The crowd was staring at the lone contestant standing in the middle of the arena.
"I wonder were that other kid went, the white eye prodigy one."
"Yah where is he! I bet on that guy!"
"Fucker better come or I will make him run into an accident during a mission."
In the Arena
"Shit, kid you might just get a bye for the first round." said Riichi to Naruto.
"I was looking forward to kicking his ass too."
Riichi quickly covered his mic before telling Naruto something.
"I was betting on you too, don't tell anybody though." he said before adjusting his mic back so those in the crowd could hear him.
"Ahem! If Hyuuga Neji is not in this Arena in 3 minutes he will be disqualified."
2 Minutes and 59 seconds Later
Right before Riichi was about to give Naruto a win by default and right before those who bet on Neji were about to riot a cloud of smoke enveloped the arena.
"What*Cough* the Fuck?" asked Riichi.
The smoke cleared and there was a man wearing a green skin tight jumpsuit with a jonin vest covering his top his hair was spiked and he had his headband over his right eye and a mask over his mouth. Next to him there was a boy with white eyes wearing a beige jacket and black shorts.
"I'm sorry I was late, you see I was walking here with my most youthful student and a beautiful young and fit woman asked me and my most youthful student to accompany her to her house. When we were there we engaged in sexual intercourse while my most youthful student had intercourse with the beautiful woman's sister. We still would have been on time if we left but they offered us something to eat because of our good performance. After that we began walking to the stadium but another young beautiful woman needed a certain itch scratched and who am I too deny a most beautiful youthful woman. After having sexual intercourse again me and my student walked in the direction of the stadium but the path was crossed by a rabid dog so we went the long way around and another most youthful woman invited us for inter-"
"Shut the fuck up Gai, we know that is all bullshit. You can't get laid if your life depended on it, stop trying to be like Kakashi. Kakashi doesn't even brag about getting laid, which is one of the reasons why he is so cool. And you aren't even late, you are actually just in time." cutoff Riichi.
"Impossible, on my clock it said it was 2pm."
"Gai, did you forget about the time change yesterday?"
Everyone laughed at Gai who had spiked his hair and even wore his headband over his eye and wore a mask. It was quite a sad sight but a very funny one but one person in the crowd was not amused.
"HEY STOP LAUGHING AT GAI-SENSEI! HE IS IN THE SPRINGTIME OF YOUTH AND IS VERY HIP AND COOL! KAKASHI-SENSEI MIGHT BE A GENIUS IN HIP AND COOLNESS BUT GAI-SENSEI IS A GENIUS OF HARD-WORK LIKE ME!"
Everyone in the stadium stopped laughing for a second to stare at what seemed to be a mini me of the guy in the arena but without his hair spiked, headband, and mask. Also the boy was on a crutch and had a cast on his arm and leg as he walked around using a crutch.
Lee and Gai's eyes met and they both began to cry uncontrollably. The crowd had no idea why both of them were crying but they just were. Before they were warned by more experienced Konoha nin who knew of the 2, those who didn't know watched as the man in the arena dashed towards the boy with the cast and a sunset on a beach appeared where the 2 weirdos met. They were unable to move their eyes or control their bodies as they watched 2 men hugging in the sunset on a beach.
"AHHHHHH! KILL IT WITH FIRE, DO SOMETHING! MAKE IT STOP!" screamed those who saw the scene, they hoped they would never see that happen again.
After someone finally separated Gai and Lee using a crowbar they began to proceed the match.
In the Arena
"Alright now we can start the match, you guys ready?"
Both contestants answered with a short nod.
"Hajime!"
Smoke was seen where the two genin previously were. And the two genin engaged in combat in the middle of the arena for all to see. Neji sent out a flurry of Juken strikes trying to shut down some of Naruto's tenkutsu. Naruto dodged those he could and jumped back when it was too difficult to out maneuver. Naruto watched carefully at his opponent's strikes to try to find an opening. But while he waited for an opening he couldn't do anything but dodge.
Shortly after dodging many strikes Naruto saw his opening in Neji's offence. Neji threw out a palm strike after another Juken strike and Naruto saw Neji's other hand was pulling back so moved to the side so the palm strike would miss and he grabbed Neji's wrist while creating a seal-less Kage Bunshin. He pushed Neji to the left while the Kage Bunshin grabbed the wrist and ran around Neji clockwise forcing him to turn his back on the real Naruto. The real Naruto kicked Neji in the back and sent him flying. Neji landed on the ground harshly and bounced a few times before coming to a halt. Neji stood up and he had a few cuts on his face from the rocks on the ground.
"First hit and first blood goes to Uzumaki Naruto. That looked like it hurt." said Riichi.
Those in the crowd who bet for Naruto cheered loudly. From the amount of people cheering a person could assume that most people bet for Neji or didn't bet at all.
In the waiting area the rookie 12 still in the competition and were present cheered for Naruto since they were kind of angry at Neji for hurting Hinata.
"Your foolish tactics won't beat me, fate has decreed me the winner of this match."
"Hmm, I guess if fate has decreed you the winner then I guess I will lose."
"Yes, you might as well quit or you'll end up like Hinata-sama."
"Proctor."
"Yes?"
"Can you tell him that he can suck my dick?"
