Hope you're all having a good week! :)

It was a normal Friday morning when Tori in the middle of a rehearsal for Sikowitz' end of year play was interrupted by the doors swinging open and Beck running in looking a little flustered. Everybody looked up from their scripts and Cat waved excitedly as the fluffy haired guy made his way over to Sikowitz.
'Sorry could I talk to Tori please.. it's urgent' Beck asked his teacher anxiously.
'Err yes that's fine with me, take it from Robbies dance everybody!' Sikowitz directed as Tori quickly jumped off the stage to talk to Beck who had stepped outside the theatre into the corridor.
'Whats going on?' Tori closed the door behind them 'Are you okay? Is Jade okay? Whats happening?'
'Hi. Well i'm good- bit hungry but not too bad and I just texted Jade, she said she's vacuuming our bedroom.. again' Beck replied teasingly. Tori breathed a sigh of relief and hit the fluffy haired guy lightly in the chest.
'Beeeckk why are you pulling me out of class and saying it's an emergency when nothing is happening?' Tori complained. Beck chuckled
'Look I'm sorry but I just got called by the director and I have to go onset to reshoot something'
'And you're telling me this because?' Tori raised an eyebrow
'I was just wondering if you'd come over and keep an eye on J?' Beck asked pleadingly 'She didn't get much sleep last night. Honestly I'm not sure if she actually can and Cat's not in till late, I just really don't want her to be on her own for that long.'
'Of course, how come she's not sleeping?' Tori frowned.
'I think she's just really uncomfortable at the moment' Beck explained
'I'm not surprised' Tori shrugged.
'So you'll come over this afternoon?' Beck confirmed.
'Yeah I'll drop by lunch time. My double music got cancelled so I have free period all afternoon.'
'Thanks Tor' Beck patted her on the arm. He turned to leave but stopped in his track 'I have to warn you though she's in the loveliest of moods'
'I can handle Jade' Tori smirked, going back into the Blackbox.
Later that day Tori showed up at her friends shared apartment. She rang the doorbell but wasn't surprised that she was waiting for a good few minutes before Jade answered the door. The last time Tori had seen her was five days ago and the size of Jade's stomach was already astonishing. Maternity clothes were hardly fitting her anymore and she lost her balance a lot when walking. When she did answer the door it was evident that the pregnant girl had been asleep or at least attempting to sleep.
'Hey' Tori smiled, giving an awkward wave.
'Yeah hey' Jade replied unenthusiastically, stepping aside so Tori could enter the apartment.
'I just thought I'd pop round for a catch up' Tori said cheerfully.
'Yeah I know you're just here to babysit me, you don't have to pretend' Jade jeered as she took a seat on the couch.
'I'm not here to babysit you.' Tori rolled her eyes and sat down next to her.
'Yes you are, Beck sent you here' Jade folded her arms and scowled
'He did. But I came because I wanted to hang out with my friend' Tori said truthfully.
'Yeah whatever' Jade grumbled. Tori took a deep breath watching as Jade rubbed her stomach tenderly. Beck was right about Jades mood, not that she could blame her for being grouchy.
'How are you feeling?' Tori asked at a loss of what to say.
'Bloated, exhausted, aching all over.' Jade simply listed the first three things that came to her mind.
'That sounds.. suckish' Tori replied honestly.
'It is.' Jade scowled.
'Well..' Tori thought carefully about what she could say that wouldn't annoy or upset the pregnant girl 'What do you want to do this afternoon? Your choice.' Jade thought carefully through her options before finally getting an idea.
'Lets go out for lunch.' Jade nodded.
'Can you still drive?' Tori asked skeptically, regretting giving Jade such a free choice over what they could do.
'If I pull the seat back.' Jade shrugged, standing up to go grab her shoes.
'No..' Tori said nervously 'Lets just stay here.' Jade turned around with a furious glare.
'You just said it was my choice!' Jade shouted angrily, 'Why would you say it was my choice and then say no to the one thing I want to do?!'
