Chapter 10

Belle was up early the next morning which was surprising since she hadn't gotten much sleep the previous night.

She sighed, she knew he was back as well and in a town like Beacon Hills it would be nearly impossible not eventually to run into him, but she will sure as hell try. She just wasn't ready to see him as yet.

She decide to get out of bed and get a head start on breakfast for Cayden and Phoebe. Today was their first day of school and even though they wouldn't admit it she knew they were nervous.

Once she was done showering the went to the kitchen and started to prepare breakfast which consisted of eggs, beacon and chocolate chip pancakes.

Belle looked up at the clock. 07:00 'better get them up' she thought to herself. She grabbed two mugs and made her way up the stairs.

She went to Phoebe's room first and placed Cayden's mug on the dresser before going to sit on the edge of phoebe's bed with her coffee in hand. "Phoebs? Phoebe come on, time to get your ass out of bed princess and into the shower" Belle chuckled.

"Five more minutes." Came the mumbled voice of Phoebe. "No, no you've slept enough, in the shower now. You don't want to be late for your first day of school now do you?" As soon as the word late came out of Belle's mouth Phoebe's eyes were wide awake. She gratefully took the coffee that Belle brought for her and downed it quickly before jumping out of bed and going into her bathroom.

Belle smiled at the now closed bathroom door. Phoebe and her had become very close over the years, practically sisters. There nothing that Belle wouldn't do for Phoebe and vice versa.

She got up and made her way to the door but not before picking up Cayden's cup of hot chocolate. she knows she shouldn't be giving a 10 year old hot chocolate so early in the morning but she found it impossible to ever deny her baby brother anything especially if he uses that puppy dog look on her.

She got to Cayden's room and peeped into the half open door. To her surprise he was wide awake doing something on his ipad most likely playing a game. "Hey kiddo your up early." Belle said coming into the room. "Couldn't sleep." Cayden said before a huge smile broke out on his face when he noticed the hot chocolate in his big sisters hands.

Belle smiled at his reaction "so I'm guessing your not really thrilled about starting a new school are you? I know you really miss your old friends but this is were our family is, this is where we belong." Belle said "I know" cayden whispered. "Everything is going to great here I promise after all this is our home." Cayden smiled a little, then headed towards his bathroom.

An hour later everyone was done eating breakfast and was on their way to school. Belle dropped Cayden of a school while phoebe drove herself.

WITH PHOEBE

'Okay you can do this, its just school no big deal' Phoebe mentally coached herself as she pulled up to Beacon Hills high. She parked her new GTI next to a blue jeep and hopped out.

She was just about to walk past the jeep when she caught a scent and her eyes widened. There was another werewolf here. Thank god that she was wearing the perfume which Belle gave her that hid her werewolf scent. God know where she even got that but she was now glad that she did cause the last thing they needed was a dispute over territory with a rival pack. As far Phoebe was concerned as long as nobody at this school knew she was a wolf then there would be no problems. The morning bell brought her out of her thoughts.

"Shit" she cursed before running towards the entrance of the school. She made her way to the principles office and collected her schedule from the secretary. Just as she walked out the door someone practically ran into her and she landed on the floor with a loud thud.

"I am so sorry." said a enduring voice from across her. She looked up and was met with two gorgeous blue eyes. He got up off the floor and held out a hand to her "Its okay, it was an accident." She said quietly giving him a shy smile and taking his hand and he pulled up off the ground. He laughed "uh yea I'm kinda late for class. I'm Isaac by the way." She smiled "Phoebe. Its nice to meet you." He returned the smile "likewise so you new in town?" He asked.

Phoebe was about to answer when she caught his scent and froze. He was a werewolf too. So she was right since his scent was different form the one outside that meant that there was more than just one and that probably meant that there WAS another pack here in beacon hills now.

