Disclaimed: I don't own victorious

Shit. That was the only word that came to Beck's mind when he checked the departure board that afternoon and to his dismay realised there was a six hour delay on his flight back to LA. He sighed and took a seat on one of the cool metal benches in JFK airport and pressed his head into his hands. Obviously something had to go wrong, everything had been going just too perfect.

It had been a Monday evening when unexpectedly the director called everybody back onto set. Although they had been scheduled to work in the UK for another two weeks, due to some scenes being cut and others rescripted they were free to leave in five days. Most of the cast were British so this news didn't affect them much but Beck was ecstatic and literally ran back to his hotel room to phone Jade.

Honestly he had felt completely sick breaking the news to Jade that he wouldn't be coming home the weekend he'd promised. He already missed her more than he thought possible and felt ridden with guilt for even being here in the first place. She was extremely angry. If he was honest she'd taken the news harder than he'd expected - which worried him.

But he still preferred her anger and bitterness towards him than the morose and tearful Jade he'd been faced with recently. He could tell from the tired look in her eyes and the slight under-toning sadness of her voice that she wasn't coping with this, even if she wasn't about to admit it. She had put up some sort of wall that Beck was finding extremely difficult to break down from the other side of the world but it was obvious that she was struggling and unhappy and he desperately needed to get home to her.

But that was part of the reason why he suddenly came to his senses half way through dialing her. His director was very spontaneous and as much as Beck wanted to tell Jade this amazing news, he really didn't want to have to put her through the disappointment if for some reason he was forced to stay in England longer. Later on that evening Beck phoned Tori who agreed with him that it would be better if he waited out these last few days until it was certain. But a couple of days before he was due to fly home he came up with another idea and decided not to tell Jade at all. Instead he wanted to do something special.. Surprise her somehow, maybe take her out for food, or give her a massage or both. His mind was crammed with ideas. He just wanted to make it up to her for having to leave for so long.

Jade had almost given him a heart attack a few weeks ago. Apparently his Mum had insisted on taking Jade and Cat out on a girly shopping trip and after finally convincing Jade to buy maternity clothes they decided to go see a movie. Despite Jade's protests Cat had begged and begged to see the new Disney movie Frozen. Practice for when the baby comes, his Mother had agreed with her. Jade moaned but to everyones shock she actually loved the movie.

That evening Jade phoned Beck six times before the director finally allowed the overwrought 18 year old to answer his phone. His blood pressure must have skyrocketed as he answered the call convinced something awful must have happened. The feeling of relief was intense when Beck realised what she wanted. She wanted to name the baby Elsa. They had been discussing baby names for months and none of the names they'd come up with had really felt right. Beck could tell that there was something different about this one though. Nevertheless she still had to confirm it several times before he actually took her seriously.

'You want to name our daughter after a Disney princess?!' Beck repeated shocked.

'Queen! And no I want to name her Elsa because it's a beautiful name. It's Scandinavian and means true and noble. She's an ice queen and strong and she's voiced by Idina Menzel. Legend. Please Beck, please just think about it' Jade started using the cutest, pleading voice he thought he'd ever heard pass her lips.

'It is a pretty name. I can imagine us having a baby Elsie' Beck said after a brief moment of consideration.

'Elsa.' Jade corrected him.

'I'd call her Elsie' Beck grinned, falling more in love with the name the more he heard it.

'You're such a sap' Jade retorted, but Beck could tell she was happy he'd approved of the name.

'You're the one who wants to name her after a disney character.' Beck smirked before continuing to listen to Jades rant on all the reasons why she wanted this name. She needn't have bothered. Beck already thought Elsa was perfect.

The Cowboy Luau Dance was tonight and Beck had decided that was the ideal setting for his surprise return. All he'd had to do was book his flight and make sure his friends got Jade there and he would finally be able to hold his beautiful girlfriend in his arms. But now all his plans and persuading were messed up. If he made it to the Cow Wow at all it would be a miracle. Deflated Beck pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialled Tori's number.

'Oh hey Robbie!' Tori picked up after the fourth ring.

'What?' Beck replied confused.

