The next day, Anna was going down the stairs. On the way she found another vampire from the tomb.

"Hey Beth-Anne." She said to the vampire and then got inside the living room where she found another group of vampires watching TV. "What are you guys watching? You guys have been watching the same thing the whole time? There are over one hundred and fifty channels. It's called a remote control. This button changes the channel. Hold it like this." She showed them how to change channels.

Dining Room

Anna, Frederick and Miss Gibbons

When Anna went into the dining room and found Frederick feeding on Miss Gibbons from her wrist.

"Did you get enough, sweetheart?" Miss Gibbons asked him and patted him in the head.

"For now." He told her.

"Anna, are you hungry? Did you want a little?" Miss Gibbons asked Anna offering a vein for her to drink.

"No, thank you Miss Gibbons." Anna thanked her and then she saw that the lady was weak from losing some blood from feeding the vampires she had at her house. "Why don't you lie down for a while and get some rest?" She suggested to the older woman.

"She's fine. Aren't you Miss Gibbons?" Frederick asked compelling Miss Gibbons.

"Off course I am. I'm fine." Miss Gibbons said and left the dining room. Anna looked at Frederick and they exchanged looks.

Donavan's House

Kelly's Room

Kelly and Matt

"Hey mom! Mom?" Matt called his mother by knocking on his mother's room. "Hey mom?" Matt called her once again.

"What? I'm trying to sleep." Kelly asked when she opened the door.

"I was just making sure you're alive." Matt explained to his mother.

"I'm sorry sweetie. It was a late night. My head is throbbing." Kelly apologized to her son once again.

"I would appreciate it if you wouldn't bring the party home. And I'm pretty sure the neighbors would appreciate it too." Matt said to his mother remembering the night before.

"It wasn't a party, it was one guy, don't be so judgey." Kelly stated.

"Well, I talked to Roberta at the Grill and there's still a bartending position open if you want to… get a job." Matt suggested to his mother.

"I figured she'd still be pissed about the last time I worked there." Kelly confessed to Matt.

"I think she's desperate." Matt stated hoping that his mother would take this change.

"I'll check it out." Kelly said hoping that her son would let her sleep.

"Yeah?" Matt said with a smile on his face.

"Don't act so surprised." Kelly said to Matt.

"Well, I mean… I didn't know how long you planned on sticking around." Matt explained to his mother.

"Well, there's back rent due." Kelly informed her son.

"There's back everything mom." Matt stated to his mother because he wanted her to know what was going on in her absence.

"Like I said, I'll check it out." Kelly promised to Matt when someone knocked on the front door. "Who's that?" Kelly asked.

"It's Caroline." Matt told her and made a face. "Easy." Matt pleaded to his mother making her raise her eyebrows. "Yeah come in!" Matt called to Caroline.

Caroline, Kelly and Matt

"Hi Mrs. Donovan." Caroline said after opening the door and entering the kitchen. The older woman got up and left the room.

"Hey, ok. Well we're going to be late. So let's get going." Matt said to Caroline while he went towards her.

"Yeah." Caroline agreed with him.

"Hey." Matt said to her when they were outside of the house.

"Hey." She said back smiling.

"How are you?" Matt asked her after the night before.

"Good." She said smiling at him.

Mystic Falls High School

Eva and Tyler

Tyler was arriving to school when he saw that Eva was walking behind Stefan and Elena. The older twin was thinking about Damon and his problem. He still was thinking about Danielle. Tyler wanted to apologize for his mother. Carol had told him about thinking that he and Eva were back together.

"Eva?" Tyler called her putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah?" Eva said turning around to talk with Tyler.

"I wanted say sorry about my mother. She told your conversation with her on the bachelor raffle." Tyler explained to her.

"Ty, it's no problem. Yours and my parents wanted a join the families but now it's impossible. And right now, I just want your friendship." Eva explained to him.

"I know that and I hope that you can find the right guy and I can find the right girl for me." Tyler said agreeing with her.

"I hope that too. But I think that I already found him." She said to her ex-boyfriend.

"I know and thank you again for accepting our friendship again." Tyler said to her and kissed her check. Then he walked away from Eva, while she continued her way to her locker and prepared for classes.

Elena and Stefan

Elena and Stefan were walking through the school yard and they were talking about the older Salvatore. Elena was talking about her worries that she had with Eva.

"Damon hasn't said a word to me." Stefan starts to explain. "Every time I try to talk to him he shuts me down." He finished telling her.

"Do you think he's still trying to find Danielle?" Elena asked to Stefan worried about her sister and her feelings.

"I don't know. He waited a hundred and forty five years only to find out that Danielle could not care less. I mean it's gotta hurt, right?" Stefan asked Elena worried too.

"And it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy." Elena said sarcastically still upset about what he did to her birth mother and hurt he was putting her sister through.

"You have every reason to be upset with him. Have you thought any more about what you and Eva are going to do?" Stefan asked her worried about the girls.

"About what? Isobel my vampire birth mother, who's related to my vampire ancestor Katherine and Danielle, who screwed over your vampire brother and you? Nah… I haven't thought about it at all." Elena said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry I brought it up." Stefan apologized to his girlfriend.

"It'd just be nice if we could get through one day without having to deal with any of it, no vampire mother or brother." Elena suggested to Stefan.

"No vampires at all?" Stefan asked her because he was a vampire.

"No vampires but you. I just want to get us back to normal stuff like school and homework and here's a thought: fun." Elena said with hope in her voice.

"Ooh, that sounds good to me, when do we start?" Stefan said to her and both of them laughed and left to get inside of the school.

Hallway

Eva was taking her stuff from her locker when her sister joined her and started to do the same. Elena simply looked at her sister and knew something was wrong with her.

"Are you okay?" Elena asked her sister worried.

"I'm fine, Lena. Just a little worried about the birth mother and Damon." Eva explained to her twin sister.

"Are you sure?" Elena insisted with her sister.

"Yes, I'm sure." Eva said to her sister. "Let's go to class." She said and both girls went to their class.

Caroline and Matt

Matt and Caroline were walking around the hallway and talking about their date that they had planned for the night.

"We can watch a movie at my place." Matt invited Caroline.

"With your mom and a six pack?" Caroline said sarcastically.

"You know… you don't really help the situation. You could at least try to be nice." He suggested to her but knowing that it is his mother who isn't nice to Caroline.

"Oh… I'm sorry. It's hard for me to show kindness to people that hate me. I'm not that evolved." Caroline said to him while Matt raised his head and looked at Stefan and Elena when they were kissing each other. Caroline turned her head and looked at them too. Then turned her head to look at Matt and decided to do what he had suggested for their date that night. "So, a movie tonight?" She asked him smiling.

"Wherever you want to do it's good for me but I'm late and I got to go ok?" Matt told her with a sad look.

