata to pull out some ninjutsu. Hyuuga never used ninjutsu, they were mainly taijutsu fighters. He quickly dodged the ability and decided to counter with trash talk.

"Ha, the failure of a Hyuuga resorts to ninjutsu. Of course you don't want to fight me with Juken because you will lose."

Neji kept trying to get close to Hinata to use his Juken but Hinata kept backing away and throwing projectiles and Suiton jutsu at him.

"Failure, why don't you come close?"

"Shut up Neji-niisan." said Hinata as she kept a distance from him.

Suiton: Suidan no Jutsu

Hinata waited till Neji jumped forward before she shot the pressurized water at him so he would have a hard time dodging.

Neji knew he wouldn't be able to dodge her jutsu so he had 2 choices one was to take the shot and the other was to use a move he had been practicing in secret. He couldn't kawarimi since there was nothing in sight.

Kaiten

Neji spun around expelling chakra from his tenkutsu forming a chakra dome around him which acted as a shield. Hinata's pressurized water came into contact with it and the water was splashed all around Neji as he spun.

Hinata prepared her next Suiton jutsu for after Neji stopped spinning. Hinata started learning how to do the Kaiten 1 month before the chunin exams and she found out most Hyuuga held on to their Kaiten for 5-10 seconds. Since Neji was probably not an expert with the Kaiten since his Kaiten was very small he could probably only hold it for 5 seconds. Hinata did her hand seals and counted down till 5.

Suiton: Suidan no Jutsu

The second Neji's kaiten went down a large amount of pressurized water slammed into Neji and slamed him against a wall. Neji got up shakily and had a very angry look in his eyes.

Neji felt humiliated, a failure was able to land a hit on him and damage him. Fate decreed him the winner so why was she able to get such a hit in.

Neji reached into his shuriken pouch.

Shuriken Kage Bunshin

Neji's few shuriken multiplied into 20 shuriken in mid air flying towards Hinata. Hinata decided to show Neji he wasn't the only one who could do the Kaiten.

Kaiten

Hinata spun around deflecting all the projectiles Neji threw at her. When she ended her Kaiten she noticed Neji was pretty close to her and she would be forced to fight in hand to hand combat.

Hinata and Neji had a poke war with thier Juken. To those watching who didn't have a dojutsu it seemed very even. But if one had the byakugan and looked at both of their chakra coils they would see that Neji shut down many of Hinata's tenkutsu already.

While the two Hyuuga had their poke war Neji was smirking the whole time. He knew he was hitting Tenkutsu like Jiraya hit on women. When they both jumped back Hinata spat out some blood. and rolled up her sleeves. The tenkutsu that Neji hit showed in Hinata's arms, they looked like pimples but they didn't form a bump on her skin.

"Surrender Hinata-sama otherwise you will get hurt."

"I-I can't s-surrender, I must k-keep fighting." said Hinata weakly.

Neji dashed forward and blocked Hinata's defensive strikes while poking her multiple times on her arms as he blocked her defensive strikes. Hinata's arms seemed to be very difficult to move because she was showing a lot of strain trying to lift them.

Neji entered a wide stance that brought fear into Hinata's eyes.

"N-No, h-how do y-you know that?"

"Heh, You are in my field of divination."

Hakke Rokujūyon Shō

"2 palms."

"4 palms."

"8 palms."

"16 palms."

"32 palms."

"64 PALMS!"

Hinata flew back and skidded until her back was against the wall. She started to cough violently and blood came out with each cough. She willed her body to stand up but it took a lot of effort.

"Stay down Hinata-sama or I will strike you down. Just surrender now so you no longer have to suffer."

"N-Neji-niisan, I may b-be suffering physically r-right now but you are the o-one who is suffering emotionally. P-physical wounds can be h-healed by medical ninjutsu but no m-medical ninjutsu can remove the s-suffering you are going through. Y-you are suffering a-a lot m-more than me Neji-niisan."

Neji heard enough and dashed towards Hinata with the intent to kill.

