I want to put this disclaimer out here so I don't get attacked, Christian is going to do something that we as adults obviously wouldn't approve of or condone, but please, please, please remember, this is fan FICTION and we are talking about Christian Grey.

CPOV

It's been two months since my meltdown with Ana and Kristen. I play it in my mind, over and over again.

"Ana, what have I done? She hates me."

"Christian, she doesn't hate you."

"She does, she said it right to me."

"No, Christian, she did not say that. She hated that you took her out of her school. She did not say she hates you. There is a difference."

As much as Ana tried to make me feel better clarifying things for me, it still hurts to know that I am the cause of Kristen's pain.

I've tried apologizing to my baby girl and while I know that Ana has everything to do with Kristen accepting my apology, my daughter's still giving me the cold shoulder and it's breaking my heart. I pour myself a drink and walk towards my home office. Ana has gone up to bed. I loosen my tie and unbutton my shirt. I take a seat at my desk and finish my drink. I'm so fucking upset but I don't know what to do. I'm still trying to figure out this whole fatherhood thing, what the fuck do I know? How do I fix this? Why isn't there a fucking book with instructions on how to do this?

I wallow in self-pity and look around the room, searching for something, anything to help me find the answers that I need to fix this. My eyes land back to my desk and there they are, memories of happier times.

I take each picture frame in my hand and look at each photo. Kristen as a baby mermaid, looking so cute. It was a photo that Ana had taken before I came back into her life. I wanted as many photos as possible from the time that I wasn't a part of their lives. I was cheated and I missed out and I have no one to blame but myself. I pour another drink and decide not to focus on the past. Instead I look at one of my personal favorites. It's a black and white photo of me lifting up my baby girl, after she returned from playing dress up with Auntie Mia. Mia dressed up Kristen like a beautiful ballerina. My beautiful baby ballerina girl, I miss the look of love in her eyes, I miss her calling me daddy.

I put my head in my hands and feel that familiar ache, that pain in knowing that someone I love with all my heart, doesn't love me in return.

I feel her soft hand on my cheek; looking to my side, I see my girl.

"Are...are you ok?" Kristen asks with big sad eyes.

"I'm fine, sweetheart. Daddy's just tired," I say in the hopes that she calls me daddy again.

"I remember that picture," Kristen says as she traces the black and white photo; much to my surprise, she sits on my lap.

I try to remain calm, not wanting to ruin the gesture of what I hope is love on her part, but on the inside, my heart is exploding with love for my daughter.

"You do?" I ask in surprise.

"Yes," Kristen says as she turns her head slightly to face me. "I remember you carrying me and telling me how much you love me," she says matter-of-factly.

"I do love you. You know that, don't you, baby girl?"

"I do, it's just sometimes..." She doesn't complete her thought as she hops off my lap.

"What baby? Tell daddy," I plead.

"It's nothing. I'm going to talk to mommy."

My heart that was once swelling, is shriveling up again. Every step Kristen takes is slowly killing me. She turns to me and says, "Good night."

"Good night, baby girl, I love you."

She smiles and quietly closes the door. At least I got a smile in return. It's better than nothing. Ana is right, it's just going to take some time, is all.

My door opens and it's Kristen, "I almost forgot. Thank you for sending Mason to my new school."

My jaw drops; how did she know? Kristen was so angry at me for sending her to a private school but mostly because she was losing her only friend. I made arrangements to pay for Mason's education and did background checks on his parents. Both are very good people who've had some tough breaks in life.

Imagine their surprise when I appeared on their doorstep. Turns out Mason's father is somewhat of a genius but was recently laid off. His resume is very impressive but because of his history as a drinker he was let go. I told him that I would pay for help with his addiction but only if he was committed to getting better. Then I offered him a job at my company.

A man of his word, he's been sober since we met.

"Kristen, did mommy tell you what I did?" I ask in surprise. Ana promised to keep it between us.

"No, you just did." She smiles, runs up to me and kisses my cheek. "I just knew that it was you. Good night..."

