Hey guys, back with more! So, this will actually be the second to last chapter of the story. The last chapter will be rather short. So I might make this one longer than the others. But, this'll be the last chapter. It's not as long as the other one, I know. But I've written a bit more in each chapter than I first thought I would. And I don't know how to extend it. However, that'll just have to do. So let's get this under way!

Thanks a lot for the reviews!

Disclaimer: I don't own InuYasha or Nurarihyon no Mago

The End

Jess was running slowly through the woods, trying to locate where Sesshomaru was. She had already lost Shoei's presence, so she thought he had either died or went back to his own time. She didn't really care either way. She still had the gem that Flarenix told her to get, making sure it was well hidden.

"Hey, wouldn't Demons be able to sense its power now that I've got it with me?" she asked, Flarenix shaking her head.

"No, it's similar to the Jewel Shards in that regard. No one other than Kagome and Naraku an actually sense it, let alone see it. So you should be fine. And I'm guessing you're going tell Sesshomaru about it, though," she said, Jess nodding as she stepped on a twig and made her way through the narrow paths of trees.

After about a minute, she saw what she thought was Sesshomaru's tail, speeding up her speed a bit as she saw him walking slowly.

"Sesshomaru," she said quietly, but loud enough to catch his attention. He looked back quickly noticing the glow form the gem that hung on her belt.

"What is that you have there?" he asked, Jess pulling it out and showing it to him."I don't recall seeing a gem like that. How did you come across it?"

"…I can't say. Since then I'll be telling you about the sword," she said, looking a little upset. Most likely with herself since she can't tell him something. He said it was fine, and instead asked what it was. "Apparently, it's a gem that a Demon from long ago had. It's supposed to have similar powers to the Scared Jewel," she explained, putting it back where she had it. "What happened to Shoei?"

"He went back with Rikuo, and I also told him to send Jaken and Rin back. As well as checking if anyone else from this era is over there. Since that crack in time is going to be blocked sooner or later. And we're the ones who's going to help speed up that process," he explained, Jess looking at him as he asked if she had any leads. She recalled the small, blue stone she found and pulled it out.

"I found this in that village I went to check out, and it seems that village was being controlled by a Demon sort of. And there were still people walking around like lifeless puppets. Maybe because they were dead," she explained, holding it on her palm. Sesshomaru expected it, not recognizing it.

"Maybe those old fools now anything about this. Although I'd rather not bother with them right now," he said, Jess knowing who he was referring to.

"Should I go and figure out," she asked, Sesshomaru shaking his head. He told her he had another task for her, making her a little confused as he told her what to do.

Rikuo and the rest arrived at the main House, seeing Rin and Jaken playing around in the garden.

"About time you got back! Where is Lord Sesshomaru?" the imp asked, Rikuo telling him what Sesshomaru had told him to do. Jaken looked almost pleased, Rin joining them

"So, we have to go back now? Oh well, I had a lot of fun while I was here," she said, smiling. Rikuo smiled back as Kubinashi told them he would lead them back to their own time. Rin nodded as she followed him, Jaken doing the same without saying another word.

"Young Master, should we make sure no one else form that time is here?" Tsurara asked, Rikuo looking at her and nodded.

"Yeah, and we might as well check if there's anything we can do to help form this side," he said, the two of them leaving instantly to look around.

While walking around Ukiyoe Town, they found some small Demons from other clans toying around with people, getting rid of them quickly so they wouldn't cause any trouble for those around them.

"Young Master, what do you think will happen if that crack doesn't close?" Tsurara asked, Rikuo looking at her and thinking.

"I don't know. And to be perfectly honest, I'm not too eager to figure out. All I know is that the era they live in is 5 hundred years in the past, which can make it hard if people accidently stumble into that era and don't think about what it really is," he said, Tsurara nodding. Young Master really thinks of everyone before himself. He doesn't even think of the dangers that could endanger him. She thought, looking around for anything that could've been from the other era.

