Ugh so I wasn't going to update this so soon but i'm stuck on a horrible train up to uni and we've already been delayed for an hour so I have some time to kill.

As soon as Beck found out about the baby it was as though a weight was lifted off Jade's shoulders and subsequently her morning sickness became much less severe, going from intense vomiting to just a little nausea of an evening. Beck had taken over everything from her doctors appointments to making sure she had a constant supply of oreos. He was actually extremely positive about the whole situation. If Jade ever felt stressed or scared, Beck remained calm and let her know everything would be alright.

Tori had received a phone call from her parents letting her know they wouldn't be back for another 2 months at the earliest. This wasn't unusual for the Vega sisters who were used to living independently due to their parents busy jobs. But Tori had felt the need to tell her Mum about Jade. Tori's Mum hadn't been surprised and seemed to think that it had been waiting to happen for the past three years. Tori felt that was a little harsh but didn't argue with her since she agreed to let Jade stay with them. It was actually during Sikowitz class that the one thing they had all avoided talking about for the past few days was finally addressed.

'So Beck, our movie star!' Sikowitz said excitedly 'When do you leave for London? I do hope when you have crowds of people swarming you, desperate for your autograph, you remember us'

Beck laughed as he nervously wrapped his arm around Jades waist. His flight to the UK was tomorrow but he hadn't even considered actually leaving once he found out about the pregnancy. Smiling guiltily at his acting teacher who had played a large part in getting him the audition in the first place Beck cleared his throat.

'Yeah, I don't think i'm gonna do it' Beck said, a hint of regret in his voice. Jade turned her head and looked at him shocked.

'Good Ghandi why ever not?' Sikowitz cried, 'You do understand what you're giving up here Beck? This is the lead role in what will surely be next summers hit block buster'

Beck actually looked devastated as most of their class turned to stare in his direction but he swallowed his disappointment before speaking again.

'I know this role would establish me in the industry and the film, the role, everything looks amazing but I have commitments here. I can't just leave' Beck watched Jade carefully at this point who was anxiously scratching the black nail polish off her fingers. Thankfully the bell rang breaking the awkward silence that filled the classroom. Jade grabbed her bag and fled the classroom instantly as Beck just ran his hand through his hair watching after her. Sikowitz looked disappointed but didn't say any more on the matter as his students left the classroom.

'Beck you can't give up this role' Andre said as soon as they were out of the ear-sight of their classmates.

'I got my girlfriend pregnant Andre' Beck replied irritatedly 'What else am I supposed to do? She needs me here not halfway across the world'

'But Beck this is huge. This is your dream!' Andre cried exasperatedly.

'I know alright! But Jade...'

'Jade will be fine! We'll all be here and we'll look after her' Andre said genuinely, Tori came up beside him overhearing their conversation

'You'll be gone three months right? Well since she's already three months along, you'll only be away for the 2nd trimester which is the easiest, then you'll be back for when it gets more difficult for her'

'I guess-' Beck began.

'Wait she's 3 months pregnant?' Andre said in sudden realisation. Beck just gave Andre a sarcastic look as his eyes bulged and he started laughing. 'Woah dude..'

'How many times will we get this?' Beck sighed looking at Tori but with a slight smirk on his face.

'I don't think we're going to let this go, not for a while at least' Tori grinned. 'Unless you or Jade can come up with another explanation other than "it just sort of happened."

'I knew it!' Andre was still laughing. 'I knew you two were hooking up since I caught you both in Wankos'

'What you never told me about this!' Tori turned to Andre shocked. Beck ran a hand through his hair as he mumbled something about this conversation being really awkward.

'Remember how we had like an hour to look around Wankos before we hid in those bins? Well I caught Beck and Jade in the music aisle in the corner behind the Cd's. They said they were just talking.. Ha talking with their tongues maybe. Jade was practically dry humping his leg and-'

'Woah okay, I get it' Tori cried, not needing the mental image as Beck shook his head at Andre.

