Nostalgia

6 Months Later...

Melinda was sleeping, Piper and Phoebe came in her room to wake her up.

"Wake up. It's your wedding day." Phoebe said sweetly.

Melinda woke up with a smile on her face.

"It is my wedding day, isn't it? I'm getting married today!" Melinda exclaimed then the sisters hugged her. "I'm so excited." Melinda rubbed Piper's belly. "How are you and my little Chris doing today?"

"We're fantastic. Now don't you worry about a thing. Phoebe, Andrea and I are going to take care of you today." Piper said.

"I want everything to be perfect." Melinda said.

"Take it from me. Don't focus on perfection. Focus on the fact that by the end of the day, you are going to be married to the man of your dreams." Piper said.

A couple hours later, Piper was in her room getting ready. She was almost finished, just putting on her earrings when she heard...

"We meet again, witch."

Piper turned around to see who the evil voice was coming from and to her surprise it was Jeremy.

"Oh no." She attempted to blow him up but it didn't work. "Crap!" She just remembered she needed the power of three. For the first time she tried to tap into Chris' orbing power and orbed to Melinda's room where Phoebe, Melinda and Andrea were.

"Piper..." Phoebe started, they were surprised to see her orb.

"Jeremy. In my room. Power of three spell. Now."

"Stay here, Andrea." Melinda said then the sisters started to run to Piper's room but by then he was headed their way.

"Now!" Piper exclaimed.

"The power of three will set us free..." They chanted until Jeremy was vanquished again.

"That is the third time we've done that!" Piper exclaimed.

"What? What was that?" Melinda asked.

"A warlock. The first demon of any kind that we've ever come across. Oh yeah and Piper's ex- boyfriend. It's a little nostalgic when you think about it." Phoebe explained.

"Demons on my wedding day. Isn't any day sacred?"

"Don't worry honey, let's just finish getting you ready then we're off to the church." Phoebe said then Melinda went back in her room. "I don't like this. That's the third time we killed him. Is this like the time that demon brought back all the demons we vanquished in reverse?"

"I don't know but it's definitely not in reverse because we vanquished Jeremy first. We need to find out what's going on but we need to get Mel through her wedding day." Piper said then they both went into Melinda's room to help her finish getting ready.

Soon Melinda was ready and they were leaving for the church. Leo was already at the church with the twins.

Melinda and Andrea had already went outside. Piper was waiting at the door for Phoebe to come from the kitchen when she heard her scream so she orbed into the kitchen.

"The- the- the Woogey." Phoebe stuttered.

"Phoebe! You're not afraid of it anymore. Just say the spell." Piper said.

"I am light... I am one to strong to fight... Uh- uh... So go away and leave my sight, And take with you this endless night." The Woogey disappeared. "What the hell is going on?"

The four arrived at the church about fifteen minutes later. It was the church where Patty and Sam took Melinda when she was born. It was perfect for her wedding, everything was beautiful. Sam walked her down the aisle. Melinda and Sam exchanged vows. Thankfully the wedding was peaceful with no interruptions. They had the reception back at the house. Piper and Phoebe hoped they could get through the day without anymore demons from the past.

Phoebe was talking to Darryl when a tall handsome man spoke to both of them then directed his attention to Phoebe.

"I'm sorry to interrupt. I have just been waiting to tell you that I'm a fan of yours and I really admire your work on your Ask Phoebe column. You truly understand love."

"Thanks I appreciate that." Phoebe smiled and left it at that.

"I'm Coop." The man said.

"I'm Darryl. You two can talk. My wife needs me over there." Darryl lied because he realized Coop was trying to make a move but Phoebe just didn't see it.

"Nice meeting you Coop. My sister needs me." Phoebe went over to Piper and Leo.

"What are you doing over here with us? There is a gorgeous man over there who is interested in you." Piper said.

"I'm not interested, he's not my type." Phoebe said.

"I don't know his personality but as far as looks go, he is definitely your type. Hopefully, he isn't the personality you typically attract to because you know you like bad boys. Learn from your sisters, good boys are the way to go." Piper kissed Leo.

The next thing they knew, the one and only Cole walked in. Phoebe screamed. Phoebe, Piper and Melinda walked him to the front door.

"How the hell- Why the hell are you here? We vanquished you." Phoebe asked.

"I know. I forgive you." Cole said.

"What?" Phoebe was irritated.

"I'm here to help. I'm not the source anymore, however I do still have power. There's a very powerful demon, that is bringing back demons that had any importance to you. For instance, Jeremy was Piper's boyfriend, she loved him very much at the time. The Woogey scared you as a child and into adult hood. It's obvious why they brought me back... The water demon that killed your mother lived in the ocean so they won't bother. My guess is, they're going to bring back Shax because he killed Prue." Cole explained.

"Shax." The sisters said in unison.

"Everyone has to go." Melinda said.

"Mel-" Phoebe started.

"I know you want this to be the best day for me but Shax is probably coming and it's just too dangerous." Melinda said then went to Jim. "I'm sorry sweetie but we need to cut this reception short."

"Why?" Jim asked.

"... Something dangerous is coming. Everyone needs to go... including you, just until it's safe."

"I'm not going to run every time it gets dangerous."

"But this isn't any kind of danger, Jim. This thing, it killed my sister. Just do me a favor and stay with Leo and the babies until my sisters and I settle this?"