"Neji, Naruto said you can suck his dick."
Neji's face turned into a frown as he got back into his fighting stance.
"You know if you were sucking my dick and if you don't look up, I could mistake you for a girl." said Naruto.
In the Crowd
"Shots fired!"
"Haha! I love this kid."
"Kick his ass Hyuuga kid!"
"Fuck that, kick his ass blondie!"
Waiting Area
Kiba was howling with laughter annoying some people in the waiting area.
"Oh, my god that was so funny."
"Go Naruto-kun!" yelled Ami and Ino at the same time.
Back in the Arena
Neji dashed at Naruto and landed a powerful palm strike on Naruto's stomach, when it hit a blast of chakra expelled from his back. Naruto began bleeding out of his mouth but instead of having a face that showed pain he had a huge grin.
"Ow, I wonder what will hurt more, that or this." he said while grabbing Neji's arm and exploding.
BOOM! Neji was launched out of the black smoke and hit his back on a tree.
"*Cough* What the fuck? *Cough*" said Neji as he coughed up blood.
He didn't know what just happened, he had his Byakugan activated the whole time and there were no clones or anything around them and suddenly the guy he was fighting exploded.
In the crowd people were confused, they didn't know if the other boy did a suicide attack or what.
In the waiting area they too were confused and many were praying that their friend was OK.
When the smoke cleared there was a large crater with nothing inside of it.
Neji walked over to the proctor slowly.
"*Cough* Did I-"
Neji was cut off by a foot that came out of the ground and kicked him at a 45 degree angle and launched him in the air backwards. As he was in the air Naruto came out of the ground near where Neji would land and jumped in the air and gave Neji a powerful axe kick down to the ground. Neji struggled to get up but he managed to get up.
People watching were dumbfounded as they had no idea what just happened.
"H-How...y-you exp-exploded."
"Oh, that? That wasn't me, I wouldn't do a suicide technique like that. That was a clone." said Naruto with a grin.
"It matters...not. I...won't...lose."
"Your fate has betrayed you it seems, why don't you surrender before you get even more hurt."
"*Cough* I won't surrender... I need to win. If I lose...*Cough* I can't show... the main branch... my talent."
"Why would you have to do that?"
"My fate like yours is already set, the day I was born into the branch family I was fated to live a horrible life. Unlike other clans the Hyuuga has-"
"A Main family and a Branch family, and the Branch family has a cursed seal to protect the Byakugan. I know that."
"That's not it, the seal doesn't just protect the Byakugan but it also allows them to torture and kill us on a whim. One hand seal is all it takes for a Main branch Hyuuga to activate the cursed seal, with that one hand seal the Cursed seal begins to give us extreme pain and if used for too long it will destroy our brain and kill us."
"That is disgusting, family doing that to other family members. I feel for you I really do, but Hinata was different. She thinks of you as an older brother regardless of what family you are, she cares for you and you almost beat her to death."
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! Hinata-sama was the reason my father was killed." Neji then told the whole story of Hinata's kidnapping and the death of his father.
Hiashi who was watching in the stands had a hard time listening to everything.
"So you see, my fate is sealed. Most likely after this tournament they will kill me for revealing their secre- AHHH! AGGGHHH!"
Neji began clutching his head as he balled up on the floor screaming in pain.
Hiashi saw Neji suddenly scream in pain and clutch his forehead.
'Cursed Seal.'
Hiashi quickly activated his Byakugan and pumped more chakra into his eyes so he could find the culprit. He saw chakra emanating from one of the main house Hyuuga who formed the hand seal for the cursed seal to activate. Hiashi quickly dashed to the culprit who didn't expect anyone to stop him. Hiashi delivered a few Juuken strikes to the person and the slumped over dead. Those around him thought he was just knocked out since he was just poked a few times and they didn't have much understanding of the Hyuuga Taijutsu style.
Neji recovered from the cursed seal and stood up.
"You see, someone just tried to kill me or send me a message."
"Neji, surrender please before they actually kill you. Although I am still mad at you for what you did to Hinata you don't deserve to die like that. After this match I will do my best to help you with your predicament."
"Nobody can help me, my fate is to die a martyr. To live forever in the minds of the branch family as the boy who died with his head held high refusing to be afraid, refusing to be the main house's bitch. To show the branch family what it's like to have a pair. The branch family is pitiful, they run around doing what ever the main house tells them to do, no matter how immoral. I've seen married women forced into pleasuring another man because if she didn't her whole family would die. With my death there will be chaos and rebellion, the branch family will fight and we will die. But we will die with our dignity and our rebellion will be listed in history. The branch family, the persecuted members of a prestigious clan, fought back for freedom and died so that they will no longer be slaves and will be free."
Hiashi in the stands was shocked at what he heard, Neji was planning on dying to start a rebellion against the main family. Hiashi himself never really liked the cursed seal and the seperation between the two families but he couldn't do anything about it. They've had the two families for forever and if he ever tried anything the elders would have him stripped of his clan head title and cast him and his daughters into the branch family. He kept quiet and did as he was told to save his daughters. Although he didn't show them much love, the least he could do for them was keep them from that fate. But he didn't want to watch his twin brother's son just die so he would have to talk with the boy after, hopefully after talking to him he would be able to set the boy straight and take him off the path he was currently walking. And hopefully he would get to him before the other Hyuuga or he will die.
