Recap: Snowflake and friends had started the battle and then Sunfall came and tackled Snowflake!(football! lol)

STORY TIME

Chapter 29

Snowflake felt her limbs go numb. How on earth did Sunfall get here? Snowflake thought. He was pinning Snowflake down, who was flailing and trying to grab his neck, but Sunfall was too big. Snowflake yowled for help, but every cat was already overwhelmed.

"HELP! SUNFALL'S GONNA K-"Snowflake couldn't finish what she was saying. The taste of blood filled her mouth and her eyes went wide. What's happening? she felt around in her mouth for the source of the blood, but she couldn't find it! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!

Snowflake opened her mouth and blood pooled on the ground and on her neck. Sunfall was raking his hind claws over her belly. Must, stay, STRONG! Snowflake thought as she pushed Sunfall off with all of her might. Black specks were starting to darken her vision."HELP!" the creamy she-cat cried. Not even Hawkfire could save her now.

The cold wind was blowing clouds into the area. A storm was starting. The battle had been going on all day, and the sun was about to dip below the clouds.

Odd, where the sun should be is a giant black cloud! "Ooff!"Snowflake had a second cat fighting her; Hailstorm!

"Let's take her out together!"Hailstorm meowed, but Sunfall smacked his mate's head.

"Get Rainstar! Now!"he yowled. Snowflake took advantage of the distraction and rolled over and ran as fast as her legs would carry her to the old log where the ancient elder's den had been. She entered and noticed several cats, along with what looked to be a guard.

"You're not allowed to be near these cats! They are Weaklings! Fit for death and punishment!"the white tom meowed. He was very large, and Snowflake just fell to the ground.

"I'm resting from the battle and hiding from Sunfall."Snowflake mewed softly."Please don't give away where I am."she looked out across camp, and gasped. She saw Foxtail and Curlyfur! And Stormheart, her father! She saw Flameheart and Sagewhisker and Ashfeather and Cloudfeather. It looked like the true Forestclan was winning!

"Hey Whitelion, have you seen Snowflake?"Sunfall asked the tom. Snowflake groaned and flattened her ears. She knew if she had to fight again, she would most likely die. She begged Whitelion with her eyes.

"Who? What's she look like?"the big tom asked, who was Whitelion. He doesn't look half bad; actually, if he wasn't my enemy, I'd love to be his mate, but he's much too old for me, Snowflake thought sadly.

"Cream she-cat with green eyes."Sunfall answered.

"Yes, she went out the back entrance."Whitelion answered.

"Hmmmmmmmm...then why is she right there?"Sunfall pointed with his muzzle."She must've sneaked back in!"Sunfall mewed then looked at Whitelion."Hold her down! Rainstar's coming!"he mewed excitedly. What happened to Morningstar? Snowflake thought in dismay.

"Well well well. What do we have here? Another prisoner? Beat her up until the battle's over, then we'll discuss how to kill her."Rainstar meowed, and looked down at Snowflake, who was being pinned by Sunfall."You're gonna pay for running away you little piece of fox dung!"Rainstar slashed her face, then left.

Sunfall meowed to Whitelion,"What are you waiting for? Aren't you going to beat her up?"

"I need to ask a question. Are you Snowpaw, the cat who ran away for her family, Foreststar's daughter?"Whitelion's booming voice asked.

Snowflake nodded and choked out,"I am. I ran away because I didn't like Rainstar."

"So Snowflake, as you are now, isn't Sunfall your former clanmate?"

"Yes."Snowflake wheezed. With Sunfall on top of her, it was getting harder and harder to breath.

"How DARE you Sunfall!"Snowflake heard the crunch of bones. Sunfall had been smacked off of her and was laying down, his left fore paw's elbow bent the wrong way. Snowflake winced. Whitelion was as powerful as Rainstar.

"She's your clanmate! Why then are you battling her?!"an enraged Whitelion asked.

"Because she's on-"

"I don't care!"Whitelion dug his claws deep into Sunfall's neck. Snowflake looked away, towards the eight cats who were in there with her. They all looked very different, and had different ages. But all of them had something wrong with them.

"Hi,"one of them meowed. It was a small gray and white she-cat, with an awkwardly twisted paw."We are all Weaklings, and Rainstar torture's us."

Snowflake curled up and answered,"He was my mentor a long time ago, but he never tortured me. So, why does he do this?"

A handsome black and white tom with only one amber eye answered,"He wants us to remember that we're the lowest cats of all and that we can't live normal lives because of our deformities."

"Oh. Well, some of you have things that cannot be fixed, others are different. What are your names? All of you?"Snowflake sighed softly.

"I'm Starlingkit, but my new name is Beneath. The cat that just spoke was once Pouncefire, but it got changed to Be Fun because of a fight. You see that little blind tom over there? His name was Crowkit, but it got changed to Paws. And Hold, the she-cat with a crooked tail was named Goldenkit. The three legged tom is Another, but he was once Lostkit, and before that was Mottlekit. It over there was once named Pebblepaw, but was tortured so much he became It. And She was once Rainfall, but once she lost the use of all but one of her legs, she became She. And the pretty she-cat was once known as Sedgewhisker, but is called ugly now. Who are your Weaklings?"

"Uh, we don't have any Weaklings; our cats get healed by Briarstorm, and sometimes God."

All of the cats' eyes were wide. It was weird to them that a clan didn't have Weaklings, but their cats actually got healed. Snowflake layed her head down to sleep.

A loud mew woke Snowflake from her sleep,"The battle is over! Forestclan has won!"Snowflake couldn't believe it. They had won!
