Hi :)

Disclaimer: I don't own victorious

It was three in the morning and Jade was tossing and turning in bed. She wouldn't usually be up so late but for the last week Andre had been staying at Tori's place and playing the piano all night long. Other than having more time to talk to Beck in the middle of the night, Jade found the whole thing irritating and exhausting. Covering her ears with her hands, the brunette closed her eyes and once again attempted to fall asleep. She had just began to drift off when once again the sound of Andre's stupid riff resonated throughout the house.

'Ughhhhhh!' Jade moaned loudly. Why couldn't Andre write his song in the day time or better yet some place else? This was insane. Jade didn't think she had ever wanted a full nights sleep more in her life. She was just beginning to rub her fingers on her temples when she heard a light knock on the door.

'Oh God.. You're awake too?' Tori asked as she entered the room. Obviously, she had also been tossing and turning by the looks of her hair that was knotty and almost twice its usual volume.

'This is the fourth night in a row he's done this!' Jade exclaimed angrily.

'I'm so tired' Tori whined, collapsing on the bed next to Jade.

'How can Trina sleep through that?' Jade asked baffled.

'My parents soundproofed her bedroom when we moved here.. Wait? How come you can't sleep through that?' Tori looked confused, remembering the time Jade slept through a war in Yerba.

'I don't know!' Jade cried exasperatedly, holding her head in her hands 'I've never not slept through anything! What is he even doing playing piano at this hour?'

'He's writing a song for Kojeezy' Tori shrugged in explanation.

'For how long?' Jade wailed. Andre suddenly began drumming the riff on the piano once again and Jade buried her head into the pillow attempting to block out the sound.

'Right, that's it!' Tori cried standing up.

'What are you doing?'

'This ends now!' Tori's eyes widened as she strode angrily out of the room determined. She stormed down the stairs in a rage. She was tired, annoyed and a significant part of her thought she might be going insane. When Andre had asked her to let him finish his song at her house she had no idea that meant he would move in, take over the living room and play piano at all hours in the morning.

'Hey!' Tori shouted angrily as she reached the living room.

'Oh hey' Andre smiled. 'What are you doing up so late? You oughtta be asleep.'

'Yeah, I sure oughtta!' Tori replied sarcastically

'What's the deal?'

'The deal is this!' Tori cried gesturing dramatically to Andre and piano, 'It's three in the morning and there are people here like me who are trying to sleep! So if you need to be up writing your music this late you need to go somewhere else! Take it or take it.'

'Well.' Andre snuffed.

'No. No, No, No, No, No, No. Don't give me "Well" You should be apologising!'

'You're the one who said "You wanna write your song here?" and then I said "Do you mind if I do it here?" and then you said "Why no, not at all"'

'I didn't think you'd bring in suitcases and move in and keep me up all night!' Tori yelled.

'Okay if you're gonna treat me like this, I'm gonna go on home!' Andre grabbed his jacket 'What do you think of that?'

'It was my idea!' Tori cried as Andre slammed the door behind him. Tori held her head in her palm and sighed before trudging back upstairs to bed. She felt awful and wasn't sure why. Even though she knew she'd done the right thing, as both her and Jade were shattered, she just couldn't shake that sick feeling in the back of her stomach that felt horrible for letting him down. But when her head finally hit the pillow, she closed her eyes savouring the silence and before she knew it she had fallen in to a deep, deep sleep.

Unlike Tori, Jade didn't manage to get any sleep that night. Once Andre left all she could concentrate on was this weird fluttering feeling in her stomach that left her feeling simultaneously ravenous and queasy. She had a math test the next morning that she barely managed keep her eyes open for, let alone complete any of the questions and by the time lunch came around she felt sure that if she shut her eyes she wouldn't ever be able to open them again. Thankfully Cat was already sat at a table in the Asphalt cafe so she sat down next to her and just let her talk at her as she rested her head on the table. When Tori, Robbie and Andre approached the two girls with their lunches a few minutes later Tori frowned noticing immediately that the pale girl was asleep.

'Jade.. wake up' Tori shook her shoulder gently taking a seat next to her.

'Get off' Jade grumbled, turning her head to face the other direction. Tori rolled her eyes and looked at Andre crossly.

'See this is why I didn't want you keeping us up all night' Tori hissed as Andre grimaced guiltily knowing it probably was his fault.

'You said I could write my song at yours' Andre muttered vexingly.