"Dude, just hang on, things will get better. I'll promise you, I will do everything in my power to help you and maybe get rid of that thing."
Naruto still didn't like the guy but he was a fellow Konoha shinobi and some things that the main family of his clan did were just straight up atrocious. If he were to become Hokage he would need to get rid of that cursed seal and fix the Hyuuga clan. They were a really fucked up clan.
"I won't surrender, and by the way you are in my Field of Divination." said Neji as he entered a different stance.
"2 palms"
Neji shot forward with 2 palms trying to get a blow in but Naruto dodged to the side.
"4 Palms"
Neji dashed after Naruto firing 4 quite strikes. Naruto was able to dodge 3 of the strikes but one hit him in the arm and it hurt.
"8 Palms"
Neji sent a flurry of strikes Naruto's way and was able to connect 2 of them.
"16 Palms"
Neji caught Naruto off guard and landed 6 palms on the tenkutsu the others missed tenkutsu but connected.
"32 Palms"
After the 16 palms Naruto couldn't defend himself against the 32 and ate them all.
"64 Palms" Neji hit Naruto 64 times before Naruto was launched back into a tree.
Hakke Rokujūyon Shō (8 Trigrams 64 Palms)
"It's over... I knew fate decreed me to win." said Neji.
Before Riichi was going to call the fight Naruto exploded into smoke.
Neji saw multiple projectiles flying towards him at a very fast rate and they were covered with chakra of some sort increasing their speed and sharpness.
Hakkeshō Kaiten(8 Trigrams Revolving Heaven Palms)
Neji began spinning rapidly and created a barrier of chakra which deflected the projectiles aimed at him.
Neji channeled more chakra into his eyes to increase his range of sight.
"There you are!." he said as he dashed towards the trees.
"No use in hiding, nobody can hide from the Byakugan!"
Neji shot towards the closest chakra network in his vision and peppered it with Juken strikes.
The thing he peppered with Juken strikes poofed away and he began looking around trying not to get caught out of guard. He hated fighting Naruto, the Byakugan could only see the surface and above but they weren't able to see below the ground so whenever Naruto would sink into the ground he couldn't do anything to stop the blonde.
Neji felt something tapping his ankle so he spinned around and as soon as he did it he regretted it. Naruto flew out of the ground and punched him in the face right as he was trying to turn around to defend himself. He smashed through multiple trees before he was punched again. Neji flew out of the forest and back into the open fields. He stood up shakily and wiped the blood from his mouth and tried to anticipate Naruto's moves since he would be unable to see them comming. He then saw a large fire dragon come out of the forest and began heading his way. Right before the dragon was about to plow into him he began spinning to form the Kaiten.
Hakkeshō Kaiten(8 Trigrams Revolving Heaven Palms)
Although most people didn't know it, Neji's Kaiten was far from perfect. He always played it off as he mastered the technique but in all reality he only mastered it to the point where it was usable in a battle. When Hiashi would perform the Kaiten he would feel no ill effects afterwards and will easily be able to jump into a fight right after spinning. Neji on the other hand would feel slightly dizzy coming out of the Kaiten but he would play it off cool so most people don't notice. The problem was what if his opponent gave 0 fucks whether he mastered the technique or not.
While Neji's spin began to slow down and the dome of chakra around him began to dissipate a blur or black was seen at the corner of his eye before he doubled over and felt a stinging pain in his abdomen. Shortly after he felt a pain on his forehead and felt his body falling. He hit the ground and was unable to move his body.
"Winner by Knock-out Uzumaki Naruto!" yelled Riichi in the mic causing those who supported or bet for Naruto to cheer loudly.
Rock Lee and Tenten who were watching in the crowd were looking in awe as the person they felt was invincible got taken apart without too much effort.
"Wait...I'm...not ...done." said Neji as he laid on the ground.
"Can you get up?"
"Err- No."
"Then you lost."
Naruto made his way back to the waiting area and was met with congratulations.
Back in the Arena
"Oh boy, we have a treat for you guys. The next match is between Uchiha Sasuke and Sabaku no Gaara." said Riichi to the audience.
A hologram board appeared in the middle of the arena showing Sasuke and Gaara standing next to each other.
"First we have Uchiha Sasuke, he stands at 5 feet and 0 inches and is weighing in at 95lbs. According to his Jonin sensei Hatake Kakashi he would rank Sasuke a 3/5 in Ninjutsu, 2.5/5 in Taijutsu, 1.5/5 in Genjutsu, 2.5/5 in Intelligence, 2.5/5 in strength, 3/5 in speed, 2/5 in stamina, and 3/5 in hand seals. His total score is 20/40. Uchiha Sasuke is the last member of the Uchiha clan and has been hailed a genius early on and became the Rookie of the Year. For a recently graduated Genin he is quite strong and has a very promising future."
As he described Sasuke's stats it showed some recordings of his fights in the Forest of Death. They left out his fight against Orochimaru and his fight in the preliminaries since he wasn't at his best and they wanted to keep the Orochimaru thing a secret.