'Of course I can help you with the pop vocals assignment' Tori continued and Beck shook his head realising Tori was obviously around his girlfriend. He waited for a moment, listening to a lot of scurrying and eventually the sound a door closing on the other end.

'Why aren't you on a plane?!' Tori hissed exasperatedly.

'I'm delayed in New York for six hours' Beck grimaced explaining the situation.

'Are you kidding? Oh my God you're not going to make it are you?' Tori exclaimed.

'I'm trying Tori' Beck started to feel annoyed. 'It's out of my control.'

'What are you going to do?'

'I'm going to be there.. just late'

'Beckkk...' Tori whined 'It's taken us so long to persuade Jade to go in the first place. She only agreed to come if we promised to just stay for a couple of hours.'

'I'm sure once she's there she'll want to stay' Beck said exasperatedly.

'I don't know. You haven't been here.. I can see why she doesn't want to go' Tori sounded worried.

'Look I know things haven't been easy recently what with her shoulder and everything but maybe doing something fun will be good for her you know?' Beck pleaded.

'I guess you're right.. but Beck if she asks to leave I'm not going to put her through the stress of forcing her to stay' Tori said sternly.

'Alright thats fair.. I'll text you when i'm in LA' Beck agreed.

'You better!'

Tori ended the call and decided to run herself a bath to ease her stress. Tori had only just got Jade to agree to come to the cow wow. It turns out pregnant Jade was even more stubborn than regular Jade and it was incredibly difficult to argue against her when her points were more than valid 1. She was supposed to be taking it easy.. doctors orders. 2. Her shoulder still hadn't completely healed and 3. Everyone there would want to ask her about the baby. It wasn't a secret anymore that she was pregnant. At 28 weeks and beginning of the third trimester it was just impossible to hide the size of her stomach and when people asked about it Jade couldn't be bothered to deny it anymore.

After drying and curling her hair Tori went back downstairs to find Jade and Trina sprawled out on the sofas, in their pajamas, watching Celebrities Under Water.

'You guys haven't moved since I left' Tori frowned at the two teenagers.

'It's a marathon' Trina shrugged not moving her eyes from the screen.

'Jade.. You hate this show.' Tori crossed her arms.

'Maybe Elsa likes it' Jade replied, eyes also glued to the screen as she cradled her stomach.

'Elsa can't watch tv'

'Elsa can't talk either but you still feel the need to have long drawn out conversations with her' Jade commented. Tori pulled a tongue at the blue eyed girl who was smirking triumphantly. Secretly Jade found it kind of sweet that Tori liked to talk to her unborn daughter. Elsa responded to Tori's voice these days, it was something she thought Tori sort of earned after everything she'd put up with because of her. She only hoped it wasn't too late for Beck to develop that kind of relationship with her too.

'Aren't you going shopping with Cat today?' Tori interrupted Jades thoughts.

'No I cancelled.' Jade blinked having completely forgotten about her earlier plans.

'Why?'

'Because you're dragging me to the Cow Wow.' Jade looked irritated. Tori was just about to reply when the doorbell rang.

'Tori, you get it' Trina shouted from the other sofa. Tori rolled her eyes and made her way over to unlock the front door.

'Hiiiiiiiiiii' Cat squealed as soon as the door opened running into the house and jumping straight on to the coach behind where Jade was lying and wrapped her arms around her tightly.

'Ooof any need!' Jade shouted as Cat scrambled around, making the whole sofa shift.

'You texted me saying you wanted to spoon.. so I spooned' Cat looked confused

'Well you made Elsa sit on my bladder, now I have to pee!' Jade snapped looking annoyed.

'Sorry?' Cat apologised as Jade growled and stood up from her position on the couch. Cat held back a giggle until Jade had left the room but as soon as she was out of sight the red head couldn't contain her laughter.

'Cat don't be mean.. it's probably really uncomfortable' Tori tried to sound stern but she couldn't help but smile at the little red head. Tori turned to face the mirror and began to apply her makeup. She was going out on a date with Andre this afternoon and even though they'd been official for two months she still felt nervous going out with just him.

'Cat do I look ok?' Tori asked doubtfully after she'd finished.

