Kurt woke the next morning with a small headache. Luckily he had had the foresight to close the blinds the night before when he had went into the guestroom to sleep off the alcohol. He smiled at the memories that came flooding back into his mind of the previous evening's events. He especially replayed his last encounter with Sebastian before they had parted ways. Kurt softly touched his lips at the memory before grabbing his phone off the nightstand to check the time.

7:30 A.M., Not too bad since he had drank the night before. Kurt had always had trouble sleeping but had noticed that alcohol helped him immensely. Not that he would use it as a permanent solution, he usually cleared his mind before bed and relaxed his muscles, starting with his toes and working upwards. He was usually out for the night before he got to his shoulders unless it had been an eventful day and he couldn't fully relax.

Kurt grabbed his overnight bag and stepped into the en suite bathroom to clean up and get the feeling of cotton out of his mouth. 30 minutes later, after a quick shower and a thorough brushing of his teeth, he felt ready for the new day. As he finished putting his things into his bag to take downstairs, there was a soft knock at his door, alerting him to someone on the other side.

Kurt padded across the plush carpeted floor and opened the door to reveal Sebastian leaning against the door frame with a soft smile on his face. Kurt motioned for him to come in while he sat on the bed to tie his shoes. Sebastian sat on the bed beside him, silently watching Kurt finishing getting dressed.

"Good-" "How-" They both started to speak at the same time before quietly laughing and smiling at each other and looking at the floor. "This is silly" Kurt said, "We shouldn't be awkward around each other, I don't regret what we did last night" Kurt spoke with resolution.

"Neither do I, I was just worried you might have changed your mind in the interim". Kurt shook his head, "Good then. I promised a talk and I plan to keep it, do you mind if we do this downstairs though? I'd like to see if there's any coffee." Sebastian chuckled "A man after my own heart. I've had two cups already, I came by your room earlier but heard the shower running so I decided to help myself to Jeff's kitchen."

"He won't mind?" Sebastian shook his head as he got off the bed, offering his hand to Kurt to help him up. "Nah, Jeff's the most generous guy I know, he'd give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, besides, I've stayed here after parties before and usually fix breakfast for everyone the morning after to help with the hangovers. Would you like to help?"

Kurt nodded "Yeah, I'd like to thank him somehow for opening up his home to a total stranger last night, even if a cute, tall and dashing guy I know did put in a good word" Kurt joked. Sebastian laughed quietly as to not disturb the other teens who were still asleep as he swept his hand in the direction of the stairs, all the while his other was entwined with Kurt's, leading the way. Not that Kurt minded, quite the opposite in fact.

They quickly made their way downstairs and into the sleek and quite large kitchen. Kurt took a moment to really look around and appreciate the decor and colors in the ultra modern kitchen. His eyes met Sebastian's, watching him with interest as he waited for Kurt to finish his examination. Kurt leaned forward, a questioning look on his face as if asking for permission. Sebastian gave it to him by leaning the rest of the way and joining their lips in the middle. Sebastian had never believed in romantic cliches, but he did feel like his head was swimming and a tingle ran from his lips to his toes and back up again. Kurt stood on his tiptoes to gain better leverage and overcompensated, pushing them back into the counter where they continued their embrace for several seconds more. As they parted, Sebastian stared into Kurt's eyes and noticed how his pupils were blown wide open with lust. He was in no better of a condition as his erection that was trapped against his thigh proved but he was never one to complain, especially with such a beautiful example of man pressed against him.

They stared at each other for several seconds before Kurt pulled away gently with a wink and heading for the coffee pot to grab a cup. Sebastian came up behind Kurt when he noticed Kurt looking through the upper cabinets for a coffee mug and trapped him between the granite counter-top and himself as he reached upward, and opened a specific cabinet and grabbed a mug for Kurt. Kurt turned his head to smile at Sebastian and pecked him on the lips before taking the mug and pouring himself some. Sebastian had backed away to lean against the table while Kurt grabbed the milk out of the refrigerator and finished preparing his coffee. Kurt walked around the table and sat himself opposite to where Sebastian was standing and sipped his drink as Sebastian sat himself across from Kurt.