Say it! Say "Daddy" please! I silently plead to my beautiful daughter. I get nothing.

"Good night, baby girl," I whisper quietly, trying to mask my pain.

She walks out once more and quietly closes the door.

My daughter is shrewd, she's going to be a handful as she gets older. I'm going to need help. Why couldn't she have an older brother? Maybe a younger brother might help, too? Hmmmmm...I need to work on that.

I was going to review some figures regarding a new company which Mason's father will help oversee but instead I decide to make it an early night. Perhaps Ana and I can work on a little brother to protect Kristen.

As I walk upstairs I hear Ana; she's in Kristen's bedroom. I approach the door and see that it's ajar.

"Sweetie, I can't help you if you don't tell me. I thought you liked your new school."

"It's not the school mommy, it's..."

"Aren't you happy? You've made so many new friends and now Mason is there with you."

"It's not the school or my friends, mommy. It's...it's...he's mean to me..."

My baby girl starts to cry and it's taking all of my self-control not to kick down the door and demand that my daughter tell me what's happening and who in the fuck is making her cry!

I take a deep breath. Gathering up all my self-restraint, I open the door and quietly walk in the bedroom. Kristen's head is buried in Ana's chest as she continues to sob. A look of fear paralyzes Ana; she's had some horrible thought. What could it be? She quickly puts her hand up to stop me from approaching.

Then it hits me. The ugliest thought that could ever enter my mind envelops me and I want to throw up.

Fuck!

If anyone touched my baby girl, I will...

"Kristen sweetie, listen to me. Is someone at the school...touching you?"

Kristen immediately reacts and says, "Oh no, nothing like that mommy. I know good touch and bad touch and no, no one is doing that."

I immediately calm down as does Ana. I see relief wash over her body as she slumps down and hugs Kristen.

I quietly back out of the room since Kristen doesn't know I was there. I don't want her to think I'm intruding...even though I am.

"Please tell me, sweetie, I want to help you."

"It's Trevor. He's always picking on me, mommy. He's mean but he's sneaky and never lets anyone catch him doing anything to me, or to any of the other kids."

"Trevor? You mean Trevor James? That darling little boy?"

"See that? He's even got you fooled, mommy. Trevor is mean and nobody knows it, well not the grownups. Only us kids know that he's a meanie!"

I feel my fists clenching. Trevor James! Trevor "fucking" James. I know Trevor James, Sr. and he's an ass! I guess the rotten apple doesn't fall far from the fucking tree!

"Did you tell your teacher, Kristen?"

"I tried, mommy, we all have but they don't believe us. Besides, Trevor said his dad has power and can squash us like bugs. What does he mean by that, mommy? Is his daddy a meanie too?"

"Sweetie, I don't know. What I do know is that we'll figure this out. I promise."

"Really? You will?"

"Of course, your daddy and I will work this out. Now get to sleep."

"Ok, thanks, mommy. I love you."

Ana smiles as she tucks our daughter in bed and says, "I love you, too."

I quietly sprint to our bedroom and get into bed. Ana walks in, looking more beautiful than the first time I laid eyes on her.

She smiles as she approaches the bed and asks, "Christian Grey, what is that smile for? Whatever are you thinking?"

"I'm wondering how it's possible for you to be more beautiful as each day passes. I'm a very lucky man, baby."

Ana climbs into bed and lies down on my chest. My mind is racing, wondering how I'm going to fix Trevor James, Sr. and arrange to get his son removed from my daughter's school. That kid thinks his father can squash anyone like a bug? He's not been up against the likes of me. He's been lucky in business world but I can bring his empire down simply by making one fucking phone call. I'll ruin the bastard. Maybe I'll just run him out-of-town. I don't want him to not be able to provide for his family, regardless of how miserable and ill-behaved his children are. I can't harm a child.

"Christian, don't even think about it," Ana purrs as she kisses my chest.

"What? What are you talking about, Ana?"