"Okay." Caroline said to him and moved in for a kiss but Matt left without looking to her face that showed hurt.

Gibbons House

Anna, Harper and Pearl

Pearl was in the kitchen talking with Harper and Anna. She had plans for them to stay on that town and she was explaining Harper how to use a phone and how to text.

"The keypad is for texting which is what you do when you want to avoid talking to someone." Pearl explained to Harper.

"I didn't break it I swear." Harper said after pushing a button and a message from Jeremy started to play. Anna rushed to her phone.´

"I was just showing Harper what you taught me. What a marvelous device!" Pearl explained to her daughter.

"Who was that?" Harper asked with curiosity to Anna.

"Jeremy Gilbert." Anna told them.

"Is that your boyfriend?" Harper asked her with a curious voice.

"Of course not." Pearl said and got up from the chair turning to her daughter showing off her clothes. "What do you think?" She asked.

"Very respectable." Anna agreed with her mother's choice of clothing.

"That's the goal. I can't say that I miss corsets." Pearl said sarcastically.

"Susie Sunshine gave me her car keys and her ATM card." Anna said to her mother.

"What's that?" Pearl asked with a curious voice.

"I'll explain later." Anna said promising her mother.

Anna, Frederick, Harper and Pearl

Frederick was waiting outside the kitchen. He had heard Anna and Pearl talking in the kitchen, and wanted to know what they were planning. Then he saw them leaving and went to them.

"Where are you going?" He asked them.

"We have some business in town. We'll be back as soon as we can. I trust that you'll keep an eye on things." Pearl asked him.

"So, I'm the baby sitter now?" Frederick asked sarcastically.

"Frederick, if this is going to work we have to cooperate with one another." Pearl advised him.

"So you saying..." Frederick started hoping that Pearl would tell him where she was going with Anna.

"I'll watch things miss Pearl." Harper suggested to Pearl.

"Thank you Harper." Pearl thanked Harper and then she leaves the house with Anna while the other two exchanged looks.

Mystical Falls High School

Caroline, Elena and Stefan

Caroline approached Elena and Stefan after the end of their classes. She had an idea that would show Matt that Elena had moved on with Stefan.

"I'm thinking nothing huge, just a dinner at the grill maybe a late movie." Caroline suggested to the couple.

"You mean like a double date?" Stefan asked hesitantly.

"Two pair out on a Friday night coupled. Yeah a double date." Caroline said to them.

"Do you think that's a good idea?" Elena asked Caroline worried about Matt.

"Why not?" Caroline asked. "I know that Eva is not with someone now but we could out, me with Matt and you with Stefan. We all haven't gone out together before and I don't want it to be uncomfortable for us. Look the couple dynamics had changed and there's been a little awkwardness between you, Matt, and me and I just think it's important that we get over it." Caroline explained to Elena.

"I don't know." Elena still wasn't sure about Caroline's idea.

"I think that sounds like a great idea." Stefan said smiling after thinking it about it.

"You do?" Elena asked him surprised at his answer.

"Yeah. A nice evening out with friends. Sounds fun, as in fun." Stefan said quoting the word fun.

"A double date it is." Elena said decided after hearing her boyfriend explanation.

"Okay. So, we will see you tonight." Caroline said smiling.

"Okay." Elena said and Caroline walked away. Then Elena turned to Stefan and looked up at him not knowing what to say anymore. "Okay."

Eva was in an empty classroom to think and to put her thoughts in some songs because she was so confused about everything, it was about her birth mother and once again about the signals that Damon was giving her. When the inspiration came she started to write the song. She decided to call the song has A Drop in the Ocean (A.N.: This song belongs to Ron Pope, I'm using only for my OC), which was based on the feelings she had about Damon.

After she finished this song, Eva started to feel a little better about her feelings about the raven vampire. Another song started to hit her around her head, which continued to be based on her relationship with Damon. She really was in love with him. When Eva had finished the song, she named has Watching and Waiting (A.N.: This song belongs to Jessie James, I'm only using for my OC). She really thought that she had to watch and wait for Damon to understand that Danielle would never come back for him and that she will always be there for him.

When she reread the song, she closed her song book and putted on her school bag. She got up and went to the door to leave. When she was on the hallway she found her sister watching Caroline walking away from her and Stefan. Eva went to join them when Stefan left to go to his locker and Elena noticed that her sister was coming over to her and saw that she had a smile and a new look. Knowing Eva better than herself, she immediately knew that Eva had been writing some songs to clear her head just like her need to clear and for that she needed to write on her journal.

When Eva was close to her, Elena turned to her smiling. She had some strange news to tell her twin sister.

"Hey. I can see you are better." Elena said smiling.

"I am. I just needed to clear my head." Eva replied smiling too.

"I have some news." Elena told her sister. Eva simply looked at her sister. "Caroline wants to do a double date. Me with Stefan and her with Matt." Elena said to Eva.

"What?" Eva asked surprised. "Caroline never wanted to do those things. It was always you and me with Matt and Tyler." Eva replied surprised.

"I know and don't get mad, but she said that now you weren't dating anyone, you would feel that you were the fifth wheel." Elena said hoping that her sister wouldn't get mad at her for saying that.

"Lena, are you joking?" Eva laughed. "Do you really think I would be mad because of that?" Eva asked her sister still chuckling.

"Really?" Elena asked her smiling.

"Yes. Don't worry. Go have fun because I need some time for myself to dedicate to my music." Eva stated smiling.

"We can talk with Tyler to come with us." Elena suggested.

"No, Lena. I broke up with Tyler. If we had a date with you guys, he would think that we were back together." Eva said to her sister. "And I'm gonna sing at the Grill tonight."

"I know and I'm sorry for suggest that. I know you are still hurt for what Tyler did to you." Elena explained giving her sister a hug. "And count with me there to see you sing like always."

"You are always there." Eva said laughing. Both girls started to leave. Elena to prepare herself for her date and Eva for her night of singing on the Grill.

Damon entered in his house when he felt a presence in there. It was Anna and Pearl, that they were waiting for him in the living room.

"Hello Damon." Pearl greeted Damon.

"Ever hear of knocking?" Damon asked them sarcastically.

"An invitation wasn't necessary. I'm surprised that no living person resides here. Is it just you and your brother?" Pearl asked Damon.

"Yeah. How do you keep out unwelcome vampires?" Anna asked him with curiosity.

"I kill them." Damon said to them and ran over towards Pearl and tried to strangle her.

"Have a sit, Damon. I was hoping we could have a word." Pearl said to him and twisted his wrist while pushed him to the floor.

"Sure." Damon finally said.

Jeremy was on his computer chatting on a vampire's website. He was asking questions about vampires and how to become one.

"How do you become a vampire?" He asked writing on the computer.