After taking a thorough look through the entire town, they didn't see anyone from the other era and they were relieved. They were now looking for anything that could help close that crack. Since it appeared in a place covered by trees and hidden pretty well, they thought the one who made it must be hiding somewhere people don't usually go and someplace hard to find.

They looked around in alleys first, not too sure where whoever was doing this was really hiding. All they knew was that he or she was getting weaker and wouldn't be able to keep it up much longer.

"I don't see anything so far. What about you, Tsurara?" he asked, looking through garbage cans and behind cardboard.

"No, nothing yet. It's not too pleasant looking through this stuff either," she said in a disgusted voice, using her feet to move some garbage that was near her. Rikuo laughed a little and apologized, looking underneath an old delivery box. After lifting it a little, the sun shinned on something that gave a blue glow that caught both his eye and Tsurara's.

"Wow, that's pretty. What is it?" she asked, Rikuo going under the box and pulling whatever it was out. He held it in the palm of his hand, looking at it. It was a crystal clear, blue gem that seemed to be the same size of an eyeball. The sun was still reflecting on it, which made a nice, blue glow.

"Don't know, but it doesn't seem like it's anything from around here. Maybe from someone from the other era forgot it here or something," he said, trying to look closer at it. As he moved his head closer, the glow became stronger, as if reacting to something. He looked around, noticing Tsurara moving her head closer to. She looked at him, startled that he was looking her way.

"What?" she asked, moving back. As she did, the glow died down again.

"Hm…seems like this gem reacts to Demon. Maybe it has something to do with that crack. Let's take it back and ask Grandpa to have a look at it. Maybe he knows what exactly it is too," he said, Tsurara nodding once, not completely following what he was saying. He got up and put the gem in his pocket, wanting to get back as fast as he could.

Jess was jumping from branch to branch, not looking too confident. I understand what he told me to do, but I'm not too sure about how I'm supposed to do it. I mean, this isn't something you usually do on a regular basis. Especially since the one we're dealing with is Naraku. She thought, thinking back to what Sesshomaru told her

"What?" she asked, surprised and shocked by what he said.

"Naraku is after the power that's in your sword, and Rikuo Nura mentioned something about a gem that he was looking for. If that gem is the same one you have there, then he'll hunt you down no matter what. While this puts you in danger, it'll also give us a chance to see if he has anything to do with the space disrupting," he explained, Jess looking worried.

"I get that, and I'll do it. But, isn't a little too risky for you to go by yourself?" she asked, Sesshomaru sighing.

"I was going to ask those other Demons for help. As much as it annoys me to do so. Although it might be a long shot for them to want to help, if I use the right words to explain the situation, I'm sure they'll lend a hand," he told her, Jess feeling a little more at ease. But, she still didn't think this was a good idea. However, she couldn't say that. Then she would be going against her Master.

"Just do what he says. He can rot in hell once we're done, I'll say that much," Flarenix said, giving Jess another reason for not really going. "Look, he's you Master and you'll do what he says even if it kills you. You've always had that thought in your mind. So, this isn't anything different. Just carry out his order without hesitation, even if it might hurt him," she ordered her, Jess hesitating a bit before nodding and got ready to leave.

"One more thing," he said as she turned her back, making her turn her head. "If anything goes wrong, just keep running. Don't turn around and come back unless you really need to. The longer you keep them busy, the longer time we have to figure out what's going on," he said, Jess nodding as she jumped up in the tree.

"I get what he wanted me to do, and that's all that really matters. But I can't help feeling worried," she said to herself, sighing. She stopped after a while, looking around for any clues to where Naraku could be right now. "Of course, when you want to find him he's nowhere, but when you don't he's there," she sighed again, jumping down from the safety of the trees.

Just as she did, she heard something behind her. Like clanging swords. She turned around and narrowed her eyes, going over to check it out. As she pushed a few leaves from a bush out other way, she saw InuYasha fighting against Jakotsu. Jakotsu had locked InuYasha's sword

"My, you're even more handsome while you're angry," the creepy Jakotsu said, Jess narrowing her eyes as she looked around. I don't sense Bankotsu or the others. But you never know. And I still need some way of getting Naraku's attention. Maybe the Half-Breed knows. She thought, drawing her sword and stabbing it in the ground. In doing so, she sent a wave of fire straight towards Jakotsu, forcing him to jump back.

