Hello, this is Pastrinator64 with the FINAL chapter of VOiD. I am so glad to be able to get back to you guys in a reasonable time for once. Lately I've been struggling with procrastination, but it seems that the past is already behind me, because I've been able to write without any delay. :D
Now, despite the fact that I'm rather crestfallen over the death of our main character from the previous chapter, I think I can bring myself up enough to reply to your reviews.
Replies To Reviews...
Volcanic the hedgehog: I have so many SpongeBob and Tobuscus references in this story! XD
spark n' Jetz: I see you have mastered the art of the evil Glitch laugh. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Nwinds: 1. Nice...
2. That's okay, dude. :)
3. If you're bored, just beware now, because this chapter explains a LOT, and you don't want to miss out on it. It's info about the next...um... *cough* *cough* Never mind.
4. Thanks, I wish that my stories were as funny as I am in real life. *sigh*
5. Wait, so you put those numbered reviews before even reading the chapter? Much wow...
6. I fixed that one.
7. Aaaaand, I also fixed THAT one. Gosh, I really hate typos. I've been trying to read through every chapter to check for mistakes, but I forgot with that last one. I didn't forget this time, but it's already the last chapter anyway. :/
8. That's because they put it under the harshest restrictions they could manage at the time. Also, this was the time when they sent Notch, Herobrine and Queen Enderdragon into the past using electromagnetic power in order to take care of the past and present Glitches at the same time, only at different POINTS in time. Get it? If you don't I will not blame you, because sometimes I even confuse myself! ._. It sure made sense to me when I wrote it, but now I've forgotten half of it.
9. Actually, that one wasn't a typo. Those lines were still from Mark's point of view as he was about to be consumed by the Glitch. Is that what you were referring to?
10. Oh dang. *running for my life*
Guest: Ah, I see you remembered Herobrine's real name. It fits, doesn't it? And yes, Salutem is still free of the Glitch's reign for now. Also, the power of the Balance Core is what the Glitch needed, but that thing that Mark was carrying around was merely its forgotten shell. Re PS: I don't care, I still think that frying pans are freaking dangerous in battle, man.
Guest: One can never ask too many questions, my friend. :) Also, don't worry about the mini adventure at the end of the story, I haven't forgotten about it. Actually, now that you mention it, I did have a story stored up in my brain for later about a Frienderman, so you stirred something up by just mentioning it.
Re PS: You're from Britain?
Re PPS: Are you kidding? I thought that The Glitch turned out way better than this.
Re PPPS: That's in my top twenty list of songs. :D
Re PPPPS: Yeah, that part's sorta complicated, though. :/
Re PPPPPS: Er, kinda, yeah.
Re PPPPPPS: Okay then, bye!
Re PPPPPPPS: Probs not.
Enderdude: Man, I'd LOVE to do that, but it costs money to publish a book. Even if I send my book to a publisher, get the money, pay for it and get it on shelves in a bookstore, I'd still have to make more money than I spent. That would all depend on whether anybody liked my book or not. I dunno... I'll think about it again, though. :)
Oh boy! That is a TON of answers right there! *wipes sweat from brow* Well, make sure that you save your reviews for the end of the chapter, because I'm doing something special at the end. Alright, now that I've finished with my replies, how about we get on with the final chapter?
Hello, this is Pastrinator64 with the FINAL chapter of VOiD. Last time on VOiD we watched in relief as Mark reunited with his parents in a happy but short reunion. They headed off with only five minutes to lose, desperately in search of the Aether Palace in hopes of finding and warning Notch of the Glitch's oncoming assault. On the way there they ran into Mastermind and the long-lost mutant plant Lalita. With the help of the hallucination-inducing Televortex, our heroes were able to reach the Aether Palace in almost no time at all. With a few precious minutes left, Mark quickly sought out Notch in the main sanctuary where the Balance Core's rightful pedestal stood. Using Notch's Hammer and the Gloves of Gloom and Glad, Mark was able to break open the invincible glass around the Balance Core and place it back on the pedestal with only seconds to spare.
Despite their efforts, the Balance Core did not function properly on the pedestal, letting the Glitch's ranks to invade the palace as it had planned. The Glitch came into the sanctuary and consumed Notch first, then explained to Mark exactly what had been going on all along. As it turns out, the Glitch had really been after Mark and not the Balance Core, which was revealed to be merely the shell that once contained its magical powers. The energy from the Balance Core had been transferred into Mark for the entire journey for safekeeping, but nevertheless the Glitch was able to find it. It was only a matter of moments before the Glitch had consumed Mark entirely, leaving an emotionally-traumatized Norman and his group to flee back through the Televortex. Now we witness the final scene of the story; here's Norman once again, awaking to find himself in a new dimension with the others, a new and evil plan being explained to him that might perhaps possibly by some chance reveal the plot of the NEXT BOOK. That's right, the NEXT BOOK.
