*Authors note*: This is my first yaoi story ever, so plz be nice and I hope you enjoy the story. Also, this story takes place in the GT series, but Goku never tuned into a kid or left with Shenron.
*Summary*: This is a Vegeta/Goku pairing fic, with slight mentions of Trunks/Goten. The story is about how Trunks and Goten get their fathers to realize their feeling for one another with a game. (Evil Grin) You'll just have to read and find out what sort of game.
*Disclaimer*: I do not own DB, DBZ, DBGT or its characters. Unfortunately... If I did, Goku and Vegeta would be lovers, with Chi-Chi still casting as the bitch and Bulma as a yaoi fan girl.

The room endures a pregnant silence as its two remaining inhabitants struggle to come to terms with their recently required information. On one hand, Goten has given Vegeta his consent as well as his brothers to pursue their beloved father. While on the other, the prince of all Saiyans has practically admitted to having 'feelings' for the previously mentioned third class warrior. The former of the two statements being the problem.
In Vegeta's inner mind, the facts just didn't add up. How could the two sons be ok with Vegeta taking their father away from them? If he were to aspire in a relationship with Kakarot, by no means would he be willing to share with that she witch. Never in a million years! So why then was Goten ok with this?
Deciding to voice his thoughts, Vegeta breaks the silence and ask, "Before we were interrupted, I recall asking why you'd be fine with me taking your father away from your family. Care to elaborate without me having to cause another hole in the wall?" Vegeta sneers.
Barley managing to control a shudder, Goten ignores the threat and speaks with sarcasm in his tone, "Fine your mightiness. To answer your politely asked question, Mom and Dad had a falling out shortly after the fight with Boo. I would say divorce but they never had any legal documents regarding the marriage in the first place. So currently I live on campus, Gohan lives with his wife in our house, mom went back with her father to live in the Ox kingdom with her sorry new boyfriend and dad lives in the house he use to live in as a child. In the mountains at Grandpa Gohan's place. Happy."
"Ecstatic" Vegeta retorts with his own form of sarcasm. Mentally Vegeta remarks, 'So Kakarot is open, free to date anyone he wishes to...or even mate.' Coming to a decision, Vegeta continues mentally, 'Alright I'll do what the humans do, I'll first make my intentions clear by courting him and then mate when were both ready... Of course that doesn't mean I'll take things slow, no, oh no... I've been waiting to damn long for this moment. Tonight I will make Earths hero submit to me.'
Observing the elder Saiyans facial expressions, Goten watches as Vegeta's mouth twists upward on one side and his eyes gain a look similar to that of sadistic pleasure in Goten's mind. Vegeta, sadism, and pleasure; together in one sentence equal's nothing but trouble... to everyone within a planet of him.
Keeping his face neutral Goten mentally comments, 'Looks like Vegeta's made his decision ... that evil smirk almost makes me worry for my fathers... well ass. Hopefully Vegeta will go easy on him...hopefully...good luck dad, your going to need it. Of course their is the possibility dad will top instead of Vegeta... I wonder who will win in a game of 'sex battle'... (Mental pause) ...OH GROSS GOTEN, GET A HOLD OF YOUR MIND! You totally were not just picturing your father doing the nasty with Vegeta! Not in a million years!' Still managing to keep his outer emotions under control Goten asks aloud, "I'm guessing you've made your decision?"
Nodding, Vegeta confirms, "Yes, I've decided to pursue a relationship with Kakarot and see where it leads us. If all goes well I'll talk about mating with him in the near future."
And with that last confession, Vegeta makes his way past Goten and to the door, when Goten suddenly stops him with a hand on his shoulder. Turning his head, Vegeta is about to shrug off the hand when he notices the layer of worry in the younger's eyes.
As if reading the others unspoken thoughts, Vegeta calmly states, "Don't worry, I won't hurt him,... I won't hurt someone I care for." Seeing relief flash in the younger's eyes, Vegeta smiles with a true smile that leaves Goten in shock until his next sentence comes out. "I would never hurt him... unless he wanted me to that is." Transforming his smile into his usual arrogant smirk, Vegeta walks out of the room, followed by a groaning and deeply disturbed Goten.
(Down stairs)
"Hey you guys, It's about time you finally got back." Goku states just as Vegeta's foot hits the bottom step followed by Goten.
"What took you so long?" Trunks questions.
Making their way over Goten sits in the same spot he had before next to Trunks, while Vegeta sits on the floor next to Goku, although much closer then he was before. Taking immediate notice of the now hairs distance between the two, Goku struggles to keep a neutral face as the older Saiyan gets comfortable in his new spot. Of course, as soon as Vegeta leans back and 'accidentally' brushes shoulders with him in the process, Goku quickly losses the fight and lets loose a tomato red blush while facing the direction of the opposite wall.
Smirking in his obvious success in getting a reaction out of the Saiyan next to him, Vegeta answers in an uncaring tone, "Just completing some unfinished business is all."
Not believing that for a second, Trunks looks to his lover with a questioning gaze and mouths the word, 'explain'.
Taking the hint, Goten meets his partners eyes and asks, "So Trunks, truth or dare?"
Not understanding where this is going, Trunks answers with a hint of uncertainty,
"Dare?"
Nodding in approval, Goten once more rises to his feet and responds, "Good, now follow me please. I'll tell you what the dare is on the way up."