"What the hell?" InuYasha said, surprised by the sudden help. He looked around, not noticing her in the bushes. She moved the flames closer to Jakotsu, not wanting to bother with him at the moment. Sure, he could help me get Naraku's attention, but I'd rather not fight him. She told herself, Flarenix butting in the conversation.

"You're doing something smart for once. If you fight him, you'll be attracting too much attention to yourself. Which will always end badly," she said, Jess keeping her eyes fixed on Jakotsu's actions. After a while, he just ran away from the fire. When she was sure he was long gone, she pulled the sword of the ground and the fire died down.

"It almost seems like you have a death wish, Half-Breed. Or maybe you're just acting carelessly while looking for Naraku," she said, InuYasha instantly looking her way with an annoyed look.

"I don't remember asking for your help. Why'd you get involved anyway?" he asked, Jess sheathing her sword.

"I need to find Naraku, and it's not to get the Jewel Shards. I need to figure out if he's got anything to do with things getting messed up," she explained briefly, InuYasha demanding a proper one. She sighed, and told him what they knew so far, even showing him the gem she mentioned.

"So, he's after that as well. Man, greedy Demon. It isn't enough that he has most of the Sacred Jewel Shards it seems. So that gem has similar powers to the Jewel?" he asked, Jess nodding. However, also adding that it doesn't have the power to change something. Like turning a poor Human into a King, or let a Half-Demon become a full-fledged Demon.

"The only reason I can think of Naraku wanting it is that it can protect the holder from the effects of the Sacred Jewel. So maybe he wants to make sure that there's no one that can go against him with something that's supposedly as powerful as his power source," she said, InuYasha nodding. As she finished, they heard footsteps behind them, seeing Miroku walking towards them.

"So, what exactly are you going to do since you're looking for him?" he asked, Jess closing her eyes and said it had nothing to do with them. She walked past him, asking if they had any clues about where he was hiding. "Try looking around where his old palace was. Maybe you'll find something there," he suggested, Jess thanking him and walked away.

As she jumped from branch to branch, she kept her senses sharp in case she found the members of the Band of Seven. If she did, she might have an even better chance of figuring out where Naraku was. She headed in the direction of the castle he was at before, which was where he hid himself before.

However, before she could get close to it, she heard someone talking by the river side, curious about what's going on. Even though she needed to find Naraku, she thought that whoever was there might have an idea where he might be. She stopped and saw Bankotsu and Jakotsu talking. She couched down so she wasn't so easily spotted.

"It might've been that girl who go in your way. She can control fire, if you remember. So she could've very easily just hid herself and interrupted your fight," Bankotsu said, Jakotsu looking very annoyed.

"That girl keeps getting in the way, it's really getting on my nerves. Why can't we just kill her? We don't need her alive for long, do we?" he asked, Jess narrowing her eyes.

"Like Naraku said, he wants the power that's inside her sword. IN order to get that, she needs to be alive until we get that power out. Also, she's skilled at stealth and has some training in close combat without her sword. SO even if she's not needed for that, she could be useful," he said, sounding very against getting rid of her. True, I already have training in fighting thanks to that idiot in my class, but why is that a reason for keeping me alive? She thought, Jakotsu looking confused as well.

"So, we can't kill her is what you basically trying to say. Has she perked your interest, Bankotsu?" he asked, Bankotsu slightly nodding. He said that if he could take Sesshomaru's 'slave', he would most likely get on the Demons nerves. Which might make him act without thinking. Jess growled slightly, moving a little. I need to figure out where Naraku is, and if getting caught is the only way then so be it. She said, drawing her sword and jumping towards Bankotsu, who quickly reacted and use his own blade to block her attack and threw her to the other side of the river-

"So, how long have you been here?" he asked, Jakotsu sending his own blade towards her and forcing her to go back on the side she was just forced off.

