The next morning Jade woke up from a long sleep, she yawned and stretched. She looked at her father who was recharging, she smiled and crawled onto his berth. It didn't faze her that her father was in his bipedal mode, she climbed onto his big pillow and sat on her butt in front of his face. She gently tapped his nose.

Ironhide's nose twitched a little and he grunted sleepily as he lazily rubbed his nose.

The one year old giggled a little and gently tapped it again, she tweeted.

'Hide's nose twitched a little and he yawned as he came out of recharge, he heard a happy chirp and looked beside him. He smiled when he saw his daughter sitting on his pillow smiling "Hello Jadey" he said softly.

Jade chirped happily and hugged her father's nose "Daddy!" she replied.

Ironhide chuckled softly and gently picked her up in his hand.

The one year old cuddled his thumb and tweeted.

'Hide smiled and got out his berth, he gently placed his daughter on the ground and changed to his bipedal holoform. He gently picked up his daughter "Let's get some energon" he said softly.

Jade smiled and snuggled up to him.

Ironhide smiled and walked out his and Ratchet's quarters, he walked into the kitchen and gently placed his daughter in the high chair.

The one year swung her legs a bit.

'Hide smiled and got an energon bottle from the cabinet, he walked over to the energon dispenser and filled it with low grade energon. Once the bottle was full he put the lid on and made sure it was on tight, he walked over to his daughter and knelt down beside her "Here Jadey" he said softly and gave her her bottle.

Jade smiled and took it, she started to drink it purring in content.

Ironhide smiled and gently stroked her hair.

The one year old purred more, when she finished her energon she burped and giggled.

'Hide chuckled and took the bottle off her, he put it on the worktop "Shall we go outside Jadey?" he asked softly.

Jade tweeted and nodded.

Ironhide smiled and gently picked her up, he walked out the kitchen to the garden. It was a nice day.

The one year old looked around curiously.

'Hide smiled and sat down against the oak tree, he placed his daughter on his lap and put his arms round her.

Jade purred and snuggled up to him, then a purple butterfly flew over and landed on her nose. She crossed her eyes and tilted her head.

Ironhide smiled "That's a butterfly Jadey" he said softly, then he saw a black butterfly fly over and land on his nose. He looked at it and chuckled a little.

The one year old giggled a little "Butterfly on daddy's nose" she said.

'Hide smiled and the two butterflies flew away "Want to walk around?" he asked softly.

Jade smiled and nodded and her father gently placed her on the grass, she got to her feet and started to walk around the garden looking at the beautiful garden.

Ironhide crossed his arms as he watched her, he was more protective of her now that they were outside.

The one year old saw a purple rose and tilted her head, she went onto her knees and had a closer look at it.

'Hide noticed she was looking at a rose, he knew they had thorns on the stem and his daughter was deadly allergic to thorns. He got up and walked over to her "What you found Jadey?" he asked softly and knelt down beside her.

Jade pointed to the rose "What is it?" she asked.

"That's a rose" Ironhide replied softly "it's one of the many flowers on this planet, just don't touch the stem"

"The stem?" the one year old asked.

"Yeah this" 'Hide replied softly and pointed to the stem "it's got thorns on it and you're allergic to thorns"

Jade nodded and slowly brushed her fingers along the petals instead, she smiled and yawned. The warm weather was making her sleepy.

Ironhide smiled and got up, he gently picked up his daughter "Let's take you to bed for a nap" he said softly.

The one year old smiled and snuggled up to him.

'Hide smiled and walked inside, when he walked into his quarters he gently placed his daughter in her cot and tucked her in.

Jade purred and yawned.

Ironhide gently stroked her cheek.

The one year old purred and fell asleep.

'Hide smiled and looked under his berth, he took out his drawing pad that he drew in, most of his drawings were from memories both good and bad. He opened it to a clean page and got his pencil and colouring pencils, he started to draw his daughter with a purple butterfly on her nose.

Half an hour he finished his drawing, he smiled and closed his drawing pad. He put it under his berth again and looked at his daughter who was fast asleep, then he felt a pair of arms snake round his midsection and looked over his shoulder. He smiled when he saw his Bondmate.

Ratchet smiled and gave him his energon "You've not had any yet" he whispered.

Ironhide smiled and took it "Thanks Ratch" he whispered softly and took a swig of his energon.

The Medic smiled and rested his head beside his 'Mate's "She looks so content with you" he whispered.

'Hide smiled and nodded "When she was one I was the only one she trusted" he whispered softly, he didn't mention why and the fact that he had raised her in the labs.

Ratchet smiled and kissed his Bondmate's neck.

Ironhide purred softly and kissed his 'Mate's cheek.

The Medic smiled and sat on his Bondmate's lap, he snuggled up to him.

'Hide smiled and cuddled him as they looked out the window at the clear skies.