Whew! Man, that summary took two paragraphs this time! I've got to shut up some time.
Anyway, let the story commence!
Chapter 31: Taking Refuge
Norman lay still, completely silent and unaware. All of his thoughts were clouded, so it was as though he had been put under some kind of trance. In fact, that was the best term to describe his situation. He was in a trance, although he could not know of it himself. It would not be broken until later...
"Norman,"
His eyes fluttered open for a moment. He was still trying to shake the sleepiness of the trance, which proved to be difficult. When he sat up he found himself floating in a completely blank and empty white space. Confused, Norman called aloud,
"Hello? Anybody?"
Before him materialized a figure of gleaming gray. It was twice his size though comprised of a carefully shaped cloud of fumes, almost like a massive ghost. Droopy wings extended from either side, glowing with the silvery light. Its head was slightly pointed at some angles and two piercingly white eyes stood out from the just beneath the surface.
"Norman, you know who I am." said the figure.
Norman blinked a couple times before answering,
"Farixz the First?"
Farixz nodded slowly, leading to Norman's continuation.
"Where are Serisdo the Second and Thorvon the Third?" he said; upon another sudden though he added wistfully, "Where is Mark and Vanessa and their friends? Where's Notch? Where's Liz?"
Farixz held up a hand to stop the flow of words and said,
"All of your questions shall be answered in good time, but first I must lead you into the Palace of 0 before we begin."
"The Palace of what?"
Farixz paused for a moment to merely observe Norman and then turned around, hovering in the other direction with his ghostly tail drifting behind. Norman had no other choice but to follow the Spirit, so he jogged to keep up with his gliding pace. As they went along the invisible path, Norman looked up at Farixz for a moment, thinking over his question, and finally said,
"Now that the Glitch has all of the power it needs, does that mean that it's...well...that it's more powerful than you and the other Spirits In Between?"
Farixz did not stop moving even at the probing inquiry, and it seemed rather that he sped up the pace.
"That is the main reason I wanted to gather all of you together at the Palace of 0. The meeting we shall be hosting is definitely the most important that shall ever be held. This meeting is about what we will need to do to keep the entire universe and all dimensions from falling into the Glitch's black hole of cold and darkness." he explained briefly.
Norman could only imagine what horror the Glitch might bring. Such a virus as that could be powerful enough to eat away at the very fabric of space and time. When Norman was brought into the world of Minecraft he thought that the Glitch was too corrupted to defeat, but they managed by some slim chance to lock it away back in The Void, trapped inside that supercomputer of Professor Explotar's—the E.S.C. (Electromagnetic Sensor Computer), to be exact.
But ever since he came back into the world of Minecraft it seems as though the Glitch has surpassed its previous power by a fair margin. If the Glitch had seemed unbeatable when he was there, who knows what it might do now that he's back and it's even more horrific. All these thoughts and more flowed through his brain up until the moment they reached the glorious gates of the Palace of 0.
The only thing was, Norman didn't see what was so glorious about them.
In fact, he didn't even see the gates at all.
Farixz lifted a wing and touched it to whatever invisible barrier lie just ahead. There came a great creaking noise and gust of wind as the unseen doors swung open. Norman was shocked into becoming unspeakable as a whole room became visible behind the first set of doors. There was a great sanctuary much like the one in the Aether Palace, though it was crafted from complete silver and gray material. There must have been at least fifty shades of gray that colored the room. The floor was lined with one great white carpet over the marble floors, towering pillars of the same color lining each side. The walls were lined with gleaming silver jewels and bright paintings of ancient and ghastly creatures.
Farixz caught Norman staring at the paintings of the monsters and gestured to them with his wing.
"Those are the Unforgiven Spawn."
Norman looked up at him and muttered,
"Er, why are they called that?"
For a moment Farixz merely lowered his polygonal head to the ground in silence. The next second came and he had already raised it, though, and so he said,
"That is another thing I must discuss during the meeting."
Farixz squinted into the distance and saw a group of people standing there, murmuring to each other and looking rather solemn. At the sight of them he nodded towards them and announced,
"The others have already arrived. You took a little longer to come awake because of the emotional trauma. Because of this, I have cast a spell on you that will allow you to keep your frustration and anxiety levels at a low until this meeting is over despite what you may remember of the recent occurrences."