"I know what you're doing. You're planning Trevor James' demise."

"Jesus, Ana! The way you get into my head is scary. I'm still shocked that I was able to give you and Kristen pink rings without you finding out about your little surprise. Remember how happy Kristen was to get her pink kitty ring? Show me your ring, Ana. As a matter fact, put that ring on and take everything else off."

"It's not working, Christian."

"What was the name of that ring that I purchased for Kristen? I remember that cat was a favorite of yours."

"It was a 'Hello Kitty' ring and you had no business buying our daughter a ring like that."

"What? You loved that ring and thought it was adorable."

"I did until I found out that her ring consisted of rare pink diamonds, Christian. I thought it was costume jewelry, for goodness' sakes."

"Nothing but the best for my wife and daughter."

"It's still not working, Christian. Quit trying to change the subject. We'll figure something out together. I don't want you to bring down Trevor James and his company."

"Ana, I won't bring him down."

Ana lifts her head and gives me that look of doubt.

"Ok, fine. How about if I just make him an offer he can't refuse."

"Oh great, are you going 'Godfather' on me? What are you going to do? Put a horse's head in his bed or something?"

"No, nothing like that. Just...relocate him, drive him out of Seattle."

"Christian Grey, you will do no such thing. You can't solve all our problems by..."

"By what, Ana? I don't understand."

"You can't use your authority in the business world to solve our family issues. We have to learn to work things out in a civilized manner."

"Mmhmm...I see and what makes you think Trevor James is a civilized person? That man has done so many things, things that even make me cringe. You have no idea who or what that man is capable of."

"I don't want to talk about that man anymore. Let's have some fun and get some sleep."

"Now you're talking, baby," I say as I slowly pull down the straps of Ana's nightgown...

CPOV

One week later and we still haven't reached a resolution with Trevor James, Sr. or his spoiled brat. We've spoken to the school and the headmaster; it turns out Trevor James is a huge benefactor so of course the school is going to side with him! I've had enough of this shit. If Kristen didn't love this school I would pull her out but I can't go there, not again. I've tried it Ana's way. I tried to be civilized; that shit doesn't always work. Now it's my turn. I had this plan ready even before this situation was brought to light. You always have to be ahead of the game.

As soon as Ana and I registered Kristen in private school, I asked Taylor if he knew of anyone near Kristen's age that we could trust.

Taylor thought I lost it until I explained my intentions. He tried to contain his smirk, the smug bastard, but he knew what my plans were all along. It just so happened that Taylor has a nephew named Chance. I made arrangements for Chance to attend school with my daughter. He's one year older than Kristen but he's big for his age. Everything has fallen into place and it's time to put my plan into action. I explained the situation to Chance and his mother and with her approval, my plan will go forward.

I see the kids on the playground, running around, playing on swings, and just being kids. I can't help but smile when I see my little princess playing with her friends. There's my baby girl, looking as beautiful as can be. She's wearing a green dress with a light brown sweater, her beautiful long curly copper-colored hair catching the sun's rays. She is such a beautiful little girl, my heart swells with pride and fear. I'm not a gun owner but something tells me I will have to put some guns on display when she starts dating, if only for show. I need to put the fear of God in potential suitors.

Kristen and her friends are playing with a ball when Trevor, Jr. makes his appearance. Little bastard, he looks just like his father and has the same sour look on his face. He takes the ball away from my girl. Kristen looks startled; she slowly approaches him and extends her hand. He hits her hand and pushes her away. My blood boils. I'm about to get up and rush that little fucker when Chance shows up. He takes the ball away from Trevor and hands it back to Kristen. Trevor stands there, not knowing what to do.

Chance turns to walk away but not before he points his finger in Trevor's face. I'm guessing he's threatening him and ordering Trevor to leave the kids alone. Trevor nods and Chance turns to walk away. Trevor gets an evil look in his eye and runs full force towards Chance. He pushes him down so hard that Chance falls face first on the ground. Trevor climbs on him and starts to hit him, but Chance gets up quickly and punches him in the stomach.