'Look Jade seriously I get it.. you're unhappy, you're uncomfortable but you know you have to take it easy.' Tori said firmly.
Jade folded her arms and sat back down on the couch defeated.. 'Fine whatever, lets just stay inside and I'll be miserable for the remainder of my pregnancy and you can all treat me like a six year old.'
Tori sighed looking at her friends desolate expression and she rolled her eyes, giving in. 'Where do you want to go?'
'I don't know.. Karaoke Dokie?' Jade suggested
'Oh Jade' Tori wailed. Karaoke Dokie was at least a half hour drive from here, It was as though Jade was determined to push it over the limit.
'Wha-aaat?' Jade moaned.
'You're not supposed to be taking long journeys' Tori reminded her.
'I really don't care, I'm sick and tired of sitting in this apartment.' Jade stood up determined 'Now are you coming with me or am I going alone?'
Not entirely happy with the situation, Tori found herself in the passenger seat of Jades car watching as the pale girl slowly lowered herself in to the drivers side. Barely fitting behind the wheel, Jade exhaled before breathing in as much as she could and sliding her seat belt carefully around her very pregnant belly.
'Beck's going to kill me' Tori wailed, shaking her head in despair as Jade belted herself up.
'Beck won't know we went' Jade rolled her eyes, shuffling to get comfortable in the cramped space.
'Oh God' Tori put her head in her hands. She felt a hand on her arm and looked up to see the pregnant girl reaching out to calm her.
'Tori. Take a chill pill would you, we're only getting lunch.' Jade tried to reassure her. Tori didn't reply, really starting to regret this. 'Please.'
Tori sighed seeing Jades desperate face and finally gave in. A change of scene and a bit of fresh air was surely better than Jade being cooped up, bored and angry for another week
'Fine' Tori agreed, smirking as Jades eyes lit up 'But we're only going for an hour!'
'Whatever.' Jade rolled her eyes, turning the key in the ignition.
Tori was on edge for the first five minutes of the journey but when they finally got on the road and she saw Jade smile, she began to relax. Maybe getting her out of the apartment was a good idea after all.
'So, what's Cat doing this afternoon?' Tori asked once they'd both ordered their food. They were sat in a booth in a corner of the restaurant and Tori was pleased because Jades mood seemed to have improved massively now they were out.
'Well she's "not" going on a date with Robbie thats for sure' Jade smirked, quoting what Cat had told her.
'What do you mean?' Tori tilted her head confused.
'Her and Robbie are going for a romantic stroll in the park and then to see a play together..' Jade mocked in her sweet southern girl accent 'But it's absolutely not a date. Beck wound her up for hours about it last night but she's sticking to her story.'
'I wonder if thats what Robbie thinks..' Tori raised an eyebrow.
'Yeah we all know that's not what Robbie thinks'
'Except Cat' Tori pointed out but Jade shook her head.
'I don't know.. I think she knows more than she's letting on. Do you know he kissed her?'
'What?! When!?' Tori gasped.
'At the Cow Wow but... she ran away.' Jade widened her eyes.
'She what?' Tori asked shocked
'Yup'
'Poor Robbie' Tori sympathised
'Aah he'll get over it' Jade shrugged it off, rearranging the sachets of sauces into colour order. Tori couldn't help but compare Cat's situation to her own. She had run out on Andre when she felt uncomfortable, how was this any different? She did feel bad for their curly haired friend though. He'd been completely head over heels in love with Cat for years and just never ever gave up. She began to wonder if Andre would do the same for her... but her thoughts were interrupted by their food being served.
'Yay' Jade smiled, immediately stabbing a fork into the tiny bowl of salad she'd ordered - minus the dressing and minus the carrots, peppers and onions. It was basically a bowl of lettuce.
I honestly don't see why we had to come all the way to Karaoke Dokie for you to order leaves.' Tori said biting into her burger. Jade just smirked. It wasn't about the food, she had absolutely zero appetite, she just needed to get out.