'Anyway you need to talk to Jade about this Beck. Jade is doing ok, especially now her stress levels are down and she finally accepts the pregnancy. Her doctor said so herself that they're both healthy. Andre and I will be here if she needs anything but if you give up this role you might regret it for the rest of your life.'

As soon as the bell had rung for lunch Jade left without talking to anyone. She needed to get away from all the tension in that classroom so she went to the one place she felt was her solace in that school, the janitors closet. She was convinced that everyone would think that it was her forcing Beck to stay. That it was her crazy jealousy at work once again. But she hadn't told him once, not to take the role. Sure a huge part of her wanted him here with her but she knew how much this opportunity meant to him, to both of them.

'Oooh is this a closet party?' Cat poked her head in the door of the closet. Jade sighed as Cat skipped towards her innocently.

'Cat if I tell you something you have to promise not to talk to anyone about it. Beck, Tori and Andre already know so you can talk to them but you can't go shouting this out to everyone in school' Jade said seriously and Cat nodded enthusiastically. She loved when Jade told her secrets.

'I'm pregnant' Jade said quietly.

'YOU'RE HAVING A BABY!' Cat screamed, jumping up and down in excitement.

'Oh my god. What did I just say?' Jade snapped at the red head, shutting her up fast.

'You're having a baby' Cat whispered guiltily. Jade just nodded looking out of the window of the closet hoping noone overheard.

'This is the best news I ever heard ever' Cat squealed giddily wrapping her arms around her friend 'I'm gonna be an auntie!'

Jade laughed. She had been scared to tell Cat but now she wondered why she had ever been worried. Of course Cat would be delighted. Cat wouldn't focus on the negatives like most people, she would only be happy for her.

'Will you help me with the baby Kitty?' Jade asked sounding almost vulnerable. She already had Beck, Tori and Andre but she also knew she would need her best friends help.

'Jadey, of course I will, you don't even have to ask!' Cat hugged her best friend and for once Jade didn't push her away. When someone was hugging her she felt safe and loved and comfortable. Wait.. No, I hate this! Jade reassured herself. But she still didn't let got of the little red head for another couple of minutes.

'So is Beck the babies Daddy' Cat asked naively as they finally pulled apart. 'Yes, he's the babies Daddy' Jade frowned, suddenly reminded of why she was hiding in the closet in the first place.

'Whats wrong Jadey?' Cat saddened 'Doesn't Beck want to be the baby's Daddy?'

'No, no, It's not that. But he's supposed to be a successful actor. He's supposed to film in Europe and go to film premieres and big parties and I just feel like i'm holding him back' Jade admitted.

'You're not' Beck suddenly appeared at the door of the closet.

'Eavesdropping?' Jade said accusingly, a scowl on her face as Beck closed the door behind him.

'Yay Beck you're gonna be a Daddy woooo' Cat cried hugging the fluffy haired boy tightly.

'Thanks Cat' Beck smiled but he wasn't paying much attention to her as he watched Jade who had her arms crossed and was looking away with a thoughtful look on her face. 'Cat I think Robbie was looking for you urgently!' Beck said suddenly. Jade gave Beck a sarcastic look at his obvious lie.

'Urgently!' Cat cried looking at Beck with her eyes wide 'Jade I have to go, Robbie needs me urgently!' Jade raised her eyebrows as the red head ran out of the closet in the search for their nerdy friend. As soon as the door closed, Jade sat down in the corner of the room and patted the ground next to her signaling for Beck to do the same. He did as he was told and Jade snuggled up to him as soon as he did.

'You need to do the movie babe' Jade said softly.

'I have commitments here, you're my commitment Jade. There will be other movies'

'Beck be honest with yourself. If you don't get on that flight tomorrow you'll be blackballed throughout the industry, you will be letting a lot of people down'

'But if I get on that flight I'll be letting you down. I want to be here with you Jade, I'm not one of those guys that just abandons their girlfriend.'