"Hey stop*cough*! The match is over*cough* you won!" yelled Hayate as he dashed to intercept the blow but he was too far and not fast enough since he decided to wear extra weights that day. This morning when Hayate decided to wear more weights so he could get used to it he didn't imagine having to try to stop a genin from killing another one.

Luckily someone else was reacted fast enough. Naruto appeared right in front of Neji and blocked his palm strike, threw a right straight directly at Neji's face snapping his head back, then wrapped his left hand around the back of Neji's head and pulling it down to give Neji a hard uppercut with his right hand. Naruto then used the fact that Neji hadn't expected any of this to put Neji into a Guillotine choke while he wrapped his legs around Neji's waist pulling him to the ground. The other jonin jumped down and removed Naruto from Neji to prevent Naruto from killing him.

"Naruto stand down!" yelled Genma.

Naruto obeyed his sensei and went back into the waiting/observing area.

"Damn Naruto if you didn't stop him he could have killed her. Nice save." said Kiba.

"Good thing you were willing to go down there because it would have been to troublesome for me."

"Naruto! The way you stopped Neji from killing a fellow leaf nin was so YOUTHFUL! YOU MUST SHOW ME HOW TO DO THAT COMBINATION! JUST WATCHING IT MADE MY BLOODBOIL!" yelled Lee.

Neji and Hinata were carted off to the hospital since they needed to check if Neji sustained any damage from that quick altercation.

Rock Lee vs Sabaku no Gaara

Gaara and Lee's match was very exciting. None of the genin expected Lee to be so fast, he got even faster after he dropped his heavy weights. At first Lee seemed to be pushing Gaara really hard due to this speed and ability to get through Gaara's automatic sand protection. Eventually Gaara's sand started to block Lee more and more so he resorted to using the Chakra Gates. Lee went up to the 5th Gate before he did his reverse lotus but Gaara was able to sustain the damage while lee knocked himself out. Gaara won the match but he still attempted to kill Lee, Gai stopped him and took Lee to the hospital personally.(Quick A/N: Gaara didn't break Lee's limbs or anything this time. He knocked himself out with the reverse lotus.)

Nara Shikamaru vs Kasumi

"Nara Shikamaru of *cough*Konohagakure and Kasumi*cough* of Amegakure please come down."

Kasumi jumped off the rails to get down quickly while Shikamaru walked slowly down the stairs.

"Ah troublesome, I have to fight a girl."

"Hmph, I thought you were kind of cute but you are just a sexist jerk."

"Hajime!"

Kagemane no Jutsu

Shikamaru sent out his shadow which was easily dodged by Kasumi.

"Well there goes my strategy. I guess I'm screwed now."

"That was a pathetic strategy anyways." taunted Kasumi.

Shikamaru grabbed 2 handfuls of shuriken and barraged Kasumi with them. Kasumi dodged them easily and began forming handseals.

Suiton: Mizurappa

Kasumi spat out a large amount of pressurized water at Shikamaru who dodged it easily by tumbling diagonally while making a rat hand seal.

Kagemane no Jutsu

Shikamaru used the shadow created by Kasumi's water jutsu to paralyze Kasumi.

"Kagemane no Jutsu complete!"

"So what if you got me? It's not like you can do anything to me that wouldn't hurt you."

"I agree, this is quite troublesome. I guess I'll have to hurt both of us then."

Shikamaru did a back flip causing Masumi to do a backflip but instead of landing the flip she smashed her head on the wall behind her knocking her out.

"Winner, Nara Shikamaru!"

Haruno Sakura vs Ami

Ami silently cheered when she heard who she was going against. All the rookies knew the weakest of them were either Shinin or Sakura, more so Sakura because she was weak at all types of ninja combat except genjutsu. Ami knew that Sakura could have improved but she was sure that she was still stronger than her.