"Next we have the son of the Yondaime Kazekage, Sabaku no Gaara. Gaara comes from Sunagakure no Sato, according to his sensei Baki he would rank him a 4/5 in Ninjutsu, 1/5 in Taijutsu, 2.5/5 in Genjutsu, 2.5 in intelligence, 1 in strength, 2 in speed, 4 in stamina, and a 3.5 in hand seals. From his stats he seems to be a mid to long range fighter who is very weak and slow in close quarters. But his talent in ninjutsu is great and it is rumored that he has never taken a hit or a scratch from anybody."
They showed some of Gaara's fights but stopped right before he crushed them with his sand.
"Those who will bet send in your bets, who do you think will win? The Last Uchiha or the Master of the Sand."
Several Minutes Later
"Ok all the bets are in, will the challengers please come down to the arena."
Gaara walked down the stairs to the arena but was met by a gang of Kusa nin.
"Hey, kid. Why don't you let the Uchiha win and we will give you a cut of our winnings." said the tallest member of the group.
"We bet a large amount of ryo on Uchiha Sasuke against some of the ministers and Daimyos, we will give you a 10% cut if you let him win."
"Well it's either you let him win, or we will beat you right now so he will easily win. Whats your choice."
"Ha...Ha...HAHAHAHA Mother, I know this is not the person's blood that you want but why don't I give you an appetizer before your main course." Gaara said as his grourd melted in to sand.
The Kusa nin began forming hand seals but they were stopped by the sand which flew out of the ground at an amazing speed and caught their hands in it. They tried to form the seals for a Kawarimi or something but the sand's hold on their hands was too tight and they couldn't move at all. They then began to mold the chakra without using hand seals and hopefully Kawarimi out of the sand's hold in time or they would be in trouble for underestimating the kid. Their concentration was cut when the sand that wrapped around their hands decided to crush their hands. The three Kusa nin jumped back in pain with bleeding stumps for hands. They began to turn and try to run for their lives but tendrils of sand shot out and caught them by the ankles and dragged them back towards Gaara.
"NOO!" yelled the Kusa nin but they were silenced as the sand wrapped around their mouths and began covering their entire bodies.
"Sabaku Sōsō."muttered Gaara as the three Kusa nin who were covered in sand exploded in a bloody gore.
Gaara had a small smile on his face as he passed his sand over the bloodied corpses and soaked up their blood with his sand. He also replenished his sand armor with new sand so he could give the blood all to his mother.
After the small altercation Gaara used his sand to grind away the the corpses until there was no sign of any human being ever being there. After he finished destroying the evidence he went to the middle of the Arena with Riichi.
Gaara and Riichi stood there in the middle of the arena awkwardly while waiting for Sasuke to appear.
VIP Box
"Hokage-sama, there is no sign of Sasuke or Kakashi anywhere in Konoha." whispered one of the ANBU to the Sandaime's ear.
"Fuck, where are they?" Sarutobi complained.
"Hokage-dono, would it be possible to postpone this match while we wait for Uchiha Sasuke. I was looking forward to testing my son's strength versus the last Uchiha." said the mysteriously covered up Kazekage.
'Hmm, the Kazekage seems pretty mysterious why does he care so much for-. Well fuck, I guess my old student has picked up some pedophilitic desires. If he is Orochimaru then where is the Kazekage?'
Sarutobi put one of his hands behind his back and began forming ANBU codes with his hands.
'Keep an eye on the sand.' read the ANBU.
"Ah, Kazekage-dono let us reschedule the fight to be fought after the rest of the first round fights."
While Hiruzen was talking to the Kazekage he was again forming ANBU codes with his hands behind his back.
'Search for the real Kazekage. This one is Orochimaru.'
One of the ANBU in the room walked out normally as if nothing happened. He walked up to a new recruit ANBU and told him to send the message to all the hidden ANBU squads to look for the Kazekage and keep and eye on the sand.
Down in the Arena
"Um... well Uchiha Sasuke has not shown up and more than 3 minutes has passed. Uchiha Sasuke is-"
Riichi was cut off by a Shunshin of an ANBU who whispered into his ear.
"Haha, I was just uh messing with you folks. This match has been rescheduled to be the last match of this round. The money you have put into the bets will be returned to you and you may re-bet again later on."
Gaara's face showed anger before he shunshined next to his siblings.
'Uchiha will pay for making us wait mother. He will pay...'
Somewhere in Konoha
The recruit ANBU had successfully gave the message to 3 ANBU squads and was heading to the south side of Konoha to send the message to the remaining ANBU squads when he ran into a stray ANBU member.
"Hey Cat!" yelled the new recruit.
"What is it, Horse?"
"Did you hear the new orders of Hokage-sama?"
"Uh no, what is it?"
"Keep an eye on the sand and look for the-" he never got to finish his sentence as the "Cat" ANBU decapitated him.
'Good thing I was able to stop this recruit from telling the other ANBU.' thought Kabuto as he headed towards the Stadium where the Chunin exams was going to be held.
In the Stadium
"Well...our next match is between Suna no Kankuro and Aburame Shino of Konohagakure."
"WAIT! I FORFEIT!" yelled Kankuro from the waiting area.
"Well...It seems Aburame Shino has won! Oh well next we will have Suna no Temari vs Nara Shikamaru, hopefully Temari is nothing like her brother."