Norman looked up at him with an annoyed expression.
"Wait, so you're controlling my mind? That's not right!"
"It is what I must do if we are to successfully get through the meeting without any emotional breakdowns; if it makes you feel any better, I have put this emotion restriction on the others as well to keep this entire meeting flowing smoothly."
Norman frowned up at Farixz for a moment, disapproving of his methods, but finally gave up on his stubbornness and decided to go along with it. They reached the rest of the group in a matter of seconds. As soon as Liz saw Norman approaching she rushed to him and hugged him tight.
"Norman, are you okay, honey?"
Norman did not reject the hug but embraced it, rather.
"I'm fine. I was just hoping you were, too." he said, and then let go of her.
Norman looked over to see the rest of those teenage friends of Mark's running at him as well. They surrounded him, talking all about Mark. Kelsey seemed the most upset out of them all and her eyes were very red, tearing up greatly.
"Mark was the greatest guy I ever met. I bet he was a great son." she murmured, looking up into Norman's richly gray eyes.
Norman smiled for a moment and patted her back as comfort, but soon after felt a pang of guilt and dejection. Horrible memories of the most recent flashed through his mind—the sight of the true Glitch picking up and swallowing his son. This brought tears of his own to his eyes; all of a sudden, he felt very weak and pathetic and had to sit down on the ground, putting his face in his hands to attempt to shield himself from shame. As sudden as they had come, the memories were clouded by a blank empty space and he couldn't remember anymore. He looked up at Farixz, who could pretty much read his mind anyway and said,
"Yes, that is what I have restricted you to. Now then, the meeting must begin right away..."
He watched in anger as Farixz flew up onto the first of the six great thrones that stood in the center of the room. Soon after, Serisdo and Thorvon appeared from above, silently seating themselves in the following two thrones. Sitting down and folding his wings in front of him, Farixz cleared his throat to acquire attention from all of them—Norman, Liz, Vanessa, Kelsey, Adrian, Astrid, and even the Mastermind.
"Everyone, I have called this meeting to discuss with you a highly important matter." he began. "You are some of the last—"
But his speech was interrupted when a gigantic white figure came soaring over his head, startling the others; the exception was the Mastermind, who clapped his hands with delight and smiled. Moments later they realized that it was only Salutem. The pure plasma entity hovered down and landed behind them all, nodding to Farixz a few seconds later and saying,
"Sorry I'm late, Farixz—got into trouble with the virus army while getting here. Continue."
Farixz turned back to the group as a whole and did continue.
"You are some of the last heroes of the Divination of Dimensions. Not even I could have foretold this, but it appears that yet another chapter must be written in the prophecy. I understand that you are all grieving over the loss of Markus Cobweb, but we must focus on only the present and future if we are ever going to save the universe and all its dimensions.
"Now then, I must first explain the Glitch's current position before I delve deep into its wicked plans. As you have already seen, the Glitch has undoubtedly heightened to its most powerful form yet. This form is much more able-bodied than the last, with arms and legs to provide freer movement, reactions, and physical attacks. Also, its size has increased ten-fold and will continue to grow as long as it keeps consuming other dimensions. This means that it will become more difficult as time goes on to defeat it.
"The plasma that makes up its entire being now is merely a collection of mutated viruses that have formed a physical shape due to being close in contact for a long period of time. This plasma is dangerously powerful and can destroy, corrupt and/or consume whatever it touches based on the Glitch's control. But, the Glitch will soon be obtaining a new kind of plasma; this plasma will be created from the fabric of space and time in each dimension that it consumes. This form of plasma is, as I have calculated, over 9,000 times more hazardous than the original. If we continue to let the Glitch go down the path to victory by consuming every dimension in existence then we have no chance of beating it."
Farixz paused not a moment and gestured with both wings to the paintings of the mysterious and cruel-looking creatures to his sides.
"That brings me to the discussion of the Glitch's wretched plot. You see, while the Glitch was falling deeper and deeper into the Void in its weakest state, I took the precaution of reading its slowly-disabling mind before it was wiped clean by the electromagnetic power of the prison. The reason for this was to find out beforehand what the Glitch's plans for the future were just in case there was even the very slim chance that it resurfaced as great evil for the third time. Well, I am very glad that I did so, for now that it has brought itself up to destroy all in existence we are able to at least have a vague idea of what its next move will be.
