Ashlee visited her dorms, the red wallpaper with gold lining. Her mind marveled at how pretty it is. "Miss? Do you enjoy the view?" She yelped and whipped out her wand At the direction of the voice. "Woah. Don't need to be defensive little lady."

She looked at the portrait. "Y-You're...Godric Gryfindor! The founder of the Gryffindor house! The house of bravery,chilvery, Nerve,Courage and daringness!" She suddenly blushed, "S-Sorry...Did I talked too much?"

Godric gave out a hearty chuckle, "Are you Hermione Granger's daughter?" I looked at my shoes, "Adoptive daughter... What's your name sweetheart? " I looked up at him, "A-Ashlee Winters...Sir..."She said, letting her shy side crept over her.

Godric gave her a wrinkled old smile, "I reckon it's time for your first potions lesson." Ashlee's eyes widened, "Oh yes! Good bye sir!" Godric gave a curt nod before Ashlee dashed out with her potions text book and cauldron.

At the potions Classroom.

Ashlee rushed into the classroom, she sighed when she is only 5 minutes early. She set down at a seat and prepared her stuff.

A few minutes later, the students came in. She was sandwiched between Albus and Rose. Albus was sweaty along with Rose. Ashlee wrinkles her nose, "Merlin's Beard! What have you been doing?"

Albus smiled, "Rosie and I have been watching the Gryffindor Quidditch team having practice. I was hopping for Seeker while Rosie here wants to be a beater, like Aunt Ginny."

Rose nodded, "Yeah! Aunt Ginny told me all those cool stories about how she and Uncle Harry destroyed the Slytherin team when they were in school." She then had a dreamy look, "Although, seeing Scorpius Malfoy all sweaty will make him even more handsome."

Albus and Ashlee both exchanged disgusted looks, "Merlin! Rosie you're only eleven! Malfoy don't even look good!" Albus said while scrunching up his face. Rose shrugs, "Eh...A girl can dream. Oh yeah, Ashlee, are you going to try to get into the Quidditch team next year?"

Ashlee shook her head, "Nope, I hate flying." Rose chuckled, "Too much like mum. " "That's a good thing, at least she didn't catch Weaselbee's attitude. " A lazy voice drawled, the best friends looked to the right.

Scorpius Malfoy smirked at his comment, "Unlike Red hair here, she is actually smart." Albus growled, "Go away Malfoy." Scorpius chuckled, "Make me, Potter." He said, daringly. Albus got up and was about to whip out his wand when Slughorn came in.

"Oh me oh my? Is this a fight I see?" Albus and Scorpius never took their eyes away from each other. "Come now. We wouldn't want to have a fight at the first day of tw school year." Albus glared at Scorpius for a moment before sitting down.

Scorpius chuckled, "Chicken. Bye Ashlee." He winked at her before sitting down. Ashlee blushed, Albus saw her face. "Oh come on Ashlee! Don't turn into Rosie! Scorpius is nothing more than a slimy Slytherin!"

Ashlee rolled her eyes, she concentrated on Slughorn. "Now what would you have to put inside the forgetfulness potion?" Ashlee immediately felt her hand raised up. "Yes Miss..." "Winters, sir."

Scorpius snorted, Albus glared at Scorpius. Rose sighed, dreamily. Slughorn smiled, "Mias Winters, would you kindly answer the question?" Ashlee nodded before saying. "You need 4 Mistletoe berries, 2 drops of Lethe River Water and 2 Valerian Sprigs."

Slughorn eyed Ashlee for a while, " What did you say your name was? " Ashlee answered sheepishly, "A-Ashlee Winters..." Rose's big mouth said, "She's my adoptive sister."

Ashlee mentally groaned, Hermione had recently met Pavarti Patil. Parvati had said that she had gotten married to Cormac McLaggen and had given birth to a gorgeous baby girl named Tiffany.

So whenever Parvati or Cormac was busy and since Padma was off on Egypt assisting Charlie Weasely with his dragons, she would dump Tiffany here and Rose had hitched it off with her.

Ashlee personaly foud that Tiffany McLaggen was too annoying and perky for her own good.

Slughorn glanced at Rose, "And what may your name be? " Rose responded, "Rose Weasely." Slughorn raised an eyebrow, "Hermione and Ronald Weasely?" Rose nodded, "Ashlee got adopted too!"

