I stared at the test in my hands seeing but not quite believing what I was seeing.
Of course I shouldn't have been so surprised really. Edward was pretty insatiable, and I was equally enthusiastic. We couldn't get enough of each other, and I felt a blush heat my cheeks just thinking about some of the more x rated memories from our honeymoon.
Looking back, I should have seen it coming. It all made sense: the sickness, the tiredness, and my sudden loss of appetite which I had put down to a virus.
I hadn't considered the possibility that I might be pregnant, but despite my initial shock I was undeniably thrilled at the new life growing inside of me.
I hoped Edward would feel the same way and that it wasn't too sudden for him.
Of course, we had discussed having children once we were married, but we had never set a specific time frame of when that might happen.
Who was I kidding? Of course Edward would be as happy as I was and I couldn't wait to surprise him with the news.
In fact, I already had an idea of the perfect way to tell him.