'You're not. It's only for three months and then you're coming back. I won't let you give this up'

'But I don't want to leave you like this, not even for 3 months'

'You're not leaving me like anything. I already feel better than I have for the past few months.. I haven't thrown up in days. All you're gonna miss is me getting fatter and crankier. This could be your one big shot at becoming an actor. You have to go to London.'

'Jade you're pregnant. If something happens and i'm not here i'll never forgive myself'

'I'll be fine' Jade reassured him

'I'll miss the ultrasound.. again' Beck looked down completely devastated.

'Well I'll send you the photos and then when he or she is born, you'll be the first person to see them' Jade pointed out. Beck still looked apprehensive about it.

'Babe, please do the movie.' Jade took his hand into hers and placed it on her stomach as if to prove to him they'd be ok. Beck was quiet for a long time as he thought through everything. Jade somehow managed to curl herself on to his lap and snuggled her face into the crook of his neck as she waited for him to speak again.

'Will you video-chat me everyday?' Beck asked eventually.

'Yes' Jade agreed

'And if anything happens or you want me to come back. You just have to say. I will. I mean it Jade, I will be on that next flight to LA' Beck said seriously.

'You won't have to' Jade reassured him, she didn't know where her sudden confidence had come from but she knew Beck had to go. Jade kissed his cheek softly before pulling his arms around her body.

'You are so cuddly' Beck grinned. Of all the pregnancy symptoms Jade had suffered through.. the desire to be cuddled constantly was definitely one he could get used to

'Shut up, I am not' Jade said warningly but she didn't let go of her hold on him.

'If you say so babe' Beck smirked, cuddling her closer.

That night Beck and Jade sat down with his parents and told them Jade was pregnant. At first they were worried and kind of disappointed but the more they talked about it the more supportive they became. By the end of the night Beck's mother was teary eyed with happiness and Beck's father was congratulating them both and saying he wanted to make the spare bedroom into a nursery. They found out that Beck's mother also suffered with horrible morning sickness so she had lots of advice for the younger woman. Beck tried once again to talk Jade out of him going to London but she was having none of it. This would be life changing for him if the movie did as successfully as it was predicted.

Jade ended up staying the night at Beck's. It was their last night together before Beck would leave for the UK and they wanted to make the most of it as they would be apart for so long. The next morning Jade had her second prenatal appointment. They would be meeting the midwife for the first time and they both had a lot of questions for her. Jade cuddled up to Beck as they sat in the waiting room of the hospital. Beck hoped with all his being that Jade liked the midwife because otherwise things would become extremely difficult. When they were finally called through Beck noticed the midwife was quite young, she was definitely still in her early twenties. At first he was worried that Jade wouldn't like this but actually she seemed relieved it wasn't an older midwife. Jade already felt juvenile and unprepared, she didn't need an older midwife making her feel even younger.

'Hi I'm Emma, I'll be your midwife for the entirety of your pregnancy. Nice to meet you both.' The midwife introduced herself. 'So you're Jade and are you dad?' She smiled, looking at Beck.

'Yeah, i'm Beck' Beck smiled back nervously.

'First of all congratulations! This might all seem a bit all over the place at the moment but hopefully after today everything will be a lot clearer. I want to get to know you both and your baby. We need to talk about nutrition and diet, pelvic floor exercises, antenatal classes, breastfeeding, where you want to give birth-'

'We need to decide that already?' Jade said her eyes wide, panic laced in her voice as Beck took hold of her hand.

'No you don't need to make any decisions yet but it's good to start thinking about these things' Emma explained calmingly. Emma answered some of their questions before going on to do a blood test and took Jades blood pressure. They spent an hour just discussing everything to do with the pregnancy. It was an overwhelming amount of information to take in and with each thing they discussed, it became a little more real.

'According to your first scan, your due date is July 5th' Emma informed the couple at the end of the appointment 'and you'll definitely be back in the US by then?' Emma directed the question to Beck.

'Definitely' Beck promised.

