Update at the top of the chapter? WHAT IS THIS MADNESS!? Hey, I'm back. Sorry for being gone for so long. Some of you who messaged me might know that I had been injured a while ago and had to go through surgery. It left me unable to type at a productive speed for a while. Then I had to do the makeup work and whatnot. Life's hard, but we persevere! If something like that's happens again, I will temporally put up a chapter noting my leave.

Also, I made a new League account we can play on together! Yay. I will put the name under my profile and on the first chapter of all my new stories when it is a higher level. I'd say I'm probably around a bronze 3 skill level at support and not as good at other lanes.

So yeah…read the story now.

Chapter 5

Sky continued to watch the live video that played in front of him. Jinx had just finished blowing up her laning partner Taric as she turned her attention onto the forest around her. Where one lush trees flourished only smoke and fire remained.

"How is she able to destroy the landscape? And How was she able to kill her teammates?" Sky said.

"My analysis says that she could have been coded into the system improperly." Susan replied. The feed suddenly ended as the camera zoomed in for a close-up on the psychotic woman. "It appears the match had been discontinued. Should I see what's going on now?" She turned to see Sky already halfway out the door. "Where are you heading Sky?"

"I'm going to the summoning chambers. Jinx may start going on a rampage after being exposed to all that violence." He said in a mildly worried voice.

"Will your presence there really help?" The A.I. said in her slightly robotic voice.

"Either way it's my job to try, right?"

"It's your choice. Let's go." Her form shimmered as she floated to the doorway.

"Actually" said Sky "Could you check the computers in the area and update me on the info you find? I might have to change my schedule depending on how this all goes." She nodded in reply before disappearing into the computer across the room.

He sighed as he made his way to his destination. "Let's hope my guts wrong about this one."

Jinx awoke from the floor with a jump remembering what happened previously. They had been forced disconnected from the match before she had a chance to blow up anything else. Before standing up, she relaxed on her cold spot on the ground and remembered the fun she had just gone through. It had been a while since she caused so much destruction. As Jinx eventually got to her feet, she turned to see four robed summoners marching in a line towards her.

"Hello Jinx." The first summoner said with a monotone voice. "Your match seemed to go…"

"Amazing?" She yawned. "Yeah I am pretty awesome."

"More like disastrous." The second one in line speaks up. "Some of the spells failed on you. You gained the ability to injure teammates and destroy the map. We need to begin recasting them on you as soon as possible."

"Actually, I'll pass. It seems way more fun to keep it this way." She played with her still empty guns afterwards.

Tension filled in the room. "We are not asking you. When a command comes from one of us you listen regardless of how you feel. We are your superiors, and as such-" -ZAP-

The three summoners looked behind them at the person lying on the floor. His body was still shaking violently as he choked for air. "Are you sure you're the superiors?" They turned back to the culprit just in time to see her pistol-whip another. "Because you look pretty inferior to me."

It had taken sky only a few minutes to get close to the summoning chambers. The walk would easily be twice as long, but he decided against his better judgment to take a shortcut through the noxian wing of rooms. Just as he rounded a corner, he crashed into someone who had been sprinting down the hall. "Sorry, I-" His words were cut short when a quick jab knocked him to the ground. As he groaned in pain, he looked up into the face of the aggressor.

The woman standing above him appeared tall and proud. One of her hands remained clenched at her side while the other was covering the part of her forehead where they collided. Her long red hair covered part of the scar going across her eye. Her face bore one of anger as she aggressively said "What's your problem?"

After sitting up, Sky responded. "Problem? Well I guess I do have a problem. My problem is that people seem to be acting weird for no reason." He stood up as he spoke. "For instance, a lot of other male champions and even a few summoners have been giving me the stink eye recently. The women champions I pass by have been staring me down also. But it's different. It's almost like there studying me or-"

A knife flies right past his head, landing into the wall behind him. "I didn't ask for a dam monologue. Now lower your hood and tell me your name before I give the wall a new coating of red."

"Okay then, no need to be hasty." He lowered the hood. "My name is Sky and I am the new Psychologist. Sorry for bumping into you by the way."

She instantly knew who the guy was. He was the person she had to sleep with to win the competition. And she was already off to such a great start. Her best option was to salvage the situation at hand.

"Katarina" she said, malice leaving her voice. "Sorry for hitting you."

"Don't worry about. That's surprisingly not the worst thing that happened today."

"Oh really?" Katarina said with faked interest. "What else happened then?"

"Well I can't really go into details but here's the gist of it."

