Alistair looked at the evidence before him a satisfied smile on his face. Trident had made a mistake. After all those years he had lost control. Seven of the victims were well known scumbags but the victims found in the alley were all from cases Vega and Miller worked on. Meaning that whoever the killer is is someone close to them. All those years hunting the Abominations and Trident made the mistake of making an emotional kill. Those murders were fueled by rage and if he made that mistake he might have made another. He stood up and headed to the M.E's office making sure that no one was inside before he entered. He walked over to the freezers and opened the drawers one by one. It wasn't until the third drawer that he found what he was looking for. The body inside was relatively unscathed apart from multiple stab wounds to the torso. The body was in good condition considering that the others were in pieces.

Alistair removed a small case from his pocket and retrieved two probes from it. The probes were three inches in length with a small bulb at the end. He pushed the probes into the brain at the appropriate positions and the green liquid in the bulbs was released into the dead man's head. He removed a third probe and injected it into the base of his skull the blue liquid seeping into his brain. Closing his eyes, he muttered the correct incantation and the probes glowed a dull green before he was thrust into the man's last moments.

The memory was a bit hazy due to the length of time that had passed but he searched on hoping to find what he was looking for before the victim's brain was turned to mush by the spell. He was at it for a few minutes, the images passing too fast due to the speed of the attack, when he saw it. It was the silhouette of a person. Looking closer it appeared to be a girl or a woman. She appeared to be between five feet five inches and five feet nine inches, with a slim build. Before he could see anything else, he was yanked out of the memory and back into reality.

He saw the probes in the body glowing a dull red and new that the brain had been liquefied. He removed the probe in his own head the potion ensuring that there would be no wound or any other after-effects of having the probe in your brain. He removed the other two and returned them to their case just in time because the M.E walked in a few seconds after. "Agent Simmons, what are you doing in here?"

Alistair gave her a fake smile, "I was just checking up on something for the investigation."

"Okay." Callie said eyeing the man suspiciously. "Find what you were looking for?"

Alistair closed the drawer and turned to the doctor. "Not quite but it'll be enough. Good day doctor." He exited the room and headed to his assigned desk which was located at a corner of the room with a complete view of the room but affording him enough privacy. Sitting down, he opened his laptop and waved his hand over it muttering another incantation. The device turned on and he went through the photos of everyone who was close to the two detectives and all those who worked at the station. He eliminated all the males before he eliminated all the female officers seeing as all of them had alibis. He then eliminated all those who didn't match the killer's body type and was left with three possible matches. Gary's sister and his girlfriend and David's youngest daughter all matched the description and he had a suspicion as to who it might be. Looking around he saw David Vega exiting the station in quite a hurry. His suspicions strengthened, it was time for him to set his trap.

Jade West lay on her bed deep in thought. She had declined hanging out with her friends after school due to a certain Latina. Tori had disappeared with that Emily chick after school and she had a bad feeling about it. Too much had happened in the past two days and she needed answers and the only person who could provide them was Tori. After battling with herself for fifteen minutes Jade got off her bed and grabbed her jacket and car keys before walking downstairs. "Mercy, I'm going out for a while." Jade said as she poked her head into the living room.

The blonde woman raised her head from the documents in front of her, "where are you off to?"

"I'm going to visit a friend." Jade replied. Mercy may not be her real mom but she was there for her when her father wasn't. She spent most of her time working but she would try to spend time with the Goth and Jade decided long ago that the least she could do was be civil with the woman.

"Okay, please don't stay out too late."

Jade nodded, "I'll try." She gave the older woman a small smile before she walked out the house and into her car. She drove in silence until she reached the Vega residence. Before she could shut the car off, she saw her target walk out the door. Jade watched as the Latina got into her mother's car and sped off Jade hot on her trail.

She turned on the radio and listened to a news report on a killer who had appeared in L.A. She was intrigued by the killer especially their weapon of choice, a double bladed knife and the fact that he killed criminals. She followed her target for almost half an hour before Tori stopped at a suburb. Jade parked a few meters away and watched her target exit the vehicle and walk to one of the houses.

Jade followed her and hid behind some bushes. Tori reached the door and looked around before she twisted the doorknob. Jade heard a squeal as if metal was being twisted and then saw the door swing open slowly. Tori walked inside and closed the door behind her.

Jade stood behind the bushes for a few minutes as even more questions raced through her mind. Did Tori just break into someone's house and why would she do it in the first place? Figuring that things had gone too far, She reached into her pocket intent on contacting Tori's parents but like before, she thought of Tori getting into trouble and decided against it. Notifying the police could bring up the case of the murder they didn't report that could cause more problems. Instead, she would go into the house and talk to the little criminal and find out what was wrong with her. No sooner had the thought crossed her mind, than she heard a muffled yell and then the sound of glass shattering. Thinking that the Latina might be in trouble, she ran into the house removing her scissors from her boot and stopped at the living room. She listened carefully and heard scuffling coming from upstairs. Being as quiet as she could be, she raced upstairs and saw a large vase smashed and things strewn around. She heard a groan coming from the partially opened door at the end of the hallway and she stealthily headed towards it.