Ashlee sighed, Slughorn smiled. "That would explains your thirst for knowledge, Miss Winters." Ashlee blushed, "T-Thank you, Sir?" Slughorn nodded, "What Miss Winters said was correct! Now you have to carefully put on 2 drops or the potion will go poor and..."

Ashlee sat down and put her head in her hands to hide her embarassment. "Nice going, Rosie." Albus said while rolling her eyes. Rose suddenly noticed her mistake, "Oh...I'm so sorry Ashlee. Tiffany has been rubbing off on me. I forgotten about yor shyness."

Ashlee nodded and let out a muffled, "It's okay." Ashlee it out of her hands and began writing notes.

Meanwhile, a platinum-hairs boy was looking at Ashlee Winters worriedly.

Meanwhile, after potions.

Ashlee hurried to the common room to get her textbook. Her wand laid sprawled somewhere, "Ah! My textbook!" She was going to go to her Defence against the Dark Arts when she found her wand gone.

"Where's my wand! Ahh! Aunt Hermione is going to kill me!" She suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder. "Wha-" She turned around and saw Scorpius Malfoy with her wand. "What the...Malfoy!Give me back my wand!"

Scorpius just chuckled, "No can do, Winters. Besides, your wand is nice to hold. " Ashlee frowned, "Seriously? Look, just give me back my wand..." She tried to grab it but Scorpius was a head taller than her.

Scorpius moved it out of her reach, "You can't reach it! You can't reach it! You can't reach it!" Suddenly the wand was out of Scorpius's hand. "Malfoy, what are you doing in the Gryffindor Common room?"

Both of them looked at the doorway, "James!" James Sirius Potter stood there holding his wand and Ashlee's wand. "Get out, Malfoy." James glared at Scorpius, Scorpius glared back. And exited the common room.

"Are you okay Ash?" Ashlee nodded, "I have to go now." She took her wand from James and proceeded the the Defence against the dark arts classroom.

At the classroom

Ashlee sighed as she stood sandwiched between Albus and Rose. James clearly told Albus and Rose as as Rose was having a worried look while Albus was sporting an angry look.

"Now that we finished with introduction, I will show you how to cast a Knockback Jinx." Professor Padma Patil said. She casted a dummy in the middle of the platform and shouted, "Flipendo!"

The dummy flew back and hit the wall with a big thud, Professor Patil scanned the room. "Now, can I have two students demonstrate this spell...Mr Potter?" The Indian teacher eyes widened for a while but recovered herself. "And...Mr Malfoy?"

Albus and Scorpius stood up and walked to the platform. The Gryffindor hOuse sniggered at Scorpius, First day and he already had the whole house against him... Ashlee thought, "No curses and only, and I repeat, only the Knockback Jinx. Wands ready. And begin!"

Albus growled, You will never touch Ashlee! Scorpius glared at the boy, I'm going to get revenge. The duo went quiet for a while before Scorpius shouted, "Flipendo!" Albus flipped back and landed on the floor.

"Albus!" Ashlee shouted in worry. Albus groand before standing up, his jet black hair tuffled from the fall. His face grew into a frown as he shouted, "Flipendo!" Scorpius did the same thing as Albus.

Ashlee sighed, "Stop it!" Professor Patil casted a charm to seperate them. "Mr Potter and Mr Malfoy! I would give you detention if this wasn't the first day! Now get off the platform!"

Scorpius and Albus glated at each other before stepping out of the platform. Ashlee thwacked Albus, "Albus! What were you doing? " Albus glanced at Ashlee before softening, "He made fun of us. I can't allow that."

Ashlee frowned, "You and your hero personality. Oh we'll, you wouldn't be Harry Potter's son if I hadn't have that." Albus chuckled, "You wouldn't be Hermione Weasely's adoptive daughter if you hadn't hit me."

Ashlee broke out into a grin, "Yeah."

Scorpius looks enviously of Albus, why? Envious tht he spent 7-8 years of his life knowing Ashlee while he only knew her for only 5 hours and he spent most of his time squabbling with her best friends.

Later after lessons

Ashlee sighed when she finished taking a shower. She loved Hogwarts, ever since her adoptive Parents Told her about it. She laid in her bed, she smiled when she found new friends.

She frowned when she thought of Scorpius, he was so nice this morning now he...is totally different.

She sighed and closed her eyes, slowly, she drift into slumber.

Whelp. I'm done with this chapter XD I was wondering if this was a bit too short. Scorpius is acting different...I wonder why? Well its me to think and you to find out. So R&R