"I found out that it is the Glitch's master plan to revive these ancient creatures," he began, pointing at all of the creature paintings individually, "from the depths of the 666th Dimension—Hell itself. These creatures have been named the Unforgiven Spawn. Long ago, these creatures terrorized all the first dimensions with similar power to the other Spirits In Between and myself. Since nearly the beginning of time, these monsters have been sealed in the deepest crevices of Hell that only Satan and us Spirits In Between could reach; we did a fine job of locking them all up forever with our ancient magic.
"But now that the Glitch is finally letting out its charged power that has also been cooped up forever and is already growing, it now acts as an anti-matter for us; basically, whatever we do to create, it does to destroy; it counters our powers. With the power it has now it hopes to delve deep into the 666th Dimension, break the most powerful magical seal that has ever been created in the history of everything, and then bring up the Unforgiven Spawn to use for its own. If that happens then all hope shall be diminished. There will be nowhere to flee, not even for us all-powerful Spirits In Between. With those sinful immortals at its side, it will indeed swallow the entire universe and its dimensions in a black hole of pitch-black cold and death."
This was responded to with an uproar from the group. Even the Mastermind didn't look so gleeful anymore. In fact, amidst all the shouting he raised up his twisted black and white staff and blasted his voice across the room.
"SHUT UP!" he screamed, silencing the rest of them in an instant. "THANK you! Anyway, I'd just like to know how the hell we're going to defeat a band of creatures that come from the depths of, well, Hell, AND defeat the Glitch at the same time!"
The upheaval blew up again in the room, its shouts bouncing in echoes across the far walls. Farixz raised a wing to quiet them, and so they did in respect.
"Now then, this is the time when I explain where you all come in. Since I have not quite written the official fourth chapter of the Divination of Dimensions I will have to create a plan for you all on the spot. Markus Cobweb was the only other individual who knew this, but there are really six members of the Spirits In Between—Froace the Fourth, Firzon the Fifth and Sycallion the Sixth were the ones I failed to mention. It is your task to find them and bring them back into the 0thDimension, or more specifically, into the Palace of 0 where their thrones stand."
Astrid looked skeptical at the sound of that. She crossed her arms and looked up at him with the same look.
"And where do you suppose we'd find them, Victor Voodoo?"
Kelsey elbowed her hard and whispered to her to be more polite; that was the inevitable nature of Astrid that got her into trouble. The last thing they needed was for them to be on a Spirit's bad side. Nevertheless, Farixz answered tactfully and diplomatically.
"Long ago, back when us Spirits In Between finished creating the final dimension, we all took a vacation. Yes, even we take vacations once in a while, though it may be hard to believe. This was back before the Minecraft Dimension, or the 64th, as you may remember, was ever even for Minecraft. THIS was back when Earth was in place of it—your very own planet, indeed. So, what we decided to do was take a vacation for a long, long while. In our minds we had no idea that anything such as the Glitch would rise, so we had fallen into a false sense of security. I merely came to rest with Serisdo the Second and Thorvon the Third here in the Palace of 0 because of its impeccable catering and services, making it relaxing enough for our tastes.
"Well, Froace, Firzon and Sycallion were the younger three of our group and they wanted to go to other places. So, what they did was travel forward in time to find a very lively time and age to have their vacations in. Well, they ended up in the 64th Dimension together during the modern times, only this time it was now the Minecraft Dimension, for your universe and all contained inside of it was moved into the 3rd Dimension by this time. Anyway, the three of them decided that they liked the world itself and so they settled in places all over the world of Minecraft, far from each other.
"Little did they know, the Glitch had resurfaced, but only Serisdo, Thorvon and I knew about it. I have tried to contact them, but they have been shielding me out; you see, they are so young, rambunctious and in my opinion rather pigheaded, and so they have blocked all communication so that they may relax where they are until they feel like leaving. It is a horribly selfish decision, might I add, and I will be giving them the proper punishment when they get back."
There were a few mildly amused looks that came from the group. They expected some great and amazing scheme to unearth itself, like some kind of epic quest, but it turned out a lot different than they expected. It seemed a lot less dramatic, really.
"Although I have not been able to locate their exact positions, I have been able to form an incomplete map of their movements. Using this small amount of information, I know vaguely where each three of them are. I do not know which is where, but I am for certain that they are in Blocks Vegas, New Pork, and Glowstone National Park."
This also got another round of amused looks.
"What's with the wordplay?" asked Kelsey, a very small smile managing its way onto her face.
