Karkat and the others had hung out for about 4 more hours before going home, what a Saturday for the young Cancer. Sollux's house was nearby McDonalds and the park so he didn't have to walk that far. Gamzee went to walk Tavros home and he walked home alone. He still wondered about the promise he had made to Gamzee about putting up with Kankri and actually treating him like a brother. Though the thought had sicken Karkat to the very core, he promised. And, if Sollux could up with Mituna, and Gamzee with Kurloz ( Why wouldn't he. ) and he wasn't entirely sure about Tavros and Rufioh, but he said that he was fine with him. Then, he could probably handle Kankri. Thinking about all that stuff, he hadn't realized that he almost passed his house. He walked up to the door, fished into his pocket for the keys and opened the door. Kankri was on the couch stuffing his face with peanut butter, then he saw the 10 full grocery bags with loads of peanut butter inside. Karkat wondered how much that all actually costed but, as long as Kankri had his trap shut he didn't really seem to give a flying fuck. He went up to his room and glanced at the digital clock nearby his bed. It'd be 3 hours before the Signless came home and made dinner for them.

He decided he would listen to music but then stopped. He remembered about Eridan's Ipod, and how he forgot walk to his place to give it back to him. He sighed, but then turned on his xbox and TV, grabbing his headset and controller then crashing down on his bed. The others seemed to be online already, why not play as a team in the game?

In a matter of minutes, Karkat's whole room was filled with the game's booming volume sounds.

"Get 'em from the left KK!", Sollux shouted into his headset.

"I know what I'm doing fuckass!", then he managed to get himself killed out of nowhere. "Fuck!"

"I told you to get him."

Gamzee was laughing his ass off and Tavros tried to keep his laughter in, only giving out a small giggle.

"Shut the fuck up!", Karkat then heard a knock at the door. He face-palmed and automatically knew who it was.

"Hold on guys.", he removed his headset and walked over to his door, peering out of it and sure enough, it was Kankri.

"Yes, Kankri?", He tried to keep his usual tone to a softer version of his voice. Kankri looked at him dumbfoundedly because of this.

"Why is your voice like that?"

"Don't question me.", he tried even harder to keep his voice down.

Kankri looked at him for a bit more before going back to what he was going to say to Karkat."Uhm, yes. Anyway, could you please lower your volume? I can't hear my show, and we have many neighbors around that it could disturb greatly. We'd probably have to deal with many complaints-"

"Okay, okay!", Karkat interrupted the beginning of Kankri's lecture about his volume and what could possibly happen if he didn't lower it."All you needed to do was just ask..", he grumbled and shut the door, locking it. He grabbed the TV remote and lowered the volume to a 20. He slipped back on his headset to hear the guys talking about him and Kankri.

"So do you think he'd last trying to get along with him motherfucker?"

"He wouldn't last a fucking week without thnapping.", Sollux responded to Gamzee with his thick lisp.

"Uhm, excuse you asshat. I just finished talking to him."

"Wow, you didn't thcream at him at all, it's a new record KK. Congrats.", Karkat could've sworn that he heard Sollux smirk.

"Shut up grubfuck.", he then resumed the game with his asshole friends.

Kankri walked back downstairs and thought about Karkat's sudden change of behavior when he asked him to lower the volume. Normally Karkat would've told him to fuck off and slam the door in his face. Thus, leading into Kankri using the keys against him and lecturing him to death about the neighbors and blah blah blah. Kankri ignored the TV and began to think about it more, why was Karkat calmer than usual.

Gamzee gave him drugs didn't he? Yes, it must be the drugs. Gamzee was a stoner as you could've known or not by now, he always had drugs stashed on him, each and every kind of drug you could ever think of. For this, Kankri disliked the clown, he always thought that he would make Karkat try them out for himself.. Perhaps Gamzee did urge Karkat to try them. Oh, the thought of it made Kankri feel weird.

'Hey motherfucker. Don't worry, this shit is motherfucking miracles, I'm tellin' ya. It won't hurt to try.'

'..Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. But, just this once, okay?'

Dear Lord.

Kankri swore he didn't smell anything while he was near Karkat, but Karkat didn't fully open the door, he must've been hiding something.

"No.", Kankri spoke to himself, it was a habit he had, don't judge. "No, I shouldn't jump to conclusions. It would trigger anyone if possible. But still...", he sat in silence for a few seconds, before dialing Kurloz's number on his phone. Kurloz picked up, and then Kankri said :

"Kurloz, I think Gamzee gave Karkat drugs."

A/N – Woo short chapter. This chapter was gonna be longer but, my head and hands hurt from today. The chapters will get longer than this. I'm aiming for at least 3000. It's getting easier to write these thngs now that I'm starting to get back into this fandom. I'll update more faster then before. Until then, peace.