The group continued chatting and eating lunch for another twenty minutes but Tori kept a wary eye on the pregnant girl. It wasn't healthy for her to be this tired in the middle of school and she couldn't help but notice that other students were staring at her suspiciously.

'Jade.. Sit up or I'm making Andre drive you home' Tori said warningly, 'Jade?'

The brunette just snored softly and kept her head firmly on the table. Tori sat up turning to look exasperatedly towards the dreaded guy who was watching the interaction nervously.

'That's it she's going home' Tori deduced putting her books and lunch into her bag before turning once again to her sleeping friend. She shook Jades arm and even tried poking her but she was fast asleep and wasn't stirring. 'Come on!' Tori cried exasperatedly.

'Jadey, look a bunny!' Cat squealed, knowing Jades weakness for the fluffy animals.

'Huh?' Jade sat up disorientated.

'Hehe tricked you' Cat giggled.

'Get your bag' Tori ordered, standing up.

'Don't tell me what to do' Jade retorted, watching the tanned girl with thinned eyes. Tori sighed and looked towards Andre pleadingly who rolled his eyes leaning forwards to talk to the goth.

'Jade come on' Andre said firmly

'Come where?' Jade asked confused.

'Home. I'm driving you home' Andre explained.

'I'd rather stay here' Jade retorted laying her head back on the table, feeling slightly hurt that Andre would suggest that after he knew how she'd been kicked out.

'He means my place' Tori explained, shaking her shoulder.

'Fine, I'm coming!' Jade snapped shaking Tori off, finally standing up and grabbing her bag from under the table. The three teenagers made their way across the cafeteria and out into the car park. It was a tense, quiet drive back to Tori's place. Jade was just too exhausted to talk whereas Tori and Andre still felt irritated with each other, both feeling as though the other ought to apologise. Andre dropped the two girls off before driving himself back to school. Tori unlocked the door of her house and immediately Jade crashed on the sofa drained.

'Ugh thank God!' Jade exhaled closing her eyes as Tori walked over to the television.

'Do you want a movie?' Tori offered holding up a couple of DVD's. Jade shrugged, not really caring as she knew she wouldn't be able to keep her eyes open for it anyway. Tori put on some cliche comedy before taking a seat at the other end of the sofa to the pale girl. They both started watching the move but it wasn't long before Jade began to yawn. She kicked her shoes off and moved further up the sofa so she could stretch out her legs and ended up leaning on Tori as she rested. Tori looked down at her friend shocked.

'Err Jade?' Tori said extremely surprised that the brunette was willingly touching her.

'What?' Jade asked in a warning tone, daring her to complain. They both went back to the movie but Tori was completely aware that Jade was slowly shuffling closer and eventually the pale girl pulled Tori's arms around her and nestled into her side.

'If you want a cuddle, you just have to ask' Tori smirked, remembering Jade's unusual pregnancy symptom of wanting to be hugged all the time.

'I don't want a cuddle' Jade argued sleepily.

'Yes you do' Tori laughed as Jade just snuggled further onto Tori's lap.

'I'm just cold' Jade shrugged, her eyes closed.

'Right.. and you and Beck just hang out in the janitors closet during free period' Tori raised an eyebrow.

'Shut up' Jade said irritatedly and Tori shook her head going back to the movie. She was too tired to argue with her right now and she soon felt her own eyes getting heavy. Tori wasn't sure at what point she fell asleep but it must have been soon after Jade as she couldn't remember much more before she woke up a few hours after their conversation by a knocking on the door.

'Who is it?' The tanned girl called out sleepily.

'It's me' Andre's voice sounded nervous as he called from the front path.

'It's open!' Tori replied, wiping her eyes and sitting up slightly.

'Hey I just wanted to-' Andre began as he entered the room, but Tori shushed him pointing to Jade who was still curled up as much as she could these days with her head rested on Tori's knees fast asleep. Tori stroked her hair lightly but she didn't think there was any chance of waking her right now, as she was obviously in a deep sleep. Andre sighed as he took a seat on the sofa, the other side of Tori.

'I feel like a terrible person' Andre confessed holding the bridge of his nose with his thumb and finger.

'Don't be silly, you didn't wake her' Tori assured him, pointing to the pale girl who was still completely passed out. Andre looked over at Jade and sighed, not feeling any better.

'Yeah, but I shouldn't have kept you both awake in the first place, it was selfish and I'm sorry' Andre apologised sincerely.

