Chapter Twenty-Two: Moving on

Maleficent panted as she looked over to see Phillip ride in on a horse as he jumped off to glare at her.

"Maleficent! How are you alive?!" Phillip growled.

"Oh? You thought you and Aqua defeated me? You fool I lived and took your precious Princess when this world fell into my darkness! I had gathered all seven! I was so close to my goal but then! That boy ruined it all! The one with a keyblade! Just like your Jason" she said as Jason ran in behind her.

"Who is responsible for you being alive you old hag?!" Jason growled.

"You don't know? Why you should you know him very well" Maleficent smirked.

"...Xehanort? Impossible! He's gone! He has been since he became a heartless and Kingdom Hearts door was sealed!" Jason said.

"Don't believe me? How unfortunate" Maleficent said.

"Shame you don't have Terra gift to follow orders and embrace the darkness."

"Shut up!" Jason yelled.

"Time for you yourself to see the power of true darkness!" Maleficent yelled erupting in green flames as the bridge shook.

Jason eyes then widen to see she had turned into a massive black dragon that stood in front of Phillip and Jason as the two stood together and Phillip drew his shield and sword and Jason his two keyblades.

"HA!" Phillip yelled swinging his sword at the dragon.

"Rah! Ha! Yah!" Jason yelled striking the head.

The dragon then stomped on its feet sending waves of energy into the two as Jason and Phillip grunted.

"Now! Here!" Phillip yelled calling Jason over as Jason ran behind Phillip as the dragon blew flames Phillip blocked with his shield.

"Let's go!" Jason said taking Phillip hand as they used Selfless Princess.

"Ha!" Phillip yelled throwing Jason above as Jason came down on the dragon head with his keyblade.

"Yah!" Jason yelled as he landed and the dragon shook her head in a daze.

"Hah! Yah! Rah!" Jason yelled making an attack.

"Wah! Ha! Hah!" Phillip yelled making a few swings.

The dragon then flew up off the bridge and flew over Jason and Phillip and around the bridge and to the to the entrance to the castle as she came at them blowing fire.

"Now!" Phillip yelled as Jason took his hand.

"Ha!" Jason and Phillip yelled as Jason flew above and landed on the dragon back.

"Ha! Rah! Yah! Ha!" Jason yelled attacking her neck, "Yah! Ha! Rah! Yah!"

The dragon then landed as Jason jumped off and attacked her head as she tried to get up, "Rah! Ha! Yah! Hah!"

"Yah! Wah! Ha!" Phillip yelled making a few stirkes.

"Hah! Yah! Rah!" Jason yelled making the final strikes as the dragon roared blowing fire on all the thrones around them before collapsing motionless then catching on fire before turning into nothing but he black robe.

"Huh?!" Jason said as a crow cawed and snatched the robe and flew off into the distance.

Later Jason and Phillip ran in to check on all the guests.

"Is everyone alright?" Jason asked.

"Aurora!" Phillip said rushing to her.

"Phillip!" she smiled hugging him as Jason looked over to Kilala and Rei as the bead in her hand glowed.

"Ah! The glass bead?!" Kilala said as it transformed, "It's changed into a Rose Quartz!"

"See? Even a simple glass bead can transform into something beautiful!" Aurora said.

"You're right Aurora" Kilala said as the Quarts placed itself on the tiara.

'The power of keeping the faith in love and believing in miracles that was what I learned from Aurora!' Kilala thought.

Later Jason watched Kilala dance with Rei as Jason went into thought, 'Even the boy, the one who missing from all these people memories stopped Maleficent there must be a connection here that takes the memories of those connected to that boy.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

"Thank you so much, Aurora!" Kilala said later that day as they got ready to leave, "we're still in the middle of our journey so we'll have to go now!"

"Princess, the tiara represent elegance and responsibility, so stay strong!" Aurora said.

"I will!" Kilala said as she and the others went into the next gateway.

Upon opening their eyes the heroes eyes all widen.

"Eh?! This is-isn't this Paradiso?!" Kilala asked.

"It is, why we end up back here?" Jason asked.

"Well, hello there" Valdou said from behind Kilala as she gasped and he grabbed her arm.

