"Hello" Sparkling talk.
The next morning, Ironhide was woken up by the sound of a Sparkling screaming in pain, which was when he realised that it was Jade and cursed in Cybertronian before getting up. He tried to open his door but it wouldn't open, he snarled and kicked it before he spotted his window open and smirked to himself. He ran over to his window and climbed out of it, he ran along until he saw another open window and climbed in.
Knockout was waxing his armour and squeaked in surprised when he saw 'Hide climbing in through his window "Hey what the frag are you doing?!" he exclaimed.
"Don't mind me" Ironhide replied before he ran out.
The red mech shook his helm "The nerve of some mechs" he muttered.
Ironhide got closer to the experiment room and peered in, he almost wished he hadn't when he saw what was happening.
Jade was getting prodded with what looked like a prodder used for prodding a fire, it left burns on her body as the end of was practically glowing it was so hot, what made it worse was that she was being injected too.
'Hide growled, but had to move back when his leader looked up, he thanked Primus he had quick reflexes and looked up at a beam. He jumped up and grabbed it, he pulled himself up and stood on it just as his leader walked out, he kept quiet.
Megatron looked around, the coast was clear, so he shrugged and walked back in.
It was torture for Ironhide to hear the Sparkling crying and screaming in pain, he was scared that she would not survive, and it took a lot to scare him.
After three hours the screaming and crying stopped and Megatron and Soundwave walked out "She has not woken up yet my lord" the silver mech said.
"Not to worry Soundwave, we need her alive for more tests" the Warlord assured.
Ironhide watched them go from his perch on the beam and feared the worst, once he made sure they were gone he jumped down and went into the experiment room, at first he couldn't see her. Then he spotted her in the corner of the room with burns, cuts and bruises over her body, she wasn't moving "Oh Primus" he whispered and jogged over to her, he knelt down "Jadey? Can you hear me?"
There was no response.
'Hide bit his bottom lip to keep his emotions at bay, he should have done something sooner, but then he heard a weak noise and looked at the Sparkling "Jadey?" he asked softly.
Jade hissed a little from the pain she was in but opened her eyes and looked up at him, she smiled weakly.
Ironhide breathed a sigh of relief and picked her up gently "Oh thank Primus you're ok" he whispered softly and held her close "I should have done something sooner, but Megatron would have spotted me"
The Sparkling tweeted weakly as a way of telling him she understood.
'Hide stroked her head "Right, I'm gonna clean those cuts and get you fed, you must be starving" he said softly and walked over to the experiment table, he gently placed her on it and got out a clean cloth, he gently wiped the blood and energon from each cut.
Jade purred softly and tried to grab the cloth with her tiny hands.
Ironhide chuckled softly and finished cleaning her, he got her rag that had been thrown into a corner and put it on her gently "There, now let's get you some energon" he said softly and picked her up gently, he held her close to him protectively knowing he would need to be careful so he wasn't spotted.
The Sparkling snuggled into him and tucked her head under his chin, even though she had only known him for two days, already she felt safe with him and was starting to see him as a father figure.
'Hide sneaked out of the experiment room, he almost found it hard to believe that a Sparkling would trust him so much, he had never been a father nor did he know he had a fatherly side until the little Sparkling came along. He sneaked into the kitchen and looked around for a Sparkling bottle, surprisingly he found one and he washed it out before putting low-grade energon in it, then he filled a cube of energon for himself and headed back to the experiment. When he arrived he placed his cube on the experiment table and gently held the bottle to Jade's mouth "Drink up Jadey" he whispered softly and gently put the end in her mouth.
The Sparkling purred as she drank her energon, it felt nice as she had not had any energon since she first arrived.
Ironhide cradled her as he fed her.
When Jade finished her energon she burped and giggled.
'Hide smiled and got his own energon, he drank it and put it back on the experiment table when he had finished.
The Sparkling tweeted and snuggled into him "Dad" she chirped as her dark blue Spark glowed brighter.
When a Cybertronian felt loved their Sparks would glow brighter, though with a full Cybertronian the only way one could tell was if their chest plates felt warmer.
Ironhide smiled softly and held her warmly, he knew that things were going to change for both of them as he had a reponsibility now, and that was taking care of his daughter.
