Fast forward now. It's later.

And RyRy's waking up!

Some amount of time later, dinner was done.

And yes, Marik was going to give Bakura 'it'.

He walked to the hallway to let Bakura know that dinner was ready. He noticed that the Portal had turned off again, so he turned it back on. Then he entered the hallway.

But just before he walked out of sight, he saw Ryou stir.

He stopped to watch and see if Ryou was waking up.

He slowly opened his eyes.

Somehow, he felt even more tired despite the fact that he had just been sleeping.

Wait...what?

But the last thing I remember was playing Skylanders... Ryou thought sleepily.

He opened his eyes more. He easily realized that he wasn't on the floor anymore, and he was lying down. Someone had probably moved him while he slept.

Just as Ryou was about to try to sit up and wake up further, he realized that he felt something. Somethings. All over his body. On his forehead, on his hand, on his arms, on his legs...

He looked down.

Then, Ryou saw that there were ropes on top of him. And a Skylander on his chest. Chop-Chop was staring at him.

He looked at his hand, and noticed a Skylander on it. There was Dino-Rang in the palm of his hand.

He looked up. He could just barely see the head of yet another Skylander. Flameslinger was on his forehead!

Then Ryou looked to the side, taking care to not move too much so that Flameslinger wouldn't fall off his forehead. There, he saw several Skylanders lined up next to him, each one near the end of a rope that was tucked underneath him. All of them—Stump Smash, Slam Bam, Wham-Shell, Lightning Rod, Wrecking Ball, Drill Sergeant, Terrafin, Bash, Prism Break—were facing him.

Ryou looked to the other side. On the head of the couch, each with the end of a rope next to them, were even more Skylanders. Cynder, Sonic Boom, Whirlwind, Sunburn, Spyro, Camo, Drobot...

He turned his head a little bit more, to the other side. He saw two pillows propped up against the couch. Voodood and Ghost Roaster were on one, Double Trouble was on the other.

There were even more Skylanders standing around those two pillows, looking up at him! There was Gill Grunt, Zap, Boomer, Trigger Hapy, Ignitor, Warnado...

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Stealth Elf next to the Wii remote, and Zook next to the nunchuck. It looked like Stealth Elf was pressing the pause button. And the game was paused!

He saw another Skylander next to the Portal of Power. Hex. She was leaned against it in such a way that her outstretched hand, the one holding the skull, was right next to the power button.

Ryou then saw one final Skylander. On top of the papers he had been writing on. Chill. She was looking at what he had written on it.

Ryou's eyes widened. He was now fully awake.

And he was freaking out.

Ryou looked up at the ceiling with a panicked and freaked out look on his face and shouted at the top of his lungs, "MARIK! YAMI! COME QUICK HELP ME SOMETHING HAPPENED!"

Ryou heard a door opening and two sets of footsteps approaching. He was still staring at the ceiling, so he couldn't see them. But he did see his yami's poofy and fluffy white hair and Marik's not-as-crazy blond hair out of the corner of his eyes.

"WHAT?! What is it?! What's going on?!" he heard Bakura ask in a frantic and annoyed voice.

Ryou turned his eyes as much as possible to look at them. His yami's face was incredulous and confused. Marik's face was surprised and...it looked like Marik was trying not to laugh

"Look! It happened!" Ryou cried gleefully, although his face was still freaked out. "Look! They came to life! My Skylanders! I knew it would happen one day! I must have fallen asleep on the floor while playing, so Stealth Elf paused the game for me and the other Skylanders helped to bring me up on the couch while I slept! See?!"

Marik and Bakura stared at him for a few seconds. Then Marik burst out laughing. A moment later, Bakura did as well.

Ryou frowned. "What's so bloody funny?!" he asked them.

It took a minute for them to control their laughter enough to respond. "Do you seriously think that they came to life and carried you up there?!" Bakura asked him.

"Yes! Yes I bloody do! Got a problem with that, Yami?"

"No. I have a problem with having a stupid hikari. They obviously did not come to life and do whatever the hell you think they did."

"Oh yeah?!" Ryou challenged. "Then how do you explain the ropes and their positions?! I certainly didn't put them like that! I was sleeping! And no way I was able to tie myself up like this. Especially not while sleeping! And I wouldn't have had enough mind to pause the game."

Bakura looked at Marik, who gave him a knowing look then nodded. Bakura looked back at Ryou and folded his arms. "Okay then. How do you explain the fact that Chill is here, and I know that Chill should still be on the shelf because she doesn't work with the game you have?"

Ryou thought about that for a moment. "I got it!" he said. "Help me get up and I'll show you." Bakura walked over to him... "But be careful with them—"

Bakura simply shoved all the Skylanders on the couch aside, knocking them to the floor, brushed off the three on Ryou's chest head chest and hand, also knocking them to the floor, and smacked away all of the Skylanders on the head of the couch, again knocking them all to the floor.

"Hey!" Ryou cried angrily. "Watch it! You're hurting them!"

Bakura didn't care. He simply picked up Ryou and set him on his feet on the floor. In doing so, the lengths of rope fell off his body and...guess where! TO THE FLOOR! "Total bullshit, Ryou," he said. "They're not alive. They're plastic figurines. Or whatever material they're made out of."

Ryou stormed off to his room, saying, "That's what everyone says about out paper trading cards but they have heart and they can come to life! So shut up!"

Marik and Bakura exchanged glances, then followed. Marik was still snickering behind his hand.

When they entered Ryou's room, they found him next to his Skylanders shelf, pointing at a rope that was tied to a metal container on the shelf and went all the way down to the floor. "This! This is how Chill got down. And the door was open just enough for her to get out."

Bakura smirked deviously. "And how do you think they got the rope?" he asked Ryou. "I'm pretty sure the door to Marik's room was closed."

"How would you know that?!" Ryou cried. "You were in your room as well! Before Marik left the hallway. For all we know, Marik could have left his door open and the Skylanders snuck in behind Marik's back."

Bakura looked at Marik questioningly. "Marik, where did you keep the rope after we freed Ryou from it?"

Marik was still snickering. "On the floor in a pile by the door."

Ryou looked at his yami triumphantly. "See? They did it!" he started jumping up and down excitedly. "They really really really did come to life! I just know it! This is amazing!"

Marik burst out laughing and Bakura started snickering.

Ryou's smile faded a bit. "What the buffering hell is so bloody funny?!" he shouted, looking back and forth between the two thieves.

Marik laughed once more before composing himself and speaking. "Later," he said. "After dinner. Which is ready."

Bakura instantly stopped laughing and looked at Marik. "What?! Why didn't you tell me?!"

"Was going to," Marik said, "but then your former host-guy interrupted."

"Well then what are we waiting for?!" Bakura shouted. He ran out of Ryou's room.

Marik shrugged and followed.

Ryou grinned. He followed them out. But before following them to the kitchen, he picked up all of the Skylanders that Bakura had knocked to the floor and set them upright on the couch or floor.

Then he followed Marik and Bakura into the kitchen.

By the way, there is NO reason to panic. NONE! Because it's not like I don't have next chapter written out already or anything like that.
And it's not like I have the chapter several chapters from now planned out, and I'm trying to think of how the frig I'm going to connect them.
So don't worry. Because that is DEFINITELY not the case.