Sakura was nervous, the last time she had seen Ami fight she beat Hinata and almost beat Ino. If Sakura was still in the academy she could say her and Ino were at least similar skill level but after they graduated it seemed like Ino decided to take training seriously and became a lot stronger than her. Kakashi tried to teach her a few things before the Chunin exams but he was only able to teach her some low level genjutsu and the Shuriken Kage Bunshin. He worked with her Taijutsu but her stamina wasn't very good and because she still dieted she didn't have the strength of Ino or Ami. Kakashi tried to get her to do exercises that increase a person's chakra pool but she didn't have enough time to expand her chakra pool enough for elemental ninjutsu. She could only win fights by outsmarting the opponent with genjutsu but she remembered Ami also used genjutsu.

"Hajime!"

Sakura started out with her standard opening which was using Bunshin.

Bunshin no Jutsu

Sakura created 2 perfect bunshin and ran in a zig zag pattern while forming hand seals. She decided that she would try to surprise Ami with a genjutsu and use the small time Ami is under a genjutsu to end the fight.

Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu(Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings)

Sakura made it seem like her and her doppelgangers were comming in from the left instead of head on. Sakura could feel her chakra invading Ami's mind and she smirked because she knew it had taken effect.

Ami was looking at Sakura make her clones and run at her, halfway to her they jumped to the left and resumed running at her. Something felt weird with that and she also felt an outside source of chakra wash over her.

'Genjutsu.' Ami thought with a smirk.

'I'll cancel it when she gets a little closer and surprise her.'

Ami waited till the "Sakuras" were about 10 meters away from her before she canceled the genjutsu.

"Kai!"

Instead of the Sakuras comming from the left they were coming straight ahead. She acted like she was still in the genjutsu and pretended to be looking left.

Sakura smirked, she still was under the genjutsu. She laughed inside about being worried about the match. She reared her fist back preparing to lay the smack down on Ami when she got close.

Right before Sakura was about to land her punch on Ami's head Ami ducked and shoulder bashed Sakura in the stomach catching her off guard.

"W-What? H-how?"

"You aren't the only one who uses genjutsu."

Ami flashed through a few handseals.

Suiton: Mizurappa

Sakura got up as fast as she could and dived to the side to avoid the torrent of water. When she was back on her feet she was met with a fist in the gut.

Ami used the Suiton jutsu to try to get Sakura to dodge or take the blast. As soon as she dodged she canceled the jutsu and dashed towards her and buried her fist in Sakura's gut and followed it with a hammerfist to Sakura's head.

Sakura was hurting, she first got punched in the gut really hard then got hammerfisted into the ground. She rolled over to avoid the next punch and got up. She whipped out a handful of shuriken and threw it at Ami while forming handseals.

Shuriken Kage Bunshin

Her 5 shuriken multiplied into 25 while flying in mid air.

Ami smirked when she saw the 25 shuriken flying her way. She remembered her training with Raido-sensei and whipped out her Tanto and channeled chakra into her arms and legs to deflect all of the shuriken before putting her tanto back in it's sheath.

Sakura was not expecting that she just saw, during the competition a few months back Ami didn't use a weapon other than the standard shuriken and kunai. She didn't have much time to be shocked because Ami was running at her. Sakura calmed her self and got ready to meet her opponent in a taijutsu bout.

Ami took the first shot as she threw a right straight that was parried by Sakura and Ami recieved a punch to the left side of her cheek.

Ami wasn't phased by the punch since it didn't hold much power in it so as her head moved back slightly she got revenge by the form of her left straight to right side of Sakura's chin.

Sakura took a few steps back because the blow to the chin rocked her slightly. She got back into her fighting stance and took a few steps forward to meet Ami.

Sakura was the first one to throw a punch this time as she threw a few left jabs to try to distract Ami. Ami was parrying the blows and watching Sakura's shoulders to predict her moves. It looked like Sakura was going to throw a left hook but instead she did a spinning back kick to Ami's mid section pushing her back a bit.

Ami dashed forward evading a right straight and uppercutting Sakura. Sakura's head snapped back due to the force of the uppercut, she didn't have much time for recovery before a left hook slammed into her jaw. The left hook was followed with an explosive right hook that just dropped Sakura.