'Yeah why?' Cat replied.

'No reason.. I just feel really ugly today' Tori looked dismayed

'Tori you look pretty.' Jade suddenly reappeared 'And besides Andre isn't going to care.. he's seen you with noodles all over your head and he still fancied you' the pregnant girl grouched as she made her way back over to the couch.

'Cat do I really look pretty?' Tori looked back at Cat insecurely.

'You always look pretty Tori. And today you look especially beautiful.' Cat reassured her

'Cat! Big spoon!' Jade demanded laying back down on the sofa. Cat wrapped her arms around the pale girls waist who smiled contently.

'I feel like I'm everyones boyfriend today' Cat pointed out before bursting into giggles.

'Whats so funny?' Jade turned her head to face Cat who couldn't seem to control her laughter. Tori and Trina also looked towards the red head confused

'I could be a professional boyfriend' Cat explained, to the horror of the others.

'Oh God..' Tori covered her face with her palm just after catching Jades equally mordant look.

'Whatty?' Cat asked innocently. But luckily there was another knock at the front door that saved them from having to answer that question. Tori opened the door and Andre stepped inside.

'Hey baby.' Andre greeted Tori with a kiss on the lips. When they broke apart the musician looked around and caught sight of Cat and Jade spooning and smirked.

'Comfy there Jade?' Andre teased.

'I might be heavily pregnant but don't you think I wont come over there with my scissors' Jade threatened in deceptively calm voice.

'Alright we're leaving' Tori quickly interrupted the brief exchange by taking hold of Andre's hand. 'What are you doing all day?'

'This' Jade shrugged. Cat just smiled placing her hands on Jades baby bump.

'Movement is recommended' Tori pointed out the advice Emma had given her on Jades last appointment with her midwife, but the brunette just snuggled more into Cat.

'Do you want me to come tonight or not?' Jades blue eyes blazed into Tori's warningly.

'Have fun!' Tori replied, leaving promptly. Trina grabbed the remote and put on another episode of Celebrities Under Water she'd recorded and the three girls settled to spend the day lounging around all day, only stopping occasionally to go get food.

'Ladies and Gentlemen welcome aboard this united airlines flight to Los Angles. We apologise for the delay this afternoon caused by adverse weather conditions. We are due to land at approximately 9:45pm. Once again, we welcome you onboard and we hope you have a comfortable journey.'

Beck exhaled as the plane took off and he began to tap his fingers anxiously against the arm of his seat. He was so late. He would have to catch a cab the second he landed and even then the chances of him making it to the Cow Wow were slim.

'Calm down mate! It's not like she's expecting you' His castmate Calum said from the seat next to him. Calum had been his roommate in England and the only one he'd trusted enough to tell about the pregnancy. He and Calum had clicked almost immediately. In a weird way Calum sort of reminded him of Jade. They had very similar personalities, and the same witty, sarcastic sense of humour.

'I've been such a crap boyfriend Cal.. I just wanted to do something right for once.' Beck frowned, leaning back in his seat tense.

'But she was the one who told you to do the movie right?' Calum frowned

'She did.'

'Then whats the problem? It's not your fault you were delayed' Calum shrugged.

'I know that we both agreed me doing the movie was the right decision.. but I'm not so sure anymore' Beck looked perplexed.

'Look, I'm not going to pretend I get it, but I think you did a good thing' Calum put a hand on Beck's shoulder supportively 'think about everything you'll be able to provide for your daughter when she'd born. Didn't you say you're buying a flat? How many teen parents can say they did that by themselves?'

'I guess, thanks Cal' Beck gave a quick smile to his British friend.

'Yeah don't get used to it' Calum put his headphones in and closed his eyes, deciding to get a couple of hours sleep before they landed. Beck leant back in his seat and stared out of the window.. just a few more miles and he'd be home.

Back in Hollywood and the rest of the gang was already at the party. They'd been there a couple of hours and Tori still hadn't heard from Beck and she was freaking out. She kept checking her phone every 15 minutes which was making Andre extremely suspicious. By the fifth time Andre had had enough and pulled her to the side to talk.

'Babe.. why do you keep checking your phone?'