"Brad Pitt changed me." The person on the other side answered back. Jeremy looked at the answer completely confused by that. Then he saw that the other person was typing once again. "Go to Vegas ask for Wayne Newton."

"How do you kill a vampire?" Jeremy asked to the other person.

"The blood of Paula Abdul." The person said joking.

"Serious answers only please." Jeremy pleaded.

"Stake in the heart always works." The person said like it was obvious.

"You're a believer?" Jeremy asked to be sure.

"Aren't you?" The person asked him.

Salvatore Boarding House

Anna, Damon and Pearl

Pearl and her daughter were still in the Salvatore Boarding House talking with Damon about their plans.

"We've taken up residence at a farmhouse just outside the town." Pearl explained to the raven vampire. "It'll suffice for now." Pearl sighed.

"All 25 vampires?" Damon asked her with curiosity.

"Not all, some. I imagine that a few have already left town. Others are probably still in the woods or like us acclimating." Pearl explained to Damon.

"How did they get out of the tomb?" Damon asked Pearl and Anna looking at them.

"I think the witch screwed up that part of her hocus pocus." Anna said smiling.

"I understand from Anna that the founding families still have a secret council?" Pearl asked Damon changing the subject.

"And you're a part of it." Anna finished for her mother.

"That's ridiculous." Damon said showing that he was outraged for that suggestion.

"I've been in Mystic Falls since the comet, Damon. I'm up to speed." Anna told him smirking.

"And so am I." Pearl said and turned once again to Damon. "And now that you have infiltrated in the council, I'll need to know everything they know. Starting off with a list that has names of all the council members and their families." Pearl finished looking at the raven vampire.

"And everyone you've supplied with vervain." Anna said once again.

"Yes, that will have to stop immediately." Pearl agreed with her daughter.

"What exactly are you trying to achieve?" Damon asked trying to discover their plans.

"Mystic Falls is our home, Damon. They took that from us. Our land, our home. It's time we rebuild." Pearl said to him showing that she wasn't going to change her mind.

"What, are you crazy? It was 1864. Wake up woman. The world has moved on." The older Salvatore said rolling his eyes.

"As a reward for your help I'm willing to give you what you want most." Pearl said knowing what Damon wanted.

"I want nothing." Damon stated but with a hint of curiosity.

"Danielle." Pearl stated.

"You wouldn't even know where she was. You've been under the ground for the last century and a half." Damon said scoffing.

"The twins and I were best friends long before we came to Mystic Falls, Damon. I know how they think, I know their patterns, and I know where to find them. You find one, you find the other." Pearl explained to him.

"I no longer have any desire to see Danielle ever again. And there's no way in hell I'm gonna be played as the role of your little minion." Damon stated because he really didn't care anymore.

"I'm not asking for your help, Damon." Pearl said getting up and pushing Damon on the couch. "Finding Danielle and Katherine was just a mere gesture of kindness. The rest is non-negotiable." She said and put her fingers in Damon's eyes. Then she pushed him on the floor. "I have four hundred years on you, little boy. I'll rip you from limb to limb without even blinking and you know it. I'll be in touch." Pearl finished and left the house with Anna.

Stefan was knocking on the door. He had come to pick Elena for their double date with Matt and Caroline. Who opened the door was Elena, which was already ready to leave for the famous date.

"You got me flowers!" Elena said surprised when Stefan gave her the flowers.

"I figured it's a date, why not do it right? I would have driven too but you're the one with the car." Stefan said to her smiling.

"You know, you think that for someone who was around when the car was invented you would have one." Elena stated making a joke.

"Oh, I have one. I just never drive it." Stefan said to her remembering the car that he has at home in the garage.

"You know, it's not too late to cancel." Elena suggested to Stefan about the double date.

"Why we would do that?" Stefan asked her with a surprised voice.

"I don't know, it just seems surreal. Like maybe we weren't meant to get to the normal part." Elena said sighing.

"That's exactly why we're going to do it. We're going to go out, have some fun and try to remember that we don't have to be so serious. Listen, when I decided to stay here and to get to know you, it so that I could do things like this. Bring my girlfriend flowers, take her out on a date, and try to be normal." Stefan explained to Elena.

"Have you ever even been on a double date before?" Elena asked him.

"Oh, absolutely. '72, Heffner and the twins." Stefan said chuckling.

"What?" Elena asked surprised.

"Yeah... playmates. I got Miss June." Stefan said to her smiling.

"Are you serious?" Elena asked once again surprised.

Eva's Room

Eva was leaving her bathroom where she had finished getting ready for the night at the Grill. She was going to sing once again. She went to her bed where her song book was located and started to look for some songs to sing that night. Eva was hoping that Damon would be present on the Grill. She wanted to show him what she was feeling and what she felt for him. When she was picking up her bag to put her song book inside the inspiration for the song came into her head. It was like Damon and she were dancing through their feelings and each other. Eva could see that he had feelings for her but he was so obsessed with Danielle, that he didn't see anything but her in front of him. She hoped that with this song he could really see her and her feelings for him.

When Eva finished writing, she decided to name the song has Pretending (A.N.: This song belongs to the show Glee, singed by Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, I'm only using for my OC). After finished, she closed her song book and put inside of her handbag. Then she looked around to see if she didn't forget anything and finally leaves her room to go to the Grill.

Jenna was waiting for Anna and Pearl in front of her brother in law's office. They wanted to see the office and maybe Jenna could rent to them.

"Miss Sommers?" Pearl asked when approached the strawberry blonde.

"Yes. Hi Pearl." Jenna said to Pearl turning around.

"Hi. This is my daughter, Annabelle." Pearl said pointing to Anna.

"Of course, Jeremy's friend." Jenna said remembering Anna.

"Nice to see you, Miss Sommers." Anna said to Jenna smiling.

"Oh, Jenna, please." Jenna asked to both women to call her by the first name and then turning to the door opening to show them the inside. "This property was in my brother in law's family for generations. It's one of the originals structure in Mystic Falls. It used to be one of those old fashioned drugstore thingies." Jenna explained to Pearl.

"An apothecary?" Pearl asked her, because belonged to her in 1864.

"Yeah." Jenna said nodding her head.

"You don't say." Pearl said secretly knowing everything about the office while Anna saw Jeremy walking by.

"Sorry if it's a little musty." Jenna apologized because after her brother in law's death, no one went to the office, while Anna continued watching Jeremy walking. "No one has been here for months." Jenna tried to explain.

"I'll use my imagination." Pearl said to Jenna and saw that her daughter was watching Jeremy walking by and then called her to come inside with her. "Annabelle?"

"I'm coming mother." Anna answered and they entered the office while Jenna was holding the door.

Damon and Kelly

Kelly Donavan was at the bar getting drunk once again. Damon got inside the Grill and went to sit down next to her. He was wearing sunglasses, because his eyes where sensitive after what Pearl had done to them.

