Hikaru struggled to keep his tired red eyes open as he and his older sibling walked towards an empty field in the eastside of Nerima. The cold morning air tickled his lungs and his shoes became damp from the dew that accumulated on the tall grass. The lack of sleep starting to take an early toll on the Lanky teen, clad in a black GI with purple bands around neck, wrists, and ankles. "Must we wake up so early? The sun isn't even up!" His question went unanswered in the light morning breeze, scented with nearby Peach and Apple trees from the empty field. "It is said that one's spirit energy is more Potent and more synchronized with the body during the rise of the sun than any other time of the time of the day, in other words, The Early bird get the worm." Kira replied.
"Let's start our morning session with light meditation/yoga training." Kira announced "The body will always fall to the mind; therefore, a clear and pure mind will result in clear and pure actions in both social and combative encounters." Taking out the cloth band that kept his hair in an orderly fashion and letting his purple hair flow free in the breeze, he motioned over to Hikaru. "Do as I do, it's okay if you make a few mistakes the important thing is that you are free minded." Moving gracefully through the tall grass leaving all Limbs loose and without tension, Kira completely lost himself. Not sensing Hikaru's presence Kira turned to see what was wrong. "Is there a problem?" Hikaru sweat dropped. "Yeah, I'm not a ballerina that's the problem."
"That as I have demonstrated was hardly a dance, if you insist on questioning my training methods, I will be forced to Drop the entire Training course and I will have to find a replacement student. "WAH! THERE IS NO REASON TO BE SO RASH!" he cried waving his hands. "Good, now get over here." Walking grudgingly towards perhaps the only way he could even have a shot at competing against saotome, he could not help but notice that either he was getting shorter or Kira was getting taller. Either one it freaked him out. "Now do as I do, this time no lagging behind, okay?" "Fine." Hikaru agreed.
Following Kira's every move and action, Hikaru started to feel foolish from all the prancing around and he could have sworn Kira was singing that 'so pretty oh so pretty' song. But he refrained fearing the he might upset him feel as if had already had a strike from his rebellious action he took just a while ago only proved that his self-respect has greatened. Still, however, there was still room for improvement….lots of it.
Around an hour later, Kira finally took notice of his watch. "Oh, dear." Kira stopped. "What? What is it?" Hikaru stopped as well. "It seems we are going to be late for school." He replied. "GAH! MY PERFECT ATTENDANCE!" Hikaru cried. "Not to worry we can still make it." Kira turned around and pointed to his back. "Get on and hold on tight I don't want you going splat against the pavement." Hikaru jumped on Kira then scouted the general direction of nerima high. "Bout that way give or take." "Who are you talking to?" not even answering the question. Kira pivoted and leaped an impressive height towards Nerima high. Hikaru clenched as hard as he could trying not to fall and going splat against the unforgiving gray cement.
Upon landing, Hikaru could feel the recoil that made his insides turn. "Could you land a bit softer please?" "Oh, of course." Jumping over a luxury apartment complex Kira made a small miscalculation. A small pond with swans and ducks went to roost. "KIRA LOOK OUT!" "Noticing the area. Kira's blood started to run cold. "SON OF A!-" out of pure reflex he freed his right arm and summoned a small orb of purple energy and propelled him and Hikaru out of its path like a small rocket and landing on the west bank. "Sheesh, Kira! Warn somebody when you decide to do a stunt like that mkay?" Kira wasn't even listening. He was still recuperating from a near miss. "This place…..it's too risky." He thought.
"Huh? Hey Kira what's wrong?" "Nothing!" Kira shouted. "Nothing at all!" Trying to regain his composure he took a long breath. "I'll run you to school form here." Kira said. "It's too dangerous to be jumping around this place." Blinking in confusion Hikaru shrugged. "Fine, whatever floats you boat." He said Jumping on his back. Kira began running with a look of worry on his face. Noticing, Hikaru questioned what could have made Kira loose his cool like that. It was just water. Then, like a bolt of knowledge, Hikaru thought of the only two explanations: either Kira had hydrophobia or he was… no couldn't be not him. Hikaru shook his head. Couldn't be it was impossible. "Kira was surprised was all." He thought. There was no way it had anything to do with Jusenkyo.
*beep* *video saved* an electronic voice said. It was Nabiki she just so happen to be at the area when she saw the cute guy carrying that pale dude on his back and she had just recorded the entire scene. "I saw that you know." She spoke.
Arriving at school with seconds to spare, Kira and Hikaru and Hikaru's attendance streak was safe. For now anyway. Unknown to the residents of Nerima, They had yet a new visitor. A green figure, its demonic appearance had gone unnoticed for the day. "Peek-a-boo Kira…I SEE YOU."