"Nara Shikamaru is the clan heir of Konohagakure's infamous Nara clan. Like most of his male clan members he is incredibly lazy but is also extremely intelligent. He is the son of Nara Shikaku who is currently the main strategist and Jonin commander of Konohagakure. Shikaku was famous in the Third Great Shinobi War with his strategies in the war which helped Konoha defeat their enemies with less causalities than any other village. Shikamaru has shown he has not fallen far from the tree by his use of his clans signature jutsu and defeating many enemies with a single jutsu. His sensei gave him a rating of 2.5 in Ninjutsu, 1.5 in Taijutsu, 2.5 in Genjutsu, a 5 in intelligence, 1.5 in strength, 2 in speed, 1.5 in stamina, and a 2.5 in hand seals with a grand total of 19/40."
"Suna no Temari is the daughter of the current Yondaime Kazekage and a user of a Battlefan. She has a great mastery of her weapon as she can use it to create devastating long range wind blasts or swing it around in a close range brawl. Her sensei Baki rated her a 3/5 in Ninjutsu, 2.5/5 in Taijutsu, 1.5/5 in Genjutsu, 3/5 in intelligence, 3/5 in strength, 3/5 in speed, 2 in stamina, and a 2 in hand seals giving her a grand total of 20/40. She is a very solid ninja and highly skilled in using her unique to Suna weapon. She has been hailed as a prodigy in the art of the battlefan and shows great potential for the future."
"Those who are going to bet on the fights place your bets. Who do you think will win, the Prince of the Shadows or the Wind Maiden? While we wait for the bets to go in I would like to call both of the participants down."
Temari jumped off the waiting area and used her fan to float down while Shikamaru was sleeping on the rails before a random hand pushed him off falling straight down into the arena.
The match was a fairly long one with lots of dodging and hiding from Shikamaru, he lived up to his name as the number one coward and number one at running away. After a 2 hour long match and right before the crowd was about to throw random things at the participants Shikamaru was able to snag Temari with his Kagemane but surprisingly surrendered right after with a bullshit excuse that nobody bought. Temari was not happy, she got caught because of a brilliant strategy and when her opponent surrendered, she saw it as her opponent didn't want to hit a girl so he surrendered. She was definitely going to kick that guy's ass or kill him during in the invasion if they ever ran into each other.
"The next fight will be between Ami of Konohagakure and Yamanaka Ino of Konohagakure!"
"Yamanaka Ino is the clan heir of Konohagakure's Yamanaka clan. She is the daughter of the infamous Yamanaka Inoichi who was part of the legendary Ino-Shika-Cho trio and is also one of he most feared interrogators in the Konoha's Torture and Interrogation Force. He and Morino Ibiki work together breaking peoples minds down before extracting the information they need. The Duo has been able to crack every single person they've interrogated and are feared across the Elemental Nations. Ino is in the second generation of the Legendary Ino-Shika-Cho trio and held the title of Number One Rookie Kunoichi. She stands at 4 feet and 10 inches weighing in at 95 pounds. Her sensei Sarutobi Asuma has given her the rankings of a 3/5 in Ninjutsu, 2.5/5 in Taijutsu, 2/5 in Genjutsu, 3/5 in Intelligence, 2/5 in Strength, 3/5 in speed, 2/5 in stamina, and a 2.5 in Hand seals, which totals up to 20/40. She is a very capable Kunoichi and shows great talent in her families special Ninjutsu and Ninjutsu in general."
"Ami is an orphan turned Ninja when she followed her 2 other friends from the orphanage and formed a team with them. She is on the same team as Kenji and Naruto, they have been friends since they were children and their teamwork is superb. Ami is not only very good at fighting as a team she is also capable of holding her own in a brawl. Her growing up with male friends really shows when she is in a brawl, Ami is not afraid of getting up close and personal and giving and taking strikes. Although she is kind of small she can pack a punch! Ami stands at 4 feet and 9 inches and weighs in at 90lbs. Like Naruto, her sensei forgot to give us her stats so we had to watch replays of her fights and look at the stuff she did in the forest of death to rank her. From what we have seen we will give her a 3/5 in Ninjutsu, a 2/5 in Taijutsu, 3/5 in Genjutsu, 2.5/5 in Intelligence, 2/5 in Strength, 3/5 in speed, 2/5 in stamina and 2.5 in hand seals, which totals up to 20/40. Although being an orphan and having no clan to help her become a good shinobi she worked hard and can hold her own against even the best in her generation."
"These two girls are very evenly matched, who do you think will win? Will the Yamanaka Princess win or will another member of Team 11 pull out a surprise. Place your bets now!. While people are placing their bets I would like the participants of this match to come down."
Waiting Area
Both of the girls just mentioned were glaring each other sending mental messages such as "You're gunna go down!", "Naruto-kun is mine!", and ect. Naruto broke both of the girls staring competition when he grabbed both of them and told them to go down to the arena before they got disqualified. They both jumped off the rails because they had spent a lot of time glaring at each other and they both didn't want to get disqualified.
Down in the Arena
"Hajime!"