"So, I guess we need to start off by deciding what we want out of this Seb, I'm the relationship kind of guy and I say that because I know how a lot of guys are: they just want sex. I think that it needs to be special and something that connects two people together."

"I want the same Kurt, I want to be able to walk down the hallway with a boyfriend. You can't do that with a notch on some bedpost. I tried that whole "one night stand" and felt awful every time. What I'm trying to say is that if you'll let me, I want us to be boyfriends. I know that we've only known each other a little while but I've never had a connection like this with anyone else."

Kurt reached across the table and grabbed Sebastian's hand, lightly brushing his thumb over the top of Sebastian's knuckles. "I'm not one to rush headlong into things Seb, I tend to over-think things if I'm being honest. I don't want to jump into anything without thinking about it and then six months down the road not even know the guy I agreed to date."

Sebastian looked down towards the table, trying to swallow his disappointment before felt Kurt's finger lift his face to look at him. "I never said I didn't want to risk it though." And with that Kurt put his hand behind Sebastian's head and pulled them together into a kiss over the table.

The kiss was getting heated when they heard a throat being cleared from the kitchen doorway. They broke apart and looked to see Jeff standing there with a grin on his face.

"So...I was right. I knew there was something going on." Jeff said with that infernal grin still plastered across his lively face.

"Good morning Jeff, sleep well?" Sebastian asked with a calm expression and the hint of a smile ghosting across his face. Jeff nodded and walked to the coffee pot to grab himself some before seating himself at the head of the table as to look at both of the other occupants of the room.

"Did I interrupt something boys?" Jeff asked cheekily as Kurt rolled his eyes and Sebastian playfully tapped Jeff's shoulder. They didn't answer him as Kurt drained the last of his coffee and got up to wash the mug in the sink. "So, I'm going to help Seb cook breakfast this morning, would you like anything specifically?"

"Pancakes?" Jeff asked with eagerness that made him almost bounce in his seat. Kurt giggled and said "Yes sir, coming right up" with a flourish of a whisk that Sebastian had just handed him. "I just wanted to say thanks again for last night Jeff, it was fun getting to know so many new people!" Kurt was stirring batter in a large bowl while talking to Jeff as Sebastian was heating a griddle for their breakfast. Jeff simply waved away his appreciation. "It's no big deal, and besides, you forget that we got to meet you too. Now I know why Seb wouldn't shut up about you all week leading up to this shindig" Kurt looked over at Seb, noticing a small blush gracing his features and Kurt lightly bumped their hips together, playfully grabbing Sebastian's attention.

"Well, I'm just glad he had something else to talk about other than that dreadful rugby he loves so much." Kurt joked as Jeff sent him a playful scowl. "Jeff's on the team too Kurt, I think he's the only guy on the team other than myself who is so passionate about it" Sebastian joked. Kurt laughed as he poured batter on the griddle before asking "I thought that rugby was more of a British sport? Does Dalton have any other team sports?"

"Yeah it is, but it seems to be popular with private schools and we only formed a team thirteen years ago when some of the alumni had come back from overseas education in the United Kingdom. They played it during their summers and had fallen in love with it. As for your other question, yeah we have the typical American sports: baseball, basketball and football but we have others as well. We have lacrosse, rugby as you already know, and we even have a bowling and a swim team although they don't compete, it's more of a training program for students wanting to hone their skills their senior year before heading out to colleges where they might get spots on the teams. The bowling team just plays for fun." Jeff explained as he sipped his drink. "My dad and I used to go bowling with his work buddies once a week when I was young, I never really liked it but I think it was a way for us to be close after my mom died" Kurt said as Jeff and Sebastian's expressions softened.

"Are you and your dad close Kurt?" Jeff asked as Kurt finished several pancakes and placed them on a plate for Jeff. "Yeah, It's been a little strained since I started high school but we're getting closer again. He's the best dad ever in my opinion but I think my opinion might be a little biased." Kurt presented the plate to Jeff as he began another batch for the next group of guys who came in, groggy and clutching their heads like they were afraid their brains would leak out if they moved them even in the slightest.