Farixz folded its wings and said,
"It is because those tourist attractions are mods based on the original ones in the 3rd Dimension on Earth. Just imagine the places you know well, only built in Minecraftia instead."
At the sound of that, Astrid's face split with a grin and she clapped her hands together loudly.
"So, we basically get to go to a duplicate of Las Vegas?"
Farixz nodded and she did a triumphant fist pump.
"Heck yeah! We get to go to Las Vegas!" she declared as a suddenly dreamy expression spread across her face. "Casinos, gambling, drive-thru weddings..."
Adrian gave her a highly skeptical and slightly concerned look, muttering,
"Don't get any bright ideas, Astrid."
"Oh man, I hope I meet a couple pimps!" she added, looking too excited.
"ASTRID!" they all shouted, finally getting her to shut up.
Once she was done talking about her relatively disturbing ideas, Farixz cleared his throat and continued on with his speech.
"As I was saying, it is your duty to seek out all three of the vacationing Spirits and bring them back to the Palace of 0 before our time runs out. Once they are here, we may gather our own powers as the Spirits In Between and stop the Glitch before it has the chance to fulfill its plans. After that, it is a matter of time before we wear the creature down to nothing, so we must find a suitable prison for it during that period that will hold it truly forever—if we get there after the many challenges ahead, of course."
Upon a sudden thought, Liz remembered the question that she had been thinking of for so long. Raising her hand to direct his attention towards her, she opened her mouth and asked,
"Farixz? I've been wondering, why is it that the Glitch has been stuck wandering through the Minecraft Dimension? Of all the dimensions it resides in, it picks this one and not a dimension with more powerful creatures and beings to take over. It only ever invades this world, but why?"
Farixz paused for a moment, thinking over the question in his mind, and then gave her a suitable answer just seconds later.
"There is something here that the Glitch wants for a massive part in its plans. You see, at the beginning of time, us six Spirits In Between came to life from out of a special life force. This life force is known as Arabaloca. It is not an object nor animal, but instead a complex patch of space contained inside of a very powerful magic shield of our same power. That patch of space, or void as you may call it, is what our spirit bodies were born from, but the shield around it not only protects our birthplace but is the source of all our ancient magic. Arabaloca is what allows us to create all that we can with what magic we possess.
"To protect this vital life force we sent it off to travel in between dimensions at the same speed that the Glitch can travel now to make sure that no evil creature would ever be able to find it, let alone catch it at the speed it's going. But as the Glitch's power rises, so does its travel speed, allowing it to move from dimension to dimension at dangerous velocities; it allows the Glitch's viruses to corrupt millions of dimensions in a fraction of a second. Soon, its speed will surpass that of Arabaloca, and it will be able to catch up and steal it from right under our noses...well, I don't have a nose, but you get the idea.
"To summarize, we know that the Glitch is aware that Arabaloca is currently traveling right towards the 64th Dimension as we speak, and it will soon be upon us. In fact, the Arabaloca travels past each and every dimension in existence over the course of a year. You can feel a surge of energy when it comes into and when it goes out of the dimension, so you, me, the Glitch, and everyone else will feel something when it comes. This sense will alert the Glitch of its presence, and while it has the Unforgiven Spawn corrupting the other dimensions for it, it will be sending itself into a vigorous search that will indeed end with the almost instant discovery of Arabaloca. Only the reunited forces of us Spirits will be able to track down Arabaloca and take it away before the Glitch can get its icy black hands on it. If it does manage to get a hold of it, it will only need to consume YOU, Salutem..."
He looked up at his purified friend, who nodded in understanding; the situation was grave for all of them, especially him.
"Then it will be completely and undeniable untouchable."
Then he glanced at the rest of the group; they looked completely serious now, though he could tell that they were unsure of what the future would hold. At this notion he took in a deep breath and then added,
"I have complete and utter faith in you all. You are the true heroes of the Divination of Dimensions, and you shall defeat this great evil. The fate of all existence lies in your hands..."
There was a dramatic moment of silence.
But not soon after it appeared, the moment of silence was broken by Norman, who raised his head slightly, took a deep breath, and then declared,
"Well then! We have no time to waste!"
They all murmured in agreement and started for the palace doors. Farixz stood up and raised his wings to stop them.
"Heroes, wait!"
They all stopped and turned back around to look at him.
"What?" said Astrid, raising an eyebrow. "There's a universe and an endless amount of dimensions out there with our names on them! We've gotta go, man!"
Farixz sighed at her impudence and spoke in a tone of finality.