"Kilala!" Jason and Rei yelled as trench coat wearing figures all grabbed them.

"Get off me!" Jason growled.

"Master Rei, glad you made it back home" Valdou said taking the tiara.

"Sylphy! Run!" Rei yelled as they saw her pull off her necklace.

"As promised I brought my darling back here I believe me work is done?" Sylphy said handing Valdou her necklace.

"WHY YOU DOUBLE CROSSING SON OF A-!" Jason growled as one of the trench coat figure punched him in the gut.

"Thank you, Princess Sylphy your wedding preparations with Master Rei are going very smoothly" Valdou said.

"Now do you get it, Kilala? No matter how hard you try to flirt with my darling I'm the one who's going to marry him! Didn't I tell you to take a good look at reality?" Sylphy smirked.

"Sylphy!" Rei yelled as she kissed his cheek.

"I'll be waiting in the castle!" she smirked as she walked away with two Trench Coats.

"SYLPHY!"

"Ugh! I knew my gut was right about her" Jason growled.

"What an industrious young lady, she'll do anything to get her hands on you" Valdou said as Jason and Rei glared at him, "heh! With this tiara Paradiso will be reborn! We will turn this kingdom into a true utopia!"

"You liar!" Kilala yelled, "the people of this kingdom are suffering because of you!" Kilala yelled as Valdou smirked.

Later Valdou took them to see the town as they saw people working.

"Forced to work? Of course not, I just have to do what I'm told" a man said.

"His eyes…" Jason said as he looked to Kilala and a small child.

"There's not war, and it's so peaceful. This is a great kingdom just like heaven."

"These people are brain washed!" Jason yelled.

'See what I mean? We're giving these people 'happiness' by erasing their needless 'emotion'! No joy, sorrow, anger or humor. That's why they're be able to live in peace forever" Valdou said.

"You're wrong" Kilala said as Valdou glanced at her, "all the people here are wearing emotionless masks they may be alive, but they might as well be dead. That's not what I'd call 'happiness' people laugh when they're happy and cry when they're sad! That's what 'being alive' truly means!"

At that moment Valdou grabbed her next and glared at her as he held her off the ground.

"So, you would stand in my way again? What do you know about life?!"

"AUGH!" Kilala gasped as Jason came from the side with keyblade in hand and sliced at Valdou face as Rei grabbed Kilala and the tiara.

"UGH! Get them! I don't care what you do to the girl and boy, just get back the tiara!" Valdou yelled as he glared in the direction they went, "no more mister nice guy Master Rei!"

"We have to hurry to the next world, Kilala! If we don't collect the gems soon this Kingdom will-" Rei said as they ran and took shelter in a cave.

"At this rate we'll run out of time! There are fourteen gem holders on this tiara and we only got five!" Jason said looking outside the cave.

"Give me the tiara I'll go look for the gate!" Rei said.

"I'm coming with you!" Kilala said.

"Don't be silly! Valdou's still looking for us! As soon as I find the gate, we'll leave right away. Stay here with Jason until I come back!" Rei said heading out.

"Huh?! Right away? Rei!" Kilala said.

"You're worried aren't you about leaving Sylphy behind? We have no choice" Rei said.

"Rei!" Kilala yelled as Rei ran ahead.

"No! I know that look! There is no way I am helping you go after that snake!" Jason growled as Kilala gave him puppy dog eyes.

"Please?"

"Nope! I am not helping" Jason said crossing his arms as Kilala glared.

Later!

"Ohh! What a lovely dress!" Sylphy said holding up a wedding dress to herself as she heard a clink on her window, "hmm?"

Upon opening the window Kilala was held upside down in front of her window.

"BOO!"

"AAAAAAAHHH!" Sylphy screamed.

"Phew! Finally made it! This place is like a labyrinth!" Kilala said climbing in.

"Kilala?!"

"What are you complaining about?! I'm the one who kept you from falling!" Jason growled climbing in.

"Ah, forget that! The important thing is to get you outta here! If we don't leave now, they'll brainwash you too!" Kilala said.

"Har?! What're you talking about? Ohh I get it you're just trying to scare me out of marrying my darling" Sylphy said.

