Crimson Passion
Chapter 8: First Night
Naruto and Sasuke came out wearing their day class uniform. Minako was sitting on the couch with crossed arms and legs. When she saw her blonde haired friends she smiled amused.
"Wow Naruto, I'm impressed. You look more mature." She said.
"Thanks Mina-chan!" He grinned.
"I bet you're joking." Sasuke mumbled and Naruto growled.
"Oh shut up teme!" He shouted.
"Is that all you can say?" The Uchiha mumbled and Minako rolled her eyes at this; they never changed.
When the dark haired teen looked at the boy that she loved in the past, her cheeks turned faint red. His uniform made him more mature and…attractive. She gulped and fluttered her eyelashes. Sasuke noticed this and smirked.
"Like what you see, Yagari?" He asked and she growled darkly at this. She took out a shuriken and threw it in less than 2 seconds. He caught it with his hands and Zero gasped at this; he was quick.
"Go and jump a cliff, Uchiha." She muttered and he frowned at this. He averted his dark eyes to the floor and sighed.
"Maybe I should since I'm dying already." He said extremely inaudibly. Minako blinked at this but didn't hear that clearly.
"Did you say something?" She asked.
"None of your business." He mumbled and she rolled her eyes at this.
Miyako came out wearing her uniform with a big grin on her face. She looked so excited for her first patrol.
"Oneesan! You're not wearing your uniform yet!" She said.
"Yeah, Minako. Go and get changed." Yuki pushed her lightly into the bathroom.
Minako got changed but instead of wearing brown boots, she wore black glossy patent boots which were up to her knees.
The dark haired teen got out of the bathroom and they stared at her with large eyes. Yuki admired Minako but her younger twin was just a bit jealous of her beauty. Naruto was shocked since this was the first time he saw her in a skirt and a very short one in fact. Minako glanced at Zero who was staring at her. But when they made eye contact, the silver haired boy averted his eyes with pink cheeks.
Sasuke stared at the girl with large eyes and red cheeks; she looked so beautiful. He had never seen her wearing these kind of clothes; but they looked so good on her. The black uniform brought out her baby blue eyes more, making them brighter.
"What?" She asked.
"Minako, you look so beautiful!" Yuki grinned and Minako giggled at this with pink cheeks. Sasuke felt like smiling; one of thing he loved most about her was her giggle.
"Thank you, Yuki." She mumbled sheepishly. Zero walked up to her side and avoided to look at his childhood friend.
"You look…" He trailed off and scratched the back of his head. "…good." She smiled at this.
"Thank you, Zero-kun." The dark haired Yagari mumbled.
"Woah, Minako-chan, you look amazing!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Heheh, thanks Naruto." She grinned.
"Minako-san, you look absolutely lovely." Kaien said.
"Thanks, Headmaster." He started crying waterfalls.
"Call me father!"
"Minako-san, you look so cute." Kakashi stated and she huffed.
"Enough compliments now, it's getting annoying." Minako said.
"Yagari, you look absolutely awful." Sasuke stated and Zero growled at this with a glare.
"I know what you mean, Uchiha. Thank you very much for the offense, I really appreciate it." She said and he walked up to her. He grabbed her wrist and jaw roughly. He smirked at her and Zero was about to charge at him, but Yuki held him back.
"You've learnt how to control your temper; I'm impressed." He whispered and she felt his hot breath on her face. She smirked.
"Well I've learnt from you on how to hide my true feelings, Uchiha." She said. Sasuke blinked at this and stared/glared at her. She just stared at him back with an emotionless face. Her eyes sparkled and glistened like stars.
After a few minutes, he let go of her and she walked past him.
"Remember this. You won't be able to hide your true feelings away from me for long. I'll wait for that day." She said but didn't face him.
"I'll see if that will ever happen, Yagari." He smirked.
"Mark my word, Uchiha. It will happen and I will make it a reality." She walked to an open window and grabbed onto the sides of the window. Minako closed her eyes and jumped out of the window.
"No!" Zero was about to rush to the window but Tsunade grabbed his sleeve.
