Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Wolf or its characters
These drabbles can be read chronologically or not. Dealer's choice. I'm writing them in a progression style but they all pretty much stand alone.
A/N: Sorry for the supppper long delay. But I'm back now so hopefully more stable updates. :)
Stiles's ability to use other people's things for his own ideas was damn near uncanny. Derek was sure that much like himself Lydia had no idea that she had leant the pack her pool and backyard for a pool party until it was there. But, here they all were, all lounging in and around the pool with more junk food and pool toys than a group of young adults should have.
The Alpha had to admit this wasn't the worst idea he had had. It was with the best of intention, a last 'Pack bounding event' (Stiles still hadn't taken to heart Derek's speech on not using words he didn't understand) before they all went their separate ways for school, and despite the underlying sadness of the event everyone was having a blast.
"What are you doing?"
Derek looked up from his book, sunglasses glaring in the sun, as his Beta padded over to him on wet feet. "Reading."
"Yeah, I can see that," Isaac told him, pushing his wet curls out of his face and making his already impossibly long torso and body look even longer. He then sat on the edge of Derek's lounge chair, his wet board shorts damping the Alpha's towel, "but you do that all the time at home. Come swim with me."
"I don't want to."
"Pleeease?"
"Don't beg."
"I thought you liked it when I begged."
Derek choked on his own breath when Isaac said that to him. He looked up from his book, glaring at him, and pretending the flush in his cheeks was from the sun. "Fineā¦" He growled and sat the book down.
Isaac beamed, excited to win, and Derek smiled a little at his lover. He pulled off his T-shirt to a rowsing chorus of cat-calls. "Lookin' good Derek!" Erica cried while Stiles whistled.
Derek was going to laugh or scold them, but looked back over his shoulder when he heard a low rumble of growling, "you jealous?"
Isaac looked up, eyes snapping back to blue, and he huffed. "Tsk! No." He replied, rubbing the back of his neck.
The Alpha arched a brow and pulled Isaac into his arms when he tried to pass. "You know I don't want anyone but you right?" He said quietly in her ear and felt the tension spill out of the Beta's shoulders. He smiled.
Derek then smiled himself and slowly tipped the two of them back until they made a loud 'splash!' into the pool. Isaac came up what a gasp and cough of water. Derek laughed and everyone joined in. The pack spent the rest of the day and most of the night pool. By the time the moon was about to set Isaac had nodded off beside Derek while the rest of the pack chatted and gabbed around the fire pit, worn out from all the sun and swimming. He was going to miss this.