"No! I', serious! If something happens to you-"

"That's enough, in actual fact, you just think I'm in your way, don't you? Admit it, you don't want me to take Rei away from you! Why don't you stop acting like such a goody-two-shoes and say so?"

"You're right you're absolutely right I don't want you to take Rei away from me."

"Now you're finally being honest!"

"But wait! That's not the point! I couldn't bear to see Rei being worried about you I came to bring you back because that's what Rei would've wanted that's why I'm here! Because I'm in love with Rei."

"Crap! I hear trouble, we got to go!" Jason said.

"Sylphy, please! We have to go now!"

"What are you doing?! No way! I'm not moving an inch! I won't let you have your way!" Sylphy yelled.

"Quit being a brat and let's go!" Jason yelled as the door swung open.

"Princess Sylphy?! We have intruders! Did they-" one of them began as he saw Kilala and Jason at the window.

"Even if you don't trust anything I say, I believe tin this one thing Rei's really worried about you" Kilala said as she and Jason jumped out the window.

"There they are! Get them!" one of the trench coats yelled.

Meanwhile!

"Why did she risk coming all the way here? That idiot!" Rei growled as he saw Kilala and Jason running towards him up ahead on the trail.

"Rei!" Kilala called.

"Where were you?! I was looking all over!" Rei yelled.

"ACK! Um...I...had to use the toilet" Kilala said scratching the back of her head.

"And why did Jason come?" Rei asked.

"...to keep an eye out for those goons?" Jason said.

"Did you find the gate?" Kilala asked.

"No for some reason the tiara just isn't responding" Rei said as Jason hit him on the head.

"You moron, have you learn nothing, only the chosen princess can use it" Jason said.

"Hands up!" A man yelled as the three held up their hands and looked to a man with a gun pointed at them "Prince Rei?!"

Later!

The heroes were taken to the rebels hide out where they learned of their struggles.

"We're part of a group of rebels who still hold out against Valdou's control. This is our hideout."

"Thank goodness there are still people left who haven't been brainwashed!" Kilala said as a couple looked at Kilala then a woman reached into her pocket and handed Kilala a picture.

"What's this? OH!" Kilala gasped.

"It's your folks!" Jason said.

"Where's did you get this?!" Kilala asked.

"SHH!"

"There was a couple from Avalon who used to look at that picture all the time we figured even if they managed to escape, that's still two people saved but we don't know where they are now" the woman said.

"They're alive and well thank you for saving my parents!" Kilala said with tears in her eyes.

"There's this legend I've heard about a princess, our last hope it is said that this world will change when Prince Rei meets her could it be that you're the one?"

"Oh b-but I..."

"Yes she the princess" Rei said.

"She sure is and we have faith in her" Jason smiled as Kilala blushed.

"Kilala! Stay strong!" Princess Aurora voice said to Kilala.

'She right. It's up to me to do whatever I can no matter what it takes I won't let everyone down!' Kilala thought.

"Bad news! Looks like they found us! You have to get outta here! Now!" a man yelled as the door was busted open.

"You heard him!" Jason yelled as the three ran.

"There they are!"

"Hurry! Please! Why isn't the tiara responding? Where is the gate?!" Kilala thought as they reached a cliff as Jason looked back and see guns get pointed at them.

"Jump" Jason yelled pushing the two down and jumped after them.

"AHHHHHHH!" Kilala screamed as they all hit a metal back and looked to see they were on a hover vehicle driven by Sylphy.

"Sylphy?!" Rei said.

"Sheesh, you three just can't take care of yourselves can you?"

"Why are you?"

"I've changed my mind! It's just not my style to wait and besides" she said glaring at Kilala.

"Sylphy!" Kilala gasped.

"What?! I'm not giving up on my darling to you!"

"THANK YOU!" Kilala said hugging her.

"LET GO OF ME! I didn't want to save you! I was just passing by, you hear?! Just passing by!"

"Ugh! Rei if you don't set things straight with her I will kill you" Jason glared.

"Hmmmm AH!" Rei gasped as they all looked back to see Valdou riding a similar vehicle "Valdou!"

"Die!" Valdou smirked as he began firing as Jason saw the tiara glow.

"Not today!" Jason yelled summoning one of his keyblades.