"She has done this numerous times from even higher buildings. So don't worry about her." The Hokage stated.
Sasuke grinded his teeth and his fist was trembling. He turned around and stomped out of the room. The dark haired Uchiha slammed the door behind him leaving cracks on the wall. The Headmaster laughed nervously with a sweat drop.
"They hate each other, so much." Yuki said.
"It may seem like it, but they care for each other much more than anything." Kakashi stated.
Outside:
Minako started walked around campus and the sky was dark like her hair. She looked down at the ground and frowned. She felt her eyes water.
Her thoughts turned to Sasuke. The dark haired teen still cared very much about him. But at the same time they hated each other. She didn't want any of this, she just wanted to be his friend, not enemy.
Minako remembered the days when they were in love. He used to always talk to her about everything; they loved each other immensely and were always smiling. But now everything has changed; they never spoke, they detested each other and never smiled not even at each other.
Her eyes widened and she smelt another scent. She felt that presence; it was just like that monsters. She took her gun out and pointed it against the person's head. But she didn't look at the person.
"Kuran." She said through her teeth like she was talking to a dog.
"Minako-chan." Kaname stated. "If I was you I would lower that gun of yours. Shoot me and you'll be sentenced to death." She smirked at this.
"Killing you would be worth it. But…" Minako lowered her gun and placed it back into her sheath. "…I won't because I am a monster too."
"Wise decision, Minako-chan." He said and her smirk disappeared. "You have changed very much in 5 years."
"Get to the point." She growled.
"You have become extremely strong. I have heard many things about you and you're…occupation." She blinked and turned to him; he still looked the same but much older.
"What do you want to say, Kuran?" She asked.
"You're just suitable."
"For what?" The vampire hunter was losing her patience.
"I would like to make a deal with you." He said.
"Regarding what and what does it have to do with me?" Minako glared at him.
"It is regarding Yuki. You know very well how precious she is to me." Her eyes watered again and she was on the brink of tears.
"You are the most precious thing to me, Minako…I love you."
Sasuke's voice was so crisp and clear in her mind. It echoed in her heart like a drop in a cave. Minako opened her eyes and snapped out of daze.
"She is a vampire, a Pureblood vampire, my younger sister." The dark haired Level C vampire stared at Kaname without emotion but she was shocked in the inside. "I love her, and not only as just a sister, but as a lover too."
"How?" She asked.
"The same man who turned you into a vampire, my uncle, killed my parents." Her eyes widened and she blinked; Kaname was…like her. "He wanted to take my beloved Yuki."
"And you want me to protect her?" She asked.
"No, I want you to watch her. Make sure she doesn't get hurt…or fall in love with someone else other than me. Do not tell her." He replied.
"What will I get in return?" She asked with crossed arms.
"Something which both you and I want; Rido killed." Kaname stated.
"Alright, I will do it. But I have two conditions." Minako said.
"What are they?" The Pureblood asked.
"No one kills Rido but me, not you, any other vampire hunter or Yuki. I kill him with my bare hands." He stared at her; there was so much hatred and vengeance in her eyes. He hesitated at this and nodded. "The other condition, I will have a wish for you to make a reality."
"What is it?"
"I won't tell you now, but I will tell you after your uncle will die. Tell me, do you accept my conditions?" He thought hard about this and sighed.
"Alright." He said.
"Good, now get back to your class, Kuran." She smirked.
"I see you have fitted very well into this role as a prefect." He said. "Goodbye Minako-chan, have a good night."
"You too, Kuran." The dark haired 17 year-old said and left.
She was walking and her mind was on Sasuke again. She kept on remembering those memories, which were both beautiful yet painful.
Minako was walking quickly but that was until someone grabbed her wrist. Her light blue eyes widened; Aristocrat vampires.
"Why hello. You're new around here." He said and she didn't face him. "You smell lovely."
She smirked at this like an insane twisted person. She looked at the boy with blonde hair and electric blue eyes.
"You don't know who you're talking to, Hanabusa Aido." She smirked.