"What's with the glasses inside?" Kelly asked him.

"My eyes were a little sensitive today." Damon answered her because of what Pearl did earlier to them.

"You're new around here." Kelly stated to him because she never saw him around town.

"On the contrary, I'm very old." Damon said smirking and then turned to the bartender to ask his drink. "Bourbon, neat."

"It's more like nursing my wounds. And you?" Damon informed her but still flirting with her.

"I was supposed interviewing for the bartender job but I think the manager blew me off." Kelly told him.

"Well, that's not very nice." Damon said looking up at her.

"Yeah. Last time I was in town I slept with her boyfriend." Kelly stated to him.

"That's not very nice either." Damon continued telling her.

"It happens." Kelly stated to him.

"Yes it does." Damon agreed with her remembering that he saw so many times Danielle with Stefan. Then Jenna arrived to the Grill after showing Grayson's office.

"This woman is crazy." Jenna said laughing.

"I'm not anymore." Jenna told her remembering about her sister and brother in law.

"Well sit, drink!" Kelly ordered her.

"I shouldn't. I'm more responsible now. Haven't you heard?" Jenna asked her.

"Well, take a night off its good for the soul." Kelly said to her.

"Great for the soul." Damon agreed with Kelly.

"This is not going to end well." Jenna said sitting down with Kelly and Damon.

Frederick was in the living room with his girlfriend/mate talking while Harper heard him complain about everything.

"I hate this house." Frederick complained.

"It's better than the tomb." Beth-Anne offered to him.

"I didn't stay locked up for a hundred and forty five years to end up locked here." He complained again.

"Maybe you should quit complaining." Harper stated.

"You're going to stop me?" Frederick asked while getting up from the couch and walking towards to Harper.

"Let it be Frederick. You heard what Pearl said." Beth-Anne said to her boyfriend.

"I don't care what Pearl said." Frederick said to Beth-Anne and then turned once again to Harper. "What you got boy?" He asked him. Harper got up and pushed Frederick on the couch because he didn't like what the vampire said about him. Frederick got up and pushed Harper against the wall. "Try that again." Frederick stated.

"Back off. Back off!" Pearl said after arriving at the house and strangled Frederick because of what he was doing. "We don't fight each other. Those are the rules." She stated to everyone could hear.

"And I'm tired of your rules. I want out of this house. Why can't we go out on the town?" He asked Pearl.

"Eventually. But for now we have to keep a low profile." Pearl pleaded to Frederick.

"No one knows who I am." Frederick stated.

"The Salvatore's brothers do." Pearl remembered him.

"And I wish to hell that I could run into them. They are the reason we were caught in the first place." Frederick said with so much hate on his voice.

Elena and Stefan were at the pool table playing with Matt and Caroline. They all were talking about Matt job at the Grill while they were still waiting to Eva's show. Elena had told them that her sister was going to sing that night.

"So, Matt, How do you like working here?" Elena asked to her friend trying to make some conversation.

"It's not that bad. Wait staff is pretty good and they can't keep a bartender to save their lives. I actually put my mom up for a job." Matt told them about his mother too.

"How has that been? Having Kelly back?" Elena asked him smiling because before they started to date they were friends.

"You know, same old Kelly. She's trying, sort of." Matt said to them.

"Kelly and my mom were best friends growing up. That's how Matt and I first met, we shared a crib together." Elena explained to Stefan laughing remembering the past with a smile on her face.

"You're kidding?" Stefan asked surprised by that without showing jealously because he knew that Elena had a past before met him.

"No, we have known each other our whole lives." Matt said and looked at Elena that looked at him too. Caroline watching their exchange sighed. Then everyone turned their heads when they heard laughing coming from a table where they saw Damon, Kelly and Jenna drinking together. "You got to be kidding me." Matt said once again after seeing that his mother didn't do what she had promised.

Eva had already arrived at the Grill and went to the bar get her usual bottle of water, and then she went to the stage talk to the band that was there to prepare the songs they would play. Eva had decided to sing at least one of her songs. When she was ready to start she saw Damon drinking with Jenna and Kelly, and that hurt because she knew how Kelly was. She would flirt and he would flirt back. When the band started to play the tones of one of the songs that Eva had chosen and everyone stopped to hear her sing like they always do. The song she had chosen was I Need You (A.N.: This song belongs to LeAnn Rimes, I'm only using for my OC to sing on the story), which belonged to one of her favorites singers, LeAnn Rimes.

After the end of the song, Eva was looking Damon's icy blue eyes. She couldn't believe that song showed how she really needed his presence and love in her life. Then Eva gave the signal to the band to continue play and Eva continued singing the songs she had selected to sing that night.

Damon was at the table talking with the two women and flirting with them. He was so into his conversation that he didn't see Eva coming inside the Grill and going to the bar to pick up a bottle of water. When he heard the music start to pick up and someone starting to sing, he looked at the stage and saw that it was Eva. When he heard the first part of the lyrics, they made him think that maybe Eva was the right girl for him and not Danielle. The two women started to their comments about Eva's voice. Damon was so entranced by her voice and the way she was dancing on the stage that he didn't heard them talking about Eva. When started the new song, Damon continued to stare at her and feeling that he should only to focus his attention on Eva and only her.

"Every time she sings, Eva entrances everyone." Jenna explained to Kelly watching Damon completely surrender to Eva's voice.

"I can see that." Kelly agreed with Jenna. "He really loves her."

"I know but I hope that he doesn't hurt her like Tyler did." Jenna said and Kelly nodded agreeing with her.

Frederick and Beth-Anne were going out the house. The older vampires were sick of being behind closed doors and they wanted to find something to do and to eat. Harper, that was passing by the door and found them when they were preparing themselves to leave the house.

"Where are you going?" Harper asked them worried.

"Beth-Anne and I are going out for a bit. Hit the town, kick up our heels." Frederick said to Harper hoping he wouldn't tell Pearl about that.

"We're not supposed to leave. Miss Pearl made that very clear." Harper advised him.

"You're going to stop me? I didn't think so." Frederick said and both left with Harper watching them.

Someone was knocking on the door of the Gilbert House. Jeremy went down the stairs to open the door. He was alone at home. When he opened the door it was Anna.

"Anna?" Jeremy asked surprised.

"I thought you and your mom were leaving town." Jeremy stated remembering what had told him days before.

"Change of plans. Sorry, I thought you'd be psyched." Anna said chuckling.

Damon and the two women continued to talk after Eva's show. They were talking about the raven vampire love life just like they had talked about the women too.

"Don't be grumpy. It can't be that bad." Jenna told him.

"You'd be surprised." Damon stated and then explained to them. "My primary reason for existence has abandoned me and after today's events, the remains of the shaky ground that I walk on are about to go kaboom. Let's get hammered." Damon said.

"Lets." Kelly agreed and they clank their glasses.

