Chapter 7

Time seemed to have stopped as Gaara threw himself at the door just before kankuro could fully open it. Gaara's heart was pounding in his chest he felt dizzy from getting up so fast, at that moment his blood went cold as Kankuro's shriek echoed through his room. As Gaara slowly turned he realized that he had smashed the door on Kankuro's fingers which were now bleeding. However that wasn't the worst part there on the floor laid Sakura with her face on the ground. Gaara had somehow pulled Sakura off the bed and into the ground face first. Gaara couldn't fully comprehend what he had just done so he stood there with wide eyes and his mouth open unable to speak.

"WHAT THE HELL! UGH" Kankuro yelled as he removed his fingers from the door frame and slid down the wall next to it. "DAMMIT GAARA I was Only going to ask for some Freaking Paint for my new puppet God A simple No would've been Fine" Kankuro said while tending to the cuts on his left hand "What the Hell man What are you hiding a Girl or something Da-" " I'm Sorry Kankuro Please don't tell mom" Gaara interrupted Kankuro as he stood in front of kankuro Bowing his head with an unreadable face.

Kankuro Raised an eyebrow at Gaara's actions 'Since when did Gaara apologize?' Ever since they were younger Gaara never apologized and even when he did It would be a small apology, nothing like this. Now Kankuro was getting Suspicious, Gaara hasn't been himself for a while. Kankuro didn't know how to react "Uh...its Fine.."

Kankuro was about to ask Gaara Whats been bothering him when Gaara Lifted his head and looked at Kankuro with a Blank expression. He then walked back into his room and shut the door, leaving a puzzled looking Kankuro in the hallway.

~~A Few Moments Before ~~~

Gaara stayed there staring at a Face Planted Sakura on the floor unable to speak. "Ngh" she groaned in pain as she grabbed her arm were the gash was and started started getting up off the Ground When Suddenly "WHAT THE HELL! UGH" came in Kankuro's Voice. Sakura in the middle of getting on her knee quickly looked up at Gaara with a puzzled, pained and worried look, and quickly crawled into his bathroom out of sight.

Gaara felt so stupid, he forgot about her injuries, especially the large gash on her right arm. So many things filled his head when he started seeing red showing through her bandages. Not only did he hurt her, but now Kankuro would find out about her and so would his mom. If his mom found out then he would probably have to say goodbye to Sakura forever. He didn't know why but the thought of never seeing Sakura again pained him. 'Damn It' Gaara repeated in his head 'How am I going to Explain this?' Gaara thought 'Oh sorry mom I've been hiding a girl who I've been obsessing over for the past Months and just two days ago she showed up bleeding and bruised outside my window and you know I let her sleep in my room' Gaara shook his head as if that would ever work.

Gaara suddenly remembered about Kankuro. Quickly he came out of his room and apologized to Kankuro hoping Kankuro would not say anything to his mom.

When Gaara went back in his room he awkwardly picked up his blanket and layed it on his bed. He then sat on his Desk chair starring at his floor with an unreadable face. It was then that he saw little droplets of blood on the floor. Now he felt even more guilty.

After a couple of minutes Sakura slowly stepped out of the bathroom with new bandages and sat on his bed. The room was filled with an awkward silence until Sakura couldn't Handle it anymore. "Gaara its okay I'm not angry You had to do what you had to do" Sakura said with a hint of worry to try to make Gaara feel better. "Really Gaara My arm doesn't hurt see" She waved it around trying the best she could to hide her pain. Even after that Gaara didn't say anything. Sakura stopped waving it and looked down at the floor and started to think.

Sakura thought for a second 'Should I tell him about me being a faery?' She shook her inner head 'No its too soon to reveal anything I still don't truly know him' she thought. Even though Sakura felt a bit Guilty for not telling Gaara anything She knew she had to get to know Gaara more before revealing a huge Secret like that.

She didn't know how Gaara would take in the news of her being a faery, but she hoped he didn't faint like some Humans shes seen over the past years. Another thing She was worried about was how Gaara would start acting after she tells him shes a faery? Would he Deny her for being Different from him? Would he kick her out of his house because of the Danger that might come upon him and his Family? Sakura felt a bit of a stab in her heart at those thoughts, but none the less she will prepare herself for the worse when the time comes to tell Gaara everything. Sakura slowly laid down on his bed and covered herself with his blanket and slowly falling asleep again.