"Enough to hear your stupid plan about making me stop being Sesshomaru's 'slave' as you put it," she said, jumping at him again. Jakotsu swung his sword in her way, sending her off her original path and going to the side of Bankotsu. As she did, he swung his blade upwards. She used her sword to black it, but was thrown really hard towards a tree head first. Her conciseness was slowly leaving her, though she was determined to make it seem like she didn't want to get captured. If she just let them take her that easily, it would seem a little fishy.

"I really don't like hurting someone who is this young. Especially a pretty girl," he said, swinging it so it rested on his shoulder. Jess got up on her feet, very unstable and her vision very blurry.

"Like I give a damn," she said, her breathing getting very heavy. Bankotsu sighed and punched her in the gut, making her lose her breath and fell unconscious on his arm.

Rikuo and Tsurara made their way back to the Main household, showing Nurarihyon the stone they had found while out. He was studying it for a while, telling them both to leave him alone while he was examining it. Neither of them had any idea what it was, but hoped that e had some clue.

After a while, he called them in again and sighed.

"This is a Time Stone, one of two actually. Whoever this belongs to, is the one who is responsible for what's going on," he explained, Rikuo asking how he knew what they had figured out. He told them Shoei had reported what he had found out when he got back while they were out.

"So, the other one is in the other era?" Rikuo asked, Nurarihyon nodding as he handed it back to him.

"Don't go through, but throw this to the other side so they can at least find it. It'll automatically go towards the other stone if they are in the same era. So it'll most likely find its way back to its partner," he explained, Rikuo nodding as he left the room along with Tsurara. "And Rikuo, don't stay too close to it. Even though the stone was the reason the crack is still around, throwing that stone in will also make it close drastically. So it might suck you in by accident,"

"OK, grandpa. I'll be careful," he said, smiling as they left. He closed the door behind him, Kurotabo showing up as well. He said he wanted to join them, Rikuo thanking him. "Oh, has there been anything going on recently? I'm worried about my friends," he asked, the Demon shaking his head.

"No, nothing that I know of at least," he said, Rikuo nodding as they left the garden and headed out. I wonder how everyone is doing, I haven't really been around lately, so they might get worried. Neither has Tsurara, so that might seem even more suspicious. I just hope everyone is OK. He thought, arriving a lot faster than he expected. He looked around, Tsurara and Kurotabo making sure no one else was around. Rikuo looked down at the stone again.

"Young Master, we really shouldn't dawdle around here. Let's get this over with and get back before something happens," Tsurara said, Rikuo nodding as he threw the stone in and going back a few steps. Just like his grandfather told him, the crack instantly grew smaller, a lot smaller as well. It almost seemed like he was too big to go through it anymore.

"Let's go back, we're done here," he said, turning around and the others followed him. I just hope they can make it go completely away before something gets through. He thought, sighing slightly

InuYasha and Miroku were walking around, looking for Kagome and the others. They had just encountered Jess, who had gone off without giving them a clue about her plan or why she had to find Naraku.

"I'm a little worried. What if something happens to her while she's aimlessly looking around?" he asked, InuYasha saying he couldn't care less and kept walking. "You wouldn't be saying that if it were Kagome,"

"Kagome isn't stupid enough to look for someone who wants her basically dead," he said, looking rather annoyed. Miroku sighed, hearing something above them. He looked up, noticing a furry tail in the leaves.

"Shippo, you can come down. There's no monsters around here," he said calmly, the little fox peeking out and jumping on his shoulder. He tried saying he wasn't hiding, though Miroku didn't believe a word he said.

"Anyway, where's the rest? You were with them, weren't you?" InuYasha asked, Shippo nodding.

"They went down to the river. Kagome and Kirara are back now as well, so they've probably got something to tell us," he told him, InuYasha nodding as he went in the direction he smelled water from. Of course, he wasn't sure if it was the same water they were at, since he couldn't smell them because of the sea smell.

"We should get going before it gets dark, and before something happens around here," Miroku suggested. They started walking, and eventually ended up by the river, looking around. Shippo jumped down from Miroku's shoulder, telling them that they were just up the river. They followed him, seeing them up ahead. Kirara was sitting on Sango's lap, and Kagome was nibbling some food.