Caroline, Elena, Stefan and Matt are at the pool table. Eva and Tyler had joined them at the pool table. They're watching Damon, Kelly and Jenna having fun.

"At least they're having fun." Caroline said to her friends.

"They're drunk." Elena stated to them.

"Remember when the twins parents busted us here after the homecoming?" Matt asked to the girls and to Tyler.

"Oh my god yes!" Caroline said laughing remembering.

"Yeah, it was the night that I and Tyler started to date, right?" Eva asked Tyler.

"Yeah, that's right." Tyler agreed with Eva.

"Well, we were wasted; it was the first time I ever got drunk. I blame Matt." Elena said explaining to Stefan.

"Their parents got seated at the next booth." Matt continued telling the story.

"And Matt had me pretend that I was choking so we could get away." Elena continued to explain.

"Except that her dad was a doctor so he jumped up to save her." Matt said ready to start to laugh.

"Yeah, I remember dad getting up." Eva said already laughing.

"And I ran, slipped on the wet floor and bit it in front of everyone. Eva went after me and ended up falling on the floor too. Do you remember that? Three stitches, a hangover for days and I was grounded from seeing this one and Eva too from seeing Tyler." Elena turned to Matt. "For a week." Elena finished and they all started to laugh.

"I'm gonna go to the restroom. Elena? Eva?" Caroline asked the girls because he wanted to talk with them.

Jenna was talking with Kelly when she saw their nieces passing by some tables down where they were.

"Hide. We're not here." Jenna said stating and ready to hide from them.

"Why? Where'd we go?" Kelly asked not understanding.

"Children under our care. Five o'clock. This is not good." Jenna explained.

Jeremy and Anna were in the kitchen of the Gilbert House. They were planning to make some dinner and continued to talk about everything and why Anna and her mother were going to stay in town.

"What made you and your mom, both decide to stay in town?" Jeremy asked to Anna.

"She got this business opportunity; she's going to open up a little store. It has always been her dream. So yeah we're staying. And I'm thinking about going back to high school, so you'll be seeing a little more of me." Anna explained to him.

"Yeah?" Jeremy asked her happily.

"Enough of homeschooling. I'd like to be a normal teen for once. But I have to ask my mom first, she'll have an opinion." Anna explained to him.

"Well, I wish you were there now. I actually have to write another paper. I was thinking about squeezing one more out on The Vampire in Mystic Falls." Jeremy told her.

"Really? Haven't you exhausted the subject?" Anna asked him chuckling.

"No, I want to go deeper, you know. I want to understand why people were labeled as vampires back in the day. I mean, maybe there's such a thing has vampires, they're just different from the way we always thought they were." Jeremy explained to her why he wanted to do that paper.

"What do you mean?" Anna asked him interested.

"Well, maybe they're normal and good, just outsiders you know? Um, misunderstood by everyone." Jeremy tried to explain better to Anna.

"You're kidding, right?" Anna asked chuckling.

"Don't you think it could be possible? You did give me all that info." Jeremy told her.

The guys stated at the pool table while the girls went to the bathroom. Tyler knew he and Eva were only friends now but he was hoping they could become more now they were talking again.

"Double dating. This is all kind of new to me. I usually keep to myself. I don't always fit in." Stefan explained.

"Why do you say something like that?" Tyler asked surprised.

"That's because you're that guy." Matt stated and made Tyler and Stefan look at him.

"What guy?" Stefan asked with curiosity.

"The guy who seems like he has everything, so the people that don't, kind of run the other way." Matt explained to him.

"Yeah, Matt is right. I agree with that." Tyler said after thinking a little.

"Is that what I seem like?" Stefan asked them.

"Pretty much." Matt said.

"Hmm... What a dick!" Stefan said making them laugh.

"Yeah." Matt and Tyler said at the same time and started to laugh again.

Elena was washing her hands while Caroline was sitting behind her with Eva waiting for her.

"So um, what are you doing?" Caroline finally asked.

"What?" Elena asked her not understanding what Caroline was asking.

"Well the point of this was to show him how much you care about Stefan. You know, not to hopscotch down memory lane." Caroline said sarcastically.

"I was just trying to make conversation." Elena stated and Eva was watching the two of them talking and shaking her head at Caroline.

"Try less." Caroline said and left.

"Care!" Eva called her and went after her just like Elena.

"Caroline." Elena and Eva both called her while they were walking after Caroline when they passed Frederick. He saw them and catches Elena's arm making both of them stop to look at him.

"Katherine? Danielle?" He asked them.

"I'm sorry, you have the wrong people." Elena said to him while Caroline was waiting for them.

"Elena, Eva, come on!" Caroline called them.

"My mistake." He said to them and both girls joined Caroline and the guys at the pool table while Frederick looked at them.

"Everything's great." Elena said and then typed a text message "That man over there just called me Katherine and Eva, Danielle." Then she showed the text to Stefan. When he looked up he saw someone he knew and walked over towards them but Frederick and his girlfriend were already gone.

After some talk they all went to the Salvatore Boarding House. Elena parked her car while she and Stefan were discussing the fact that a man called her and Eva, Katherine and Danielle. Eva was with Tyler inside his car.

"So, you didn't recognize him, you haven't seen him before?" Stefan asked her worried.

"No, there was nothing familiar about him at all." Elena said to him.

"Eva, didn't recognize him, too?" Stefan asked with a worried look.

"No. We never saw him around town." Elena told him once again.

"Right, let's call it a night. Okay? Send Tyler, Matt and Caroline home?" Stefan asked her hoping he could talk better with the twins.

"No, the whole point of the night was to not have to deal with this stuff. We need to get through one night. One normal night." Elena said once again.

"You're sure?" Stefan asked trying to be assured.

"No, I'm not sure, but I don't know what else to do. Look, if there's another vampire in town, he'll still be here tomorrow. We'll deal with it tomorrow." Elena said with conviction on her voice.

"Okay." Stefan nodded and saw that Matt and Caroline arrived. "It's them. Eva and Tyler are already here too. Come here." Stefan told her and they both kissed.

Eva and Tyler were inside his car talking. He really wanted to thank her to give him a chance into being friends. Tyler had parked the car and turned to her. He wanted to talk with her about everything and to thank her to accept to spend some time with him this night after her show on the Grill.

"You don't need to thank me." Eva said to him. "Matt and Caroline, they are your friends just like me and my sister. We need to start to build our friendship." Eva explained to Tyler.

"I know. We started to date even before we become friends." Tyler agreed with her.

"I'm glad you understand that." Eva told him smiling.

"Me too. Matt and Caroline arrived." Tyler said to her and both of them got out of the car and went to stay beside Stefan and Elena.

Caroline, Matt, Stefan, Tyler, Eva and Elena were entering the living room. Stefan wanted to show them his house and trying to get to know his new friends.