"You are all too weak to go out at this moment in time. You must stay in the Palace of 0 until you have fully recovered from your recent ordeal. Our many servants will cater to your every need until you are ready to go back out into Minecraftia. Am I clear?"
When they thought about it, they realized that it was a better idea to stay and rest. They deserved some time to relax, after all.
Kelsey only wished that Mark were with them so that he could rest as well. But instead, Mark was trapped inside of the Glitch, corrupted, mutated, dissolved, and in an eternal darkness.
"... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..."
"... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...Ma... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...ark... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..."
"... ... ... ... ... ... ...Mark... ... ... ... ... ... ...w... ... ... ... ... ...up... ... ... ... ..."
"... ... ... ... ...Mark, wake up."
The ground beneath Mark was bitterly cold. His skin felt frozen where it came in contact. He rolled over on his side and gave a small groan.
"Ugh. What...happened?" he murmured, his body aching in a terrible way.
He felt a warm hand touch him. It clasped around his arm a few seconds later; he flinched at first, his first reaction being retaliation. But then he noticed that the grip was not tight and did not feel sinister. He opened his eyes as the hand lifted him, helping him to his feet.
He found himself looking at a woman of average size. Her skin was colored peach, though her cheeks were noticeably rosy. Her wavy brown hair grew down to her shoulder blades and was parted to either side, exposing her pretty face. Mark moved his head from side to side, trying to clear up his clouded mind in the slightest, which only made his vision a bit clearer.
"Am I in Heaven?" he said, his eyes glazed over as he tried to shake that sickening drowsy feeling. "And, uh, who are you?"
The woman smiled and shook her head calmly, then frowned around at her darkened environment.
"No, honey, this isn't Heaven. You aren't even dead yet. This is the Plasma Realm."
Mark looked around hazily, observing his dark surroundings. It felt like nighttime, for the ground was black and the air around him was the same, and the only lights were small orbs of glowing red plasma that floated lazily around the place. He could see no end to the space in any direction as though it went on forever. Additionally, he was in the midst of a frightened crowd of people—young and old, healthy and sick, of all different shapes, sizes and colors. He turned back to the woman and blinked a couple times before murmuring,
"You didn't say who you are..."
The woman smiled pleasantly at him for the second time and replied,
"My name is Esmeralda Ironblock."
How's that for a cliff-hanger? Does it make you want to stick around for the third and final book? Just saying that now, because there WILL be another book! It'll be the last of this series, but I know that I'll for sure enjoy it, and I hope that you guys will too! I might take a bit of a break before I start on it, though, so just be aware of that.
Anyway, I might as well do a little QAA...
To the Glitch: Good job. You've killed Mark and have consumed notch. Just, next time don't gloat. Yes, you got lucky with your victory but it could have gone very differently if you had done just a bit more bragging. Norman and friends got away but if you killed them all earlier they would all be dead. But, no you just went and gloated. Heck, you might as well have just thrown in a large cat that you stroked when sitting in a leather chair with Mark being dangled above a shark pit. That's how much you gloated. But apart from that well done.
PS: I preferred your old form.
The Glitch: Well, I did not like it! I was merely a blob! What kind of intimidation do I have if I'm just a blob?! *spits at the ground*
Oh... Well, it appears that's all the QAA there is.
I guess I'd better finish up here.
Okay, so the third book will come out later, but I'm going to take a break first, as I said before. Just as last time, I shall reveal the title to you. This book, which will complete the triquel, I'm thinking will be called Last Stand. In this past chapter, if you read it all, Farixz gave an outline of the plot, so you have at least a vague idea of what it will be about. I will not give any more information than that, though, so have fun imagining the rest of the plot. :D
Also, I would like to announce that a bonus chapter, which will be starring only my most dedicated fans and I, will be posted before I take my nice break, so I will get to work on that.
Thirdly, I am going to ask that you answer each of the questions below in review form, because I will greatly enjoy the feedback I get.
1. Which book was better? Was it The Glitch or VOiD?
2. What did you like about this book?
3. What did you dislike about this book?
4. Who was your favorite character and why?
5. What was your favorite scene and why?
6. Is there anything else you would like to add?
Alright, so that's all I need to know for now. I urge you to post your thoughts!
That's all I have to say! Really, this is the end of VOiD, and I do anticipate your return in the soon future! This is Pastrinator64, signing off once again! ;D
*throws sugar bomb, disappears in a cloud of fine white sugar*
Byyyyyeeeeee...