'It's ok' Tori said trying to reassure him but he immediately shook his head dismissively.

'It's really not. It wasn't fair on you and it wasn't fair on Jade. I feel like I've let Beck down'
Andre admitted sadly.

'What?' Tori exclaimed shocked 'Andre you haven't let anyone down! It was just bad timing'

'I promised Beck that I'd look after Jade whilst he's in England, not the opposite.. she's exhausted!' Andre gestured towards her completely guilt ridden. Tori took hold of his hand interlocking her fingers with his. Andre stopped and looked down at their hands confused before looking back up at Tori's apologetic face.

'She's fine. She just need's to sleep. You have to stop thinking like that, you're an amazing friend to Beck and to Jade and to.. me.' Tori blushed looking down as she finished the end of that sentence.

'You mean that?' Andre asked huskily.

'Of course I mean it.' Tori assured him 'You're sweet and kind. You're a great guy'

Andre stopped looking into Tori's beautiful brown eyes for a second, just staring at her lips. His heart was racing and he didn't know what was coming over him but he just knew he couldn't hold back from kissing her any more.

'What?' Tori smiled, but she could feel the sparks between them already and she knew subconsciously she was leaning in. Andre's lips parted slightly and all she could do was close her eyes and let what felt completely natural overcome her and then as if all at once, his soft lips were pressed against hers. Their lips touched for less than five seconds but it was consuming and warm and left her breathless.

'Oh.. wow' Tori exclaimed speechless, as they just stared at each other unsure what to do next.

'Sorry' Andre apologised, looking down. He had let his feelings for Tori get the best of him and now he had probably ruined their friendship. She wasn't looking for a relationship right now and she'd made that perfectly clear last week after her encounter with Sean.

'No don't be' Tori shook her head before admitting shyly 'I kind of liked it.'

Andre raised an eyebrow before reaching out to caress Tori's cheek lightly, she looked up at him vulnerably as he leant in again. This time they kissed for longer and Tori wrapped her arms around Andre's neck wondering why they had never done this before. Maybe Jade was wrong.. Maybe you don't "just know", maybe sometimes you need a bit of time before you figure it out who you're supposed to be with.

They were kissing for a while and when they finally broke apart, Andre wrapped an arm around Tori's shoulder and she leant on his chest, holding his hand contentedly. The couple talked quietly together until Jade finally began to stir next to them. Yawning widely, she sat up and squinted looking at the cuddling pair confused.

'Hey Sleeping Beauty' Andre joked 'You okay now?'

'Uh huh.' Jade wiped her eyes slightly adrift 'What time is it?'

'Half seven' Tori checked her pearphone, was it really that time already? Time had gone by so quickly.

'I'm starving' Jade said as she pulled herself off the couch, she turned towards the kitchen when suddenly she stopped completely still with her eyes wide. Tori and Andre frowned as they watched her facial expression change from one of confusion to surprise to disbelief.

'Are you ok?' Tori asked nervously, pulling her hand out of Andre's and watching the pale girls face slightly concerned. Jade sat back down on the couch holding her stomach bewildered.

'Jade.. you're making me nervous, can you say something?' Tori said seriously. She was beginning to freak out as she watched the pale girl feel around her stomach in a discomposed manner.

'The baby kicked' Jade said quietly.

'What!?' Tori exclaimed excitedly as Jade continued to feel around her stomach. Once again that look of complete shock and disbelief overtook her face but this time she couldn't suppress her smile.

'Oh my God' Jade cried excitedly as she looked over at Tori and Andre who were both watching her with their eyes wide.

'Are you sure?' Tori asked enthusiastically as Jade nodded, biting her lip slightly.

'Yes, I've been feeling something for a week, like butterflies or something but nothing like this, oh my God.. I'm a Mum!' Jade looked between her two friends in total shock as they just smiled back happy for her.

'I've got to call Beck!' Jade exclaimed, swiftly running upstairs.

'Did she only just realise that?' Andre joked. Tori laughed, shaking her head before pressing her lips against his once more.

That evening, Tori couldn't hold back her smile as she lay curled up next to her boyfriend on the sofa. Her older sister was practicing martial arts in the dining area as Jade sat on the other sofa, one hand on her bump, exchanging what were no doubt sappy texts with Beck. Life was always going to be a little crazy but somehow, Tori got the feeling that everything was working itself out.

I don't know about you, but I think everything's going just a little bit too perfectly right now.. :P How long will that last?