"Uh aren't you late for class." She asked nervously. He scratched the back of his head before answering. "Yes that I am, I better get going. Um do you need help finding your first class?" He asked but she shook her head. "No thanks you. You should hurry though, you know before you get in some real trouble." She said. "Right. Well I guess ill see you later then." He said giving her a breath taking smile and she couldn't help herself from smile back, a light blush rising in her cheeks. She turned around and practically ran away from him heading to her first class.

WITH BELLE

Belle was on her way to see Deaton. She had just dropped Cayden of at school and thought it was finally time to visit her former mentor and old friend, after all he was the reason she had come back to Beacon Hills in the first place.

See about three week ago Belle had gotten a call from the emissary and he had told her that Deucalion was back in Beacon Hills. But Belle had refused to come home wanting noting to do with him. She knew of the monster that he had become, making the other alpha's kill of their packs to join his so called elite pack. She simply refused to put Cayden and Phoebe in danger by moving them back to Beacon Hills, she was dead set against it.

Well that was until Deaton told her that the person Deucalion is after is DEREK. Without even think about it again, she packed up her family and flew them back home. She couldn't sit by and let Deucalion hurt her Derek because the fact was that no matter how long its been since they had seen each other, no matter what had happened between them in the past. Derek was still her family, her best friend and she will always love him and nothing will ever change that. Belle knew that deep down she will always belong to the hale pack.

But in order to bring her family back to Beacon Hills and to keep them safe from Deucalion at the same time, she had to make sure that nobody knew they were werewolves. So she went and consulted a Very old but powerful emissary that she met in london and she had given her a special elixir when blocked ones werewolf scent from other werewolves.

Belle thought it impossible and didn't believe it at first but after she tested it she was really surprised to see it actually worked. So she gave it to Phoebe and Cayden in the form of perfume. This way even if they did run into deucalion or one of his alphas they wouldn't notice that they were wolfs too. And as far as she knew deucalion still didn't knew that she finally shifted into her wolf and her being an alpha meant that she could mask her scent as well.

So that was the reason she was back home. She was here for Derek, she was here because even though she know he would never ask her for it. He need her help and she will do what ever she could to help him.

Belle pulled up in front of the animal clinic and let a large smile grace her face. She couldn't wait to see Deaton. She hoped out of her car and made her way inside. She opened the door and the bell which hung atop of it rang indicating her presence.

"We're closed" said a voice coming from inside and recognized it immediately. She ignored the voice and walked inside the examination room but froze when she realized that Deaton was not alone.

He looked up from his conversation with Deaton and his eyes locked with hers. His entire body stiffened and his eyes widened in shock. She was sure that she was wearing the same expression on her face since she didn't expect to see him so soon.

"Belle?" He barely whispered

"Derek" I breath

"Is that really you?" He asked as he walked towards me

"yes its me" I said quietly my eyes not leaving his. I could tell he couldn't believe it. "Belle?" He asked again still shocked. I gave him a small smile. "Yes Derek." I said and I watched as his face twisted in an array of different emotions before it settled at one emotion I've come to be very familiar with, Anger.

It was almost as if I could hear him thinking 'Why is she here now. Where was she when I really needed her.' The was a small silence before he spoke "What are you doing here?" He said to me harshly.

"Ill leave you two alone, I know you have a lot to talk about." Deaton said went to make his way out of the room. He stop by me giving me a brief hug "its good to see you Isabel." He said and I just gave him a small smile before he walked out of the room.

"You shouldn't have come back Belle" I turned my attention back to Derek "I'm here to help Derek and by the looks of things you could use all the help you can get." I said giving me a knowing look. "I don't need your help Belle. I don't need you, this is my problem and ill handle it." He said sternly and I scoffed at him. I could tell he was getting really annoyed.

Before I could reply he spoke again "look Isabel I honestly don't have time for any of this right now. This situation with the alphas is dangerous so if you know what good for you you'd pretend that you never saw me today and you'd pack your bags and as far away from here as you could." Derek said and then rushed out of the clinic not giving me a chance to reply.

If Derek Hale really thought I was just going to run away with my tail stuck between my legs he had another thing coming. I'm apart of this now whether he likes it or not. I'm NOT going anywhere.
