"Hello" Cybertronian/Magic talking.
"Hello" Human talking.
The opportunity finally came a year later, and it was one tough year for both Ironhide and Jade, she was now three years old but the experiments had been worse than before. And she almost didn't survive one of the experiments which had scared her father, and she would be the first to say that she had never saw her father look so shook up, granted he had hid it from everyone else. But when they were alone, that was when she saw how much it had scared him, and she didn't want to see him like that again.
One night Jade was sat in her cage looking at her bruises, they were still healing from the experiment earlier today, it wasn't as bad but still.
Ironhide sneaked down to the experiment room after making sure everyone on base was asleep, this was it, the time had come to help his daughter escape. The experiment that almost killed his daughter was the last straw for him, he quietly opened the door.
The three year old looked up and smiled when she saw her father "Daddy!" she said and tweeted.
'Hide smiled a little and knelt down, he opened her cage "Hello Jadey" he replied softly.
Jade crawled out her cage and got to her feet, she looked up at her father and tilted her head "Daddy? Are you ok?" she asked.
Ironhide sighed quietly "Jadey I need to talk to you" he replied softly.
The three year old frowned a little but nodded.
"Ok, well remember when I said to you last night that today was going to be a new day and that things would be better?" 'Hide asked softly.
Jade nodded.
Ironhide took a deep breath "I meant it" he replied softly and held his daughter's hands "Jadey these experiments are getting worse, and you almost died from an experiment"
The three year old beeped and nodded.
"And it scared me, it takes a lot to scare me and that scared me" 'Hide whispered and looked down for a moment, then he looked at his daughter again "Jadey I want you to do something for me, I want you to run, get out of here and just run as fast and as far as you can"
Jade tugged her father's hand gently "Then let's go daddy, both of us" she replied.
Ironhide shook his helm "I can't go with you, I have to stay" he replied softly.
"W-What? But...why?" the three year old asked and sniffed.
"I have to, but listen to me Jadey, I've always wanted what's best for you" 'Hide replied softly "and right now I fear for your life, last time was a close call, and I'm not taking that chance again"
Jade sniffed, but she knew he was right.
"Everyone is asleep, you have the chance to get out of here, you've said that you want to do something for me to thank me for looking after you whilst you have been here...well now that time has come" Ironhide said softly "I want you to get out of here, don't look back, just keep running"
The three year old sniffed and nodded, she beeped "W-Will I see you again daddy?" she asked.
"Of course you will, and that's a promise, I will always be your daddy no matter what" 'Hide whispered softly and went into his subspace, he got out two items: A soft white woolly rabbit, and a black coat "here, this is a coat that will keep you warm and shelter you from the rain, and this is a cuddly toy so you will remember me"
Jade sniffed and nodded, her father put her coat on and fastened it up, he put her hood on and gave her the cuddly toy. She held it close to her chest and looked up at her father, she hugged him "I love you daddy" she whispered.
Ironhide hugged her warmly as he held back his emotions "I love you too Jadey" he whispered softly and kissed her head "I want you to promise me something"
"Sure daddy, anything" the three year old whispered and sniffed, she snuggled into him.
"Be brave" 'Hide whispered softly and held her closer to him, he didn't want to let her go, but he knew he had to do this.
Jade sniffed and nodded "I will daddy, I promise" she whispered.
Ironhide nodded and lifted her into his arms, he walked towards the exit and opened the door, it was raining heavily "Good girl" he whispered softly and kissed her head, he gently put her down.
The three year old looked at the path that led away from the labs, which would lead to a new life.
"Go on Jadey, that path is the way to a better life, a happier life" 'Hide said softly.
Jade nodded and hugged her father one more time.
Ironhide hugged her warmly and kissed her head "Now run, run as fast as you can and don't look back" he said softly and they ended their hug.
The three year old nodded and took a deep breath, then she sprinted as fast as she could away from the labs.
'Hide watched her run "Run like the wind Jadey, my precious Sparkling" he whispered softly before walking inside.
Jade ran for hours and was cold and achy, but one thing she had was determination, and that was what was keeping her going. She continued her run through the heavy rain for another hour before she had to stop and looked around as she panted, she saw she was in a forest, she was lost and had no idea where she was. She held her cuddly toy close to her chest and huddled under a tree, she started to cry as she was scared, lost, cold and alone.
Rebecca was seven years old and lived by herself in a flat, her parents died from an illness when she was just five years old, but they had left her money so she was able to look after herself despite having Autism. She walked through the forest and looked around, she was wearing a long black coat that came to her knees and under her hood she had blonde hair that came to her shoulders, her eye colour was blue and she had a scar-shaped birthmark that ran through her right eye. Under her coat she wore a blue jacket and a pair of black track suit bottoms, her trainers were black with blue laces, as she walked she heard the sound of a child crying making her stop. She looked around and followed the sound, what she saw made her heart almost break.
Sitting under the tree was a little girl who looked around three years old, she had mixed race skin and her hair colour was black that was dip-dyed purple at the ends, all she seemed to be wearing was a black coat that came to her knees.
The seven year old couldn't leave her out here in the rain and walked slowly over to her.
Jade heard someone approaching and looked up, she saw a girl who looked four years older than her and got to her feet, she backed up a little.
Rebecca stopped where she was, at a closer look she could see the scars on the girl's legs and her eye colour was brown "Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you" she said quietly.
The three year old looked up at her and could see she was telling the truth, she stepped forwards a little "H-Hello" she greeted quietly.
The seven year old smiled a little "What's your name?" she asked quietly.
Jade thought a moment, the Decepticons called her Hybrid, but her father had told her that her name was Jade "Jade" she replied quietly.
Rebecca smiled and nodded "Nice name" she replied.
The three year old smiled as well "Yours is nice too" she replied.
The seven year old smiled "Thanks" she replied "do you want to come back with me?"
Jade saw a sense of trust in her, the only other person she saw that with was her father, she nodded "Ok" she replied and held out her hand.
Rebecca smiled and held her hand "Let's go" she replied and they walked back to the flat.
The three year old knew that this was the start of a better life after a rough start, but she would never forget what her father had done for her and hoped to see him again.
The next morning at the Decepticon base Ironhide was on his way to the throne room, he saw his leader walking towards the experiment room and hid a smirk "She's away from you now" he whispered quietly and walked into the throne room, he heard an enraged roar from his leader and smirked.
Megatron stormed in growling "Where is Hybrid?!" he snarled.
'Hide shrugged, he wasn't fazed at his leader's anger as he was used to it, well he wasn't scared of it to begin with "Dunno" he replied.
"Well she's not here, did you help her escape?" the Warlord sneered as he stalked closer to him.
"Even if I did, why would I tell you?" Ironhide asked.
"Two reasons" Megatron sneered and held up one claw "one, I am your leader" he held up a second claw "and two, we needed her!"
'Hide growled "Oh really?! Let me ask you something, what 'benefits' have we had since Jade was brought here at four days old?!" he snarled.
"We were close to one last week" the Warlord replied.
"That was not a benefit! You hurt her so badly she couldn't be touched and she almost died!" Ironhide snarled and pointed a finger at his leader "admit it Megatron you just wanted Jade for your sick desires!"
"I told you when Hybrid was first brought here, she's special and we need her!" Megatron snarled.
"So you can hurt her again?!" 'Hide snarled.
The Warlord growled "And I thought you were loyal and always stood by me" he sneered.
"Not when Sparklings are harmed!" Ironhide snarled and got into his leader's face "if you really want to know, I did help Jade escape! She deserves a better and happier life, AWAY FROM YOU!" and with that he stormed out leaving a speechless Megatron behind.