'How's school since I left?' Jade changed the subject.
'Well Sikowitz is putting on a new play' Tori smiled.
'Let me guess.. you're the lead?' Jade raised an eyebrow.
'Hey!' Tori cried offended, before blushing 'Well yeah..'
'Knew it' Jade smiled triumphantly 'Of course you don't have any decent competition without me there'
'Oh haa haa' Tori replied sarcastically. Jade smirked and was about to ask her another question but stopped when she felt that familiar tightening across her back and abdomen and grimaced painfully.
'Whats wrong?' Tori asked concerned.
'Braxton hicks' Jade managed to mumble through clenched teeth.
'Are you ok?' Tori frowned, as Jade scrunched her eyes up in pain.
'I'm fine.. it'll pass' Jade replied.
'Are you sure? We can leave' said Tori worriedly
'Tori.. It'll pass.' Jade assured her 'Can we talk about something else?'
'Yeah sure.. um what do you wanna talk about?' Tori agreed, her tension still high watching Jade breathe through the contraction. It was bad for another ten seconds but once it settled down, a sly grin appeared on the pale girls face.
'I know, lets hear about you and Andre.' Jade folded her arms interestedly.
'No' Tori shook her head. She really, really didn't want to talk about her relationship. Things were finally starting to return to normal between them but there was definitely something different after the incident at the party that Tori was unsure they'd ever be able to change
'Nuh uh.. Whats going on between you two?' Jade persisted.
'Well we're dating.' Tori shrugged.
'I'm aware..' Jade rolled her eyes 'I meant what's going on on. Has our boy Andre tried to get anymore handsy since the last time?'
'No I've definitely scared him off that for good' Tori looked down feeling perplexed. Jade sighed and pushed her plate forwards, having eaten enough.
'What are you so anxious about? You did talk didn't you?' Jade questioned. The tanned girl nodded but still seemed to be distracted by something.
'Come on spill. Or am I going to have to tell you another Beck and Jade in the bedroom story?' Jade insisted. Tori smirked and looked up as Jade blinked innocently.
'I don't know if I really need anymore details of your sex life to be honest' Tori pointed out.
'Well its non-existent right now so you might as well tell me about yours' Jade probed.
'Agghh I don't know. I just don't think i'm good at the whole relationship thing.. Honestly I just feel like Andre's going to get fed up with all the waiting and decide i'm not worth it. We've been dating for months, we've been friends for years.. I just think he deserves someone more.. i don't know' Tori confessed.
'How can I get this into your head? You don't owe him anything. Just wait until you're ready and if he respects you which I'm almost 100% certain he does.. then he'll wait' Jade said truthfully. Tori shrugged and looked back up at Jade.
'Sorry you're probably sick of hearing me stress about it' Tori sighed.
'No,, I just don't think it's something you need to stress about.' Jade insisted. 'Seriously Tori he liked you for months-' Jade stopped speaking, scrunching her eyes and breathing deeply.
'Braxton hicks?' Tori asked sympathetically.
'Mmhm' Jade nodded, producing a weak moaning sound. Tori held her hand out to the brunette who took it instantly, squeezing hard. Neither of them spoke for about a minute as Jade just focused on getting through the pain. When it finally passed Jade exhaled, leaning back in her seat with her eyes closed.
'They're getting stronger aren't they?' Tori asked nervously.
'No.' Jade replied unconvincingly, despite the pale look she'd suddenly developed.
'Come on, I think we should get back.' Tori paid for their food then helped Jade out of her seat. They'd only taken a couple of steps across the restaurant when Tori felt a Jade's fingers grasping hold of her hand, stopping her.
'Hey are you okay?' Tori asked alarmed.
'I'm fine' Jade sighed, her eyes closed and her balance shaky.
'Do you need to sit down?'
Jade nodded and Tori put an arm around her back, directing her back to their seats. Once they were sat back down the pregnant girl exhaled and slowly reopened her eyes.