"Winner Ami!" said Hayate before the medics went to check if she was alright.

Akimichi Chouji vs Uchiha Sasuke

Asuma patted Chouji on the back before giving him a pep talk.

"Chouji remember, if you win i'll pay for an all you can eat barbecue for you."

Chouji ran down the stairs to the Arena.

Everyone was looking at Sasuke wondering why he was moving so slowly to the Arena. Most people would have expected him to jump down the rails.

Down in the Arena

Sasuke was staring at Chouji while his hand was rubbing the back of his neck. Sasuke knew he was entering this fight at a disadvantage because he got tagged with a cursed seal before the preliminaries. He had time to rest since his fight was one of the last but he was still not even close to 100%. His sensei, Kakashi, told him to try to use as little chakra to win as possible. But against Chouji that would be difficult since Chouji can use his Human Bullet Tank or his Partial Expansion which would make it very difficult for Sasuke to win without chakra.

Chouji didn't know about Sasuke's curse mark so he was also thinking he was at a disadvantage. A 100% Sasuke could kick Chouji's ass from the Chunin exams arena all the way to Iwagakure. Chouji just kept the thought that if he won he could have all you can eat barbecue in his mind.

"Hajime!"

Sasuke dashed forward to try to get Chouji to fight him in Taijutsu.

Chouji knew he would probably lose in Taijutsu since Sasuke was so much faster than he was so he jumped back and did his favorite jutsu.

Baika no Jutsu(Multi-Size)

Chouji swelled up into a giant ball before tucking his arms, legs, and head in the ball.

Nikudan Sensha(Human Bullet Tank)

Chouji began spinning and shot towards Sasuke.

'Fuck, I have to use chakra.'

Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu

Sasuke shot out a fireball approximately the same size as Chouji and he felt his neck start to burn.

Chouji slammed right into the giant fireball and it exploded sending him flying into the wall. Chouji stopped spinning and there were burns all over him. He was also a little dizzy so he just stood there for a few seconds.

Sasuke started screaming in pain as his curse mark spread through out his body. Only a few people knew what was going on with him, those that knew hoped he could fight it off or he would be disqualified.

Chouji heard Sasuke scream out in pain and thought it was his chance to win.

Bubun Baika no Jutsu (Partial Multi-Size)

Chouji grew his right arm and threw a punch towards Sasuke.

-Slow Motion-

Sasuke could feel his body on fire and it hurt but it also felt really good at the same time. Suddenly he remembered that if he used this power he would be disqualified from the preliminaries. He tried his best to suppress the power, he called on his Uchiha pride to help him.

'I don't need this trash to win!' he thought.

"RAAAAAAHHHHH!"

His will was fighting off the Cursed seal but he needed more to completely fight it off.

'UCHIHA'S DON'T NEED TO BORROW OTHER PEOPLE'S POWER RAAAAAAAHHHHHH!'

The cursed seal only receded to 1/4 of his body. His will was winning the fight vs the Cursed Seal.

Chouji was inching closer and closer, his Giant arm was around 10 meters away from Sasuke.

-Slow Motion Off-

Chouji finished his lunge and slammed his fist at Sasuke and smashed the wall behind Sasuke.

"Did I get him?"

Suddenly something appeared infront of him and kicked him in the chin upwards. Chouji's arm shrank back to its original size while flying up.

Sasuke barely dodged Chouji's fist as his will beat off the cursed seal .3 seconds before he became a smear on the wall. He quickly dodged and appeared in front of Chouji doing the kick Lee did on him earlier.

As Chouji was rising in the air Sasuke appeared right below him.

Sasuke grabbed Chouji's arm spun him around and gave him a heavy left hook to the face followed by a right hook. Sasuke then hit him with a left uppercut which caused Chouji to flip in mid air. Sasuke grabbed Chouji and twisted to move Chouji below him. He then barraged Chouji with punches and kicks as they fell back to the ground. Before they hit the ground Sasuke did a flip and smashed Chouji with and Axe kick.