"So, what happened in that other place? Find anything useful?" InuYasha asked, only having been there a second before going after Renkotsu.

"Not really, though it seems Jess knows a lot. Which would mean Sesshomaru knows something as well," she said as InuYasha and Miroku sat down beside them.

"So what if he does, as long as it doesn't affect us," the Half-Demon said, Miroku nodding. "Anyway, there hasn't been anything weird going on as far as I know. So maybe everything's back to normal,"

"You're rather stupid, Half-Breed!" a small voice said behind them, all of them seeing Jaken standing there by himself. "Lord Sesshomaru has told me to give you a message, so you'd better listen!" he yelled, getting hit by InuYasha before he got to say a word.

"Watch you mouth. And why should we care about what Sesshomaru has to say?" he asked, Jaken getting over the pain and started to explain.

"Lord Sesshomaru thinks that Naraku has something to do with the crack in time, so he sent Jess to distract him while he looked around. Since he's after Jess's power, he won't really think about taking his time with him since she's in his grasp," he said, getting another hit from InuYasha.

"Like I care. She's the one who's doing his bidding. So it's her own fault if she dies," he said, Kagome looking annoyed. She whispered 'sit', and InuYasha went straight to the ground face first. I'm getting really annoyed by her. He thought, just laying there. Miroku and Shippo sighed, Sango patting Kirara on the head.

"Anyway, I'm worried about Jess. She's strong, yes. But even she'll have trouble against Naraku. Should we go and see if there's anything we can do to help?" she asked, Kagome thinking for a bit.

"Maybe , but she'll also get mad at us for getting in the way. SO I don't think it is the best thing to do. Maybe we should just let them get the chance to fix this. Then we can go after Naraku after that," she said, InuYasha nodding instantly. As long as I get to kill that Naraku, I'm more than satisfied. He thought, Sango and Miroku agreeing in the end. Shippo and Kirara didn't have all that much say in it, though they didn't really care.

Jess slowly opened her eyes, looking around her surroundings. Her stomach was aching after Bankotsu punched her. She tried getting up, only making the pain worse. She was able to sit up at least, leaning her back against what seemed to be a wooden wall. Must be in some old temple or something. She thought, looking around for her sword.

"Of course they wouldn't leave that with me," she said to herself, sighing. I wonder what they are doing? It seems way to quiet. She thought, hearing footsteps just as she finished that thought.

"So, you've woken up. A lot faster than I expected," she heard Bankotsu's voice on the other side of the door. She didn't say anything, only gritted her teeth as she tried to move. "Don't strain yourself now. You'll be needed in not too long. And all you have to do is what Naraku tells you too," he said, only making her more annoyed.

"If you think I'll do anything, you're damn wrong. The only one who gets to order me around is Sesshomaru since he's my Master. And a Human like you and a power hungry Demon like Naraku can't get me to do whatever you say no matter what," she said, very determined about what she was saying.

"Is that so? I know you don't have to do what I say, but can you really go against Naraku that easily?" he asked, Jess not saying anything. He slowly opened a door, which was by her right. "That is, if he becomes your new Master,"

"I'd die before I get a new Master. And you'd better believe it," she said, her eyes showing more anger than anything. She had completely forgotten the pain as she got up and stood up, though very unstable. Bankotsu grabbed her arm and supported her, pulling her arm over his shoulder and leading her somewhere. She growled at him, not happy in the least.

"Better this than having Naraku looking down on you, isn't it?" he said, smirking. She looked away, seeing his point. He kept walking down the hallway, Jess not too sure where he was heading.

After a while, they came to a very foggy area, And Jess could very barely see anything. She could kind of make out a mountain, but that was about it. She pulled her arm away from Bankotsu, and walked on her own. She was still a little unstable, but she could walk.

She heard footsteps walking towards them, seeing Naraku walking towards her. She narrowed her eyes, noticing Jakotsu from the corner of her eye.