"This is much better than watching Damon visit cougar town." Caroline said and then turned to Matt. "No offence." She said to her boyfriend.

"Don't remind me." Matt agreed with her and then turned to Stefan. "Man I've always wanted to see what it looks like to live in this place." Matt said looking around.

"Yeah. We always thought that it was haunted." Tyler said to Stefan.

"Yeah, I guess it's a bit much." Stefan said to them.

"Yeah, my entire house could fit in here. Like twice." Matt said with an admiration.

"My house is like this one. Being the son of the Mayor." Tyler explained.

"Feel like I've been here before. It's weird." Caroline said to them.

"Do you guys want to watch a movie or something?" Elena suggested because she was uncomfortable.

"Yeah, let's go." Eva agreed with her sister because she remembered about Damon's compulsion on Caroline.

"Whoa; these are great!" Matt said while walking towards Stefan's miniature cars collection.

"This is uh… a little hobby of mine." Stefan said with embarrassment on his voice.

"It's an understatement." Matt said with enthusiasm.

"He is crazy about cars. He always fixed my car when I had problems." Tyler supplied to Stefan.

Then he took the cherry out of her mouth with his own mouth. "That's amazing, you were fast." He said to her flirting.

"That would be my queue." Jenna said seeing their flirting.

"You're given up already?" Kelly asked to Jenna.

"Oh yeah." Jenna said and left the bar. "See you guys."

When Stefan was in front of the garage and turned to the guys while opening the garage door to show them the cars.

"Prepare yourselves, my friends." Stefan said while removing the tarp from the car.

"Wait, how do you have this?" Matt asked him with a surprised voice.

"Got passed down through the family." Stefan explained to him and opened the car's door for them to see.

"Why don't you… I mean… Why don't you drive it?" Matt asked him.

"This car is awesome Stefan." Tyler said to Stefan.

"Thanks Tyler. Well, it doesn't run. I mean, it's not that I could figure out." Stefan said to both guys.

"Why would you keep a car that doesn't run?" Caroline asked him not really understanding "car talk".

"Be more of a girl right now?" Matt asked her making all of them laugh.

"Hey, want to come take a look at this for me?" Stefan asked Matt.

"Elena, remember the old Camaro you're dad used to have?" Matt asked Elena.

"Yeah, dad used to have that car." Eva said remembering.

"Of course." Elena said smiling.

"I built and rebuilt that engine 20 times." Matt explained to Stefan.

"Wow." Stefan said surprised.

"It's true. When I used to pick up Eva for a date, he was already beneath the car and working on the engine." Tyler said to Stefan.

"Yeah, it was true." Eva explained. "Then Tyler end up staying with Matt helping him while Lena and I were watching them." Eva finished.

"I don't like sports cars; they're too hard to make out in." Caroline said to them but no one listened what she had said.

Matt (looking at Elena): "It wasn't that bad." Matt said to both Gilbert sisters and Elena looked at Matt a little uncomfortable. Caroline not liking what they have been talking left the garage. Elena and Eva went after her, to make her understand that Elena and Matt had past and memories which some were really good and happy.

"I'm sorry man." Matt said to Stefan after the girls left the garage.

"No, no, no. Don't worry about it. You and Elena, you guys have a history and ignoring it doesn't do anybody any good." Stefan explained to Matt. "And of course, Eva and Tyler have a past two, with good memories." The younger Salvatore said.

"She's good with you. You know, I wasn't sure but she's happy and I'm glad." Matt said looking up to Stefan. "Alright, let's take a look at this." The blond boy said.

"And Eva looks happy when she is with your brother." Tyler said happy that his ex-girlfriend was happy. "Can I help?" He asked them.

"Of course." Matt said to his friend.

Jenna was leaving the Grill when she broke her heel. Frederick that was close looked at her. He thought it was a great way to find some food and get information about Stefan and Damon Salvatore.

"Pick up your other foot." Frederick said to her and broke the other heel and gave it to Jenna. "Here you go." He said to her giving her the other heel.

"Was that Damon Salvatore you were with?" Frederick asked her causality.

"The one and only. You know him?" Jenna asked him surprised.

"We go way back. He still lives out by Miller Lane?" Frederick asked her hoping that she would tell him.

"He lives in the old Boarding House by Wickery Bridge." Jenna told him looking up at him. "He's still in there if you want to say hi." She suggested.

"I prefer to stay here and talk to you." Frederick said flirting with her.

"Oh, nice. Very smooth with the shoe and the flirt. But, I'm a little drunk and a guy plus drunk me equals very bad things." Jenna told him.

"I'm pretty sure you'd like it." Frederick said touching her face and tried to compel her.

"Sorry. That was a seriously lame pick up." Jenna said laughing.

"That is a nice scent you wear. What is it?" Frederick asked already knowing that Jenna had vervain.

"I don't know." She said laughing. "It was a gift. And that is a cab so…" Jenna said and got inside the cab and left.

"Vervain... is making it hard to find something to eat in this town." Frederick said when his girlfriend arrived behind and both watched Jenna leave.

Elena and Eva finally found Caroline at the front door of the Salvatore Boarding House, to talk with her.

"Caroline…" Elena started to talk with her.

"I don't want to talk about it." Caroline stated.

"You're being ridiculous." Elena told her because Caroline was being jealous over nothing.

"And insecure and stupid. But that doesn't change the fact that Matt's always gonna be in love with you and I'm always gonna be the backup." Caroline stated.

"You're not the back up." Elena said to her friend.

"Care, Matt likes you. He wouldn't be your boyfriend if he didn't like you." Eva said trying to reason with Caroline.

"Yes I'm. I'm Matt's Elena back up, I'm your Bonnie back up and I'm your Eva back up." Caroline said completely in hysteria.

"Now it's about me and Bonnie? And Eva and me?" Elena asked Caroline.

"Don't put me in this Caroline. Elena and I are twins. We know each other better than ourselves. So is normal for us being close than we are with you and Bonnie." Eva tried to make Caroline see the real things.

"Exactly. Eva and I are sisters. It always has been like this, what one of us is feeling the other feels too. You that." Elena said to her. "And because of that stop saying that you are the back up for everything." She told her firmly.

"You both don't get it. Why would you? You're everyone's first choice." Caroline said looking at the twins when they heard a car pulling at the front.

Stefan, Tyler and Matt pulled up in the Porsche at the front door while the girls were still talking. They got out of the car and went to them.

"Piece of cake!" Matt said and looked at Caroline.

"Yeah, this was easy." Tyler agreed with Matt.

"You know what? Why don't you guys go ahead and take it for a spin?" Stefan said giving the keys to Matt after seeing Caroline's face.

"Caroline?" Matt looked at his girlfriend.

"Go Care." Tyler said this time to Caroline. When she nodded they both got inside the car and left.

