I must say, I have some amazing readers, and I enjoy the reviews I have had. I hope you continue to like my fan fiction, and I might add some additional characters down the road, who knows. I'm pretty excited about writing this, and didn't know that what I write could be so liked. Anyways, I won't try to bore you too much, so I will continue on with my story. Enjoy!
Meg chose a gorgeous pink gown for Christine, while she chose a regular gray dress for herself for tonight. Christine loved the dress Meg had chosen for her to wear, but didn't think Meg should wear such a bland color. "Meg, why did you choose a grey dress to wear tonight? You could have chosen to wear a brighter color," she said.
"I don't mind wearing gray clothing," Meg replied with a soft laugh. "I just want you to have the prettier dress tonight." Meg smiled at Christine, and spun her friend around slowly, "You look lovely tonight Christine. Let's go now so I can meet Erik." With that, Christine led the way to her room, where she would have Erik and Meg meet.
Meg asked with slight concern, "Is this the place where you two always meet?" Meg was always concerned about Christine ever since the two had become friends. "You told me he had revealed himself to you, but where did he reveal himself to you at? I had always assumed he ran into you in the corridor."
Christine smiled softly to Meg, "He revealed himself to me in my mirror in my room. My room has a secret passageway to where he lives. I guess when I was put in this room your mother didn't realize there was a secret passageway in here, or she probably wouldn't have made this room my room. It just so happens that the passageway is right across from my mirror, and I didn't know about it either until the night he had revealed himself to me."
"Oh, Christine," Meg said, "I wish you two could have met elsewhere. For one, him meeting you through a secret passageway in your room is strange and creepy, and two, it doesn't sound romantic at all." Meg did have a way with words. Christine blushed to the statement, realizing she had never thought of it that way before. Leave it to Meg to point out the obvious.
Christine giggled softly, and Meg followed suit. "I never thought of it that way," Christine said when she had stopped giggling. Anyways, Erik should be here shortly." They sat and talked for a while waiting for Erik to arrive. A few minutes later they hear soft footsteps approaching from the direction opposite of Christine's mirror. "I believe this is him," she told Meg.
Erik appeared a moment later, wearing a silver cloak and a white shirt. Christine wondered how he managed not to ruin his outfits, as well as where he got the outfits that he wore. The girls stood up as Erik approached them, and Christine jumped in to introduce them to one another. "Meg, this is Erik, and Erik, this is my best friend Meg," she said with a smile. She noticed the two smiling politely in greeting to each other.
Meg spoke first, "It is nice to get to meet you finally Erik sir," she said with a smile. Before Christine could stop her she said, "You know, I believe Christine is falling head over heels in love with you." Christine just blushed and looked down at her feet while Erik chuckled a bit.
"It's a pleasure meeting you as well Meg mademoiselle," Erik replied with a bow. "So, apparently you believe Christine is falling head over heels in love with me. Well, I may be falling head over heels for a particular someone as well," he said while smiling at Christine. Christine looked up at that statement and blushed a little bit more. "I hope I am not embarrassing you my dear."
Christine smiled softly, "I don't want to say I'm falling head over heels in love with you Erik, but there is a big possibility that is exactly what may be happening. I do know I like you." Christine looked at her best friend. "Meg, why did you have to say that out loud?" Both Meg and Erik chuckled at that.
"I thought he might be interested in knowing what I believe you feel towards him. I see great admiration when you and I are in conversation about him, and I see the way you look at him." Meg smiled, "and he gives you the same look, so don't worry about it Christine." Meg gave Christine a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "So, Erik, what do you think about the dress I picked out for Christine to wear tonight?"
Erik smiled gently, "I think it was a good choice mademoiselle; she looks beautiful," he said sincerely. "Though I do admit, I haven't thought she looked any less beautiful in anything else she has worn, but that pink does look good on Christine." Christine blushed slightly, and smiled softly.
The three stayed in Christine's room for the night chatting with each other. Erik and Meg seemed to get along, to Christine's pure joy. About ten-thirty that night, they were finally ready to go to bed. Erik stood up, "Tonight was a pleasure Mademoiselles, but I must not keep either of you up much longer. I know you both have a long day ahead of you and need rest. Rest well and Christine, I may see you tomorrow," Erik said while taking her smooth hand and lightly planting a kiss on her hand. He then stood up and left for the night. The two girls then said goodnight to one another, and Meg headed towards her room for the night.