"How do you know my name?" He asked. Her eyes turned from light blue to bright crimson red for a moment and turned back to normal.
Aido and Kain gasped at this with wide eyes. She continued to smirk at him.
"I know nearly vampire's name here." She said.
Minako grabbed the vampire's arm and pulled it off with a painfully tight grip. She kicked his stomach and he bent down. She took this opportunity and kneed his jaw. She kicked him again and he took a few steps back.
She made the hand sign of the rat and closed her eyes. Then she made the hand signs of the ox, tiger and then the rabbit. She opened her blue eyes and shouted. "Weapons from Hell!" She shouted.
All kind of weapons like katana swords, kunai knives, and giant shurikens came out of the ground. They were extremely hot with steam coming out of it; they indeed came out of hell. They trapped Aido against a tree and limited his space to move. The blonde haired vampire squeaked with fear.
Kain gasped and growled at this. He lifted his arm and there was fire coming towards her. Her eyes widened as she watched the dancing flames of fire; she was frozen. Then she blinked and smiled; she was going to be burned to death.
Suddenly someone wrapped their strong arms around Minako and held her close to them. She opened her eyes to see Sasuke who performed his famous fire ball jutsu.
"STOP!" Tsunade and Kaname shouted and the fire disappeared. The headmaster and Kakashi were there too. The onyx eyed 17 year-old looked at the girl he loved. She stared up at him and he could see the fear in her eyes. He pulled her into a hug and her eyes widened. For a moment, she smiled and then she closed her eyes.
"Minako-chan!" Naruto shouted out and they pulled away from each other. The blonde haired shinobi stared at the them for a moment and blinked. "Are you both okay?" He asked and they both nodded at this.
"Mina-chan!" She heard Zero and he ran in. Yuki and Miyako were right behind him. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her. She hugged him back and Sasuke stared at them. The silver haired teen pulled away from him and placed his hands on her face. "Are you alright?" He asked.
"Y-yeah." She said.
"Minako-chan." Kaname said and Zero growled. His grip tightened on Minako but she got out of his grip. "I will ensure that these two fools receive a punishment for trying to harm you. I apologise on their behalf." She just nodded at this.
"Make sure they receive they get a harsh punishment. No one dares to touch my student." Tsunade growled. "If this happens again, it won't end well."
"It won't happen again, Hokage-sama." Kaname replied. Minako lifted her hand up at Aido. He was so afraid and was trembling. She concentrated her power and all the weapons sunk down. Aido, Kain and Kaname left.
It was silent and the dark haired girl walked up to Sasuke. She smiled at him and he stared at her with an emotionless face.
"Thank you, Sasuke." She said.
"Couldn't you be more careful?" He hissed and her eyes widened. "Next time that happens and I'm not there, then consider yourself dead. Why didn't you do anything, huh?!" He stepped towards her and she took a step back.
"Sa-" He didn't let her finish her sentence.
"Why were you so weak back there? Why didn't you move?" His voice rose and she growled.
"It's because I wanted to die." She growled and Sasuke's eyes widened. It felt like he was stabbed in the heart. They all gasped at this.
"Minako-chan, don't say that!" Naruto shouted.
She turned around but the boy she loved in the past grabbed her wrist stopping her. Minako pulled her hand out of his wrist and ran off.
"Why did you do that?" Zero asked through his teeth.
"It's none of your business. This matter is between me and Minako, so stay out of it." Sasuke stated and turned around. He walked off with his hands in his pocket.
When Sasuke got away from the others, he placed his hand onto a tree. He closed his eyes and breathed in and out; why did he do that? He opened his onyx eyes and tears fell down his cheeks. He started to sob.
"I still love her." Sasuke whispered.
Minako ran into the stables and saw her beloved horse. She ran to him and hugged his legs as she fell to her knees. Midnight Sky kneeled down to the ground and she hugged him. The dark haired teen started to sob and buried her face into her horse's neck.
"I still have my feelings for him, deep in my heart." Minako whispered so quietly as she placed her hand in her heart.