"You alright?" Stefan asked embracing Elena watching them leave.

"If it's not vampires, its girlfriends." Elena said to Stefan whispering. Then they both embraced each other while Eva and Tyler watched their friends leave too.

"Alright. Roast beef, turkey, what do you want?" Jeremy asked her.

"Okay." She agreed with him and turned to get the bread while Jeremy cut his hand with a knife. Anna turned to him once when she breathed the scent of fresh blood coming from Jeremy. "What are you doing?" She asked him worried.

"It's just a cut. Can you hand me that towel?" Jeremy asked her trying to sound normal.

"I can't." Anna told him looking up at him uncomfortable.

"You got a problem with blood Anna?" Jeremy asked her and showed her his bloody hand while he went towards her. "What's the matter? It's just blood, Anna." He said to her sarcastically while he tried to prove something.

"What are you doing?" Anna asked him after grabbing him by his neck and pushed him against the fridge. Still breathing the scent of the human blood, Anna's face started to change into her vampire face.

"I knew it." Jeremy stated and showed her his hand. "Go for it." He suggested to her while Anna took his hand and began to drink. When he heard Jenna entering the house, he rushed over to his aunt. "Jenna! Hey, what's up?" Jeremy asked her in a rush.

"Regret. Make sure you lock that up." Jenna ordered him and went upstairs to sleep while she went he looked around into the kitchen to see if Anna had stayed but she was gone. Then he looked at his hand and smiled. He finally proved that vampires existed.

Stefan's Car

Matt and Caroline, where still inside car driving around. He was trying to find the drive way of the Salvatore Boarding House.

"Did I just pass the driveway?" Matt asked her.

"Uh… No, I think it's up there." Caroline said pointing the location.

"This is an amazing car. Did I pass?" Matt asked her but Caroline doesn't understand what he was meaning. "The whole double date thing was obviously a test to see how I would do around Elena." Matt stated to her.

"I don't know. You were reminiscing about the Elena years the whole night so…" She said with an insecure voice.

"Caroline that stuff came before. It's not just gonna go away." Matt tried to explain.

"I know that okay? I know." Caroline said to him trying to convince herself.

"No, you don't. Because, you're letting Elena turn you into a crazy person. Look it's my fault. I made it pretty clear early on that Elena still means something to me. But all that talk, that was just two old friends and some memories. Tonight wasn't about me and Elena. I was there because I wanted to be with you. And I don't know what this means or what we are but I do know that you are the only person I want to be in this car with right now. And I don't even know if that makes sense because I'm not really that good at expressing myself." Matt explained to her to best he could. "Eva and Tyler broke up but they remained friends. They have a past two and from what I could see, Damon has feelings for Eva and he will need to understand that before he came Tyler and Eva were in a relationship and they have memories which both are fond off. Just like me and Elena. Stefan understood that and you need to understand too because I'm not gonna stop being friends with Elena." Matt told her too.

"I understand that, but sometimes is difficult and I think you're doing just fine expressing yourself." Caroline said to him. Then they laughed and kissed each other while at the same time Caroline hurt herself. "Sports cars…" She implied what she had said earlier.

"Yeah." Matt agreed with her and they kissed each other once again.

Damon and Kelly entered in the Boarding House. Damon made a drink, took a sip, and handed it to Matt's mother.

"Now that you've got me here." Kelly said while she drank the drink Damon made to her. "What are you gonna do with me?" Kelly asked him.

"I'm going to… going to do this." Damon told her and kissed her. Then he pushed her against the wall while they are kissing each other. Caroline and Matt entered the house and interrupted them.

"Mom?!" Matt asked her surprised seeing her with Damon.

"Damon?!" Caroline asked with the same tone Matt used.

"Oh my god, Matt! Oh my god." Kelly said completely embarrassed and took her things and left the house while Elena and Stefan arrived with Eva and Tyler.

"I got to…" Matt started to say to her.

"It's fine, just go." Caroline said to her boyfriend.

"I'll take her home." Tyler said to Matt.

"Thanks, man." Matt thanked to Stefan and gave him the keys and then turned to Tyler to thank him for taking Caroline home. "Thanks, Tyler." The he left the house after his mother while both twins, Caroline, Tyler and Stefan looking at Damon while he drank some more. What Damon didn't notice was the hurt look that Eva had on her face.

Anna was getting inside the house while she tried to be discreet but her mother, Pearl caught her.

"Where have you been?" Pearl asked her worried.

"I needed some air." Anna stated to her mother.

"For three hours? Tell me, where have you been?" Pearl asked once again to her daughter.

"Out, I was out." Anna continued saying the same thing.

"Annabelle, don't do this. I can't fight you too. What?" Pearl asked her more worried.

"I'm sorry." She apologized to her mother and then Pearl embraced her.

Eva was outside with Tyler talking. He saw the look of sadness and hurt on her face after seeing Damon with Matt's mother.

"I'm sorry you had to see that." Tyler told her.

"Why are you sorry?" Eva asked surprised by Tyler answer.

"Because I saw that you were hurt by Damon and Kelly's kiss." Tyler told her.

"I need to forget him. He only loves one woman and never will look at me." Eva said to Tyler opening up.

"I'm always here. If you need to talk sometime, I'm here." Tyler told her smiling which Eva nodded understanding.

"Bye Elena. Bye Eva." Caroline said getting inside the car.

"Bye Caroline. See you tomorrow." Eva told her smiling.

"Bye Care." Elena said while Stefan nodded to her and to Tyler.

"Bye girls." Tyler said to both girls and nodded to Stefan. Then Tyler and Caroline went to his car and left. Eva then decided to wait for her sister on their car while she said goodbye to Stefan.

Elena and Stefan walked out to her car. Eva was already waiting for Elena on the driver's side. Elena wanted to leave because she wanted to talk with her sister about what they had seen earlier. She wanted to make sure that Eva was alright.

"Sorry I'm bailing." Elena apologized to Stefan.

"Just wish you let me drive you home." Stefan told her with a worried face.

"Normal people don't have chaperones or bodyguards or baby-sitters. We're normal tonight, remember?" Elena asked him to see if he remembered.

"I know, but I just get so worry about you and about Eva, too." Stefan said to look deeply into her eyes.

"Stefan, I can't live every minute afraid that someone is gonna come after me. I won't, it's not living." Elena told him. "And I want to talk with Eva. She was hurt by Damon's attitude tonight with Kelly."

"Okay. Call me when you get home safe." Stefan said taking her face and kissed her deeply. Then he opened her car door for her and Elena got inside safely.

"Bye Stefan." Eva said to Stefan forcing a smile.

"Goodbye." Stefan said to them and closed the car door from Elena's side. Eva started the car and they left while Stefan watched them leaving and went back inside. The vampire that thought he saw Katherine and Danielle was watching Stefan while he was closing the door.