'I must have stood up too quickly or something' Jade shook her head in annoyance.
'Do you want me to call someone else to drive us back?' Tori asked, worry contorting her features.
'No it's fine I just felt a bit dizzy for a minute.. I'll manage'
'Are you sure? Think about Elsa right now' Tori said sternly.
'Do you honestly think I'd put her in danger? I'm fine when I'm sat down. It'll be fine.' Jade insisted, getting out of her seat by herself as if to prove it. Tori shook her head not approving of her decision at all but feeling helpless to argue against it. It was moments like this Tori seriously wished she had a licence. They got back in the car and they started the journey back to the apartment. Tori didn't relax this time, alternating between watching the road and keeping an eye on Jade.
After a tense drive, the two girls finally arrived back at the apartment. Without any explanation or hesitation Jade lay down on the sofa and closed her eyes. Tori frowned and briefly checked in Cats room to see if she was home before going over to Jade.
'How are you feeling?' Tori asked softly
'Would you stop asking that?!' Jade growled.
'Alright' Tori stepped back nervously, 'I'm just going to go get a drink do you want one?'
'Whatever' Jade mumbled.
After filling two glasses of water Tori came back to the living room to sit with Jade. She placed a glass in front of the pregnant girl who was currently channel hopping and took a seat on the other couch. When Jade finally found something she liked she lay back down and buried her head in the couch cushions not even watching. Tori opened her mouth to say something but decided against it seeing Jade's eyes close, obviously trying to sleep. Sighing, Tori looked at the time on her phone, there was still a while until Beck would be back so decided she'd at least wait around until he came back.
'Hi guys' Beck greeted the girls when he finally arrived home. Tori breathed a sigh of relief having never been happier to see Beck. Jade had done nothing but lie uncomfortably on the couch for the past two hours and Tori really didn't know what she was supposed to do or whether this was normal.
'Hey Beck' Tori greeted the tanned guy.
'Yeah hey' Jade mumbled not moving her head.
'You alright J?' Beck put his keys down on the side and crouched down next to where she was lying on the sofa.
'I'm fine' Jade snapped gruffly.
'Sure you are' Beck frowned, rubbing her stomach and glancing at Tori who was heading to the kitchen to give them some privacy.
'How was the err.. editing?' Jade asked distracted.
'It was good and everything's sorted now, it was just two scenes we needed to refilm' Beck answered, not moving from Jades side as he attempted to read her body language. It seemed like she was putting a lot of effort into listening to his words.
'And when do you start filming again?' Jade asked delicately
'Next month' Beck told her, frowning as he knew she definitely already knew that.
'Babe would you sit up for me?' Beck said gently, feeling his concern building.
'Why?' Jade asked suspiciously.
'Don't take this the wrong way, but you don't look good. Do you need a doctor?' Beck asked, placing a hand on her cheek genuinely concerned.
'No Beck, I'm just tired' Jade pushed his arm away from her grumpily.
'Alright' Beck pecked her on the lips. Jade pulled him back and kissed him deeper, his lips being the most comforting thing she'd felt all day. Beck was surprised but wasn't about to reject her as she pressed her lips onto his in lots of smaller hungry kisses. Beck was slightly flustered by the time she pulled back. Jade just grimaced and moaned laying back.
'Do you want me to run you a bath?' Beck continued to speak in that worried tone that Jade was sick of.
'No! I want you to leave me alone!' Jade snapped
'Beck frowned at her confused. 'Ok..?'
'You're so annoying' Jade wailed pushing him lightly on the chest. Beck put his hands up and walked over to the kitchen and looked at Tori who had an equally concerned look on her face. Beck filled the kettle with water to make himself a cup of tea, but when he turned back around he noticed Jade getting up from the couch.
'Where are you going?' Beck furrowed his brows.
'To run a bath' Jade mumbled from the bottom stair.
'I said I'll do it for you' Beck disapproved.
'I can do it myself!' She shouted back angrily. Beck shook his head as Tori patted him on the back sympathetically.