Opening the door slowly, she stopped in her tracks at the sight before her. Instead of finding her friend in trouble, she saw a man tied to a chair with blood running down his face from a large gash on his head. "Please, help me." He moaned when he spotted the Goth standing at the door. Before she could even think about what she was doing, Jade rushed into the room. She was a few steps into the room when something plowed into her side shattering her right arm sending her flying into the wall.

"Well what do we have here?" A familiar voice asked. Jade still dazed from the blow looked up and saw Tori Vega standing in front of her. "Jade?" Tori looked at her a dangerous glint in her eyes, "What the hell, I could have killed you. How did you even sneak up on me?"

Jade grunted in pain, "I thought you were in trouble." She tried to move to a sitting position but winced as a sharp pain shot through her arm.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Tori warned as she went to stand beside the bound man. "That arm is broken if you move it will hurt even worse."

"What are you doing Tori?" Jade asked through gritted teeth. None of this made sense. There was a beat up guy in the room, Tori had just hit her with the force of a small car and the Latina was standing there as calm as can be.

"Well isn't it obvious. Think back to what happened yesterday and what you are seeing now." Jade tried to think of what the girl was talking about but nothing came to mind apart from blinding pain. "Come on Jade, I know you're a smart girl." Still nothing popped out and Tori decided to give her a hand. She walked closer to Jade and seemingly removed a weird looking knife out of thin air. She held it in front of her and jade stared at it noting how long it was and the two blades sitting side by side before everything clicked.

The murders on the radio, all the victims killed with a weapon of the same description. Tori coming to her house covered in blood. Suddenly it all made sense. "You're the killer." Jade said in a low voice.

Emily entered the Vega household to find them lying on the ground, unconscious, with the exception of Tori who was missing. She rushed to Holly's side and shook her roughly. "Holly, where's Tori?" The older woman groaned as she slowly regained consciousness. She blinked her eyes slowly before she sat up straight as her memory came back to her.

"Tori's gone." Standing up unsteadily, she walked over to her husband and checked to see if he was okay.

"What happened?"

Holly looked up at Emily tears in her eyes, "David came and told us about the murders and how long Tori has been killing but when we questioned her she said she didn't know what we were talking about. We tried to tell her that we needed to restrain her until she got control of her other side but she wouldn't listen and when she heard about the brotherhood's arrival, she just went off. She turned, knocked us out and that's the last thing I remember."

"I can't reach the sentries so she must have knocked them out too. Wait a minute, David told you that Tori has been killing for how long?" Emily asked.

Holly nodded and looked at her unconscious husband, "He said that the murders go back eighteen months, even before we regained our memories."

"That doesn't make sense." Emily said as she knelt down next to the older woman. "This was Tori's first and only episode since your powers were bound and your memories erased. There are no other murders or we would have known about them."

"So what does this mean?"

"It means that someone else is trying to manipulate things and that things are about to get a lot worse."

"How did you sneak up on me?" Tori asked the girl kneeling in front of her. "I sensed that I was being followed but I sensed a magical aura around my pursuer. You don't have a magical aura so how did I not sense you?"

"What are you talking about?" Jade asked confused by the girl's statement. She winced in pain as she moved to lean against the wall. "What is going on Tori?"

Tori walked to stand behind the bound man and grabbed his hair roughly. "This is Ian, say hi Ian, he is a very bad person. You see Ian and his friends abduct people and sell them to the highest bidder. I came here to find out who and where his friends are and then I am going to kill him."

"What do you mean? Tori you can't kill him?" Jade said her voice full of fear and pain. Who was this girl standing in front of her because the Tori she knew would never hurt anybody.

"Why not Jade?" Tori walked over and knelt next to the Goth, "Because I'm sweet sally peaches? Because Tori Vega would never hurt a fly let alone kill a man." Tori stroked Jade's cheek softly before she leaned forward and whispered into her ear. "You have no idea what I am capable of."

Tori stood back up and walked over to stand in front of Ian. She placed her hand on his head and a second later he screamed in agony. The screaming lasted for half a minute before Tori drove the knife through his heart. She turned to Jade who was frozen in terror, "So tell me Jade, how did you manage to mask yourself from me?"

"She didn't." A voice said before a large sword was thrust into Tori's back. "I did." Alistair twisted the blade and pushed the blade until it was buried to the hilt. He removed the sword and Tori fell to the ground unmoving.