'I'm checking the time' Tori replied unconvincingly.

'Tori.. you may be a good actress, but you can't lie. Now spill.. Are you talking to another guy?' Tori bit her lip really struggling to hold it in and Andre's eyes widened.

'You.. You're talking to another guy.' Andre looked hurt, Tori didn't deny it and Andre took a couple of tentative steps away from her.

'Oh God.. Andre. It's Beck' Tori grabbed his hand pulling him back.

'What?!' Andre looked horrified. And Tori shook her head looking around to make sure noone could hear them.

'He's coming back.. tonight. It was supposed to be surprise' Tori smiled as Andre's face went from shocked to relieved to ecstatic.

'So that's why you've been such a stress head today' Andre said in realisation.

'Hey! I've been calm' Tori replied and Andre raised an eyebrow at her dubiously 'Ok maybe not. I'm so glad someone else knows.' Tori sighed wrapping her arms around his waist and kissing him on the lips. Andre kissed back enthusiastically and for a while they completely forgot they were at the party, just enjoying each others lips.

An hour later and the party was still going on. Cat and Robbie were dancing, although separately rather than together. Something weird was going on between them two at the moment but nobody was sure what. Tori still hadn't heard from Beck and she's started to notice the first few signs from Jade that it wouldn't be long before she'd want to leave. Tori watched from nearby as the pale girl yawned and began to hold her lower back leaning against one of the bar tables.

'Hey, come sit down' Tori suggested, approaching the blue eyed girl.

'I'm fine.. I think I'm going to head home soon' Jade shrugged.

'No you can't leave! You haven't heard mine and Andre's song yet' Tori cried desperately. 'Please stay for it, I really want you to hear it.'

'Why can't you just sing it for me tomorrow?' Jade frowned.

'It won't be the same.. please come sit down' Tori pleaded.

'Ugh fine.. I'll wait for your song' Jade followed Tori over to the stage where her and Andre were setting up the instruments for their performance.

Almost another further hour passed and Tori and Andre had tried every delaying tactic in the book to put off playing their song. Andre "lost" the sheet music and had to restring his guitar. Tori even pretended she had a sudden bout of stage fright and Andre and Jade were forced to give her a long pep talk before she could even consider singing. Somehow Sinjin had ended up kicking Cat in the head and she'd been knocked out so Jade went over to where Robbie along with a small crowd were surrounding the little red head to make sure she was ok, meanwhile Tori quickly checked her phone - she still had no texts from Beck.

'Tori it's 11pm. If you guys are going to perform this song it needs to be now' Lane said warningly.

'It's fine, we're ready' Tori surrendered as Andre rubbed her shoulders sympathetically. The couple climbed onto the stage finally ready to perform their duet.

'Ok Hollywood Arts! Who's ready to rock the Cow Wow?' The crowd cheered loudly as Tori took to the mic. Tori quickly located Jade who had moved back over to the seats before continuing. 'This is a song written by Andre and me and it's called.. Here's to us!'

Tori and Andre performed their latest song. It was the first time they'd performed together since they'd started dating and once the song was over Tori and Andre hugged each other ecstatically. They always felt elated after one of their duets but this one felt even more special. The couple jumped off the stage and walked over to where Jade was sitting as Robbie approached from the audience looking slightly dejected.

'Wheres Cat?' Tori furrowed her brows noticing Robbie's sad look.

'She left' Robbie replied downhearted.

'I think I'd better leave too' Jade stood from her seat pressing both her hands on her back stretching uncomfortably.

'Don't you want to stay for the final Hula dance?' Tori smiled enthusiastically

'I really, really don't' Jade assured her.

'I heard Sikowitz has something special planned!' Andre jumped in.

'Why are you two acting so suspicious? Why do you want me to stay so bad?' Jade frowned as Tori and Andre looked taken aback, shocked she'd caught on. 'Look I really just want to go lie down' Jade pleaded. Tori looked discreetly down at her phone - no new messages. She then looked back up at Jade who was frowning obviously tired.