With curiosity getting the better of him, Trunks quickly stands up without question and follows Goten up the stairs.
Once the two Demi Saiyan's are out of sight, Vegeta is about to bring up a casual form of conversation, when Goku beats him to it. "Am I missing something? Why is everyone acting so secretive with their dares?"
Hesitating in his answer, Vegeta quickly goes over a million answers in his head that involved not lying to the other Saiyan but also dancing over the truth. The Prince knew Goten had led Trunks upstairs in order to explain the happenings of the previous dare, but didn't want to reveal that information to the other just yet. Going over a few reasonable choices in his head, that didn't involve blowing up a planet (Classic Veggie for ya), Vegeta finally arrives at the perfect answer to his problems.
Keeping his inner smirk to himself, Vegeta calmly reply's in an uncaring tone, "In the end of our most resent dare, Goten asked me a few personal questions about Saiyan mating rituals. Wanting to know the specifics behind it and all that stuff... he probably just wanted to discuss his findings in private with Trunks since the two are most definitely serious about each other." Vegeta concludes.
It wasn't totally a lie, Goten and Trunks had been curious about the possibilities of mating one another in the future, but that was before the game even started. Most likely, the two were now plotting ideas for another pair of Saiyans instead of there own. Although the two are obviously meant for one another, that didn't mean they were old enough to preform the ritual in the first place. Not until after their first heat did he want to dwell on that matter.
Mentally Vegeta prays, 'Come on Kakarot, take the bate. I know your curious about what mating is... come on, ask the million dollar question!'
After a moments pause, "Hey Vegeta,... what's mating mean?" Goku asks.
*Insert mental cheering Vegeta cheerleaders in mini skirts... and then wipe away the disturbing images with bleach*
Keeping his inner cheerleaders and outer neutral expression in check Vegeta responds, "Mating for Saiyan's is kinda like marriage on earth only much more permanent."
"So it's like a marriage ceremony?" Goku questions.
Applauding his inner success, Vegeta continues, "Not exactly no. On Earth marriage involves a few spoken vows, two rings, a witness and a kiss. The Saiyan way of a mating ritual is much more complex than that."
"How so?"
"Well for starters, mating for Saiyan's is forever. You can't get a divorce and you can't be unfaithful to your mated pare. Even in death their is no escape from it. Mating for Saiyan's is rare, cause it is both a strength and a weakness. In strength, it can raise your power levels and give you the ability to communicate and feel your mates presence were ever they may be. In weakness... well, lets just say if your mate dies...you either follow or go insane." Vegeta concludes.
"Oh, I see..." Goku pauses for his next question. "How do Saiyan's mate?"
Smirking Vegeta states, "Well aren't we the curious one Kakarot, have some one in mind I should know about?" Vegeta holds in both a cheer and jump for joy at the younger's blushing face.
Continues, "I guess you could call it a ritual really. After the initial courting process, you then meet with your intentional mate under the full moon and battle for the dominate roll in your relationship. Once the winner is determined, the pare must participate in a game of predator vs. pray and once the dominate has successfully caught the submissive... well, I don't think I have to tell you what comes next." Vegeta grins with a taunting laugh to the others once again beat red face.
With all the blood rushing to his head, Goku stutters in a low and unsure whisper, "S...Sex?" Meeting the elder Saiyan's eyes, Vegeta gives him the nod with his signature smirk and Goku manages to turn his whole face and the tips of his ears even redder.
Continuing as if nothing happened, Vegeta states, "After that, the mating ritual concludes with the dominate marking the submissive as there own."
Still blushing like an erupting volcano, Goku questions with confusion, "Marking?"
Shrugging, Vegeta clarifies, "A bite mark. The mark itself shows you are claimed by another and that no one is to pursue you. A possessive mark."
"Oh..."
Rotating his head downward, Goku's thoughts begin to race even faster than his daily meal would disappear from the table as he contemplates his next move. Should he make a move? Did Vegeta like him in the same way? Would he be rejected?... With his mind so preoccupied with questions, Goku doesn't notice the two Demi Sayains return down stair from their game until they're seated. At the mention of his name, Goku jolts out of his thoughts with surprise.
Controlling his emotions, Goku looks to Trunks with confusion in his eyes and ask, "Sorry Trunks, I didn't even notice you both came back...What did you ask?"
Smirking at the other Sayains question, Trunks repeats, "I asked you whether or not you choose truth or dare?"
With his still conflicting inner thoughts, Goku answers without any thought, "Dare I guess"
Grinning with an obvious evil glint in his eyes that could rival even Vegeta's; from just one glance Goku knew he was screwed... royally screwed. So screwed, that he was even mentally slapping his own face with his tail and cursing himself with ever foul word in the dictionary for letting his guard down.
'Life couldn't get any worse' Goku mentally scowls.
"Alright Goku, I dare you to make out with my dad for a full five minutes! Anything goes."
Trunks states with an even bigger smile on his face at the others shocked expression.
'...Ok, maybe it could get worse.' ...

*Oh man that's a terrible cliffy... sorry guys I just couldn't help myself lol. And I'm so sorry I haven't up dated in a long time... summers just getting to me is all. All fun and no work haha, as in wide open spaces and sleeping in! So no worries about me not finishing the story cause I estimate only two or three chapters to be left and thats it for the first half lol. The sequel will be about the 'mating' itself. Once again sorry for the late update and thank you all for the wonderful reviews. TTFN*
