After witnessing Vaughn's temporary tantrum Chelsea couldn't help but chuckle. She managed to stall Vaughn long enough to get him back on schedule, even though she had to do some quick thinking to find something to say to keep his attention; he was easily attentive even when he had no idea what was going on.

After enough chuckling she got back on schedule, it was time to visit Gannon.

"Whu-huh, who's that I hear at that dang door?"

"Oh Gannon, don't be silly, you know it's me. I always come at this time to greet you."

"Chelsea! Whatcha doin here, don't ya know there's a festival goin on at ten?!"

"Oh, my deepest gratitude for the reminder. Which festival is today?" That was a lie although Chelsea never hinted at it she tried to avoid all festivals and block all thoughts of them.

Although she could care less about showing up she needed to at least keep on the good side of the villagers, unlike Vaughn who never showed up for any of them and said it was because he "just didn't feel like showin up," or Sabrina who was "too scared to come."

"Whu, ya mean ya don't remember? Why only one of the best festivals all year, the Harvest Potluck!" Chelsea was getting a hint of agitation from Gannon's response, so naturally she decided to change her attitude about what she said and resort to her plan B.

"Oh, you know I'm just pulling your leg Gannon. What kind of person would I be if I didn't remember one of our festivals? In fact, I have my freshly made milk just for this event."

The sound of shuffling entering the room and a voice bursting with excitement shouted,"Daddy! Hurry, hurry, I didn't get any last year cause you made us late. I won't forgive you if-" a little girl appeared with an innocent smile and a face that could compare to Snow White's, her casual speech halting at the sight of Chelsea, "Oh, Kelsey, have you come back for a rematch? I'm sorry you're always losing to me; I don't mean to always win." This game they were referring to was the weekly cooking matches they had to prove who was better at pleasing people(and thus better at manipulating people) and Pierre would be the referee.

Everyone has someone they dislike and Chelsea was no different. Chelsea never could stand Eliza. Eliza had the looks, the voice, and skills to manipulate, but the smarts to not be manipulated and this was upsetting for Chelsea, knowing there was someone of an equal stance living in the same place as her. People like Eliza were the unpredictable factors in this game of life, the key changer in the world Chelsea worked hard to build.

Naturally Chelsea would do her best to avoid people like her, but she couldn't afford to avoid her because if she was on Eliza's bad side she'd be on Gannon's bad side too and the steady progression of the island would cease at the hand of Gannon's opposition to build for Chelsea.

"You don't need to apologize, after all it was the referee's fault, he was too easily persuaded to see through cheap plays, don't you think?"

"Why, Kelsey, are you trying to imply I cheated? Me, a little girl, how would I have managed that?"

This was exactly the thing Chelsea hated about Eliza, every time Chelsea threw something at her Eliza always managed to throw it right back. This sort of rivalry led to the stare off Chelsea and Eliza always end up in.

Gannon, completely unaware of what they were talking about interrupted their stare off. "Are ya gonna just stand there all day or are we goin to that festival?"

Eliza immediately shifted her attention and replied, "Coming daddy,"

"You too Chelsea! Yer comin to the festival so ya might as well come with us."

"You're so kind Gannon, what would this island be without you?"

"Well I, er-" Gannon scratched the back of his head and was blushing at the comment, this was all Chelsea needed to know she did her part to keep Gannon on her side for now.

"Come on, let's go!" The whine of an excited Eliza as she tugged on the arm of her father.

Eliza's tireless effort to get her dad to finally leave worked as he followed his daughter out the door. Before he was completely out Eliza stopped and turned towards Chelsea, "and don't you think about ruining the pot with weird things," then ran off.

"Sorry bout her Chelsea, think she gets that from her ma."
