Rachel looked at Finn and her Dads, before looking back at Katy, a scowl on her face.

'No, I fricking well didn't!' she answered Finn, glaring daggers at Katy. 'She's trying to wind you up. Cause doubts in your head'. Katy laughed and shook her head.

'Listen to her, trying to save her own skin' Katy taunted. Rachel shook her head, looking at Finn, who was looking torn. She rushed over to him, locking their eyes together and gripping his forearms.

'I swear to you, Finn! On my life, I didn't have a drink. Why would I risk everything with you for one stupid drink?' Rachel questioned. Finn looked at her, his eyes slightly watery.

'I want to believe you, babe! I do, but... She's just described how you used to take a drink'

'FINN, I SWEAR! I didn't haven't a drink... She only knows how I take my drink because, a few months before Ryan's death and we all went out for a drink!' Rachel said, making sure she didn't loose eye contact with Finn. He looked at her, like really looked at her and saw she was telling the truth. He pulled her in for a hug, glaring at Katy as he did.

'Oh please, you're believing that little alcoholic over me?' Katy shrieked

'OI! Watch it! You're lucky I'm calm about this!' Finn said, holding Rachel tighter, while Katy chuckled

'Oh what would you do?'

'I wouldn't do anything to you, because you're a woman and you-'

'You're trying to split us up!' Rachel suddenly said, making Katy and Finn look at her.

'Excuse me?' asked Katy, but Rachel saw some fire go out of her eyes.

'You're jealous because of what me and Finn have... You lost Ryan. I get them, I lost him too. He's was my brother, but Katy... You're young. I know you loved him... but, life goes one whether we like it or not...'

'Is that supposed to make me feel better?' Katy hissed, picking up the wine bottle.

'Katy, look... You want to punish me because you blame me for Ryan's death... But turning my family against me won't work. Not after everything we've been through' Rachel said, looking at Katy, who was slowly backing down from the argument.

'Erm... Why does she blame you?' Finn interjected

'Because the day Ryan died, he was coming to surprise me. Wanted to spend his birthday with me, but he never made it... Thanks to a drunk driver' said Rachel, looking at Finn over her shoulder. She was surprised when Katy suddenly let a cry erupt from her throat. Katy hit the floor, making Rachel rush to her side and wrap her arms round the girl.

'I lost him! I lost him and you have everything! You always get everything! I didn't even get to say goodbye. The last words he said to me were 'See you later, baby' and then I get a call form his Mom saying he was dead!' Katy cried, her body wracking with sobs. Finn, LeRoy and Hiram slowly left the room, knowing that they should give the girl some privacy.

'Has Katy grieved for Ryan yet?' Finn asked LeRoy as they walked down the stairs and into the living room.

'By the way she broke down then, I'm guessing not!'

'How can she blame Rachel though? She didn't know Ryan was on his way or that he was going to get killed' Finn questioned, smiling his thanks as Hiram handed him a soda.

'Guess she couldn't accept the fact that he was gone. Especially because it wasn't to be expected and so out of the blue, I guess she just held on to the fact that he was still alive and was visiting us...'

'How do yo mean?' asked Finn, slightly confused

'Well... Hypothetically, if you lost Rachel tomorrow... How would you react?' asked LeRoy, nearly making Finn splutter on his drink.

'I'd kill myself and join her' Finn answered, without hesitation, making LeRoy and Hiram raise an eyebrow at his answer. 'What? Finn questioned 'Rachel's my life. I'd kill for her if I had too'

'I knew there was a reason he was right for our daughter' LeRoy said to Hiram, making Finn smile...

Half an hour later, Rachel sat entered the living room, after grabbing a soda from the kitchen, noticing her Dads weren't in the room.

'Finn? Where are my Dads?' she asked, as Finn turned head to acknowledge her.

'They've gone to get a take out. I said I'd stay here, in case you needed me' he said, wrapping his arms round Rachel's waist as she sat in his lap.

'Aww, aren't you sweet? But, I'm a big girl, I can't take care of myself' Rachel chuckled

'I know, but I also want some time alone with you' he said, his voice turning low and husky. Rachel smiled and made a noise of approval in her throat as Finn's lips connected with hers. She wrapped her arm round his neck, before climbing off his lap.

'Babe!' Finn argued, but shut his mouth as he saw her smirk. She straddled him and connected their lips, her hands going straight his letterman jacket. He shrugged it off and she flung it behind her. She felt Finn's hands on her thighs and she wrapped them around his waist, as he stood up. He head to the sofa and sat down.

'Why did you move?' Rachel asked between kisses. Finn pulled away, a skeptical look on his face.

'You really want me to answer that right now?' he asked, his voice husky. Rachel shook her head and he connected their lips again roughly. He turned her, so he could lay her down on the sofa. Things heated up and they failed to hear Rachel's bedroom door being opened, until a loud cough interupted them, making them break apart.

'Katy! Erm.. sorry' Rachel said, clearing her throat and sliding out from under Finn. 'You okay?' she asked, smoothing down her hair.

'Yeah.. erm, listen I'm going to go... Thank you for listening to me and I'm truly sorry about trying to set you up! I guess I just need to confront my fears and grieve for him, instead of wishing on a star' Katy said, smiling slightly at Rachel, who nodded.

'If you need to talk, I'm here. Anytime about anything' she said, making Katy smile.

'Thank you Rachel. I know you may not believe after what I tried to do, but I truly am sorry... Guess I just couldn't let him go' Katy said, looking down a the floor.

'Hey, Ryan will always be in your heart.. No matter who comes along, he will always be your first love' Rachel said. Katy looked at her and smiled, nodding.

'Yeah, true!' she said, before sniffling and taking a deep breath. 'I'm gonna go, so you two can get back to... canoodling or whatever you guys call it' Katy said, making Rachel giggle.

'See you, Katy'

'Bye, guys' Katy said, before she opened the door and heading out. After watching her go, Rachel closed the door and turned back to Finn, who had an unreadable expression on his face.

'What/' she questioned

'You're too soft' Finn said, his arms crossed

'Huh? How am I?' Rachel asked, mirroring his stance.

'You forgive people too easily, why?' he asked, knowing if he was in Rachel's shoes, Katy would've been out of the door the second he saw her in Rachel's room.

'Guess life is too short to hold grudges... Plus, I know Ryan wouldn't like it, so...' Rachel trailed off, shrugging her shoulders. Finn sighed softly and pulled her in for hug.

'I'm sorry, for earlier... For doubting you. I truly am' he said, making Rachel pull away from the hug. She looked up at him, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

'That's your apology?' she questioned, raising an eyebrow. Finn, however, looked confused.

'Erm... I'm very sorry... I love you?' he tried again, making Rachel roll her eyes and head for the stairs, Finn frowning as his eyes followed her. She stopped when she realised he wasn't following her.

'I want you to beg for my forgiveness, Finn... And I mean beg' she said, putting emphasis on the word 'beg' and looking over her shoulder at him, throwing him a sexy look, which got him moving fast. He followed her giggles into her room, the door slamming shut, the sounds of Rachel's giggles being silenced by Finn's lips...