'In that case, good luck with the movie and Jade, I'll see you at your 20 week scan. You're doing fine so just keep your stress levels down and don't be afraid to let other people help you out while Beck's not here' The goth rolled her eyes at her advice but Emma just smirked having gotten a taste of Jades personality during the appointment. Emma was young but she was strong willed and strict when needed, she had a feeling Jade was going to test her but somehow she knew they were going to get along extremely well.

As soon as the appointment was over the couple had to head straight to the airport. They didn't really talk for the entirety of the journey as the reality of how long they would be apart began to set in. Jade pulled into a parking space and Beck climbed out of the car and got his suitcase from the back. Hand in hand they walked into the departures gate of the airport.

Once inside the airport they immediately spotted Beck's parents and all their friends in a group near the luggage drop off. Jade let go of Beck's hand and went and stood next to Tori as Beck hugged his parents goodbye. He went round each of their friend individually. Robbie hugged him and asked him to bring him back some marmite from England. Luckily Cat threw her arms around his neck before he could agree to do that, telling him she was gonna miss him so much. Next was Andre who told him to have an awesome time and attempted to give him a manly handshake before deciding to hug him after all.

'Enjoy London and filming the movie, everything here will be fine' Andre said, noticing how anxious Beck looked right now. Jade was looking away so Beck couldn't tell how she felt which wasn't making this any easier. Next was Tori; she gave him a hug before telling him how proud she was of him.

'Thanks Tor' Beck gave a small smile before adding weakly 'Look after her for me?'

'I promise' Tori said genuinely, knowing how hard this was for him. Finally he turned to Jade but his heart froze as he realised she was crying, silently wiping her eyes and pretending not to.

'Hey you' Beck said softly, pulling her into his arms and rubbing her back gently.

'Sorry' Jade whispered, burying her face into his chest. She didn't mean to get this emotional, she was the one who had convinced him she'd be fine without him, she wanted to make it easy as possible for him to leave.

'It's okay' Beck kissed her lips until she kissed back just as lovingly. They held each other silently for another couple of minutes until Beck's father tapped him on the shoulder and told him it was time he checked in.

'I love you' Beck stroked her cheek as she nodded in response unable to speak. Beck's Mum wrapped her arm around the pale girl as they broke apart and Beck said a final goodbye before making his way into the airport.

'You alright sweetie?' Beck's Mum asked a few minutes after as they walked out of the airport together. Jade nodded trying to hold the tears back.. it's only three months she kept telling herself.

'Have you got your car? Do you think one of your friends can drive for you, I don't want you driving when you're this upset' Beck's Mum said looking around her sons friends anxiously.

'I'm fine' Jade croaked, wiping away the last of her tears.

'It's okay, I'll drive Jade' Andre offered. 'Tori do you want a lift?' Tori agreed and the three of them said goodbye to Beck's parents before making their way to Jades car. Andre climbed in the driving seat and Jade handed him over the keys reluctantly.

'If you hurt this car in any way Andre, I will crush your skull into a soup and then feed you to a pack of wild dogs' Jade said warningly. Andre gulped before reversing out of the car park extra carefully.

'Are you alright now Jade?' Tori asked once they were well on their way home from the airport.

'I don't even know what came over me, it's only three months' Jade dismissed her earlier behaviour.

'It's probably hormones' Tori joked but truthfully she thought that probably was the genuine reason for a lot of those tears.

'Andre pull over here!' Jade suddenly said urgently

'Why, whats wrong?' Andre said anxiously as he did as he was told and pulled over. Jade quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the car door.

'Wait Jade, what are you doing?' Tori shouted after her sounding worried.

'I want an oreo milkshake' Jade smirked as if it was obvious pointing to the milkshake cafe that they'd conveniently stopped outside 'Come on! She demanded laughing at their panic. Andre shook his head at Tori before following the pregnant girl into the cafe. They'd both promised Beck to look after Jade while he was away. This might just turn out to be the most wearing three months of their life.