Both girls took off and ran straight at each other. As they got close Ino slid on the ground and attempted a leg sweep. Ami jumped up not wanting to get taken down. She didn't expect Ino to push off the ground and come at her with her legs spinning in a helicopter like motion. Ami recieved a kick in the stomach and was kicked away. She landed smoothly and glared at Ino, she wasn't the only one who had been training for this.
"Neat trick, but you won't catch me with that one again." said Ami with a smirk.
Ino responded with a flurry of shuriken and kunai as she did flips sideways.
Ami dashed to the left to avoid the large amount of projectiles being thrown at her.
Ino smirked in mid air as she finished her hand seals, she had Ami where she wanted her.
Ino landed with 1 hand on the ground performing a one handed hand stand which had many in the audience looking in awe. What the audience didn't know was that she didn't land like that for style. As Ami was flying to the left a fist made of stone flew out of the ground and almost nailed her if she hadn't kawarimied with a nearby log.
The log that met the rock fist exploded violently and the two girls glared at each other through the falling debris.
Ami began forming hand seals to try her hand at ninjutsu. Ino was thinking the same thing across the field.
'Suiton: Mizurappa!'
'Doton: Doro Dangan!' (Mud Bullet)
Ami spat our a powerful stream at water but when it met the Mud bullet in mid air the Mud bullet went right through the stream and was still flying towards Ami.
The Mud bullet seemed to split in half in mid air and completely miss its target. Right in between the two halves of Ino's jutsu was Ami with her Tanto extended.
Ino slammed her foot in the ground and large column of earth covered both of her hands before receding and showing two new rock gloves covering her arms with two blades around a foot long sticking out of each glove.
Ami dashed at her opponent with her Tanto raised and slashed downwards. Her slash was blocked by the rock glove she quickly jumped back as Ino slashed at her with her other hand and almost clipped her with the blade.
Ami was a huge disadvantage, her weapon was a very short ranged weapon while Ino carried a slightly longer range weapon and had two of them. But she remembered a strategy that had been used against them before. She had a smirk on her face as she formed a few quick seals.
'Suiton: Mizu Bunshin'
10 copies of Ami rose from the ground and began surrounding and circling around Ino.
'Ugh, how will I deal with 10 of her?' thought Ino as she tried her best to keep an eye on each one of the clones.
Ami decided to test Ino's skill with her weapon as she and her clones grabbed shuriken and threw a large amount of shuriken at Ino.
Ino didn't look worried as a barrage of shuriken were flying in her direction. She wasn't worried since she had recently learned a very useful technique from some guy she was very interested in.
A few seconds before the shuriken would make contact with her she began submerging into the ground.
'Why did he have to teach her that. That bastard, only if he and I had a similar affinity.' Ami cursed.
Slowly each of her clones got dispelled due to Ino attacking them from under the ground.
Ami had not yet learned how to counter this technique, she had it used against her many times especially during spars with Naruto but that bastard was so crafty with it she gave up on countering it. Also she never thought other people would use the said jutsu against her. The few things she knew about it was while they move under the ground they move considerably slower than on land, It was possible to sense a targets position by trying to pick up on the person's chakra signature but it would be very difficult, If you catch a person while they are half in the ground it is a lot easier to hit them since they can't move horizontally until they are fully submerged. Naruto was able to use the technique with this weakness since he used shadow clones to attack from different angles which allowed the real Naruto to position himself well in the time his opponents were dealing with his clones.
Ami decided she could best capitalize on the third thing she knew about the jutsu since the second was very difficult. Ami kept looking around her hoping to see Ino before she could complete her attack.
Ami heard something behind her and quickly spun around and slashed at what ever was behind her. Her tanto blade dug into the rock clawlike weapon as she and Ino stared into each others eyes.
The two girls had a test of strength as they both pushed on their blades. After a few seconds they both separated and got into their fighting stances.
They both dashed at each other with their weapons ready. Ami made the first strike as she made a wide horizontal swipe which was blocked by Ino's rock claw. Ino immediately slashed at Ami with her free hand as soon as she successfully blocked Ami's attack. Ami jumped back and avoided most of the slash, a horizontal tear in her shirt was her reminder that if she didn't react fast enough she could have been disemboweled. Ami snarled at Ino who gave her a smirk.
Ino dashed forward with her right claw raised and attempted to land a diagonal slash which was dodged by Ami who spun to the left side dodging the claw swipe and attempted to land a hit with her tanto. Ino ducked quickly and the blade passed through the air one centimeter away from her head.
Ami had to be really careful and only counter attack because Ino could easily block her attacks with one claw and attack with the other. She was waiting for Ino to attempt a really wide swing with her weapon so she could get a chance to move in close and try to get a strike in. Her opportunity came a short while later.
Ino saw that Ami was only counter attacking and decided to give Ami a false opening. She swung wildly with her right claw and left her whole right side open for a counter attack but as Ami closed the distance her left food moved upward as she did a spinning side kick right into Ami's abdomen.
Ami was knocked back a little bit from the kick and it hurt a lot more than it should because she never saw the kick comming. Ami knew fighting a weapons only battle versus Ino would end with her losing the match so she decided to mix it up a little.
Ami jumped backwards several times until she had a fair distance between her and Ino. She quickly put her tanto back into its sheath and formed handseals for a jutsu. Ino saw this and tried to form hand seals of her own but her rock glove limited the mobility of her hands and she was unable to get started until she stopped channeling chakra into the claws to cause them to crumble into pieces.