'How was she today?' Beck sighed, pouring hot water into a mug.
'She was fine for most of it.. she had a few Braxton Hicks which she seemed pretty uncomfortable through but nothing unusual. Just this past hour she's been acting like this.
'Alright well if she gets any worse tonight i'm gonna take her in because I'm really worried.' Beck looked deep in thought.
'Do you want me to hang around?' Tori offered, noticing the worried look on his face.
'I think that might be a good idea'
'Hiii' Cat skipped into the kitchen.
'Hey Cat, how was your date?' Beck taunted the little red head.
'It wasn't a date!' The red head cried indignantly.
'Sure it wasn't' Beck grinned as Cat pulled a tongue back at him.
'Tori, do you wanna practice our lines for Sikowitz play tonight?' Cat suggested gleefully.
'I do but it depends how Jade is, she's not feeling very well' Tori explained.
'Whats wrong?' Cat frowned sadly.
'We don't know' Tori said in a soft voice 'Come on, let's watch a movie' Tori suggested, thinking everyone needed a bit of light relief. The red head smiled but still looked upset as the tanned girl joined her on the sofa. Beck ran his fingers through his hair anxiously, glancing up at his and Jades bedroom door before joining the girls in the living room.
The movie was a good idea and did provide them all with a distraction but twenty minutes into the comedy, Beck's ears pricked up; he swore he could hear someone crying. The tanned guy stood up startling the others as he listened carefully.
'Beckk!' his heart dropped as he heard Jade wail his name and he sprinted up the stairs two at a time, quickly entering their bedroom and running to the en-suite to find Jade in the gripping onto the edge of the bath, moaning in agony. Quickly Beck knelt down next to her as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
'It really hurts this time' Jade explained as he rubbed her back soothingly.
'Just relax, take deep breaths okay?' Beck talked to her gently
'Ughhhhhh' she moaned loudly.
'Alright, just let it out.. ow my ear' Beck flinched as she continued to groan down his ear.
'Dont joke' Jade wailed as the contraction died down
'Im not babe, I'm sorry, come on lets get you out of here' Beck put his arms around her, helping her out of the tub and speaking to her soothingly as she leant on him. Wrapping a towel around her body she leant on his shoulder as he rubbed her back concerned.
'Are you ok?' Beck asked nervously
'I'm fine..' Jade sighed closing her eyes.
'Do you want me to call Emma?' Beck suggested.
'No it's too early..' Jade shook her head
'Babe.. You just screamed the place down' Beck said doubtfully
'It doesn't hurt that much' Jade shook her head. 'It's Braxton Hicks.'
'I want to take you to hospital' Beck interrupted her.
'I don't need the hospital'
'You're so stubborn' Beck said exasperated.
'I don't need the hospital' Jade insisted. Beck sighed knowing he wasn't going to win this. Releasing her from his arms he followed her as she waddled back to their bedroom to change into some pajamas and dry her hair. Twenty minutes later the couple made their way back downstairs. Jade ignored Cat and Tori's sympathetic looks as she lay down on the couch snuggled against Beck's chest.
'Do you want to watch Celebrities Under Water?' Tori suggested one of Jades favourite shows.
'Yeah whatever' Jade replied miserably. Beck gave Tori a slight nod and she changed the channel to an episode of the infamous tv show. They watched the show in an anxious silence, until five minutes later she started getting another Braxton hicks contraction.
'Mmmm' Jade moaned, scrunching her face up in pain.
'It's alright babe' Beck kissed her cheek, rubbing his hand up and down her back soothingly. Jade just buried her face further into Beck's chest, breathing heavily. Beck bit his lip, he had no idea how to approach the subject anymore. It wasn't his body.
'Are you sure you don't want me to phone Emma?' Beck whispered seriously. Jade just shook her head refusing.
'Jade you seem like you're in a lot of pain.' Tori said softly.