Ouja Rendan(King's Barrage)

When the smoke cleared it showed a knocked out Chouji laying next to a barely standing Sasuke.

"Winner Uchiha Sasuke!"

Instead of taking Sasuke to the hospital he was taken to a different place to get his curse mark sealed by Kakashi. And Chouji was taken away by the medics.

Match up Screen

Uzumaki Naruto vs Jirou

Naruto and his opponent both jumped over the railings to get down to the arena faster.

"Heh, I guess we were meant to do battle. I will avenge Kaoru by killing you. I had a crush on her for years and built up the courage to ask her out, then you just kill her. I LOVED HER! You will pay for killing Kaoru."

"Blah blah revenge, I will kill you blah blah. Are you sure you aren't related to Uchiha Sasuke?" taunted Naruto.

"Hajime!"

"You bastard, you will die!" said Jirou while pulling out his Katana and running at Naruto.

"Well I am an orphan so I could possibly be a bastard." said Naruto while he unsealed his Sairentoburēdo and waited for the Taki-nin to come.

Jirou jumped and slashed downward at Naruto. Naruto parried the blow with the Sairentoburēdo and gave Jirou a small cut on his thigh. Naruto was in no rush to end the fight.

Jirou came at him again but with a horizontal swipe. Naruto jumped back while the swipe was in motion and ran back in when he was safe and landed a left hook on Jirou's face.

Jirou was beyond pissed, the boy he was supposed to kill was toying with him. He hated to admit it but the boy was far superior to him with weapons.

"Why don't we fight like men and fight with our fists." said Jirou hoping that Naruto wasn't very good at Taijutsu.

"Uh sure why not. It'll last longer that way too."

Naruto unsealed his Sairentoburēdo as Jirou sheathed his Katana and they got into their fighting stances.

Naruto decided to be the aggressor this time and dashed towards Jirou. Naruto jumped in with a superman punch which was blocked by Jirou. Jirou countered with a right straight which Naruto ducked under. Naruto then nailed Jirou with a left hook that Jirou didn't see comming, Jirou took a few steps back as Naruto inched forwards. Jirou waited to Naruto to inch forward again to nail him with a front kick. Naruto took the hit but blocked most of the damage with his arm.

Naruto grew impatient since Jirou was being overly defensive and decided to take action. Naruto lunged forward and threw a right straight which connected with Jirou's face. Jirou didn't expect Naruto to be that fast so he didn't have time to block. Jirou's head snapped back due to the force of the punch and his guard loosened for a second. That second was all Naruto needed as he again closed the gap and landed another right straight due to Jirou's loose guard. Jirou staggered backwards but Naruto wasn't finished with him yet and again he closed the gap and landed a powerful punch to Jirou's gut. Jirou was busy covering his face so he had no defenses around his gut and he took the full blow and doubled over. Naruto then kneed him really hard in the face causing him to fall over.

"Get up."

Jirou struggled to get up, the last knee really did some damage. He knew he had to fight at a distance, from what he'd seen the boy was excellent in the close range. Jirou began to form hand seals.

Naruto saw Jirou trying to form the hand seals for his jutsu and he decided to be a dick and prevent him from completing it. In Jirou's eyes Naruto just vanished but Naruto just dashed as fast as he could and kicked Jirou in the face. Jirou was sent flying towards the wall and left a dent in it.

'Shit! He is fucking fast.'

Jirou started limping away from Naruto who was slowly walking in his direction.

Naruto could hear Jirou whimper and he began to laugh out loud.

"Hahahaha, Hey weren't you supposed to avenge someone? Why are you limping away?"

Jirou had an idea, he could bait him into the corner and whip out his Katana and try to cut him in half.

"Why don't you just surrender before you hurt yourself more."

Jirou limped to a corner as Naruto slowly followed him. When Naruto got to the corner Jirou made his last stand as he pulled out his Katana as fast as he could and tried to lop off Naruto's head.