The Girls' Car

The girls were already on their way home when Elena decided to talk with Eva about what they saw tonight. She was really worried about Eva's growing feelings for Damon Salvatore.

"Are you alright?" Elena finally asked her sister.

"I'm fine." Eva sighed.

"You don't look fine." Elena said looking to her sister while she was driving.

"I know. I just need some time just to organize my thoughts in my head and then we can talk, alright?" Eva asked her sister. Elena nodded and they continued home in silence, each one with their own thoughts.

Damon was in the living room when Stefan arrived and looked at him. Damon was still nursing his drink.

"Don't look at me like that." Damon told his brother not wanting to hear him.

"Are you crazy?" Stefan asked his brother about Kelly.

"Save the lecture. Look…" Damon said and prepared to tell him about the tomb vampires were on the loose.

Beth-Anne, Damon, Frederick and Stefan

All of the sudden, Frederick jumped through the window and jumped on Stefan and stabbed him with a piece of glass. Damon pushed him off Stefan and started fighting with Frederick to help his brother and himself. Stefan watching the fight removed the piece of glass from his stomach. Beth-Anne arrived to help her boyfriend and began to fight with Stefan. She pushed him to the floor where he took the leg off a wooden chair and stabbed her in the heart. While at the same time Damon sent Frederick across the living room. Frederick looked from Damon at Stefan and then looked at Beth-Anne, who was dead, and then he left in hurry. Stefan looked at Damon waiting for an explanation for that.

"Damn it." Damon swore irritated that the vampire got away.

"I remember them from 1864. They were in the tomb." Stefan said remembering them.

"Yeah... About that…" Damon said and they looked at each other.

Donavan's House

Matt was going into the living room with Kelly going after him. She was trying to explain to him what happened.

"Matt… Matt..." Kelly called after him.

"I don't want to hear it, mom." Matt said pissed at her.

"Matty, please…" Kelly pleaded with her son to hear her.

"Do you know what I was doing tonight, Mom? I was having fun, you know, trying to forget about all the crap that I have to deal with every day. Just enjoying a night with my friends. And then, there you are, wasted at the bar, where I work, by the way, to pay the bills that you don't pay. And then you're off acting like a freakin' kid, hooking up with some guy half your age and that guy is in some kind relationship with Eva, one of my friends, the daughter of your best friend and twin sister of my ex-girlfriend which is my friend too. I'm the kid, Mom. You're supposed to be responsible for me." Matt said to his mother pissed off with her.

"I know Matt." Kelly agreed with her son. Then he looked at her and left.

Elena was in the bathroom, she was brushing her teeth when Jeremy arrived. She was going to talk with her twin, hoping that she wanted to talk now.

"How was your night?" Elena asked her brother trying to make some conversation.

"Ah... Same old. Same old... You and Eva?" Jeremy asked her trying the same thing that her sister was trying.

"Yep." Elena agreed with him. "I'm going to talk with Eva. Do you wanna come?"

"No. I'm gonna sleep. God night 'Lena." Jeremy said to Elena.

"You too." Elena said goodbye to her brother and went to her sister's room.

Eva was already ready to sleep when she decided to organize her thoughts with a song, like always. Writing really helped her with that. This song was about everything that was happening around her, her birth mother and her feelings about Damon. So she decided to call the song has Better in Time (A.N.: This songs belongs to Leona Lewis, I'm only using for my OC), because in time everything will get better.

When she finished the song she felt so much better. Then she put her song book on her bed side table when she heard her sister knocking on the door.

Elena popped her head into her sister room and looked at her. Eva smiled at Elena and patted her hand on her bed for Elena to join her. Elena hugged her sister and then both went to bed to talk. Eva told her everything she was feeling, her doubts and fears, her new friendship with Tyler that they were building. Both sisters feel asleep in bed together like they always did when they were children.

Pearl was taking a bottle of blood from the fridge for her to drink when Frederick arrived from the Salvatore Boarding House.

"So, where is Beth-Anne?" Pearl asked Frederick.

"She won't be coming back." Frederick stated.

"What happened? Where is she?" Pearl asked already knowing the answer.

"Well, you were right." He said to Pearl and then he looked at Anna. "We shouldn't have left." He finally agreed.

"No. Hungry?" Pearl asked him while he was still looking at Anna. Pearl started to pouring blood in a glass. She took the glass and a wooden spoon, and then she held the glass to Frederick and stabbed him with the spoon. In the end, she put down the glass and threw the spoon in the sink. She sat down and poured blood in a glass. "Next time you'll listen to me." Pearl ordered to Frederick while Anna smiled and looked at Frederick.

Elena was on the phone with Stefan. Eva fell asleep with her but when Elena woke up to drink some water she remembered that she needed to talk with Stefan.

"I'm home, teeth brushed, and ready for bed. Save and sound." Elena said into the phone.

"Good, good. I'm glad." Stefan said to her.

"Is everything alright? You sound serious." Elena asked her boyfriend worried.

"No, no, no, no. Not tonight, you still have a few minutes left of normal. I'll tell you about it tomorrow okay?" Stefan said to her remembering about their earlier talk.

"I had a really nice time on our date tonight." She said to him smiling.

"Such a liar." Stefan said to her teasing.

"No, I'm serious. In a way it was exactly what it was supposed to be." Elena said to him smiling once again.

"I had a really nice time too." Stefan confessed and after saying goodbye they hang up the phone.

"Could you help me out a little bit?" Damon asked him.

When Jeremy entered his bedroom, Anna was there waiting for him and he sees her there he got scared.

"What the hell?" Jeremy asked with fear not expecting to see Anna in his room.

"I could have killed you!" Anna said mad at him.

"Yeah, but you didn't." Jeremy simply told her.

"I should have." Anna said to him because she knew it was difficult to resist sometimes to the human blood.

"But you didn't." Jeremy said once again.

"How did you know?" Anna asked with curiosity.

"I knew this girl. Vicki. She was attacked by an animal, a bite to the neck." Jeremy started to explain to her. "Then Vicki started acting crazy, weird, and it seemed like drugs, but then you showed me those articles and then I saw your face and how it changed the night in the cemetery when I kissed you." He finished.

"You know you can't tell anyone, right?" Anna pleaded to him.

"Who would believe me?" Jeremy asked really not knowing the history of his town.

"You'd be surprised." She simply stated.

"Why didn't you kill me?" Jeremy asked her with curiosity in his voice.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm a sucker for guys like you." Anna said to him really not knowing what to say.

"Like what?" He asked her with the same tone of curiosity.

"Lost. Why would you confront me about it? Why would you risk it?" Anna asked him hoping he wouldn't lie to her about the real reason.

"Because if it was true, maybe it's true about Vicki. And also because... I want you to turn me." He asked her leaving her with a surprised face.