'It's just Braxton hicks, now shh leave me alone.' Jade snapped. Tori, Cat and Beck all shared a worried look. It definitely didn't seem like normal pregnancy aches and pains anymore. Beck checked the time, deciding he'd give it another hour or two before insisting on the hospital. For now he'd just hold her in his arms and try to ensure she was as comfortable as possible.
After a while Jade's contractions seemed to settle down and she fell asleep leaving Beck free to cook dinner for everyone. He decided on a simple pasta dish that he knew everybody liked and served it up with salad and garlic bread. Cat and Tori tucked in straight away but Jade refused to come to the table. Concerned, Beck brought a small plate of food over to the living room and sat with her insisting she try to eat something, but she only managed a few bites before laying down again and falling back to sleep.
Once everyone had finished eating, Beck and Tori collected all the dishes whilst Cat went into her room to rehearse. Tori offered to do the washing up but Beck shook his head insisting that she was a guest. She was about to argue that she was hardly a guest when she heard Jade calling her weakly from the couch. Quickly forgetting about the washing up, Tori turned around and made her way over to the living area.
'Hey, are you alright?' Tori asked softly, crouching down next to Jade.
'Not really' The pregnant girl wailed 'It hurts'
'What hurts?'
'Down there' Jade groaned uncomfortably. Tori nodded realising why Jade had called her not Beck.
'Well.. I could make you a hot water bottle, that might help' Tori suggested softly. Jade just moaned and slid herself off the couch feeling as though she might throw up from the pain.
'Jade.. come on let me help you into bed' Tori said sympathetically. The brunette didn't reply, feeling her stomach contract and wailing loudly.
'I really think you need to go to hospital' Tori advised once the contraction eased.
'Okay' Jade agreed weakly. Tori wasn't sure whether she was more relieved or unsettled that her strong willed friend had finally given in. 'Ugh take me now' she moaned, gripping tightly to the sofa.
'We will, don't worry' Tori rubbed her back as not even two minutes after the last one, her stomach began to contract again. She started to groan becoming very scared.
'Jade just relax sweetie' Tori said nervously. Suddenly the pregnant girl felt a gush of warm liquid between her legs accompanied by even stronger waves of pain and she knew instantly what was happening to her.
'Jade.. Did your water just break?' Tori asked, trying to sound calm but panic lacing her words.
'Yes.. ahhh' Jade crippled over with pain.
'Beck!' Tori shouted loudly as she tried to hold Jade up. Beck entered the room alarmed seeing them both on the floor.
'Jade's water just broke' Tori explained. Beck nodded, hardly seeming surprised at all, just gently wrapping his arms around his very shaken girlfriend and helping her stand.
'Hey don't panic, we'll look after you' Beck said softly. He knew how much she'd been worrying about this and all he wanted was for her to feel safe and know he would take care of her. 'You feel alright?'
'I don't know' Jade mumbled still grimacing.
'We'll go get you changed then I'll drive you to hospital. They'll be able to give you something for the pain' Beck reassured her.
'Yeah..' Jade nodded still in shock. She was about to retreat from Beck's arms when she felt another contraction and changed her mind. It was much, much stronger than any of the braxton hicks she'd been feeling and now her water had broke she could literally feel Elsa pushing down inside of her.
'Aaahhhhh shit!' Jade screamed, leaning forwards and wrapping her arms around Beck's neck in pain.
'Tori would you phone Emma please.' Beck quickly pulled his phone out of his jeans pocket and handed it to Tori. 'Its alright babe we'll get you to hospital, you'll be okay' Beck rubbed her back until the contraction passed.
'This is my punishment for being horrible to you before.' Jade moaned into Beck's shirt.
'No its not' Beck reassured her, 'I think we both had a feeling this was going to happen today'
'Im sorry' Jade sounded upset.
'You don't need to be sorry J. We're going to meet our baby' Beck tilted her chin up to kiss her gently on the lips 'We're going to meet Elsa.'
Yeah I'm not saying any of them made good choices in this chapter to be honest.. but yay Elsa's coming :)