Jeff pointed to a cabinet by the sink, "there's aspirin in there if any of you guys need it" Jeff joked as most just mumbled what could have been a thank you before making a beeline for it.

45 minutes later, most of the boys from last night were well fed and joking around, having given the aspirin time to work its magic while the late sleepers were still shuffling in one or two at a time. Kurt and Sebastian had cooked up a storm and had eaten as well before walking outside to take in the morning air and work off some of the calories they had consumed with a walk around the garden. Kurt took his time, enjoying the different species of bush and flowers that had been carefully placed around them by expert gardeners as they walked and talked about nothing of consequence. Sebastian watched as Kurt found his way towards an impressive rose bush and had leaned forward to smell the flowers' sweet scent.

Sebastian had never met a man quite like Kurt Hummel. He had had one or two late night encounters with boys at Dalton over the last few years and had even had a short relationship the year before with a Spanish exchange student Named Josef but they hadn't been serious about it, only wanting someone to spend their time with on slow nights without the pressure of trying to find that serious relationship that they knew neither filled the role in. The relationship had ended when Josef had moved back to Spain at the end of the last school year but they still kept in touch through Skype and email. Recently this had become a rarity as Josef had found what he believed was 'The One' but Sebastian was happy for him and hoped him all the happiness in the world.

Sebastian didn't realize he had been lost in thought until he felt Kurt's hand on his shoulder. "Everything alright?" Kurt questioned with an amused yet concerned expression, as if worried Sebastian might think he was prying. Sebastian nodded and smiled and closed the short distance to capture Kurt's lip in a small peck.

"I'm fine, do you know what time it is? I need to head to my parent's house for lunch with them and I'd like to get cleaned up a little first." Kurt pulled his cellphone out of his skinny jeans and checked the time. "It's 10:18, we should walk back up the house I suppose." They made their way inside and into the kitchen. "Hey guys I need to get going, I'll see you all at school Monday. Jeff, It was a great time like always." Sebastian paused as he surveyed the room "wait, where's Blaine?"

"He must have left last night, I went to his room this morning and the bed hadn't been slept in and his car is gone. He didn't drink last night though, only soda" Jeff said with a shrug.

"I'll text him later and see if everything's alright." Sebastian said, concerned for his friend. "Guys, I think I need to get going as well, I have some things to do at my dad's garage today." Kurt had made an agreement with Burt that since Burt was spending so much for Dalton, that Kurt would come in to the shop on Saturdays and do administrative duties. Things like filing, answering the phone, and greeting customers when they brought their vehicles in.

He received a chorus of 'Bye!' and 'See you around Dalton!' from the guys and Kurt felt something that he rarely got to experience: acceptance. He smiled at the guys and grabbed his bag by the entryway to the kitchen. Sebastian grabbed his hand and they walked outside to Kurt's Navigator. "Call me later?" Sebastian asked as his absent-mindlessly stroked the back of Kurt's hand with his thumb. Kurt nodded and smiled before pecking his now-boyfriend on the lips and letting go. "Bye Seb." Kurt said. "Bye, I'll talk to you later and see you Monday." Sebastian said as he backed away before walking over to a sleek black sedan and leaving with a wave back to Kurt. Kurt got into his car and began his journey back to Lima. He reached Hummel's Tire and Lube about 45 minutes later, after having stopped at the gas station to fill up his SUV and to get his dad his favorite morning food: a blueberry muffin. He pulled into the side parking lot of his father's business that was reserved only for the staff before parking and stepping out into the warm morning.

He met his father in the office and gave him his food, receiving a pleased "thanks, Kurt" from his dad. Kurt set out for a long day at the office as he watched his dad and the others work in the garage when he looked up from his work. He had indeed kept his promise to call Sebastian and they had spoke at length after Sebastian had returned from his lunch with his parents. Kurt overall had a wonderful day as he waited for Monday to roll around to start his first day at Dalton Academy.