'Alright. Andre why don't you take Jade back, I'll just tidy up here' Tori gave in. Andre rubbed Tori's side knowing how hard she'd tried to keep Jade here and kissed her chastely on the cheek. People had been filtering out of the party since the performance and now there were less than half the guests there so the Asphalt was fairly empty. The four friends stepped back into the main party area but they'd only walked a few steps forward when Robbie noticed him.

'Is that.. Beck?' Robbie said in disbelief. Tori and Jade quickly turned their heads in the direction that Robbie was facing and sure enough Hollwood Arts latest success story was taking slow but steady steps in their direction, with a wide smile spread across his face.

'Jade' Tori grinned as Jades eyes widened 'Jade, say something!' the tanned girl shook her arm lightly.

'Dshh!' was the only sound that came out of Jades mouth as the fluffy haired boy finally stopped in front of her.

'Surprise baby' Beck just smiled as Jade stood still in a complete state of shock. Beck stepped closer until he was merely inches away from her and they wrapped their arms around each other desperately. When they pulled apart Beck placed one hand on Jades cheek, running his fingers through her now light brown hair until he had pushed the loose curls behind her ear. He was hypnotised by how beautiful she was. Jade held her breath as he then placed the same hand softly on her stomach, his eyes widening as Elsa immediately responded to his touch.

'Oh my God' Beck whispered overwhelmed. Jade looked down at her stomach and placed her hand over his, sliding her fingers in between Beck's as they felt their daughter move together for the first time.

'How are you here?' Jade finally spoke. She still couldn't believe this was real. Half of her wanted to laugh and the other half wanted cry. And she couldn't decide whether she was mad at him for not telling her or just completely relieved to see him.

'We finished earlier than expected' Beck answered, his hand still rested on her abdomen. Beck took a deep breath in an attempt to hold himself together. It was as though the full force of how much he had missed Jade was hitting him all at once and even though she was right in front of him, he ached for her. Wrapping both his arms around her waist, Jade did the same around his neck, without even thinking about everyone around them they leant in and started to kiss for the first time in months, lightly at first but deepening it quickly until they were both completely consumed by it. They were kissing passionately until the strain of leaning for that long caused the seven month pregnant girl to moan weakly into his mouth. Beck immediately placed his hands on her lower back to support her body and savoured the moment before breaking apart. Beck took hold of Jades hands tightly in his own.

'I love you' Jade revealed. Beck didn't think he'd heard her right at first, she never told him she loved him in front of their friends and the look on Jades face showed how vulnerable she knew she was making herself right now. Beck looked straight into her beautiful pale blue eyes he knew he never wanted to be apart from her for that long ever again.

'I love you too, so so much' Beck pulled her into a hug and kissed the top of her head. Jade sunk into his body and quietly exhaled in relief.

'Awww' Tori's voice interrupted the peaceful silence that had been surrounding them, but the reunited couple didn't even mind. Jade just snuggled into Beck's arms, closing her eyes as he stood there holding her blissfully.

'Thank you' Beck mouthed in the direction of his friends. Andre wrapped an arm around Tori who smiled back at the couple.

'I've missed you' Beck whispered into the brunettes hair.

'So what are you gonna do about it?' Jade mumbled, Beck tilted her chin up to kiss her once again. Her lips tasted exactly how he remembered.

'Take me home' Jade said quietly, still not letting go of him for fear that this could all be a dream.

'Is it okay I take my girls back to your place tonight Tori?' Beck couldn't stop the grin from spreading across his cheeks.

'I think that would be ok' Tori grinned back as Beck snuck his hand into Jades pocket to find her car keys. Beck kept one arm around Jade as he hugged all the others goodnight. Everyone was extremely happy to get him back but could tell Jade needed to go home and rest so they let the couple leave, knowing tomorrow there would be more time for the gang to catch up properly.

Once the couple got back to Tori's, they quickly made their way upstairs to bed, hardly taking their hands off each other for a second. They hadn't seen each other in months so the desire to be together overwhelmed them. Despite how tired they both were with the combination of jetlag and pregnancy against them, they did have sex. But it was the most gentle and loving sex they'd ever had, tender touches and warm kisses making up for all the missed time. They climaxed together and fell asleep soon after, wrapped in each others arms. They were finally back where they belonged.