Naruto expected him to try something like this when he didn't surrender. He unsealed his Sairentoburēdo blocked the strike and stabbed Jirou in the stomach with a Kunai he pulled out of his Kunai pouch with his left hand.

"Surrender and you won't have to die here."

"N-N-Never, if I live past this day I will hunt you down and kill you eventually."

"I was hoping you'd say something like that."

Naruto gripped the Kunai embeded in Jirou's stomach twisted it and spilled Jirou's guts by ripping out the Kunai with a horizontal swipe. Jirou dropped his katana due to the pain but used both of his hands to grip on to Naruto's arm.

"DO IT! YOU PUSSY FINI-"

He was cut off by a squelching sound, He looked down and saw that Naruto's Sairentoburēdo entered his chest and exited out of his back. He coughed some blood up and loosened his grip.

"Hahahaha, you may have killed me but you will be the one who suffers from this. I will be long and gone before you can do anything about it. But I will haunt your dreams, you will see my face and I will be your reminder that you are a cold blooded killer. Every time you try to sleep you will see my face. You will never get a good nights rest after this day. HAHAHAHA!"

"I've killed hundreds, what makes you think your pathetic death will have any effect over me. Just watch, I will be sleeping like a baby tonight." Naruto whispered in his ear before he stood up and walked away.

"NO! NOOO!" yelled the Taki-nin as his life left his eyes and he slumped over.

Hayate wanted to stop the match before this happened but the Taki-nin refused to surrender and ended up getting himself killed. He couldn't blame Naruto for killing the boy because he did offer him a chance to surrender and the boy attacked him with his Katana. If Hayate were in Naruto's shoes he would have done the same thing. He did think that the Taki boys death was probably caused because the Taki boy was kind of crazy.

Hiruzen was watching his surrogate grandson kill a person right in front of his eyes. It wasn't a clean kill too where he got hit by a lightning jutsu or fire jutsu or buried under a earth jutsu. Those kills you sometimes will never even see the body, but on this one his surrogate grandson was forced to spill the enemies guts and jam his arm with the blade attatched through the boy's heart. And not only did the boy die, he cursed him and told him he would be haunting his dreams. He knew his surrogate grandson had killed before, especially in his mission to the wave but then he was influenced by the chakra of the Kyuubi. This time it was all him that killed the boy. He did wonder what Naruto did to make the other boy scream at him while he walked away.

Anko loved what she just saw, that boy she started to get friendly with just pulled some awesome shit. First he toyed with the boy, cut him up and roughed him up a little, then he just stabbed the boy in the stomach out of the blue, it didn't end there too he then slashed the boys stomach and spilled his guts all over the floor before ending him by jamming his blade through the boys chest. Anko was watching him when the boy started to curse Naruto and tell him he would haunt him. Anko noticed Naruto had a smirk on his face and when Anko saw him whisper something in the dying boys ear and cause the dying boy to scream at him while he walked away it sealed the deal. She was definitely going to buy the kid dinner after this, he just gave her a live torture show right under the Hokage's nose, she needed to pay him back somehow. She knew she was going to like this kid, first he was very nice to her and related to some of her experiences then he gave her a nice show when she was about to get bored of the little kiddies fighting without any blood being shed.

Genin Waiting/Observing Area

The genin were shocked with what they just saw. Their friend, who they knew as a very nice and caring guy just killed someone right in front of their eyes. It wasn't a clean kill too, it was really messy. Ino, Ami, and Kenji knew that Naruto had killed before and Ami and Kenji watched him kill 4 people in the forest of death but even they were surprised with what they saw. They all knew the other boy kind of forced his hand but the brutality shocked them.

"G-g-good j-job man." stuttered a nervous Kiba.

Naruto just walked by silently.

'Naruto just killed a person. His reasoning was sound, I would have probably been forced to do the same thing in his position but that brutality was not necessary.' thought the Aburame.

"Damn Naruto that fight was way too troublesome." said the Nara who was able to hide his nervousness.

