Here's the next chapter of For a Masa, I tried my best to write it well despite being a little tired...haven't been getting much sleep as of late. Anyway, read and review and hope you enjoy.

The hybrid stared at the mace in her hands as if it were a question she could not answer.

"I know how to use it...but it doesn't feel right, using a weapon..." Femur murmured, swinging the mace as she'd been shown...she had to ignore the urge to throw it away from her, as she'd been doing all day. Her head snapped up as she felt three beings enter the bubble around the island...it was the first time she'd been able to feel them enter, and she was sure they did it on purpose.

"Why hello little guardian." Lily said as she and her partners entered the clearing surrounding the shrine, said guardian clenching her hands into fists at her side.

"Why don't you three give up already?" She snarled, the leader smiling at her.

"We've proven already that you're near helpless as long as we have these gloves...why give up when we know that we'll win?" Kane asked with a smirk, the hybrid growling at the dogs. She looked at her weapon again and sighed, dropping it. It would make it harder to win, but she simply wasn't meant to use a weapon.

"Don't be so sure of that." The glowing eyed girl jumped from the shrine towards the shepherd, the closest to the shrine.

"Fool." Atlas said simply, raising his glove to catch the girl's foot as she tried to kick him in the head. However the red and blue fighter merely smiled.

"Chaos Spear!" She called out, spears hitting the large dog and sending him flying back after the shock made him let go of her foot.

"Atlas!" The pink dog called, eyes wide.

"You're becoming a better fighter." Kane admitted, the undead girl huffing.

"That'd mean a lot more coming from someone not trying to steal my charge." She pointed out with a slight smirk...her training with Shadow may be paying off after all.

"You...damn you..." Lily growled, suddenly looking enraged. "How dare you hurt one of my friends! You'll pay!" The dog dashed at the hybrid...who easily jumped over her, but froze as she felt another person enter the island's bubble, they felt vaguely familiar but she couldn't place it.

"You call for reinforcements or something." Femur asked the two conscious members of the group, who both looked confused.

"Out of my way." A female voice snarled, the terrier suddenly going flying.

"Kane!" The chihuahua ran to her friend's side.

"Amy?!" The hybrid asked as she saw the pink hedgehog.

"I came for my mace back...I had a feeling you weren't going to use it." Amy explained, suddenly noticing the dogs. "These happen to be the enemy Rogue and Shadow were talking about?" The guardian nodded, the weapon's master smiling sadistically. "Mind if I help you out?"

"I don't mind at all." The glowing eyed girl smiled back as the smaller girl stood, anger in her blue eyes.

"Kane...Atlas...you hurt them..." Her voice trembled with rage. "I'll make you pay." She dashed towards the adult, eyes narrow. The green eyed hedgehog hit the girl with her hammer, sending her flying towards the undead girl. The red and blue fighter kicked the dog back towards her pack, causing her to land beside her leader.

"Leave." The older girl demanded, the pink thief letting out a growl.

"Fine then...I'll destroy this entire damn island!" She yelled, lifting her glove as it began to glow a familiar green.

"Damn it...Amy, get behind the Master Emerald!" Not understanding what was going on but knowing that the girl understood better than she did, the hammer-user did as she was told.

"Now it just comes down to how much Chaos Energy that glove has...and how much I can hold..." Femur murmured, beginning to gather energy of her own. "Chaos Trap!" She yelled as a large half sphere of green Chaos Energy surrounded Lily.

"Activate!" The dog yelled at the same time, pushing a button on the glove and releasing a Chaos Blast. The hybrid focused on the containment of the unleashed energy using her Chaos Trap, trembling as mass amounts of Chaos Energy passed through her from her charge and into the semi-sphere. Though it wasn't clear how long this lasted Femur eventually had to stop, her body drained of energy. The remaining Chaos Energy from her opponent sent her flying into the shrine, but stopped before it touched it. "You...you stopped..." The pink girl gasped as though she'd used up her own Chaos Energy, staring at the guardian with wide eyes as her eyes stopped glowing.

"Get the hell out of here." Amy snarled when she saw the chihuahua begin towards the corpse girl.

"Damn it..." Lily growled, she'd forgotten about the woman.

"Lily, we're leaving." The voice caused the girl to turn, seeing her leader and friend both up and about again.

"Why?! The guardian is helpless!" The blue eyed girl exclaimed.

"Maybe so, but that woman...she's Amy Rose, a weapon master. Getting it a fight with her isn't worth it, we can come back." Kane explained, the girl letting out an angry sigh before the three left.

"She didn't touch me or the Master Emerald...how did she have so much Chaos Energy stored in that glove?" Femur asked as she returned to normal.

"I'm not sure...but that was pretty impressive." Amy admitted as the guardian sat up, the woman putting her mace back in her bag. "Perhaps you're more like your parents than I thought." She murmured, unheard by the girl.

"Thank you for the help." The undead girl said suddenly, causing the pink hedgehog to turn and face her.

"Where is Shadow?" She questioned simply.

"On the mainland...he said he needed to talk to someone." The hybrid explained, the full-blood nodding...it was probably the girl's parents or something similar.

"...It wasn't a problem." The adult smiled slightly at the glowing eyed girl, assuring it was the truth. She was reminded of her youth when she looked at the girl, though she wasn't sure why. She lung her back bag over her shoulder. "Well, I have a class to teach. Goodbye...Femur." And with that, she left.

The point of Amy teaching her to use a weapon was really just to have Amy come back to the island, sorry ^^; Amy is a famous weapon master, hence why Kane recognised her...as well as her past, of course. Hope you all enjoyed, and see you all soon.