"Ok."

They cleared everyone out of the manor.

"I'm going to go change." Melinda announced then started up the stairs but then they felt a harsh wind come through the house.

"To the attic!" Piper all orbed then looked for the vanquishing spell for Shax.

"Evil winds that blow, That which forms below, No longer may you dwell, Death takes you with this spell." The sisters chanted then Shax was vanquished... again.

"I can't think of anymore demons that would show up but we need to figure out who's doing this before another shows up." Piper said.

"We don't have a whitelighter anymore. Usually we would send Leo up there at this point." Phoebe said then looked at Melinda. "Actually we do have a whitelighter."

"Me?" Melinda questioned.

"Yeah. Orb up there and ask the elders what's going on." Phoebe said.

"Wouldn't that be against the rules?" Melinda asked.

"Like this family follows rules... Besides, it's better to break the rules then be vanquished by a demon we've already vanquished. Go ahead." Piper said then Melinda orbed.

Meanwhile, Leo, the twins and Jim were waiting at P3.

"How do you do this?" Jim asked.

"Do what?" Leo replied.

"Just wait while the woman you love risks her life."

"I'm used to being involved, helping some kind of way but I was their whitelighter my job was to guide then trust that they would defeat any demon they were up against. I had other charges but it was always harder with the sisters because I'm so close to them. Ultimately, you just have to have faith. They know what their doing, their strong, smart and the most powerful. Besides, I've been to the future, trust me, they'll be fine."

"But the future can change, right?"

"It can but their's won't not unless something drastic happens. Don't worry. Trust, have faith. If you don't, you'll never be at peace."

Melinda orbed back into the attic.

"They didn't like me orbing up there, they say it's not my time yet but anyway. The demon sending all these past demons to us sounds like the Dead-Eye demon. He creates bad memories by bringing past bad memories to haunt them in so many words.

"Let's see if we can find him in the book." Phoebe said. They looked him up, found a spell then summoned him. He was eight feet tall, hairy, brown and his eyes were closed.

"Tried to ruin my wedding day, did you? Tried to take out the Charmed ones, did you? I so can't wait to vanquish your sorry ass." Melinda said.

"Pain you give, Misery you adore, Everything you seek to give, You will now endure." The sisters chanted and vanquished the demon.

"It's finally over." Phoebe said.

"Not exactly. Cole is still walking around." Piper said.

Leo, the twins and Jim came home a little while later.

"I'm sorry our reception was cut short but everything is all good now. We can go on our honeymoon." Melinda said to Jim and he kissed her.

Sam orbed in.

"Dad. What's up?" Melinda asked.

"The elders are aware you ladies are out of a whitelighter and since they don't feel that Mel is ready to go up there yet they assigned me to be your new whitelighter." Sam explained.

"At least they didn't send someone we can't stand because we would only listen to Leo." Piper said.

"And you all didn't even do that." Leo said.

"We did so." Piper said.

"You Halliwell's are hardheaded." Leo said.

"Yeah, your mother was hardheaded too." Sam said.

"Uh oh, now it's three on three." Melinda said.

"You guys are not going to start ganging up on us." Phoebe joked.

"Well we are off to Barcelona for our honeymoon. We'll see you guys later." Melinda said before she orbed off with Jim. Sam soon orbed out too. Then Cole walked in.

"You again." Phoebe said.

"Nice greeting." Cole replied. "Did you defeat the demon?"

"Yes." Phoebe replied.

"I'm not evil." Cole said.

"You have evil powers. Look Cole, it doesn't matter if you're good or evil. I can't go down this road again with you. I've moved on and I'm happy. I know deep down you want to be good but it will always be a fight for you and if we're together, a fight for you is just a fight for me. If you love me as much as you say you do, let me be."

"Alright. I'll leave you alone because I do love you."

"Thank you... And Cole, if I find out you're back up to your old ways, I will vanquish you."

"Wouldn't expect anything less." Cole left then the doorbell rung and Phoebe answered.

"Coop, right?" Phoebe asked.

"Yes. I forgot my jacket." Coop said. Phoebe found it and gave it to him. "I know it's a bit sudden but would you go out with me?"

"... Uh... Sure."

"How about tomorrow? Do you know of Quake?"

"Yeah. My sister used to work there."

"Great. It's a date." Coop left then Phoebe heard Piper yell out in pain and ran into the living room.

"What's wrong?" Phoebe asked.

"Contraction. This isn't right. Chris isn't supposed to be born yet." Piper said.

"Maybe changing the future, changed it so that he's born early. I mean it'd still be Chris, just with a different birthday." Leo said.

"You think he's alright?" Piper asked.

"I'm sure of it." Leo replied.

"Good because my water just broke."

"Oh boy. I guess I'll be delivering Chris too. Think we should call Mel?" Phoebe asked.

"I think she'd want to be here." Piper said.

"Mel!" Phoebe called. About a minute later, Melinda and Jim orbed in. "Chris is coming."

"They prepared to bring baby Chris into the world. It was soon time. Precious little Chris arrived in a swaddle of orbs as adorable as they all knew he would be. Phoebe handed him to Piper.

"Hi Christopher Perry Halliwell. We meet again. You're a bit early you know but I can't wait to watch you grow into the man I know you will be. You're such a beautiful soul and we love you so much." Piper said.