During a large part of the fight Ino had been using chakra to maintain her weapon's shape which caused her to have less chakra in the tank compared to Ami. Ami of course didn't really know that those rock claws required chakra so she fought as if Ino was stronger than her while they were probably roughly even, or in favor of herself.
Ino tried to hurry with her seals since Ami had a few extra seconds on her and that could be enough time for Ami to land a jutsu on her. Luckily Ami's technique required more seals than the one Ino was preparing so they were able to finish at roughly the same time.
'Suiton: Mizu Taiho'(Water Cannon)
'Doton: Shōheki'(Enclosing Wall)
In front of Ami was a Cannon formed out of water, It seemed to be charging or something as the back part of the Cannon began to expand. Shortly after the Cannon fired a powerful beam of water directly at Ino who's wall came up while the cannon was charging.
When the beam of water met the earth wall the earth wall seemed to be able to withstand the water until it began to crack and the water broke through. After the water was able to break through it wasn't able to actually hit Ino since the jutsu basically ended while the wall began to break.
Ami was frustrated, she had a tough match up because her opponent had the elemental advantage on her and could counter her higher level jutsu with ones that require less chakra. She began to form hand seals for her trump card and hoped that Ino would have no answer to it.
Ino was preparing another wall to block Ami's jutsu since her walls took considerably less chakra than the jutsu Ami would need to break it but before she was going to create another wall she noticed Ami was still going though hand seals, any jutsu with that many hand seals would probably be a problem so she changed her mind and went for another wall, one that would take a larger amount of chakra but would be impenetrable to any water based jutsu.
Ami finally completed all 44 hand seals and was ready to nuke the shit out of Ino. Both girls had smirks on their face as they cast the last jutsu that would drain most of their chakra.
'Suiton: Suiryūdan'(Water Dragon Bullet)
'Doton: Doryūheki'(Earth Style Wall)
The crowd was amazed as two girls who were barely into their teens whipped out their trump cards. On one side a small girl created a large dragon made of water and the other girl created a gigantic wall of earth.
The Water Dragon roared as it charged head on into the giant earth wall. The dragon crashed into the wall with amazing force shaking the ground slightly. As the Water Dragon was trying to smash its way through the wall some mist was generated due to the water being spread in the air as they smashed into the wall.
The crowd was waiting excitedly to see the result of the clash of the last two jutsu. Those were the flashiest jutsu that anyone has ever used in the competition so far and this fight was also the most even and most exciting of all the fights today.
When the mist cleared they saw the large slab of earth still standing and watched it crumble after a little while. Both girls were still standing and they were both extremely tired.
"Heh, well I'm out of chakra. How about you?" said Ami in between pants.
"I'm in the same boat as you, it hurts to even move."
"Lets end this with one strike."
Ino nodded.
Both girls used the remaining energy and willpower to move their legs and to run at each other. Approximately 10 yards away from each other they both leapt at each other with their fists cocked back. They met in mid air with both of their heads snapped back with the power of their punches. Both bodies fell into the ground and were both face down.
Riichii walked over to each girl and checked if either of them were conscious but sadly they were both out like lights.
"This match is a draw, both of the contestants are unconscious and are unable to continue fighting!"
Those in the crowd who bet were angry since technically both sides lost so they all lost their money and the village of Konoha prospered. They couldn't complain about the fight though, it was anything but a boring fight.
Two medical team brought stretchers out to carry out both of the girls and brought them to the hospital because without a doubt they would be suffering from chakra exhaustion.
"The next match up will be Toki of Takigakure versus Kenji of Konohagakure."
"Toki of Takigakure stands at 5 feet and 3 inches and is weighing in at 115 lbs. Toki came to the chunin exams in a team his brother and teammate Jirou. After his brother's loss and Jirou's death in the hands of Uzumaki Naruto he is the last genin from Takigakure still in this competition. His team was ranked the 2nd strongest team coming into the chunin exams but due to a unfortunate run in with Uzumaki Naruto the 1st ranked genin team was wiped out. Toki unlike his brother doesn't specialize in close range combat but prefers to fight in mid to long range. His stats are 3/5 in Ninjutsu, 2/5 in Taijutsu, 3/5 in Genjutsu, 3/5 in intelligence, 2.5/5 in strength, 2.5/5 in speed, 2/5 in stamina, and 3/5 in hand seals. His total stats are 21/50, that is a very solid score."
