Author's Note: Wow! So long since I've updated... terribly sorry, but things have grown steadily crazier with each month. Inspired by the new trailer for The Clone Wars" the Lost Missions (which if you haven't seen you really should check out!) I have finally gotten around to writing another chapter for this lonely little story.

I hope you all enjoy!

Obi-Wan followed Siri, hoods drawn over the faces as they made their way down the public transport area.

"I still don't like this," Obi-Wan muttered under his breath. Siri glanced back over her shoulder at him crossly.

"Would you rather leave Almek in charge of Mandalore and Corky who knows where?" she asked him.

"No, " he admitted, "but I'd feel a lot better with the council's permission for this.

"As would I, but that's not an option," Siri reminded him. Then the two fell silent until they arrived at the ticket booth.
"Two passages to Mandalore," Siri said, slipping her hood back, and flashing the ticket man a friendly, almost to friendly Obi-Wan privately thought, smile.

"Haven't ya heard, no passage to enemy planets," the man said gruffly, un moved by Siri's cordial attitude.

"Well then," Siri asked, "what's the closest planet to Mandalore?"

"Correlia of course, but I don't know why you'd want to go to such a slime pit."

"That's our business," Siri said, as she slid the credits over and accepted the passage tickets.

"Dock 13," the man said, and his eyes followed Obi-Wan and Siri suspiciously as they slipped back through the crowd towards dock 13.

"Well, that went well," Obi-Wan said muttered. "I don't trust him."

"Now Master Kenobi, don't tell me you're jealous," Siri teased.

"I am not..." Obi-wan began angrily, until he noticed Siri's eyes laughing at him and he promptly shut up. "The sooner we get to Mandalore the better," he said at last.

"We should be there from Correlia by lunch time tomorrow," Siri said calmly. "Then the fun begins."

It was one o'clock in the morning on Corescant. Unfortunately, one in the morning on Corescant was one in the afternoon on Arorua, and Anakin was sitting in his tent trying very hard not to fall asleep. That became much easier in a few seconds, when Captain Rex burst in on him, startling him to full wakefulness.

"Rex..."

"Sorry Sir, but the separatists are on the move, approaching our position."

Anakin leapt to his feet, grabbing his lightsaber from the nearby bunk and racing after Rex out into the sun of Arorua. He met Quinlan at the command center, where they'd set up holomaps of the surrounding area. On the map small holo droid armies were moving slowly towards their position.

"They should be here in a matter of minutes," Quinlan said when Anakin and Rex arrived. "They'll be coming up the south flank. We already have our cannons swiveled in that direction, and doubled the troops on the border."

"Any sign of a flanking maneuver on their part?" Anakin asked, studying the map.

"Not so far," Quinlan answered. "Any ideas?"

"Only one," Anakin admitted.

"What would that be sir?" Rex asked, already guessing the answer.

"The same as always Rex," Anakin said with a grin, confirming the Captain's suspicions. "Blast the circuits out of those walking buckets of bolts."

It was a good 6 hour flight to Correlia, and Obi-wan wasn't sure if he could keep his sanity during the trip. At least, he wouldn't be able to without Siri.

"Five star rated snacks my eye," Siri muttered as she sifted suspiciously through the contents of one of the snack pouches. Obi-Wan rolled his eyes at her.

"Didn't you pack any snack yourself?" he asked her, knowing that was one of the first lessons a padawan ever learns. If you want edible food, pack it yourself.

"Of course," Siri answered while eyeing what appeared to be a cross between a walnut and an orange. "However, taking into consideration our destination, I figured it would be wiser to save our meager rations for when we're on a battle field with no food at all."

Making a thoroughly disgusted face at her snack, finally deeming it inedible, she tossed into the nearby recycler.

"Well, if you get to hungry on the flight there we can dip into mine," obi-Wan offered, "I'll restock on Correlia." Siri glanced sideways at him.

"Have you ever been to Correlia?" she inquired.

"Umm... no, haven't been there yet."

"Well I have," Siri informed him, arms crossed as she glared holes into the side of the transport. "I went while I was undercover." Undercover. The only way she would ever mention her temporary fake split from the Jedi. Of all missions she'd been on, Obi-Wan knew that that one had been her least favorite of the lot.

"And?" Obi-Wan asked, seeing that Siri wasn't about to continue speaking. "What's it like?" Siri snorted derisively.

"It's a pit full of the darkest and foulest creatures that the galaxy can hide within a farce of civilized society. In short, a place where no self-respecting person anywhere would ever want to remain at for long."

"Do they have decent food at least?"

"If you know where to look," Siri admitted.

"And do you?"

Siri shrugged, which was good enough for Obi-Wan. There was no person more particular over what poison she consumed then Siri Tachi, so if she had found something she'd eat on any planet, then that was enough for Obi-Wan. He dug into his pack and pulled out two nutribars, handing one to Siri.

"In that case, let's eat."