"It's alright Naruto-taichou I understand why you did it." said Kenji since he did understand why Naruto did it.

He just didn't understand why it had to be so brutal.

Naruto sat down on the ground and balled up. Ami and Ino saw him and came to comfort him.

Ino had saw the whole thing and didn't know her Naruto-kun could be that brutal if the time called for it. She was slightly scared but then she remembered he was still the same boy who had saved her years ago. He was still her best friend that did his best to make her laugh and smile. He was still the boy who was always there to listen to her problems. He was still the boy who helped her become the kunoichi she was today. She accepted what he did because even though he was still that same boy, that boy was also a shinobi.

A/N: Sorry again for the time it took for me to get this chapter out. I got stuck many times during the fight scenes and I spent a lot of time deciding who would fight who and how it would end and stuff. Also I had gone back and revised my earlier chapters for the new readers. If you need to tell me something like if there is an error or something doesn't make sense, just leave a review and I will try to clear things up or fix the mistake. Also if there was something that upset you, you can inform me of it and I will take a look at it and decide if i should remove it or not.

Also I was wondering, how have I been doing so far? This is my first fanfic and I wanted to get your guys' opinion on it. I know some of my fight scenes might not be that great it would be nice if you could leave some tips or suggestions to make my stuff better.

1. NarutoxOC Hanzo the salamander knew he wasn't going to be able to hold off the rebel troops forever. They also began targeting his family so to protect his pregnant daughter he asks Konoha to grant his pregnant daughter asylum. Basically Canon Naruto but slightly more intelligent.

2. NarutoxOC During the warring states period a small group of Uchiha clan members defied the will of the Clan head and were exiled from the clan. The exiled Uchiha eventually found their way into the Senju clan where they were taken in. Many years later members of the exiled Uchiha clan live in Konoha seperate from the Uchiha clan and have no idea of each others existance. Thankfully they were not targeted during the Uchiha massacre because nobody knew of them. Due to breeding with non Uchiha the exiled Uchiha rarely activate the Sharingan. Only one family kept their bloodline pure but kept their Kekkei Genkai a secret. Basically Canon Naruto slightly more intelligent.

3. NarutoxAyame Sakura once joked about how if Naruto liked ramen so much then why didn't he just marry it. Surprisingly Naruto took the joke seriously and decided to get to know his favorite ramen waitress more. Will it be possible for a shinobi to have a legitimate relationship with a civilian especially if he becomes wanted across the elemental nations? Canon Naruto.

4. NarutoxMikoto during the 4th shinobi great war Obito decided to kill everyone fighting against him before he activated the infinite tsukuyomi. As the Juubi charges up the biggest Bijuudama they have ever seen Naruto decides to take a risk and fire his own Bijuudama into the Bijuudama the Juubi is creating. His risk backfires as it creates a gigantic explosion which consumes the planet and kills everything. Luckily while he was running away he ended up traveling through time after moving faster than the speed of light. The 16 year old finds himself sent back in time 26 years in the past, he decides to make it his mission to prevent Obito Uchiha from ever meeting Madara. 16 year old Canon Naruto but more mature and intelligent. (Pairing volatile, willing to change if necessary)

5. NarutoxTBA(To Be Announced) Title: Relic of a dead age. Right after the sealing of the Kyuubi into Naruto the Kyuubi finds an opening and tries to escape. There was good news and bad news, the good news was Naruto survived and the Kyuubi didn't get out, the bad news was all of Naruto's outer tenkutsu was damaged which destoryed Naruto's ability to do Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. Naruto as a child read a lot of books and really wanted to become a shinobi. Every time the Sandaime was asked by Naruto to join the academy the Sandaime denied him because of his disability, after showing him a book the Sandaime finally gives in and lets Naruto and another student(Rock Lee) into the academy. Naruto who uses mainly Taijutsu, Nintaijutsu, Kenjutsu. Occupation: Assasination specialist. Canon Naruto slightly more intelligent. Will go from good to grey.