Katarina smiled and nodded while pretending to care. Instead of listening, she used the opportunity to size up the speaker. He was pretty tall, which lead her to question if his head actually hit hers when they collided. He was a decently attractive person, although he appeared a little weak for her tastes. She decided that he could be deserving of a one night stand.

"Oh and another thing." He continued. "I am wondering why you missed our last lesson."

"Yeah about that…" The read head started. The truth was she had every desire to forgo her therapy lessons. She refused to trust anyone with secrets that could be used against her. But she could not just say that when she already hasn't made the best impression. She shrugged. "…something came up."

"That's understandable. You get busy when you are an assassin working for Noxus. Just understand that if you skip the one today, I will be forced to go to our superiors about this."

'That fool wouldn't dare. I would cut his throat before he had a chance.' The redhead thought. 'Oh well, no reason to get worked up. I will be finished with him in days. Most men act the same when it comes to sex.'

"I hate to be short with you, but I have somewhere to be. I'll see you later tonight." He said.

"Of course." She replied.

As they began on their separate paths, Sky stopped. "Oh, and one more thing Katarina." She turned her head silently. "When we met up later today, I expect you to actually listen to what I say and not just try and study me. Studying is my job."

She kept silent, unsure of how to respond. 'How did he read me so easily?' After staring him in the eyes for a few seconds, she blushed in embarrassment before stomping off. 'Note to self.' She thought. 'He is smarter than he acts.'

Sky couldn't help but laugh as he continued on his way. He honestly expected another dagger thrown at him, and he for once was glad to be incorrect. His mood took a drastic change though as he rounded the corner and opened the door to his destination. 'This is worse than I expected.' He saw six robed men all laid out on the ground. He immediately ran to the person closest to him. After flipping him over, Sky noticed a big knot on his head. 'Painful, but not lethal." He thought.

Before he made it to the second body, Sky heard footsteps behind him. He pivoted just in time to see a familiar gun pointed directly at his head. He then met the glare of the owner. "Jinx?" No response.

There was something different about her. She wasn't smiling at all. Not only that, he noticed a slight shake in her hands. If he didn't know better, he would say that she was scared. "Jinx, do you remember me from earlier? It's me, Sky. You know, I'm the guy you almost killed but kissed instead."

She immediately started to act normal again. "Oh hey pretty boy, didn't recognize you."

"Not to be rude, but it's not like there are that many people here with darker skin." She merely laughed as she cracked her knuckles. Sky ended up noticing a few bruises, but besides that she was fine. He expected her to be in danger instead of the others.

Just then he looked through the open door. He saw three summoners who were standing inside the entrance. They seemed to be silently channeling something, but it looked like they needed more time. Grabbing her arm to keep her from turning, Sky tried to keep her attention on him. "How were you able to beat these guys without getting more than a few bruises?"

"Pffff these guys were scrubs. I've fought kids that were tougher." After a pause she jerked her away, feeling uncomfortable. This time though he grabbed both her wrists and pulled her a little closer. "Hey buddy, what's the problem?" she said.

He leaned in closer before whispering, "were not trying to hurt you."

"Whether that's true or not, you are still…what did you mean by we?" She looked down to notice a large blue arm wrap around her waist. In her shock, she dropped her weapon. Before she had time to react, the blue arm without a body began to pull her away. Suddenly, she had a flashback.

As Sky was about to walk away, he felt hands grab at his shirt. Jinx was grabbing him with all her might. He was about to say something until Jinx completely stumped him. She yelled "DON'T LET THEM TAKE ME BACK!" The pure terror in her voice caught him off guard. His thoughts were short lived, because two more blue arms grabbed her and pulled her off of him. The magic arms then slammed her into the wall, knocking her out.

"So much for not hurting her." Sky said while sitting on the ground. One of the summoners walked up to him and asked if he was ok. "I guess I'm fine. I've just had one of those days. The craziest part is its only half over."

Ahri was lying on her bed, dedicating herself some alone time. She passively shifted her orb around while staring at her plaque across the room. It read, League of Legends Sexiest Champion Alive. She used to cherish it, loving the fact that she was able to assimilate into the culture she loved so much. The award meant nothing now that she was turned down by someone she wanted. Epically a jerk like him. The orb began twisting and morphing violently. 'How dare he question how I act as a person? He knows nothing.' Suddenly the orb burst, raining blue sparks on the ground.

Ahri never even noticed until she smelled the smoke. She looked in shock to see her beautiful carpet on fire. Sprinting into the other room, the fox-woman returned a minute later with a bucket of water. She threw it on the ground, ending the fire. In that moment, staring at her burnt and soaked carpet, something changed inside her. She felt a wave of determination flow over her. "You will be mine!" she yelled to no one. "Mark my words."