A teacher appears and takes the boys for disciplinary action, I assume. There's another boy, Connor, following close behind, with a mini video camera. He has the entire incident on video. He, too, shall be well compensated.

Five minutes later, Chance is back outside, playing with the other kids. He spots me from afar and approaches. Connor makes an appearance as well, but he goes to the other end of the playground.

I smile as Chance runs over to me and says, "How did I do, Mr. Grey?"

"Chance!" I hear someone call out from afar.

"Oh no, that's Miss Jennings. I think I'm in trouble, again."

"Sir, is there something I can help you with?" she asks me.

"Hello, I'm Christian Grey and I was just speaking to my friend, Chance. May I enter?"

"Oh, Mr. Grey, I erm...sorry I didn't know, um...just let me open the security gate," Miss Jennings replies in a flustered state. "I can't seem to locate my badge."

"It appears to be hanging around your neck," I say coolly.

Chance rolls his eyes and says, "Oh brother."

"Oh, yes. Of course." She slides her badge and the security gate opens. "Would you like to speak to Kristen?" she asks as she blushes.

"No, I'll just watch from here, if you don't mind," I reply.

"Very well, I'll...uh...be on my way then. That is...unless you need anything?" she asks as she bats her eyelashes at me.

"I'm fine," I snap and she finally gets the picture.

"Well, how did I do, Mr. Grey?" Chance asks.

I bend my knees so he and I can see each other eye to eye.

"That was perfect, Chance. Let's be clear, though, I do not approve of fighting. It's wrong to fight but that kid wouldn't listen and neither would his parents. Fighting is never the answer. Do you understand?" I ask as I hand him fifty bucks with my handshake.

Chances eyes bug out, "Oh yes! I understand, Mr. Grey! Thanks!"

"Chance, be sure to tell Connor that his package will be waiting for him at his home and tell him thanks for taking the video. You'll both have the new PS4 all set up and waiting for you."

"Oh boy! Thanks again, Mr. Grey."

"You're most welcome, Chance."

As I leave the playground I see Kristen playing with her friends. I can hear one of the little girls ask, "Who's that Kwisten? It's not your Uncle Noah."

"No, he's not my Uncle Noah. He's um..."

My heart sinks, she's still not ready to call me daddy again. I've gotten to the point where I feel as though I've hit rock bottom with her. I don't know what else I can do. I hear Ana's voice in my head, "Give her time, Christian. She'll come around. I promise you."

"Who is he?" the little girl asks as I continue to walk away.

"Kwisten! Kwisten!" I hear a little girl shouting out my name. I turn around and return to the little group surrounding my daughter.

"Are you Kwisten?" the little blonde curly top asks.

"Yes, I'm Christian," I say as I scrunch and get down on their level, meeting them eye to eye.

"Our fwend Kwisten wants us to meet you."

"Oh?" I say in complete surprise. My daughter now wants me to meet her friends, this is different.

My beautiful baby girl slowly approaches me and takes me by the hand, "Evy one, this is my daddy. His name is Christian, just like me. Well, almost like me. My mommy named me after my daddy."

My heart is full, she introduced me as her daddy! If I wasn't in front of all these little kids I swear I would...

"Daddy?! Daddy?! What are you doing?!" My baby girl shouts and giggles as I lift her up in my arms and spin her around, just as I did when she was a baby.

"I'm spinning you around in my arms, baby girl! You used to love when I did this to you as I baby."

"Faster daddy, faster! Wheeeeeee! This is fun!"

I spin until I can't spin anymore. There is no better feeling than hearing your daughter call out to you and say, "Daddy" with so much love. I think I'm walking on air. I slowly stop spinning my baby girl and I kiss her cheek.

"Ok, that's enough little one. I don't want to make you sick."

"Kwisten, can your daddy spin me too?" The little blonde-haired curly top asks shyly.