After a couple of minutes passed, Gaara got off of his chair, grabbed his school clothes and went into the Bathroom without saying a word. When Gaara was done getting ready he left the room, but came back 10 minutes later leaving a tray of chocolate chip waffles with some orange Juice on the side of his bed with a small Red note.

When Gaara saw Sakura slowly waking up at the smell of the Waffles he went to his door, Grabbed his backpack and left for school.

When Sakura woke up she was surprised to see Warm breakfast beside her. Sakura looked around and saw that Gaara had left she slowly sat up and grabbed the plate and began probing the waffles with a fork that was next to the orange juice.

"Is this what they call waffles?" Sakura whispered to herself, as she began eating the waffles she picked up the Red Note. When she opened it she began to panic. She quickly put the food tray on the side of the bed and held the note with both hands.

Feeling stupid she started rubbing her temples. After calming down a bit she started thinking of ways on how she would tell Gaara that she couldn't read human writings. As she was too busy thinking of ways on how to tell Gaara, she didn't notice the door knob moving. By the time Sakura noticed the door was already half way open. She quickly got off the bed and stood in the corner of Gaara's room.

When Kankuro walked in the first thing he noticed where half eaten waffles by Gaara's bed. "I guess he was in a hurry" Kankuro said to himself. As Kankuro started searching Gaara's room Sakura couldn't help but stare at him with curiosity.

"Well there aren't any drugs heh as if Gaara would ever-What do we have here?" Kankuro said as he saw a red Note on Gaara's bed. "Could this be a Love Letter?" Kankuro snickered to himself "Oh Gaara I'm never going to let you live this down" Kankuro said as he started approaching Gaara's bed.

When Sakura saw that Kankuro had seen the note she started Panicking. 'Dammit Sakura Why are you such an idiot!' She thought while she started searching the room for something to distract Kankuro with.

As Kankuro reached for the note he suddenly heard a "Thump" that came from the bathroom.

He then backed away from the note an started walking to the bathroom Curious at what the noise was.

Quickly Sakura ran past him, grabbed the note and shoved it in her mouth. This way Kankuro wouldn't be able to see it.

When Kankuro walked into the bathroom he saw that that Gaara's shampoo and toothpaste were on the ground. "How did they fall?" kankuro said to himself as he started looking around. Not finding anything he put the Shampoo and toothpaste back were they were, careful on picking them up. He didn't want to hurt his bandaged fingers more than they already were.

Walking back to the room Kankuro was surprised to see that the note was gone. "Where did it go?" He said as he started looking all over Gaara's Room. "That's weird I swear it was on the bed" Kankuro frowned.

Sakura stood behind Kankuro as he Searched all over Gaara's room, feeling relieved that she hid the note. However that soon faded away after what happened next.

When Kankuro turned around He quickly forgot about the Note. He couldn't believe what was in front of his very eyes. "oh my God" Kankuro said

Sakura Froze scared to move 'Can he see me?' she thought as he looked straight into her eyes.

"Dammit Gaara how could he be Hiding Sometime this Beautiful Here?" He said as he started getting closer to Sakura. Sakura Held her Breath Not Knowing what to do 'He can see me!' she thought as he started approaching her. 'What should I do!?' she started thinking desperately. However when Kankuro was just a few inches away from her she closed her eyes.

When she was about say something, he spoke. "Gaara you bastard how could you hide this Beautiful paint from me" Kankuro said as he reached for Bottles of paint from Gaara's desk.

Sakura quickly opened her eyes and couldn't help but feel Dumbfounded at what she just heard. 'Paint?' She thought as she looked up at kankuro and saw him admiring some paint that was on Gaara's desk. 'So he cant see me?' she thought as she moved away from Kankuro. She couldn't believe that she actually thought he saw her, she then face palmed herself at her stupidity.

When Kankuro left Sakura fell on Gaara's bed and couldn't wait until Gaara came back from school.