"Well, did you guys find Suikotsu?" Bankotsu asked before anyone got to say a word. Jakotsu said that they had some idea where he was, however they haven't really found him yet.

"That can wait a bit, I presume," Naraku said, getting all of their attention. "Now then, will you kindly tell us what you know about the Demon which rest in your sword?" he asked, Jess acting like she didn't know anything. "Acting dumb isn't going to help you. I know you know something in the very least,"

"I don't know much more than Sesshomaru. And what Demon are you talking about?" she asked, Flarenix snickering as she kept acting. Naraku didn't look to pleased with her answer, his eyes already looking darker. Like he could kill her in any second. She noticed Bankotsu was looking at something, not too sure what.

"If you know so little about the Demon I speak of, then why did you have this?" Naraku asked, getting her attention back to him and noticed he was holding the gem she had with her. She honestly wasn't too surprised he had taken, but she had to act so he didn't get suspicious. She growled at him, making him smile. "You couldn't have found this without its help,"

"…" Jess just stayed silent, waiting for a bit before talking. "Even if I did know something, I wouldn't tell you no matter how much you'd want me to. I haven't told anything about my sword to him, so you're defiantly not getting to know before him," she said, narrowing her eyes. I just have to buy time for Sesshomaru to find out what's going on. And if Naraku has anything to do with it. She thought, seeing that she made him annoyed once again.

"So, you won't talk no matter what. Then I can just get her out myself," he said, pulling out her sword as well. She narrowed her eyes, not too sure what exactly he was going do.

However, before he got to do anything, Black Fang pounced on him from behind. Naraku quickly reacted and sent him flying behind him. However, this gave Jess a chance to do something. She dashed towards him and grabbed the hilt of her sword and pulled it out of its sheath. She swung it at Naraku, who quickly jumped back. Bankotsu came up from behind her and tried striking her, but she quickly evaded it and dashed towards Naraku.

Acting like she was going to attack, Naraku instinct jumped to evade it. Though this is what she was hope he would do. She used her free hand to hit his wrist with the gem in it, making him drop it and letting her take it back. She quickly jumped back and was met by Black Fang who swiftly took to the air and away from them.

"Nice timing. Any real reason why?" she asked, Black Fang telling her that Sesshomaru had already found the Demon who was behind the dimensions getting mixed up and killed him with the help of Sajime and Ryuu. Since they were done, and everything was back to normal, there wasn't any need for her to be put in danger anymore. She sighed, kind of glad it was done.

"Anything else you want to do before we go and meet up with Sesshomaru?" he asked, Jess shaking her head as he flew closer to the ground. "Kagura has been flying around lately, so I'm just being extra careful. She nodded, looking behind them just in case.

After a few minutes, he landed near a river, Sesshomaru walking towards them with both Jaken and Rin tailing him. Rin was instantly happy to see Jess again, running over to hug her. She smiled at her, Jaken going on and on about how reckless she was. Sesshomaru didn't say anything, only walking towards her. When he was right in front of her, she asked what happened.

"It was a Demons doing, one with the ability to do almost anything thanks to his stones. It can be any kind of stone, and he'll just channel his power though it and use it. Even the oldest of those Demons knew about him, so he's defiantly been around for a long time," he said, Jess looking confused.

"How the hell did he live so long?" she asked, Sesshomaru mentioning something about he could steal souls to live longer. Mostly of young females. "So, everything is back to normal now, more or less?" she asked, Sesshomaru nodding.

"Come on," he said right afterwards, not letting her say a word before following him.

OK, finally done with this chapter! I didn't really write during my holiday, which I'm sorry for. Anyway, this is the last official chapter. Since some of you wanted me to write a chapter that sort of gave a summary of what happened in the last story, I'll do that for this one as well. So there's going to be one more chapter.

Also, soon it'll be a 2 years anniversary for how long I've been writing stories on this site! And I was hoping you guys could help me get an idea for a one shot or something. Since I wouldn't have kept writing if you guys hadn't let me know what you thought. So I thought I would take the one which was mostly suggested. Anyway, leave a review and I'll see ya next chapter!
