Tetsuya prepared the food all by himself including the strawberry shortcake which he thought was really suitable for Seijuuro. While tasting the icing, he uttered a small giggle of happiness and excitement. It's like he's cooking for his husband. 'Husband?' He blushed at the thought of the man he just saved.

The birthday party consisted of Tetsuya, Noshiro, the three maids and gardener who have worked in the Tetsuya Household for a long time and of course the celebrant. It was a simple yet enjoyable birthday celebration for Seijuuro's. The red head used to have small birthday celebrations when he was in the orphanage and oh how he missed them. The wounds on his body still hurt but the crack in his heart was starting to heal as he appreciated the efforts of his very first friend. Maybe a second chance in his life would be given, starting with the friendship and the sincere kindness of Tetsuya.

A week later:

Even after a week, Seijuuro's mind still could not adjust to his fortunate fate in meeting a very wonderful friend. Days have passed and his wounds had already healed. Tetsuya was very kind to him. He gave Seijuuro proper and clean clothes to wear and even cooked for him. The dog seemed to be attached to Tetsuya which he found it very endearing because they looked so much alike with their very cute baby blue eyes. 'Cute? Wait, what am I thinking? Such impure thoughts.' he chastised himself, trying to get such thoughts out of his mind.

"Seijuuro-kun?" Tetsuya suddenly appeared behind Seijuuro and handed him a mug filled with hot chocolate.

"Ah—thanks…" the red head muttered shyly.

"I have decided that you'll be living here in my house—"

"W—what? No! I can't stay here, I don't want to burden you and cause you any more problems like what I've already done."

Tetsuya glanced at the red head, wearing his saddest, most pitiful expression "You know, this is the first time I made a friend. In my whole life, living in a place as big as this, I never had any companion other than my attendant, Noshiro. I want my friend to stay by my side, so…" Tetsuya starting blushing, his cheeks flushed bright red.

'My goodness... so cute...' The scene of the blushing bluenette was enjoyed and savored by Seijuuro's crimson and gold eyes. "Tetsuya, don't worry, I'm still you're friend, but I'm so sorry. I just can't keep on depending on you so I need to work for myself."

"It's ok, I understand." Tetsuya gave a fake smile. "I'm going to tell Noshiro to help you pack up."

"I—I don't have anything to pack—" but before Seijuuro could finish speaking, he could no longer feel the presence of the bluenette beside him.

On the day where Seijuuro would be leaving the house, Tetsuya was being held up in his office by his father. Using Skype, they were talking about the status of the company's Japanese Branch that Kuroko is currently managing. Though it was tiring and stressful, Tetsuya was used to this. After all, he would soon inherit the entire company and that was even more stressful because he would have to travel across the globe to personally check on the other branches. However, his body was not capable of doing that much workload and there would always come a point that it would not be surprising if he just collapsed of stress. He solely dedicated himself to his work and his employees that trust him and depended on him. Thus, he was loved very much by his employees and the people who worked under him.

"Marriage? Dad, what do you mean by that?" Tetsuya massaged his temples and covered a yawn using his folder while still talking to the man in the projector.

"If you don't have a potential bride in mind, you will have to meet the person that we have chosen to be your bride," the man in the projector, ever calm and collected, told Tetsuya.

"How many times I have to tell you, dad, that I'm still young and busy. I don't have time to spend in such trivial matters."

"Marriage is not trivial matter. You need a partner in life that would take care of you for all eternity."

"I know that, but I'm still 24 and the company is not entirely mine yet," Tetsuya grinned at his father mischievously. His father found his son's antics amusing and was exceedingly proud of what his son had become.

"Very well, I will be content about that answer for today and today only." Tetsuya nodded at his father's statement. "But, you still need a bride soon, okay?"

"Yes, dad. Now that we're done talking about the business, can I go now?"

"Take care son… your mother says she loves you."

The bluenette smiled, stood up and bowed to his father. "I will, dad. I love you and mom too."

His father turned off the video call and quickly put the important documents inside his brown leather bag. Noshiro took hold of the bag and proceeded to the elevator. As soon as they reached the parking lot, Noshiro headed to the car to pick up Tetsuya to drive him home.

"Did you tell Seijuuro to wait for me before leaving the house?" He asked the man in front of him as he strapped on his seatbelt in his seat at the back.

"I called the house but no one answered the phone."

Tetsuya look very worried and nervous with his thoughts all concerned to the certain red head.

"We're here Tetsuya-sa—"

Tetsuya opened the car door and made a run for the house. He went inside the house and searched for Seijuuro but he was nowhere to be found. Suddenly -

"Welcome home, Tetsuya-sama"

A greeting from the familiar, melodious voice made Tetsuya turn his head around and face the man he was looking for.

"Tetsuya-sama, I will work here from now on. I will stay by your side and swear my loyalty to you," Seijuuro smiled at the shocked bluenette. "Everyone, please take care of me." The moment he bowed, Seijuuro made a silent vow to himself that he would forever stay beside his most important friend.