"Kenji of Konohagakure is also another member of Team 13, before this Chunin exams they weren't very well known in Konoha except for the rookie population. According to several rookies we interviewed after the Naruto vs Neji fight we found out that Team 13 is considered the scariest team for this years Konoha rookies to face. This team passed through the radar during the academy as they all flew threw the class in the middle of the pack and nobody expected anything from them from their grades. According to the rookies, when they trained together or sparred Team 13 was like no other rookie team. The way they fought together and alone separated them from the other teams. Their teamwork rivals many of the chunin teams with their unique formations and attack strategies. Not only are they very strong in a team setting they are also very powerful duelists. After looking into their records deeper than just their grades you could see their talent. Uzumaki Naruto was said to never have lost a fight against anyone his age or rank, Ami was one of the top Kunoichi duelists and put even the boys to shame, and Kenji who was left out of team selections the year before showed the most potential in close range fighting with his brawler fight style. Most of the higher level ninjas who never looked into the team and expected the star team to be Team 7 which included Uchiha Sasuke. These dark horses went underestimated against those they fought and completely dumpstered their competition. Also Kenji was the person to took out Toki's brother from the competition. Just like the other two of Team 13 their sensei didn't give us any information about them and we had to calculate their scores from what we have seen in this competition. Kenji was given the scores of 3/5 in Taijutsu, 3/5 in Ninjutsu, never used a genjutsu so that is voided, 2/5 in intelligence, 4/5 in strength, 2.5/5 in speed, 3/5 in stamina, 2.5/5 in hand seals, that gives him a total of 20/35."
"Who will win this fight? Takigakure's Last Hope or Team 13's Bruiser. Place your bets now!"
After the crowd learned more about Team 13 and Riichii hyped them up a bit people began betting for Kenji because of the success of his other teammates and because of some of the information that just surfaced.
After all the bets were in Riichii called down the fighters in the next match and both got down to the arena pretty quickly.
"Hajime!"
"This match is perfect, I can beat the one who beat my brother and let that Uzumaki Naruto feel what its like to lose a teammate and friend." said Toki.
"Well if you are going to kill me you are going to have to beat me first, and I am not going down easy."
Toki began weaving hand seals for a subtle genjutsu since he didn't want to go Mano a Mano with a guy who beat his brother.
Toki cast a subtle disorienting jutsu to cause Kenji to think Toki was closer than he really was. Luckily Kenji and Naruto had trained with a genjutsu user and got pretty proficient at detecting and dispelling them. Kenji quickly dispelled the genjutsu but decided to act the part to surprise the cocky Taki-nin and possibly take him out then and there. Kenji swang wildly and missed badly a distance away from Toki who had a smirk on as he began to form hand seals for his most powerful water ninjutsu since he was going for the kill. Kenji saw the hand seals and began running towards Toki while still pretending by swinging randomly.
Toki had finally finished his seals and was ready to end this fool.
Suiton: Suigadan(Water Fang Bullet)
Right before the water was going to collide with Kenji he did a quick shunshin behind Toki and performed a sweep which caused Toki to fall down. Toki tried to rise but was met with a diving Kenji's fist to the face. Kenji mounted Toki and began to beat the living daylights out of Toki with a mixture of hammerfists and elbow strikes.
Toki knew he was in trouble the moment he was taken down, when a person is on the ground it gives the person who has the higher ground a huge advantage in the fight because gravity would be on their side. Toki ate each hammerfist and elbow strike and felt his consciousness begin to slip but in the corner of his eye he saw something that saved him from losing that second.
Toki performed a kawarimi with a small boulder near by. Luckily he was able to kawarimi because Kenji's next attack had some chakra in it and cracked the boulder.
Toki spit out some blood and shook off the unconsciousness that almost claimed him. He needed to watch out, this guy was no joke.
Toki began to form hand seals since Ninjutsu was his main form of combat. When Kenji saw this he threw some shuriken and kunai to try to break the hand seal sequence while he tried to close the gap between him and Toki. Toki simply dodged to the left and continued his hand seals. He never got to finish the hand seals since he felt something tightly grip both of his wrists. He looked up to see his opponent Kenji with his hair spiked up and had electricity coming off of it.
"What the f-"
He never got to finish his sentence as he received a powerful left straight to the face. Kenji kept barraging the poor guys face with a mixture of strikes for the next 30 seconds until he let go of the boys wrists and the boy fell over unconscious.
Riichii went over to check out the Taki nin to see if he was alive and if he was conscious. Luckily the beating he had received merely put the boy unconscious.
"Winner, Kenji!" Riichii announced right as the medics took away Toki to see if he was alright.
Those who made some money off of Kenji cheered.
"Alright the last fight in this round is between Gaara and Uchiha Sasuke, I already introduced them so you can commence with the betting. While they are betting I would like if the fighters would come down to the arena."
Gaara decided to skip walking down the stairs and he just shunshined next to Riichii. But there was still no sign of Uchiha Sasuke or Kakashi anywhere.
"Uh, I guess we will wait a few minutes for Uchiha Sasuke, but if he isn't here he will be disqualified."
Baki was wondering where the hell the Uchiha was, the plan was during Gaara's fight with the Uchiha the Uchiha should some how force Gaara into his crazy mode then they begin the invasion. He had hoped Gaara didn't take things into his own hands and murdered the Uchiha during the 1 month time before the third round.

Anyways I'm just going to remind you guys that I still have that poll up and it seems a very large majority of you like the time travel one. A few of you have pmed me with interest in the Hanzo one but hella people like the time travel one. Also I might be putting these chapters up a little bit slower since it takes me a while to write the fighting scenes, I try to make it as realistic as possible(Like no weird shit that shouldn't be possible for the human body) and have to re read it many times. If I write a purely non fighting chapter I could probably get that done quite fast but the thing that takes time for me are the fight scenes. Also it would be nice if you guys can tell me how I did on my first Lemon which is a seperate story on my profile.