"Daddy, she's my new best friend. Please daddy?" Kristen looks at me with those big puppy dog eyes. She's never asked me for anything and I'm not about to say "no" to her now.

"Of course, sweetheart." At least that Mason kid is nowhere to be found.

"Yaaaay! Ashley! My daddy gonna spin you, too."

I lift Ashley in my arms and spin her around.

"This is fun!" Ashley exclaims as I twirl her around. I place her back down and Kristen quickly hugs me.

"Thanks, daddy," Kristen whispers in my ear. "That was nice of you to do that and thank you for making Trevor leave me alone. I love you, daddy."

I lift up my baby girl and say, "Daddy loves you, too. So very much."

"I know, daddy, I'm sorry I haven't been nice to you. I don't know why I..."

I place my finger over her lips and say, "No sweetie, it's ok." I smile as a crazy idea runs through my mind.

"Sweetie, what do you say I get you out of school early and we have some fun. Just you and me, what do you say?"

Kristen's eyes light up and she says, "Yes, daddy. I would like that very much!"

APOV

I wait patiently for my husband and daughter to return from their surprise trip. Apparently Christian picked up Kristen at school, but not before a playground fight occurred that ended with Trevor James being expelled from school. I know this had everything to do with Christian and while I do not approve or condone fighting in school, we did exhaust every avenue of trying to work out a solution as to why the younger James boy bullied not only our daughter, but several kids in the school. I don't want to be angry, not now, not when I have wonderful news to share with Christian. We'll be having another baby! I can't wait to tell him!

I push that thought out of my mind as I hear the door open. I approach and see Christian with a huge smile.

"Well, don't you like the cat that swallowed the canary? Christian Grey, what have you done and where is our daughter?" I ask with my hands on my hips.

"Are you ready, sweetheart?" Christian asks.

"Ready!" Kristen replies from behind her father.

Christian moves to one side and Kristen appears.

"Oh my gosh! Kristen! You look adorable, sweetie!"

Kristen is wearing a long sleeve black shirt, a pair of cropped Levi's jeans, red sneakers, topped off with sunglasses and a cheetah type bow keeping her updo in place.

"Christian, did you do this?" I ask in complete shock.

"I did...well, with a little help from my sister."

"Yeah, Auntie Mia helped too! And we're having pizza for dinner!" Kristen exclaims.

I look at Christian and he is beaming with pride, joy and love.

"What is all this?" I ask as I approach Christian and kiss him.

"We're celebrating, mommy. Trevor is gone, he can't be mean anymore. He has to go away to another school and they are even going to help him with his..."

Kristen looks at Christian with a furrowed brow and asks, "What did they call it?"

"Anger issues," Christian replies.

"Yes, his anger issues."

"Goodness, looks like you had a busy day little one," I reply as I take the pizza box from Christian's hands.

"I'll take that to the table," Gail says as I hand her the box.

"Thanks, Gail."

"How did all this happen?" I ask Kristen.

"Daddy!" Kristen replies.

I cover my mouth to prevent myself from squealing with joy. She said it! She's finally called him daddy again! I look at Christian, he has tears in his eyes.

"It was all because of my daddy!"

"Your daddy, huh little one?"

"Yup, my daddy," Kristen says as she runs after her daddy. Christian opens his arms and Kristen jumps on him and says, "I love my daddy!"

Christian kisses the top of her head and says, "And daddy loves you, too, very much."

I take Christian by the hand, while he carries our daughter.

"Come, let's eat. I want to hear all about your day," I say as I smile to myself.

"What's that smile for, Ana? You look like a Cheshire cat. I think you have good news to share as well," Christian says as kisses my cheek.

I smile in return and feel myself blushing, even now. My husband can still make me blush. I cannot wait to share my big news. We're having another baby!

"Oh? I'm merely happy that we're having pizza for dinner, I've been craving it," I reply as I giggle.

I have a wonderful husband, a beautiful daughter and a baby on the way. This is my family, this is my life, these are my loves and I am so very blessed.
